It's been nearly a year since my trip to Paris, France, for a university course, and I've been longing for the delicious food I enjoyed there. This café provided the sense of nostalgia and comfort I was yearning for. Their display case was filled with beloved French pastries, and the menu resembled that of a classic French café, offering a thrilling array of selections. The café's interior was elegantly decorated, featuring chandeliers above comfortable booths and large windows that let in natural sunlight. The exterior seating area mirrored the ambiance of the various cafes in Paris.
My family and I decided to order the Eggs Benedict, smoked salmon toast, and egg croissant. The staff here were patient with us and very friendly. The Eggs Benedict came with smoked salmon, avocado, and a generous serving of hollandaise sauce, with perfectly poached eggs on top. The smoked salmon toast was accompanied by mini olives, red onions, and a well-balanced green sauce. The egg croissant contained cheese, tomatoes, and bacon, although the croissant lacked a bit of butteriness, it was delicious nonetheless. For a touch of sweetness, I opted for the mixed berries tart, reminiscent of the fruit tarts I used to enjoy from the patisserie near my apartment. The fresh berries complemented the mildly sweet custard, and the crust was beautifully made. This café provided me with a taste of France that I had been missing and is definitely worth a visit.
