The 24 Best Restaurants In Lyon - Lyon - The Infatuation

"How to do a trip to Bieristan right: Make a reservation for their weekly changing three-course lunch, or just drop by anytime in the evening when this place really turns into a vibe. You’ll hear live music, or a human beat box, or participate in a pub quiz, while you chill out back on the patio and hang with the friendly crowd. There’s a massive selection of draft beer from local breweries that changes almost daily, but all they serve in the evening is flammekueche, a flatbread from the Alsace region that’s similar to a thin, crispy pizza. The one topped with Morbier cheese, a soft, sweet, and slightly elastic cow’s variety, has a divinely equal ratio of dairy to dough." - anna richards

Lovely bar offering a wide selection of beers and flammekueche. Such a cozy place with a little garden where you can sit and enjoy your drink/meal. Definitely worth a visit !

Characterful place in converted premises in the Villeurbanne area. Very good beer selection as the name suggests.

The place has a really nice vibe. Great for groups, live music and a young and bubbly crowd. The staff are very friendly and took time to explain the options. Great range of beers and ales, as well as wine. Doesn't seem much from the outside but go in and you will enjoy it, especially the beer garden. Worth a visit for sure!

Very convenient location, awesome selection of French craft beers. Also, staff speaks good English. There is a 1 euro deposit for the glass.

General: Pretty cool place, music was good but no room to move around or turn into dance floor. Room for improvement: Layout needs some work imo. For the drinks: I had the ikebana which was super tasty beer, Blonde 6° , I couldn't bring myself to try another one I enjoyed it that much! Poor selection of whiskeys but it's a beer bar so to be expected. I'd recommend to a friend for sure :)

Nice enough hipster place, a bit crowded and on a dingy side street. Prices are high & beers were average to me. I also found the need to pay a deposit for basic pint glasses to be silly. Had to sit outside in freezing cold due to inside full. Very slow in taking orders. Could be nice in summer

Looking for an authentic place and great options as far as local beers goes? Look no further, this place is the perfect spot! Friendly staff, great beer (and food 😍) in a gorgeous building, you couldn't ask for more!

Yelp
Amazing beer, great ambiance, and super friendly staff! All their beers come from lyon and are delcious. There are descriptions of the beer with alcohol % and the prices on chalkboards along the wall. The beers are extremely cheap in comparison to most places in Lyon where you automatically pay 7 € for a pint of Leffe. They have a super cute patio out back as well and when we went there was live music! Also, you can take your pint glass home with you for only 1 €!
