You order drinks inside then take them out to the roof. Fantastic views. We didn't have any food.

Good atmosphere. Good drinks 🍹DJ KodeBleuu was the best part he was awesome and kept the good music flowing. 🎧🎶🎵🎤 We didn’t get any food because they sent the cook home because it rained earlier in the day.

Came to the skybar on 8-10-24 at 22:00 sat in the inside seating part and no waiter or bartender ever came up to me to take my order. I sat for 1 hour and they just looked at me. Since when does the customer go to the bartender to put their order in. Since when does the customer get ignored. Worse service I've ever experienced. Never again yo. I'm telling everyone in my tribe to stay clear of this place because they have no concept of Customer service and will ruin your vacation experience.

Yelp
Located on top of the Lord Baltimore Hotel! Great views of the city! They just re-opened last week after having been closed for some years. Street and valet parking. I lucked out and got a free spot on the street. Good drinks, food, and service. I love a good rooftop, so this might be a regular place for me this coming summer!

Yelp
The grilled honey old bay wings are probably the best I've ever had. I've been thinking about them for the past few days. Those and the view from the outdoor patio (which I forgot to take a picture of) are *chef's kiss* Will definitely be back. And now I see I reviewed them twice. That's how good they are

Yelp
Overall, it is nice that there is a rooftop space downtown, especially in the iconic Lord Baltimore Hotel. The drink was alright and the views were nice but I feel like there could be more done to make it special. I think with some growth, this can be a really electric space. The ambiance and setting is really pretty with the couches and little gazebo like spaces. More photo ops would be nice too.

Yelp
Taste and service not up to par !! There was one wine I tasted that I was not a fan of and she was not able to switch it out without charging me for a new glass !

Yelp
The 2 stars are for the fabulous rooftop, with the cabanas and decent view, and how the food was reasonably good. I was at this venue for an end of summer event. When I got there and ordered, not many people had arrived, so I felt fairly secure my food order would be out sooner rather than later. Wrong! I had to approach the register/food prep area after waiting 30 minutes + and was given the cheeseburger sliders I'd ordered. But I still had a missing veggie mezze plate. I took the sliders back to my table and ate them, expecting the veggie mezze plate to show up soon. It didn't. I had to go back to the register/prep area, then wait around while the service staff looked stupid and didn't give me what I paid for. I waited a good 10 minutes and was just about to go through with a refund when the veggie mezze plate. It was truly underwhelming. Looked like something a 10-year old would have done, not something I expect on a sexy rooftop. All the veggies, hummus, and pita were edible and good, however. Overall, I feel like the service was awful and I had to do a lot of extra work to fix a situation I didn't cause.

Yelp
We went there for Happy Hour and the wine deal was $5 per wine glass. We had Joey as our bartender and he was great --he knew us by first names and he built a great rapport. It's probably one of the best rooftop bars in baltimore, but to be fair, its only one of 3 (?) rooftop bars in baltimore. The weather was really nice and sunny, so we sat in a cabana where we could get some shade. There was a party there before us who left a lot of cans and bottles and glasses on the table top, but they were quick to clean up for us, which was really nice. The view is alright, not the best in baltimore, but I'm sure the fairy lights and the plant walls/cabana can make it IG aesthetic. Would definitely go back for with my girls!

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place. It was everyone's first time going because Baltimore doesn't have too many rooftop establishments, but this place is a winner. We came in for happy our as a party of about 15 or so. I'm not sure if they have daily specials or not but when we were there (Friday, June 9th). There was a white peach sangria special (loved it). We ordered that by the pitcher. There was a Hurricane special. I didn't try it but a few people in my party ordered pitchers and a $7 absolute drink special. Not bad at all for a Friday Happy Hour. We all thought the food was only - Just Ok. We were hungry, but didn't order much because it just didn't taste that good. We ordered a few orders of chicken tacos, street steak tacos, and the hummus. I don't believe anyone had anything. We noticed there was 4 other parties there, some small, small bigger. There was plenty of space for all of the parties to have a good time without being in anyone's way. The servers were super attentive and took lots of pics. Check them out in my review! Overall, really great place to grab a drink after work when the weather is nice, but plan to grab dinner someplace else. After all ... it is a cocktail bar so be mindful of that and don't expect much for the food.

Yelp
Given the lack of rooftops in Baltimore, LB Skybar fills that little void so more rooftops please! It is not on the very top floor of the building. It would have been great to over look the city not to stretch my neck to look at the top of taller buildings. There are two bars, one indoor and one outdoor. There wasn't a lot of alcohol options to choose from at the bar. I asked for a certain drink and they weren't able to prepare it. The rooftop also has food options. I didn't order anything from the food menu but from what I've seen, it looked good. I asked those that did order and the review of it was acceptable. The rooftop also provides cabanas which I thought was a cute touch. The weather was perfect when I went for an event. Go and check it out.

Yelp
Came here recently for an event and was super excited because I'd been hearing about LB Skybar for a while. I've gotta say, in the end I was extremely disappointed. It's a rooftop bar so that's immediately a plus, especially because Baltimore is lacking in this scene. While they do have a nice variety of seating (couches, Cabañas for shade, high tops, etc), the decor looks cheap and like it was thrown together at the last minute. The string lights around our cabana, which actually gave a nice ambiance to the place, weren't working. Shame. And the plastic drink-ware definitely doesn't help, although this probably isn't their fault and could be due to safety codes. The food was especially disappointing. When I greeted my group, I was immediately advised not to order the crab roll because it was flavorless and overpriced. Okay, noted. Instead, I got the chicken buns for $15. This dish came out on a paper plate, with a side of chips and 3 steamed buns of chicken and slaw. Great --unlike the other dishes, they did not skimp here! But the chicken itself was just not good. I felt like I was eating a microwave meal. For that price, I could've cooked myself up something 100x better. Would never order food from here again. I get the vibe that this place is going for, and I really really wish they could pull it off. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time at the event thanks to good company and the help of alcohol. But between the bad food, the plastic/paper dishes, and the decor... this just ain't it. I most likely won't be back, since there are much better outdoor spaces in Baltimore to enjoy.

Yelp
LB skybar had awesome views of the city! The vibe was much more casual than I would have imagined. There were scattered high and low top tables with globe lights strung above. There were a variety of summery cocktails and a wine list, but ultimately we chose one of the beer specials. For $20 dollars, we got a bucket of 5 craft beers that we could select. We chose all Peabody Heights brews, which did not disappoint. I thought this deal was definitely reasonable!

Yelp
This place seems like it would be fabulous for a rooftop bar and all of the social media posts about it. It is the perfect example of how social media distorts reality. Of course everyone wants to post how much fun they are having but no one writes, "by the way the drinks are extremely sugary." The roof top itself is OK. Not spectacular - there are definitely indoor options with a much better ambiance. The drinks themselves are so overly sugary and the bar tenders are definitely not trained as bar tenders. The food itself is also very mediocre. Order a pizza and its a frozen pizza similar to something you would get at a high school canteen. I was definitely embarrassed that I had suggested this place as a good happy hour option. There are much better options in the area. I will not be going back.

Yelp
I enjoy a good drink on a rooftop and this place ticks off some of the boxes needed. Parking was a lot easier than i expected it to in this part of town. The lobby of the hotel is also adorable and getting through to the rooftop was super easy. Once i was up I was greeted by a super happy bartender who made me feel right at home. I dont love that there isnt any table service and you have to go in to the bar to order but it wasnt the end of the world.. Also it makes me a little sad that there is only a partial city view on the rooftop. The building is sandwiched between a few other taller buildings so the view can only been seen from one area on the very end of the rooftop. But, on the positive side they have a great wall for awesome photos and the food is fresh made and delicious.

Yelp
Last Thursday was very first time ever coming here and I was instantly blow away with the view. The ladies of Wine Dine Repeat were hosting a Happy Hour to kick off Summer Solstice. There are not to many rooftop places in the city, but I really enjoyed this one. Nice chill spot to have a few drinks and unwind. Did not get a chance to try the food, considering I had another event to attend that evening as well. So I just stopped by to have a few drinks and support the ladies. Love the $7 absolute drink special for HH, they were absolutely delicious and refreshing. The bar staff were really nice and accommodating and made sure you really liked your drink Overall this is a really nice place to stop in after work with a group of friends when the weather is nice. I will definitely return

Yelp
The sky at was a nice experience being in the roof top the prices are reasonable and the drinks are awesome, especially that bucket drink with the popsicle in it.

Yelp
The rooftop itself is pretty great with couches to lounge on and green foliage- it certainly doesn't feel like you're in the heart of Baltimore downtown. The appetizers though were subpar and overpriced. We ordered Mediterranean platter and it was comparable to a pre-made pack you'd get at the grocery store. Parking is an issue in this area and we paid $10 for valet which needs to be validated upstairs at the bar. If you're coming with a group I'd recommend taking Uber together to avoid that. I think I'd come here again for a beer or glass of wine when weather is pleasant.
google avatar

Jaime G.

Yelp
Food and drink options are limited and overpriced. You pay 3x as much as LB Lobby bar for 1/2 the drink and quality. Not impressed. They upcharged us $8 per drink for a standard/classic drink. Also no outside service. But the view is great. So I guess that's what you are paying for.

Yelp
Such a great view with a fun rooftop! My friend and I swung by after Artscape for some food and a drink. I tried the Basil Lemonade and my friend had a glass of wine. The lemonade cocktail was OK, it was a little sweet for me, but my friend thought it was delicious. We both ordered tacos, I got Chicken made Street Style and she ordered the Fish Cali Style. We were starving and so excited to see our food coming out. I was surprised to see only two tacos when the price was $12, 6 bucks for a taco is a lot IMHO, esp when it is topped with shredded colby cheese on a simple flour tortilla. Normally, even a craft taco from an authentic joint will run you 4-5 bucks for their fanciest taco MAX. Either way, we inhaled them and they were fine. What I also found kind of annoying was they did not bring out napkins or plates? Just a taco stand and that was it. Our total was ~$55 for a total of 4 tacos a glass of wine and a cocktail, which I kind of found to be ridiculous. I would return for a drink and maybe order a pizza or the hot dog? The pizza portion seems to be a bit larger for an OK price.

Yelp
Tip -- Call before going to make sure they are actually open. Con -- Hours are posted to open @ 4pm on Fridays. We show up at 4:30. A bellman tells us they aren't open until 5pm. After hanging around a bit, the bartender in the lobby calls up and says they won't open until 6pm. Bottom Line -- Unprofessional. Don't bother.

Yelp
Believe it or not, in a city with a great skyline and reasonable weather at least 50% of year, you would expect more rooftop dining and bar establishments. According to Baltimore Magazine, the only rooftop establishments include - L.P. Steamers - Blue Hill Tavern - Nick's Fish House - Splash Pool and Bar - Woody's Rum Bar - Cafe Gia LB Skybar, happens to be open late and feature pretty nice views of the city. Although its location on the 19th floor of the Lord Baltimore hotel isn't as tall as you would presume, it still is quite beautiful. The music was great, not overpowering, and definitely set a good vibe. The drinks were outrageously overpriced, even compared to local establishments surrounding it. They could, in general, do much better. Bar tenders and waitresses were friendly but wore shorts and t-shirts, making the atmosphere slightly uncomfortable as most guests there were at least trying to look good. There are only about three food selections, even as appetizers so do not go there hungry. Also, unfortunately, because it is an outdoor establishment, it does allow guests to smoke cigars on the rooftop. This may be unpleasant and even hazardous to other patrons and employees. This place has tons of potential! It's not there yet.

Yelp
It gets point for originality, since there aren't really any rooftop bar options in Baltimore. The LB Skybar is at the top of the Lord Baltimore Hotel, which isn't in the greatest of areas, and could use a serious make over from the looks of it. When you enter the lobby, there aren't really any signs directing you to the skybar, so I used common sense and got in the elevator and hit the button for the highest floor. When you get out on the 19th floor, there's a host who greets you at a make shift podium in a room that looks like a dentist's lobby. After you walk through the dentist's lobby room, you get outside onto the roof. There's some cool seating. The space is intimate. The bar has a small cocktail menu and the drinks were very strong, but at the same time each drink was $12, which is New York pricing. You don't have a particularly wonderful view of any building. The crowd that was there was kind of a weird mix. There were young 20 something year old women dressed to the nines with men 20 years their elder, but then there was a fair share of blue collared guys in their Orioles t-shirts. Those two elements were mixed in with random hotel guests. I think A-OK is a perfect way to describe the Skybar. It's nothing extraordinary, but I wouldn't be opposed to going back.
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
The pictures are deceiving, this "sky bar" looks like someone's backyard with dollar store furniture. I heard good reviews about this place that's why I was so eager to try it. The crowd was a bit to ratchet for my liking. My friend and I were there for 30minutes and left. They told my friend that there was a dress code when he called but once we got there everybody was in jerseys and basketball shorts. Like wtf?! Definitely wasn't impressed at all .
google avatar

Monica M.

Yelp
Good enough for a rooftop but drinks are sweet and overpriced. Lots of fun on a nice day and a great spot to chill with a group of friends
google avatar

Bryan C.

Yelp
I will grade this on a curve as likely give place three stars if in nyc. Since really no other rooftop bar in Baltimore it has nothing to compare itself to. I might have given it 5 but having bartender who had 3 weeks of experience and lack of proper seating for large groups gives them 4 stars. They could use 2 larger u shaped couch areas with table in middle for group party nights. Place closes at 1130 as four penthouse floor are above the bar. Drinks were good and had good wine options. If coming in groups of 4 or less then seating options are not a problem. Being one of taller buildings get nice view of inner harbor especially the remodeled 10 light st building.
google avatar

Quint L.

Yelp
Nice little after hours spot. Nothing to really write home about. Yet here I am writing. The pizza is good drinks are at a good price during happy hour. Not so much to see as far as a view. But like I said it is a nice cozy spot. Not crowded bartenders are friendly
google avatar

J T.

Yelp
It has a beautiful view. Just wish they hosted more events in the winter, or perhaps winter themed. It's a shame that they don't. But it just gets you excited when temps begin to increase.....you know their patio/rooftop will open up. They should move the wine tasting happy hours up there. That would be a lot of fun.

Yelp
A friend and I visited the Lord Baltimore Hotel Skybar for the first time and it did not disappoint. The service was exceptional; both bartenders were very friendly, especially Joey. With the happy hour deals, you can get a tasty Absolut mixed drink for only $7. We will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Charina C.

Yelp
Love this place. Shaded by the pergola draped with canvas we enjoyed our peach sangrias, delicious steak tacos and pork belly Asian salad. The food, friends and open air experience were fantastic
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
Say outside rooftop and ordered the steak tacos. Absolutely outstanding tacos and chef Gary visited with us and gave us a history to the hotel. Service was outstanding and would certainly recommend coming back. My only suggestion would be an acoustic guitarist.
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
Been to a lot of rooftops all over the country. This is quite possibly the least pretentious most laid back Rooftop I've been to. My suggestion is to go for happy hour. Excellent drink deals. Exactly what you need for a casual post work drink or two, or three.
google avatar

Mick S.

Yelp
Love the vibe of Baltimore's first rooftop bar! It has a very authentic touch, from the view, location, to the bartenders. Maxwell created a very well crafted cocktail list with fresh ingredients and well thought-out concoctions. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and is a good spot whether you're with friends or on a date. To top it off, the view of the 10 Light city bldg certainly won't disappoint. I definitely hope this establishment thrives and is here to stay.
google avatar

Ed L.

Yelp
A small group from work went here for Happy Hour, only to find a majority of the rooftop area reserved for different group functions. Our server, Brittany, was outstanding! She made sure that we had everything we needed. The prices for the food were a bit expensive for Happy Hour, and they had only a few selections for food. The only major issue that was of concern for me was the cigar and cigarette smoke from the other tables. With the shifting wind on the roof, it seems the smoke came from everywhere. Because of the the smoke, and the prices to some extent, I will most likely not return. I wish them luck.

Edem D.

Yelp
Came for an event and it was enjoyable. Able to light my cigars so that's always a plus...
google avatar

Evangelia S.

Yelp
The bar is average with limited amount of specialty cocktails and platters. The cocktails we got were nice but not exceptional. As a rooftop bar, it gives a nice feeling during summer. However, view is not spectacular: you get only to see nearby buildings.

Becky R.

Yelp
Has potential since there really aren't many rooftop bars in Baltimore. Feels like it was put together too quickly. Could use some help with the decor/ambience. Not a bad place to stop in for a drink but I wouldn't make this a destination.

Amer A.

Yelp
A bar that is mostly patronized by smokers. If you are bothered by cigar and cigarette smoke, it's best to avoid. Cocktails weren't good. Very watered down. The jalapeño paloma tasted like they poured a whole can of brine in the shaker. Definitely a missed opportunity, as a rooftop bar in Baltimore is a great idea.

Chip D.

Yelp
Its fine if you're staying at LB or if you're desperate for a rooftop experience but needs improvement to become a true destination. If you're going to charge $12 for drinks you should strain them more carefully, both my date and I kept getting chunks up our straw. It's also a little cheesy to drink out of a plastic glass. Ambiance isn't great, definitely more couches would make it nicer and some rearranging of the tables to make it more welcoming. Closing at 11:30pm on Saturday night is lame and then locking the bathrooms before everyone leaves is even more lame. I had to go to the bar downstairs and ask the bartender for a key to get into the downstairs bathroom which needed cleaning (smelled horrible). When they were closing they didn't tactfully walk by the tables to let us know it was time to go. Instead some security type guy just yelled "Skybar is Closed" from the bar area. Also a family brought some kids up there which I guess is fine but don't normally expect kids walking around when you're at a bar. All in all not a great experience. Wanted to like it more, hopefully mgmt will make some improvements.
