LBK Pizza

Ordered the Margherita 16 inch with anchovies. Anchovies were clumped in globs on the pizza, making each bite an unbearable amount of salty. The anchovies also had really hard bones in them. The dough was closer to NY style than Neapolitan (which isn’t a huge problem for me, but just a heads up for other customers). Threw it out.

Well, the pizza was great, hands down. The only real complaint I have is I ordered one small vegetarian pizza and one large meat. Well, when I changed my mind on the size of the small dude told me he was going to charge me for a large ANYHOW. So if you're ordering whole pizza's and u get a small, beware of price gouging.

Came here for the 1st time with kids and family. We had the Margherita and Funghi pizza. The kids couldn't stop saying how they loved the pizza. The pies were amazing with the thin chewy crust. Definitely recommend. Prices were decent too. Don't forget to try the Nutella pizza at the end for dessert.

Neapolitan Pizza in Tujunga Village. Gluten-free pizza is hard to come by but they did well especially since the dough was airy and chewy. It was the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had in Los Angeles. Premium toppings and authentic selections made it worth every dollar spent. I ordered the Arugula. I’m satisfied with my customer experience.The lady at the counter was friendly and eager to help customers. As soon as I walked to the counter, she stopped chatting with pizza makers and greeted me. She let me know that it would take 15 minutes for my pizza to bake. I was able to pop into some nearby shops. When my pizza was ready, the lady came outside greeted me by name, handed me my pie, and wished me a pleasant evening.

I thought I would try a slice of pizza to see if it measured up to my favorite pizza place (Mulberry Street), but this business discriminates against under-privileged people, people with poor credit scores, and those who cannot have a bank account, because the WILL NOT accept cash as mandated by the The City of Los Angeles. I have too many credit cards to mention, yet left without ordering and urge others to do the same. This is sad and needs to change and perhaps if the owner(s) see a drop in revenue, perhaps they will wise up?

I’m from New York, and when I come to LA this is where I go for pizza. On a sign inside it mentions how they use a long cold fermentation on the dough and I’ve read that they modify the water to be mineral-y similar to NYC water. Their time and patience with crafting the dough is worth it. Similar to the good pizzerias of Naples, the dough is light, has a crunchy exterior, and a great chew. Beyond the dough, the ingredients used are high quality. The sauce is simple, which is perfect for Neapolitan style pizza. The chili oil is great as well! If you’re looking for exceptionally good pizza in LA, this is the place to go.

This was for sure one step above just a solid slice. First time and the staff hooked it up with an extra slice! Super friendly people. Tried the hot pepperoni, sausage and classic Margherita. Will definitely be back; dangerous being walking distance!

The pizza honestly is not anything to be excited about. Its not bad but doesn't really give me a sense of flavor. They are really kind and like to make sure they look nice. Other than the price and flavor they overall are a nice place. I would not reccomend this place due to the fact I could enjoy more flavor from a sausage pizza from any other place. It may just be me though dont let me discourage you.

Top notch yum pizza with a great soft, chewy crust that got that neopolitan rise. I especially appreciate that they offer a variety of flavors as single slices for $4. The burrata cheese is the best, so my suggestion is to try a pizza with the burrata. The salad portion is huge, easy enough to share with two. I finished about 3/4 of the salad before my mouth got tired of all the chew. I got the spinach salad and it was delish - the dressing is not my favorite but at this point in my vacation, I was just grateful for a fresh salad.

I love how this place sells pizza by the slice. Amazing! I tried it, and it met all my pizza expectations. I went back two days later, and once again, the pizza was fantastic. The staff is so friendly--I can't wait to return. We sat by the patio, and let me tell you, it's giving total LA vibes.

Was waiting for Aroma Cafe order and walked here on a whim. Best pizza slice ever! Crust was perfection. Ingredients screams fresh and super yummy. Hot oil omg my mouth! Soo good Got a Levante take out. The truffle patte can me smelled through the box! Flavor not overpowering, fresh cheese! Great prosciutto slices, generous amount of mushroom! Will come back to try other flavors

Love the quick service window concept. There is also plenty of seating to eat with your friends. Wish they stayed open later. I usually get my pizza craving much later into the night. Street parking, no restroom, but friendly staff.

Our favorite is the LBK pizza. It has Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Speck, Fresh Ricotta, Black Truffle Pate and taste delicious. Try it!

Been wanting to try LBK for a while now and so happy I finally had the chance today! There is a window where you walk up and order from the menu posted on the wall and they bring you out your order soon after. The blonde girl at the front was kind enough to recommend the LBK pizza and finocchio salad which were both soo delicious! She even offered me a slice of margherita on the house when I mentioned I had a toddler at home-such a sweet gesture from the staff that makes it easy to return, especially with how delicious the pizza was!! I can't wait to come back and try more!

Came here on accident as an appetizer while waiting for some friends before dinner. We saw there was another pizza shop across the street but the by the slice sign drew us in. 10/10 pizza. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy and the cheese to sauce ratio was just right. Friendly service and relaxing outdoor seating to enjoy your delicious pizza. Would come back again

Ordered a couple pies for a recent fight night. Limited outdoor seating only. Metered street parking. Easy access with plenty of side streets. Great reputation. Ordered the Arugola and the Alessia. Both are amazing. Great char and crunch on the crust. Make sure you get the chili oil for added awesomeness. You get what you pay for so there's a reason pricing is higher than the average. Better than average pizza, well worth a try. To get the full effect, grab a table and eat there. Fresh is beat.

Very Yummy New york styled pizza ! I love the vibe of this place & the pizza is great. I ordered 2 slices & enjoyed them both! The staff was also very friendly!

Our favorite is the Diavola pizza - its rustic, wood fired, and has just the right amount of spice with the spicy salami. The restaurant frequently sends out coupons for desert or pizza deals, make sure to try the Nutella zepolle - they are delectably fried and tossed in sugar. Very friendly staff who always make sure to get your pizza to you on time.

So few places sell pizza by the slice, but LBK does. More than that, they're super delicious, light, thin, crispy (but not hard) crust and flavorful toppings--good sauce, cheese and whatever else you choose. Pizza is ready in a minute and you can stand outside (just like in Venice, Italy) or sit at one of the shades outdoor tables. If you like traditional thin crust Neapolitan, I can recommend LBK!

Top two pie shops in Tujunga Village! My cat and my family is obsessed with the LBK PIE.....They gobble it down the minute I open the box. Crispy crust and creamy ricotta drizzled in truffle bits....oh baby! I'm over the moon and back for the salads and sauce. Even the most finicky feline will not only love this pizza but the box is an extra added bonus for hours of fun too!

The ambiance is rustic and lay back which is perfect for rush hour service or quick bite at lunch. Their board menu specifically focuses on PIZZA!!!! From the air light dough, sweet sauce, pools of bubbly mozzarella cheese and fresh topping Thai pizza is insanely good! Two people can finish a large pie with no problem because the it's not hush good but delicious. Every bite you take transports you to Napoli. I have had pizzas from all kinds of places and some have been better than others but this one wins my #1 top spot! Pricey and super scant on the toppings. The sauce is super watery and really detracts from the pie as a whole. The only redeeming thing is the crust, they got that on point!

Second time Ive found long graying hair/not edible matter in my Diavola pizza slice. Thought first time it might not happen again. Went a few weeks later and same thing.

Convenient and easy - love that you can walk up and grab a slice or two if you want a quick meal or are enjoying the rest of the street (great vibe) with a slice on the go. Always good food and polite service!

Would I come back here again? Probably not unless I was meeting someone close by or found myself in the neighborhood. Mostly because of: Small slices. LA flavor NOT NY or CHI. Took way too long for one measly slice. There are other places within reason that are WAY better (which I won't name here). Maybe I'll try it again but honestly probably not.

Cute, fast spot for good pizza. Food is ordered at the window and there is limited outdoor seating and no indoor seating. Pizza is sold by the slice which is convenient as well as a small and large size. One of our pizzas was upgraded to the larger size for no charge, so a point for the service!

This is a really fun neighborhood pizza joint. The staff is very nice and friendly. The ambiance is quite charming. Unfortunately the pizza doesn't hold up to all this establishments other offerings. It's definitely serviceable, but just not memorable. The Margherita pizza is much better than the pepperoni or the mushroom, but all lacked flavor or substance. All in all a fun place to grab a slice, but this place won't be on a top 10 pizza list.

This place is the best. I love the pizza here, specially the LBK. I also love the Levante Pizza.

My first time coming here was when they recently had the Home Alone pop up experience. I thought that they did such a incredible job with that! I am only giving four stars because I was very disappointed that the pepperoni pizza did not have very many pepperonis. It felt like a cheese pizza that just had a few token pepperonis. The details put into the pop up were incredible. I loved the pizza delivery car & the statute. We even got to hear "Happy holidays you filthy animal" when we picked up our order. It was well organized and such a cool experience!

Decided to grab a slice after getting my juice at Kreation, surprisingly was offered a fresh and flavorful slice with unbelievable soft and crispy dough. Absolutely amazing, thank you!

I am always hesitant to leave negative reviews but the food was subpar and expensive to boot. Pizza was not bad but everything else was not good.

Really good spot that does slices, which is always appreciated. Crispy, flavorful dough, good sauce with fresh ingredients, just really tasty all around. Dude at the window was friendly and everyone was working their asses off. A busy place is a good sign. Not sure what some of these other commenters are smoking, but this is way better than most pizzerias in the valley. (Then again, some of those people also prefer gross Sbarros ripoffs and soupy "chicago-style" dumps, so I'm suspicious of their taste in pizza.) Try it for yourself! Definitely worth a stop.

I ordered the Alessia & Diavola pizzas and Nutella zeppole. The zepplole was lovely, Nutella, dough rolled in sugar, deep fried, yum. The Alessia pizza started out well, was good but, the first piece I found long black hair on, Tien the second piece as well. both pieces, yuck, gross!! I stopped eating and trying that pizza. Don't know if it was their hair (pizza maker) or it was dropped on the ground. Don't know but, do you want any type of hair in your food?! NO thanks!! Won't Oder again. Tried the diavola, didn't like, had a smell to it, like the meat wasn't good. Too bad because it looked good but, not again.

LBK is easily one of the best pizzas I have had in LA. I had the Alessia which is "mozzarella, grated parmigiano, oven-roasted mushrooms, truffle paté, burrata." The taste was excellent. The truffle taste + burrata was just great. We enjoyed eating it outside. The staff were super friendly. Parking can be tough on weekends. I am looking forward to coming back.

Ummmmm wow!!!! Hands down, the best gluten free pizza I've ever laid my hands on. It's located in the cutest little area in Studio City and our server was so nice. 100000 % recommend!

Kind of meh. They do slices but those looked like they had been sitting for quite some time. It took a while to get served and the pizza was good not great. The prices were pretty good but wouldn't come back.

They were a food booth vendor at carpenter elementary fund raising evening. I third both of the two pizza options they were serving and really enjoyed them. One was a pizza with sausage and the other was their Margarita pizza. Both were great. The crust was medium thin with a crisp outside yet still the right amount of chewy. The toppings were great and fresh. I really enjoyed their pizza.

This is my go to pizza spot in the valley now. they always have fresh ingredients and speedy service. I suggest truing anything they have. We are currently trying to try everything on their menu now, but we keep going back to anything they have with burrata it. A+ in our book!

If you squint while you're sitting at an outside table looking out at Tujunga Ave. you could be on a quaint street in Greenwich Village. LBK's pizza is a tasty NY choice without hopping a plane at LAX to the Big Apple. Given the chance, I definitely think you should but until then there's LBK Pizzeria. We enjoy stopping in for a regular slice and a root beer. You can't beat it. Their crust is delicious. Sometimes it's a DoorDash night and we order their pizza with truffle oil on it. Plus, two orders of their meatballs which are yummy. Their sauce is so good. Be sure to sop it up with your pizza crust. There are three picnic-style tables out front and a few stools at an outdoor counter you can sit and eat at. There are a couple of stools inside scooted up to a counter but it feels cramped to sit at them. We always opt for outside. Bussing and cleaning tables is lacking. They do need to step up their game in this area. I've been there several times where tables are dirty and leftover pizza on silver pizza trays are still on the tables from previous patrons. All in all, thankful LBK Pizzeria opened on Tujunga in Studio City. I hope they're there a long time.

AMAZING PIZZA, AWESOME PEOPLE! Truly, a winning combination! Tired of the traditional greasy, cheesy pizza? If you are, then head out to this newly opened pizzeria owned by the team behind Luzzo's LBK from Brooklyn, New York. Located across Aroma in the Tujunga Village in Studio City, the tiny shop has no indoor seating but there are a few bar and patio seating in front of the store. Pizzas are available in 12-inch or 16-inch sizes but if you want to try several flavors, you can buy a slice for $3. I dropped by during the Super Bowl Sunday. I already expected for them to be really busy with orders so I knew beforehand that there'll be a wait. When I arrived, I was greeted right away. You can literally see the staff working hard on big orders at the back of the counter. As busy as they were, they were still ready to flash their big smiles and accommodate every customer who came in. I had the chance to meet Sean who was busy shuffling from making pizza in the kitchen, to cleaning tables and chairs, to chatting with customers. Soon I found out he's one of the owners. No wonder that staff were as friendly as the owner. I had the Alessia with mozzarella, grated parmigiano, oven-rusted mushrooms, truffle Pate, and burrata. The wait was a lot less than I already anticipated. I was expecting the same greasy pizza I got accustomed to so I was very surprised to see a light and healthy looking pizza served to me. How was it though? It was AMAZING! I've never had a pizza like this ever before, most especially the crust. I don't know what's their secret although I saw them making the dough from scratch. I believe that this is the main reason why they quickly became everyone's favorite pizzeria. Usually I could eat only a slice or two because pizza easily bore me but I even surprised myself when I ate five slices in one sitting. It was that good! It's definitely as light and as healthy as it looked. I highly recommend this place and you can thank me later.

When I saw a "Truffle Pate" option on the menu, I knew I had to try this spot for some of it. Ordered the Levante Pizza: Truffle pate, burrata, prosciutto, mushrooms, and basil. If you're looking for a lighter pizza than this is the one for you. It's delicious! Their spicy oil sauce on the side has such a divine kick! It is a bit heavy, I mean there is no such thing as a light pizza even by the slice, however every so often it is completely worth it!

Underrated little spot in the heart of studio city, a freakin gem that I wish had expanded hours because I want to eat here more often! Pizza is perfect, thin crust, Italian style. Flavors are so fresh, omg, and I've never had a slice I didn't like. It's light as well, you'll eat a whole pizza meal and leave feeling great! I love the classic margarita and lbk styles with added diavola. They also take Covid seriously, and the establishment is very clean. I'd 100 percent be back.

I loved this place. It was a legit fusion between New York pizza and the tradition of Naples. Something changed though. I have been eating their pizza since they opened. The last few times , rather than the lite, delicate , thin and naturally fermented pizza dough , I ate something that resembled cardboard and rubber. Thick, spongy, crumbly bread. Not pizza dough. If it is legit pizza dough they're doing something horribly wrong. The flavor combos and toppings were still good. It's disappointing as the pizza is expensive ($56 for two pies), which was worth it when it was great. I wonder what happened.

Great local place that makes neapolitan pizza. Everything is freshly made. Ordered the Alessia tonight...omg...umami flavors from the mushrooms and truffle pate hit your nose as soon as you open the lid. You take a bite and all that deliciousness explode. You close your eyes & for a brief moment transport to heaven. Seen many families with little kids eating and hanging out. Seating is limited and tables are outside. Across the street from Aroma Cafe - metered street parking is available.

Incredible pizzas! We ordered a variety including the truffle burrata and prosciutto, as well as cheese, and meatball and onion.... All of the pizzas were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! And the hot oil they give is just incredible. What's even kinder is they gave us an extra pizza just because it's the holidays, which honestly is one of the nicest things they could do especially since we are a very large family (3 hungry boys). This is our new fav pizza spot for sure!!!!!
