14 Essential Knox-Henderson Restaurants

"For lunch or dinner, this neighborhood restaurant, exported from New York City, is a solid choice. Obviously the menu leans into French cooking, but there are a load of American comfort food staples as well, served in an elevated style. One hot tip is to consider the soup of the day — each is made fresh and rotates out regularly." - Courtney E. Smith, Amy McCarthy

"This classic French bistro is wonderfully familiar (probably because it’s exactly like the original in New York). You’ll find the same classics, like chicken paillard, steak frites, and saffron-infused mussels—it’s both reassuring and delicious, though the crowd is what makes it fun."

I had a birthday gathering at Le Bilboquet. Our party size was 10 individuals. We overall enjoyed the food, but wish that the menu was a little more true to French food. I enjoyed the steak and potatoes dish and ordered the lemon tart. The service was good and attentive. The restaurant was crowded in terms of space and people, which made it difficult to navigate at times. I would love to return for a dinner service to try the food.

Our party of 5 booked a table on the patio when we were in Dallas in early May. The dirty martinis were superb and our server, Patrick could not have been more helpful and attentive. Crab salad is not to be missed and every entree from fish to steak to veal was outstanding! When I had a hiccup with my entree (vegetables had a bad taste) Patrick and the manager were all over it and made up for it all. Will definitely return! 11/10

Google
A great meal served by an attentive and kind staff. Seating was cozy and comfortable. Ambiance was coastal outdoors and more elegant indoors. The crab and avacado salad was a surprising hit of flavor. Cajun chicken was superb. The chocolate mousse finished the meal on a high note. A top 10 spot for Dallas.

Google
The setting was absolutely darling. Sunday brunch was delicious! Got the French toast and salmon egg benedict. Both were amazing! Service was wonderful! Had three different servers checking in on us. Very attentive. Food and drinks were brought out at a reasonable time. Definitely will visit again.

Google
The place is very cute but that’s about it, the food was very bland and boring. We ordered a good variety off the menu and it was all blah not worth the price. Service was okay nothing crazy I ordered a mocktail that was 99% ice and it was $10 but the place itself was cute.

Google
Lovely little spot. Parking lot across the street with plenty of parking spots. The hostess, I believe, is also the owner and she is French. Loved her accent. The food was beautifully plated and wonderful French traditional cuisine. There's a little side patio that is enclosed and is the perfect spot for great conversation and people watching.

Google
I went for the Valentine's Day prix fixe menu which meant the inside was absolutely gorgeous! I ordered the tuna tartare and lobster risotto while my boyfriend ordered the escargot and halibut. Both of us loved our meals! No complaints about service either. All around great food, service, and atmosphere.

You gotta love a nice neighborhood spot. This is an awesome French bistro with perfect cocktails, lovely service and great food. Perfect for birthdays, a night out, or to celebrate an anniversary.

Yelp
We decided to stop by for an early dinner before a show on a Saturday night. Upon arrival, we were seated right away, which was a pleasant start. However, the indoor ambiance left something to be desired--what once felt classy now feels a bit dated and in need of a refresh. The highlight of our experience was definitely the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. To start, I had the goat cheese salad. The crisp frisée paired perfectly with the warm, fried goat cheese. For my main course, I opted for the small steak tartare, which turned out to be more than enough. The tartare was well-seasoned, and the accompanying fries and bread made it a satisfying and enjoyable meal. While the food and service were both commendable, I couldn't help but feel that the prices were a bit on the steep side for what was offered. Overall, it was a good dining experience, but the value proposition might need a little tweaking.

Yelp
Had an absolutely wonderful time at Le Bilboquet for a weekend brunch with some girlfriends! A few things to keep in mind for your visit: Be sure to make a reservation in advance as it tends to get pretty busy. Parking is valet only but as it is in Knox Henderson finding other parking shouldn't be an issue! The food was absolutely incredible. The meal started with the fluffiest bread with the most delicious, yet simple bread. I got a regular latte, and while unfortunately they don't have any syrups to spicy up the drinks, the latte itself was all good. I got the Cajun Chicken and I would 12/10 go back just to get it again. The cream sauce with the chicken was an absolute delight to eat! The decor is very minimal but quite tasteful and elegant. Definitely a fancier brunch experience but treat yourself! I am definitely looking forward to going back!

Yelp
Sunday brunch at Le Bilboquet after Highland Park Baculurate. The venue is what I call soft elegance, quaint, with the expected French motif. We selected tuna tartare and smoked salmon for appetizers. We enjoyed both, but I thought the smoked salmon was the better of the two. For our mains, Jan ordered the Cajun chicken, which was delicious. I had eggs Le Bilboquet or in simpler terms, biscuits and gravey with eggs. The gravey was made with duck confit. It was good and the presentation was nice. I equate good with OK, and I was hopping for better than OK. In summary, it's a nice upscale restaurant. The seating is a bit tight and it's mild noisy. The service was excellent.

Yelp
Candle-lit dinners are so romantic. Might be a little too dark though. Tables are very close together. I was reminded that I'm not the biggest fan of French cuisine. My steak knife wasn't very sharp. Took extra effort to cut my steak.
google avatar

Cactus G.

Yelp
The food was very basic for a higher price and not many options of food with only 3 categories listed on the menus service was slow even when the restaurant was not very full (I see why) the decor was very very basic and the smell of smoke was very strong would not recommend this restaurant which makes me sad because French cuisine is one of my favorites such a letdown!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service absolutely killed it. The Staff seriously know what they're doing both in front and back of house. This is an excellent "date night" choice.

Yelp
We stopped in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch. Service was exceptional and the food was amazing. We plan to come back for a date night.

Yelp
The atmosphere and ambiance are perfect. You almost feel like you are in Paris. Kind of a pet peeve of mine is that we had early reservations and walked into a near empty restaurant, yet we were seated next to a post. Not a great first impression. I just get tired of restaurants like this who try and fill the worst tables first. I shouldn't have to ask to be seated in the best available table. Service from the bar was noticeably slow. It was also expensive - $28 for a shot of MacAllen 12 on the rock? Multiply that by about 2 and you can have a bottle. Similarly, the wines by the glass seemed too pricey (mid 20s). Nothing from the Bordeaux region by the glass unfortunately. Other than the wait on drinks before and during our meal, service was friendly, helpful and attentive. Began with the country pate and the special gazpacho. The pate was ok, but we should have ordered the foie gras. Similarly, the gazpacho was not bad, but I have had better and would have preferred less oil. Entrees were the highlight, exceptional, and very reasonably priced. The Roasted half chicken was delicious and so perfectly prepared. My wife took half of it home. The Filet au Poivre was also perfectly prepared. The filet was tender, juicy, and had a great flavor. The accompanying fries were crisp and delicious. I highly recommend both of these entrees! In a French restaurant, dessert is a must. My better half chose the crustless apple crisp (cannot recall the name) with a small scoop of ice cream. She loved it. It was fine in my opinion, but I would try another option next time. Note: Valet parking ($7) is not complimentary for lunch or dinner and there really isn't available street parking. Not sure that makes a difference but FYI.

Yelp
Oh La Bilboquet...where have you been all my life? This is the quintessential "ladies who lunch" place, but certainly not limited to that demographic. The lunch menu is interesting and varied. I love it when there are so many good options that it is hard to make a decision. We started with the escargot and the were garlic-y and tasty! I had the trout with green beans and it was so, so good. My mom had the chicken paillard and it was equally as wonderful. My mom was post-surgery and I had to return to work...we stuck to iced tea, but this is definitely a place for a long lunch and a glass wine. Next time!

Yelp
Excellent spot for patio dinner, the Cajun chicken was a hit with our group, and the moules frites serve as a great appetizer. The mushroom risotto was light and flavorful and the veal scallopini deli is as well. Their service is top of the line. You can't go wrong with anything here, try to make a visit to experience the patio while it's not too hot.
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed Sunday brunch with girlfriends. Service and food were excellent! We were seated in the last table on the enclosed patio and since it was such a hot summer day, they provided individual fans to each of us positioned in front of our personal place settings. It kept the meal cool and pleasant. I enjoyed the chicken paillard with arugula, sundried tomatoes and shaved parmesan on top. It was quite a flavorful dish! Servers were on point meeting our needs. I would like to give 5 stars, but I had no sense of the restaurant's ambiance since I was last to join our group and seated with my back to the rest of the patio and restaurant. It was very crowded when we got up to leave so all I could tell was that the restaurant was small. Would definitely like to try again and perhaps not sit on the patio next time. Valet parking was easy and $5 on a Sunday.

Yelp
We loved our dinner at Le Bilboquet - the service and food was exceptional! The beet salad and tomato and mozzarella salad were excellent starters. The signature Cajun chicken with French fries was phenomenal. Salmon, too, was cooked to perfection. Le Bilboquet has an extensive wine list. Servers are knowledgeable and provide great service. Highly impressed and look forward to returning on our next visit to Dallas.

Yelp
Delicious food with exquisite service and a breath taking atmosphere. Starting with the hostess (Dez), then the amazing server (Patrick) the meal was amazing. The smoked salmon appetizer was "chef's kiss", the eggs were perfectly cooked and to end it all with probably the best lemon tart I have ever had was a delight! Oh and the crème brûlée was top notch as well! Will be returning soon and this restaurant will be on our top five for places to dine at

Yelp
As a loyal patron of Le Bilboquet for numerous years, I can confidently say that this restaurant never fails to impress. Despite its smaller size, it holds a prime location in the enchanting Knox and Henderson area. The menu boasts an extensive selection of traditional French delicacies that will wow you. I have personally indulged in many of their menu items and my favorites are the delectable beef carpaccio, unique foie gras, and exquisite steak tartare. Each dish possesses its own unique charm and serves as a nice start to the main course. However, my absolute favorite has to be the mushroom risotto- a true staple to Le Bilboquet. The dish is so exception that it can even be savored as a side accompaniment to your main entree. The main course menu has an array of different options but I must mention the succulent veal chop which is very rich in flavor. It is worth noting, though, that the portion size is quite generous, so be mindful not to overindulge in appetizers and leave room for this great dish. For those seeking a fail-proof option, the dover sole is my go-to recommendation. Consistently delightful, this classic choice never disappoints. Le Bilboquet continues to meet if not exceed expectations with consistently impressive offerings. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner date night or a family affair, this gem of a restaurant will transport you to the heart of French cuisine.

Yelp
Le Bilboquet is our favorite special event spot. At the base of Highland Park, it is lovely and inviting. The staff is so kind, friendly and accommodating. Our wine and food were fabulous. The weather was so lovely, they had all the windows open, as an open-air restaurant. I'm so sad I forgot our server's name, as she was super sweet and helpful. We loved her. We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and the whole team made us feel very special. We highly recommend Le Bilboquet!
google avatar

Fran M.

Yelp
Asked why bill had an extra charge. Was for using a credit card. I know this type of charge is becoming more common. But at this price point, the restaurant is already making lots of money.
google avatar

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Beautiful Ambience! Roses on white tablecloths. Gentle breeze through their opened windows. Dressed to the nines doesn't feel out of place. Soft Flavors! Including all the lunches and brunches tried; this time, perfectly poached were my eggs in a gentle tomato sauce was my "Shakshuka". Pleasant Service! Usually impeccable attentions given. Yet, when there are big parties in place, it's extremely slow. CHEERS!

Yelp
In the labyrinthine heart of Knox/Henderson lies Le Bilboquet, an emblematic bastion of French gastronomy that beckons those with discerning palates and deep pockets. This lively establishment, bedecked with the aristocracy of neighboring Highland Park, offers a symphony of flavors that, while not scaling the summit of culinary brilliance, still manages to entice the taste buds with its expertly-crafted dishes. Prepare your wallet for a fiscally harrowing expedition, as Le Bilboquet commands top dollar for its gourmet fare. The appetizers, priced between $16 and $30, serve as a harbinger of the financial tempest to come. It's a wonder the restaurant doesn't require an advance deposit to sample the hybrid Petrossian caviar dish, tagged at a staggering $460. Ah, the joys of dining in the realm of the haute bourgeoisie! But let us not allow the pecuniary tribulations to overshadow the culinary offerings. The foie gras, a celestial blend of decadence and pangs of conscience, arrives with an air of self-assured grandeur. Its buttery richness dances on the tongue, leaving one simultaneously intoxicated and guilt-ridden. For the goat cheese aficionado, the standout starter unveils itself as a revelation of tangy delight. Its creamy texture is tempered by the sharp bite of goat's milk, creating a harmonious yin and yang on the palate. This cheese, a testament to the dedication of the fromager, evokes the bucolic charms of a sun-drenched French countryside. The mains, regally ranging from $38 to over $65, present a procession of flavors that, while not mind-bending, manage to captivate the discerning connoisseur's senses. The dover sole is prepared with a deft hand. Its tender flesh yields effortlessly, surrendering to the diner's eager fork in a balance of flavors that sings a melodious wild-caught ode to the bounty of the ocean. Meanwhile, the filet au poivre, a quintessential French classic, pays homage to the glories of bovine indulgence. The tender beef, adorned with a peppercorn symphony, invites the senses on an aromatic expedition. Each bite, a testament to the skilled hands in the kitchen, elicits a chorus of gustatory delight. As the culinary charade unfolds, the service at Le Bilboquet shines like a guiding star. The staff, embodying the spirit of refined hospitality, exude an air of attentive kindness. They piroeutte nimbly between tables, ensuring every diner's needs are met with grace and precision. It is a delicate ballet of service, leaving one feeling both pampered and indebted. The ambiance here is elegant yet just frenetic enough to be interesting. When the nicer weather hits there is abundant al fresco seating available. In the realm of Le Bilboquet, where French culinary traditions intermingle with the deep pockets of Big D's most privileged, one encounters a gastronomic sojourn that, while not yielding profound revelations, delivers an overall delightful experience. Indulge, but beware the cost. For in this enclave of culinary grandeur, every distinctive bite comes with a price that may induce an existential crisis.

Yelp
Great service! We had meetings early the next day, so we didn't order drinks. But the glasses always remained full without ever having to ask. Our server heard me mention my girlfriend's birthday and went the extra mile by putting a sparkler on the dessert - very nice touch! Entrées seemed pricey but the quality was excellent. I had the duck, which was more than enough for me. The chef did a superb job of pairing the vegetables with the duck so each combination was a great flavor - excellent meal!
google avatar

Hooshang G.

Yelp
Nothing really to write about. Cute little place but the food was just meh! Date night wasn't a success. Similar to small bistros you see in Paris as it was cozy, but food did not meet our expectations. We may try them for brunch and might change our review at a later date.
google avatar

Elena S.

Yelp
This restaurant exceeded all my expectations and it was amazing! Highly recommend. I went for lunch but I would assume all their meals are great. I had the cajun chicken lunch. It came with fries and a side salad. It was very reasonably priced and was absolutely delicious. All of the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The location is great. There is plenty of free parking across the street or in the garage. They also have a valet that is reasonable.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Never Again. Awful hot day and the AC barely working. Older couple seated near us almost sick from the heat. My food was ok, crab and avocado salad and lobster pasta; however my wife's halibut had an awful pungent smell that made me almost gag. We passed on the dessert menu so we could get home and cool down. Dinner ruined by the heat, flies and smell. Save your time and money and go to one of the other great restaurants in the area: Toulouse, Origin, Doce Mesas or Sachet.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Wonderful service and exquisite food...this gorgeous restaurant is in Knox Henderson. With valet parking for $5 - don't waste your time searching for a parking spot. My group had the branzino (comes with delicious veggies), the scallops, and the lobster pasta. Raves around the table. Definitely make a reservation - a full house on a Tuesday evening! Don't miss this neighborhood gem with top notch service.
google avatar

Adrien S.

Yelp
Great service, great food, great restaurant in general! The ambiance is really great as well. The only reason I took off one star is due to the fact that it's way too loud in the restaurant. You can barely hear yourself and others at your table without raising your voice a good amount. Other than that, 10/10, highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Dallas and looking for a good French place.

Chris Z.

Yelp
The food, service and vibe at Le Bilboquet is completely on point. Our server Ameer was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great suggestions for every course of the meal. For Appetizers we tried the warm goat cheese salad and the Salmon tartare. Both were above expectations! For entrees I had the Dover sole and my date had the rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the fish was mild and flavorful. We met the bartender Edgar and he was more than happy to prepare us handcrafted cocktails. We asked him to surprise us and we ended up with a Mezcal cocktail that was 10/10. The GM Kaveh checked on us twice and it's obvious he's running a veteran crew that knows what they're doing. We'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Daniel O.

Yelp
Impeccable everything. The attention they give each dish is above and beyond. They had a cassoulet special that was wonderful. Duck Confit. House made sausage. Braised smoked pork belly. Every ingredient was allowed to shine. Don't skip the appetizers either. The asparagus with dijonnaise and shaved egg was blanched and dressed perfectly, and the mushroom risotto is the platonic ideal, accented with generous shavings of sharp pungent cheese. We also had the veal scallopini and the house-made Angel hair with lobster (lightly sauced with lemon and white wine- another absolute hit). The wine list is also, like everything else, superb. If you're out to impress, this is a great experience.

Yelp
This is a long review because there was a lot to like about this place. Our group meets once a month to try different places for brunch and we have high expectations. 1. First thing is the location. Knox street is one of the most walkable and dense neighborhoods in Dallas. So you got to have valet parking and Le Bilboquet has valet parking. Nuff said. 2. We are always a party of six , so the place must be able to accommodate our size. Upon arrival we saw 4 tables with parties our size or larger which is another plus. 3. Sunday brunches are generally a female focus hour since many guys are watching football. This place was no exception. 4. This is a bistro style restaurant, kind of small with a welcoming patio. The wall where we were seated has a folding window that opens onto the outside patio so this place is quite pretty. The focus of this place is on their food. Their bar is quite small. 5. I picked this place because I reviewed the menu and knew everyone in our group would like it. The prices were very competitive with other places we have been to for brunch. Average price is about $25 pp without liquor. 6. Everyone ordered something different on the menu from pancakes, French toast , eggs Benedict, avocado and crab salad , etc. The salad needed some greenery but the waiter brought a house salad to complement it. The big things is that everyone said they would order their food again based on the quality and quantity. 7. I rated our service a "10". Our waiter was attentive and responsive and he had a couple of other tables to manage. 8. I forgot to mention that they provided us a large chocolate mousse dessert to share because they thought we were celebrating something based upon the reservation comments. It was delicious. We might come back to this place sooner than expected but we have a lot more Sunday brunch places to check out.

Yelp
Lovely little spot. Parking lot across the street with plenty of parking spots. The hostess, I believe, is also the owner and she is French. Loved her accent. Yelp
A very enjoyable restaurant for a low key date night. Have the Cajun chicken. It is excellent.

Yelp
Incredible food and service as usual! My wife and I went for our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. We look forward to going back soon.

Yelp
Looking for a brunch spot! This is the place! You will not be disappointed. The welcoming beautiful ambiance is accompanied by a gentle fresh breeze from the opened windows. Came here for a birthday brunch for my dear friend. I ordered the French toast, it was a crisp golden brown with fresh berries, served with whipped cream and syrup. My friend ate the blueberry pancakes which were fluffy and delicious. Perfect breakfast comfort food!

Yelp
We needed a place to eat for Christmas Eve since our kitchen had some issues. I booked Le Bilboquet last minute and it did not disappoint. For Christmas it was a Prix Fixe menu but the food was amazing. The mushroom soup, escargot, petite filet, and desserts were amazing. Overall, everything was great, including the service. We will definitely be back again.
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of dining here last night. The duck confit a l'orange was excellent. I highly recommend it. We started with some escargot, which was equally good, and they serve a pretty fine old fashioned as well. The price is what you'd expect from a French bistro in Uptown, but the service was commensurate. A good place to go if you want to impress someone, or for a special occasion.
google avatar

Anthony G.

Yelp
Thinking this would be a great spot for a birthday lunch My wife took me here for a bite to eat. Ordered a Greek salad with no lettuce and mostly tomato and watermelon. Asked for some lettuce to eat with a so called salad and was charged afterwards for the lettuce $11 not a great value and food is just okay. The service is the only saving grace. So no Happy Birthday lunch for me... thanks for the memories I'll be sure not to come back and I will let all I run into know to avoid your location since there are much better options all around you.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Came for Christmas brunch with a pre-fixe menu. Why I definitely appreciate that no one probably wants to work on Christmas, the service was very slow. They also didn't have the lobster roll which was on the very limited menu. For $70 a person, and app and a burger didn't quite meet the mark. Fortunately the rest of the food was good, but overall it was a very mixed experience.
google avatar

Alexis M.

Yelp
I came for brunch here on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 8. The restaurant definitely reminds me of a French establishment with the decor being white and bright and even the style of chairs. The hostess greeted me and showed me to our table. Our group was smooshed into a corner table and it was uncomfortable. I thought to complain but after looking around I saw everyone was smooshed somewhere. The wait staff were squeezing in between tables and chairs. They need to take out at least three tables for the comfort of the guests. For drinks I got a Bellini and it was not memorable. So nothing to report there. I ordered the French toast and it comes with fruit and marscapone creme and a little bit of syrup. The French toast was really fluffy and had crispy edges. The flavor of custard they used was really good and not too sweet. Overall it was an average meal. Nothing bad and nothing outstanding.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Service was not good for brunch. My friends and I made a reservation and were seated timely but the food took over one hour to come out. We had three different servers and only one of them (Julie) was hospitable. The food was good, but my friends fries were cold and stale.

Roxane W.

Yelp
I have a medical alert service dog who has the highest certification in the world, Assistance Dogs International and has all the rights of a seeing eye dog!! The manager who refused to give me his name would not allow my service dog in the restaurant, but put us in the hot annex " garden room". This is the an absolute form of discrimination and against the LAW!!! You cannot make someone sit in an inferior room because of requiring a service dog!! Furthermore, my dog has been in the main dining room probably 15 times with no complaints, as well as Le Bilboquet in NYC many, many times and Palm Beach and the Hamptons and has eaten in more Michelin stared restaurants around the world than I can count!! Stephan the owner refused to come and speak with me in spite of the manager promising that he was on his way...he didn't show for two hours!! Horrible experience and extremely disrespectful and unfair!! Obviously awful ambiance and ok food..the waiter was fine...the manager was rude!!! Unbelievably BAD!!!!

Yelp
Love love love the ambiance here!! If you've ever been to the IVY in LA, then you'll definitely love this place! It has the picture perfect patio area with the green foliage in against the walls and then views of uptown Dallas. Service: I came here for my sister's bday with a party of 5 on a Sunday around 11am. I had made my reservations through opentable requesting for outdoor seating in the garden area, even though you usually need a larger party to reserve the garden room. I was contacted by Lauren about my reservation, and she made sure I would get outdoor seating for my party. I originally had my reservations for a friday night dinner, but she was able to change my reservations multiple times ( timing and number of guests kept changing) to make sure I would be completely satisfied! Everything was perfect!!! 5/5 for service Ambiance: This place is LEGIT! Come here for brunch, dinner, lunch and you'll enjoy french decor of this place. It's great for small parties or even larger parties, but just make sure to make reservations. I came during brunch, and even though the place was pretty much full, I didn't feel it was too loud or anything, so yay! 5/5 Food: I ordered a latte with vanilla syrup and was told the barista could make it, but when I received it, there was no vanilla in it :/ It was still good in terms of taste and texture, but I wish they could make more espresso drinks. I ordered the Brioche French Toast and it was delicious!! The portions were a little large for me so I had half of leftover, but I would def order it again. I also tried my friends Shakshuka and that was def a must try if you like eggs and potatoes! Everything was super flavorful, and all our food came out fairly quickly for being packed during brunch time! I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Absolutely so amazing!! Went for a birthday brunch and our waiter was AMAZING and sooooo fun!! His name was Kyle if you go! Great outdoor seating and very pretty. Love this place!

Yelp
Youseff & his lovely service assistant made my late lunch a very enjoyable experience. As always the kitchen provided delicious cuisine. Beef carpaccio, Branzino & Chocolate Mousse were all stellar! I accompanied with a glass of very bubbly Prosecco, delicious iced tea & rich, creamy & dreamy coffee. I always leave here impressed. Go between service for a more seren..!1!

Yelp
Le Bil is the go to birthday lunch spot and does that as well as business meetings, anniversaries and simple catch up meals all equally well. It's elegant without being fussy and doesn't have a table where you can't see the other well-healed patrons. The chicken is nearly an auto-order but the steak, the crab stack and shrimp salad are all good too. Get your reservation in early bc there is always a lot of people interested in going to this happy spot where they treat you well!

Super cute place. Pancakes are a must. They do need to acquire a kids menu though. Also outside fans would be nice for hot days.

Yelp
I loved this place! I ordered their Chicken Paillard and it was so good. The arugula salad lacked in dressing but the chicken was so delicate and cooked to perfection that I wasn't even bothered! Their mimosas are also great!

Yelp
Food was so yummy! We got steak tartar and could not stop eating it- addicting! Then I got the pork chop and there was grilled peaches and cabbage on the side- legitimately so delicious!!! I had to take the rest home to go but it reheated well. My boyfriend got the lobster pasta and it's a smaller dish but good if you want something on the lighter side

Yelp
Visited for brunch today and it has a cool ambiance and is a good place to see and be seen. There were a couple of tables having birthday parties and it was fun to see people dancing and having a great time out of their seat but also not the safest as some took their masks off or had the masks hanging off their nose/ face. Also the music was loud at one point but I still enjoyed it. Ate the Eggs Florentine and was somewhat satisfied. It was tasty but really small and not a lot of potatoes on the side with a small bed of lettuce as a side salad. I was still hungry afterwards which is the worst feeling. Our service was great and cool / happy vibe with very friendly staff but I rated 3 stars based on the whole experience and food quality / portion size wasn't up to par considering the super expensive cost. Granted my friend and I had a couple drinks, it was about $160 before tip which is way too high and especially for brunch. I don't know what dinner is like but I wouldn't rush back unless I wanted to swing by for a drink.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated immediately. It's a cute restaurant with a nice outdoor patio. We ordered the shakshuka and chicken sandwich for our meals. I was not very impressed with the shakshuka. There wasn't much flavor to the tomato sauce and the bread was too charred for my liking. However, the chicken sandwich was pretty good! The chicken was flavored well and was soft and tender. Overall, I felt like the food was not as good as I had hoped but the ambiance was nice!

Yelp
I was here for a client dinner and had the Cajun chicken. I was SHOCKED that the chicken was seasoned, tender and flavorful. That is always my number 1 worry ordering chicken from restaurants. They give you a bed of fries on top of the chicken which is interesting, but I'm sure you can ask for another side. Overall impressed with my dish and service was good. Do not care for the environment, tables with white table cloth and uncomfortable, hard chairs are not my thing.

Yelp
I so wanted this to be a five start spot, it just didn't deliver. I know this is a beloved restaurant, but our entire group thought it was just okay. First was our waiter. He seemed to be way to busy with few too tables. Scattered, forgot our drink order, and probably the worst part - I asked him if something had gluten in it (can't have it per Dr. orders) and never got a response. When I followed up the waiter replied, well if it had I would have told you. Awesome. Not the service you would expect and this highly regarded establishment. Overall the food was good. My husband and a friend both ordered the fish of the day. Friends boyfriend had the lobster pasta and devoured it! I had the bouillabaisse which was good, not great. I skipped on the dessert but hubs said it was the best thing he has that night. It was their version on a lava cake. Would I go back? Sure. Would I be crazy excited as I was this past time? Nope. Hopefully this was an exception and not the norm.
