"A whiff of exoticism subtly contrasts with the historic character of the Patershol district in this grand old abode. The welcoming interior sports high ceilings and works of art, without forgetting the walled courtyard - exquisite in fine weather. The dishes are visually appetising and generously presented, revealing the wide range of flavours of traditional Thai cuisine. The ingredients are fresh, steeped in rich perfumes and aromas with just the right balance of spices. A blue-chip value since 1989!" - Michelin Inspector

The food was delicious and the service was great. Staff was friendly, our order arrived quickly. The menu is a great option to try different things, I’d definitely recommend it. The yellow curry was my favourite, so so good

One of the best Thai restaurants I have tried outside Thailand. The phad thai was simply delicious! Very attentive service. We have felt very welcomed with our kid and our dog, who was offered with some fresh water.

Have been visiting this restaurant for at least 25 years with intervals of once a year due to the long distance from my hometown. Food is good , however expect adjusted to Western taste and most certainly a lot less spicy. Prices are also pretty steep when compared to other Thai resto's. Setting , atmosphere : inside can be noisy , outside is nice. Service : depends . Last time we booked a table regardless in or outside , arrived , and were escorted by the waiter to a table outside . Two minutes later we were asked to take another table. And then when ordering our food , the owner or main waitress threw to our heads in a rather unfriendly way ' when booking a table outside you have to specify this the moment you book ' . So the waiter shows us without our demand a table outside and we get a remark . Pretty unfair . Seems that the Thai way has been lost a bit here. The seafood salad was very good , but could do it with a few extra touches of crunchy details. Green curry chicken , not spicy and needs more flavors, red house wine not that good .

I do not believe this was Michelin Star (as stated by many) but Michelin Recommended (or Quality). Full course is the way to do it here. From Start to Finish it was balanced meal. They love lemongrass and so do I.

I was pleasantly surprised to know that this is a michelin star restaurant. Wasn't at all pricey for that Michelin star brand. Located right in the centre of Gent, this place was full on a Wednesday night. So much so, that we couldn't get any seating place outside. We ordered Mai tai and beer to start with it along with scampi wrapped in bacon. That was definitely a new combination for me. The sauce definitely elevated this dish. For main course, we got a Fried Dorade with a chilli and garlic sauce and a chicken stew with green curry! The highlight of the dinner was Fried dorade for me. It was crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The sauce was again delicious! Ordered our dishes spicy🌶️🌶️ and we did get it spicy enough🥵🥵 Just a super busy kitchen, so it took quite some time for our main course to come. We were waiting for almost 30-45 minutes for our meal. But would definitely love to visit this place again🤩🤩 Follow @masala_rush for more 👩‍🍳🍲🍕

We recently dined at the new Thai restaurant in Ghent and were thoroughly impressed! The dishes were delicious, and all of my friends left satisfied. Its central location in Ghent makes it easily accessible for locals and tourists alike. However, while the food was top-notch, we felt that the internal design could be enhanced to create a more inviting dining atmosphere. Nevertheless, it’s definitely worth a visit for the excellent Thai cuisine and overall satisfying experience.

Very tasty food in a nice location and with a great service. The curries are spectacular. So was the lemon grass soup. Pad Thai is ok, but could be tastier. Great selection of drinks. Very recommendable.
