The Best New Restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul Right Now, March 2025

"Bachelor Farmer veterans Jonathan Gans and Josh Hoyt debuted their American-expat-in-Paris-inspired burger joint in November. The menu leans into its calling card, burgers topped with everything from shaved foie gras and truffle oil to fried oyster mushrooms and melty brie. There’s also roast chicken, soft serve, pomme frites, and nicoise salad. The kid’s menu promises smaller burgers as well as scratch-made fish sticks. How demure." - Serena Maria Daniels

Recent Twin Cities Restaurant and Bar Openings | Eater Twin Cities

"Opened on Thursday, November 14 by Jonathan Gans and Josh Hoyt (formerly of Bachelor Farmer), this fast-casual spot puts the burger front and center with beef patties made from wagyu and toppings drawn from French-brasserie influences. Highlights include the La Royal (served with foie gras, Cooper brand American cheese, and black truffle aioli), entrees such as roasted chicken in velouté sauce, snacks like crudités, and salads — for example a nicoise chop salad with oil-poached tuna, romaine, green beans, potatoes, cherry tomato, chopped egg, and a tapenade dressing." - Serena Maria Daniels

Enjoyed lunch here with my sons. Place was recommended to them by a friend and it did not disappoint. Burgers were very flavorful, doneness on point and very juicy. Service was really good and fast. Nice ambience and they have an outside seating area at the back which we enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Met friends here on our quest for “The Best Burger!” It was raining but we were not deterred! So far this is The Best Burger‼️ order at the counter, be seated and your order is graciously delivered. Lovely and friendly sly service. Loved the burger but the fries art out of this world. A tasty appetizer— Gougeres. delicate and wonderful. They also have chicken but we were there for the burgers. Soft serve for dessert. It was very busy even for a rainy evening but don’t let that stop you. Grown ups can even enjoy a glass of whatever. We will definitely be back.

Cute little joint in a cute little 'hood! Order at the counter and they give you a number for your table, food is delivered. Fast and easy. Burger was good but the fries are possibly the best I've ever had; light and air but also somehow creamy... Yum! Would go back if I'm in the area!

Le Burger has become our favorite place to eat in Minneapolis! The prices are extremely good for what you get. We love the Le Burger and Le Boeuf but you really can’t go wrong with any of the burgers. The fries and aioli are also so good! Sometimes there is a line to order, but it really goes by fast and you’re seated pretty quickly after. Once seated, the food comes out quickly. Parking can be tough in this area, but we usually find street parking in the neighborhood and just have to walk a little ways.

Looking for a random spot to eat staying in the Bloomington area and when we saw this was 20 minutes away, it was an immediate yes before we even got into the car. Everything is SO delicious, creative, and intentional. The service was immaculate and the plain cold brew was great! I got the onion burger and fries, fantastic. Will definitely be back!

1st time visiting was super busy, a lil spendy, they had origami to keep you entertained while you wait, 1st come 1st serve seating. Every is A La Carte . Kids meal portion was very small for price, fries were good. Got both the LE BOEUF & Le Burger. The le boeuf was ok.. the le burger was better. Overall I’d say decent quality burgers maybe a little overhyped for the prices especially since a la carte.

A little bit too loud to enjoy myself, the le burger was okay, the beef was great and perfectly seasoned, but in my opinion, the cheese was a little too much with the burger and took away from the flavor of the beef. The onions didn’t add much to the burger, other than some stringiness in bites. The Shirley temple was 10/10 though.

Without question, one of the best burgers I've had in Minneapolis. The burger and fries were well-balanced, decadent, and extraordinarily flavorful. The employees were passionate and friendly, and it was a fantastic lunch. The L'OIGNON and the LE BOEUF are amazing! Get there early as a line often forms. A wonderful new treat in Linden Hills — I'll be back!
