The 19 Best Desserts In London - London - The Infatuation

"This Ladbroke Grove bakery’s counter is a recipe for panic buying. You’ll see the namesake choux lined up uniformly, as well as indulgent cakes and trays of cookies fresh out of the oven. Our advice for when the wafts of butter are clouding your judgement? Focus on the airy, yet firm choux in flavours like passion fruit that tastes like a Solero in a bun, or monthly specials like apple crumble that delivers comfort in two small bites. If you’re a cookie fan, get the milk chocolate and sea salt one." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

The 22 Best Bakeries In London - London - The Infatuation

"For: Choux so perfect you could wear them to Ascot We never thought we were romantics until we witnessed the marriage of apple crumble and choux at this takeaway Ladbroke Grove bakery. It’s a warming, comforting three-bite love story, and there’s a whole lot more exquisite sugar stimuli going on at Le Choux: trays of freshly baked chocolate and sea salt cookies, a curated counter of the namesake patisserie, and the ever-present whiff of butter." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager, heidi lauth beasley

Le Choux - Review - Notting Hill - London - The Infatuation

"Le Choux’s counter is a recipe for panic buying. You’ll see the namesake choux—with more fillings than you could dream of—lined up uniformly, like the curated bookshelf of someone who definitely doesn’t read. But before you reach that part of this Ladbroke Grove counter, there are indulgent cakes and trays of cookies fresh out of the oven, their wafts of butter clouding your judgement. It’s all a bit overwhelming. Our advice? Focus on the airy, yet firm choux in incredible flavours like passion fruit that tastes like a Solero in a bun, or apple crumble that delivers the comfort of the warming autumn dessert in two small bites. If you’re a cookie fan, you should also get the well-balanced milk chocolate and sea salt one. Le Choux is more of a takeaway bakery than somewhere to sit down. But there are a couple of benches out front where you can watch the bakers running around through the big windows into the kitchen. So get a couple of choux buns boxed up, and be on your merry way. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Rianne Shlebak

The Best Galette des Rois in London for Epiphany Cake Celebrations | Eater London

"Patisserie and choux pastry atelier Le Choux gives its Galette des Rois pride of place in its glass-fronted Ladbroke Grove shop window, as part of Franco-British pastry chef Abigail Scheur rotating cast of seasonal and festive bakes. Alongside a traditional Galette des Rois boasting intricately layered hand-laminated inverted puff pastry made with Wildfarmed flour and Normandy butter, it will also offer a “Galette des Reines,” or “Queen’s Pie,” as a nod to the all-female team. This will contain a layer of housemade gianduja alongside the classic frangipane; the fève will be a mini super-heroine figure. Whole galettes are available for pre-order in two sizes, to serve 4 or 8, while individual pies, without a fève, will be available at the shop throughout January." - Emma Louise Pudge

The Best Cookies in London | Eater London

"Patisserie and choux pastry atelier Le Choux occupies an expansive glass-fronted shop with an open kitchen on Ladbroke Grove. There are six flavours of cookie from Abigail Scheuer, and the hazelnut gianduja cookie spliced by whole roasted hazelnuts and rivulets of free-flowing gianduja spread is the original best-seller. For special occasions, Le Choux even offers a giant cookie cake that feeds 8 while retaining the precise look and feel of the smaller cookies — crisp on the outside, soft and fudgy in the middle." - Emma Louise Pudge

Google
Great pastry shop that I highly recommend! Large choice of small choux, their speciality, and they are excellent! Making my French side very proud they were so tasty yet not too sugary or heavy. Their cookies are amazing as well and kept warm so chocolate was still melting. Great snacks!

Google
Always on the search for a brand new cookie, and I would not expect to find such a glorious one at a place specialising in Chous pastry! I popped by after seeing the amazing reviews for the Le Choux chocolate chip cookie and was not disappointed. The cookie was perfectly cooked, slightly crispy on the edges, with a beautiful buttery flavour. The centre gave a glorious soft and doughy contrast. The chocolate was of an amazing quality and laced throughout the cookie, with a glorious density of pieces in the centre. Despite the cookie not being warm, these were still melty and gooey. The sea salt flakes really added a further depth of flavour, and were just the right amount of notable. After taking a few bites outside, I went back in and bought another to have another time (put in the freezer) and heat up in the oven to experience it warm! The staff were friendly and the space was immaculate. I liked being able to see into the kitchen/behind the scenes! I also felt it was reasonably priced for the size, quality, and the fact it was a cookie in London (£3.50)! I will be a regular here for cookies now ☺️

I think hands down this is the best bakery in London every time the cakes/pastries deliver. Jaffa cake was superb. Also, you must try the BFG and eclairs they are divine! Thank you

Google
I tried the black forest cake and 6 of the choux flavours and would recommend them all! My favourites were the salted caramel, passion fruit and lemon meringue- the fruit ones are tart and not too sweet. My friend also really enjoyed the hot chocolate (made with actual chocolate) and the vegan cookie.

A true gem in Notting Hill! I tried both the vanilla and lemon choux, along with a chocolate chip cookie and they were all excellent. But the lemon meringue choux was something else. Honestly, one of the most special desserts I’ve ever had. Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If you’re anywhere near the area, this place is a must-try. Beautiful pastries and a charming little spot that truly stands

Tried the white chocolate pecan and hazelnut macadamia cookies, crispy edges and perfect ratio of nuts to chocolate, divine! Enjoyed the tiramisu choux as well. No seating indoors, just 2 benches outside, recommend take away or delivery.

Pastries are delicious: got the chocolate cookie and a basque cheesecake which was amazing super creamy. Espresso was alright but very sour and price is quite high £3. No seating options available indoors.
