We had a wonderful lunch here. The chicken and fries were tasty and unbelievable value. The lemon meringue pie was incredible. The best I’ve ever had. Lunch was amazing and very good value. I wish I could return. There are some bad reviews here related to not speaking English. I don’t understand- you are visiting France! If you are polite and make an effort to use a bit of French (even use Google Translate) you will not have any problems. The staff and professional and friendly if you try.

Tasty, fresh and affordable, poulet frites €6.86 price has never changed. They don’t speak much English so be prepared for that. Good for a quiet dine. Too good we started eating before the camera did🤣 the sauce was also good, tangy and vinegary.

My partner saw this place thanks to Mac DeMarco and wanted to be here. Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy the delicious chicken, fries and gravy just for €6.86! The service was very fast, the place is very small and it is very busy, but we enjoyed our quick bite at this cozy place.

Local restaurant with the feel of home. Although they don’t speak much English, they did their best to accommodate me and my family. They made sure I ate properly, insisting that I wait till after lunch to have my chocolat chaud with dessert, because that’s proper. The poulet frite was good, but not the best I’ve had in Paris. The lemon meringue pie was great! The ambiance and service made it worth the trip. The price for 5 plates, 2 desserts, and 1 hot chocolate was €50.

A must try if you happen to be in this neighborhood. Of course try their traditional roast chicken with French fries. A rare little gems, affordable, authentic and … simple / rustic good food ! I will come back.

What an amazing little jem this place is for breakfast. Me and my partner found the bar on our last day for breakfast. Nice, simple and French, baguette with jam, croissant, pain au chocolat, fresh coffee, and fresher orange juice. The pastries and baguettes were so fresh, straight from the bakeries bag. The owner was great, and although there was a small language barrier, he was so accommodating. When next in paris, I'll definitely be here for dinner.

You know, this place is truly amazing. What a treat. You know all the hype sometimes can lead to a disappointment but NOT HERE. That chicken with the fries and the chicken sauce gently on the meat the travels to the fries….wow, just wow. The man who waited on us is a star. So kind. Me and my I need a carafe of water and Ice, my two cokes with ice. Everything with a cool vibe for us. Told us whats best. And was. The dessert was crazy with raspberries on top of this tart thing. So nice. I even broke an ashtray and he was like whatever but after the meal I went to the store and bought another one and brought it to him. Was the right thing to do. He was smiling about and I well, got to say GO THERE! That lunch was amazing. And the price cannot be beat! So thanks, you brought us joy even in the rain! Many thanks and we will be back…count on it and this time I won’t break anything! Oh Paris…I am in love!

A hidden gem for sure and a definite must. It's not the easiest to get there but it is worth the visit. A place for the locals but they are welcoming to the visitors. 6.86 for chicken and fries. Amazing place. It's not fancy but definite local

Yelp
Highly recommended by friends been coming here for years. The l'emblématique poulet fermier rôti, accompagné de ses frites maison is a must. Fresh ingredients, simple homemade dish from the original secret recipes. The Lavazza coffee is also one of the best I've had in a while. Spectacular wines as well. They open at noon. I came on a Saturday around 12:20pm and there was already a line though they do take reservations. The owners are extremely friendly and make sure you feel like home.
