"If you’re drinking outside in Dimes Square, you’re probably doing so at Le Dive. The sidewalk outside the wine bar is littered with tables where you can drink a martini, eat fries, and talk about how much this place reminds you of Paris. Snag a spot while you wait for your table at Kiki's, or order some steak frites and make a whole meal out of it." - bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick, will hartman, willa moore, sonal shah
"Every spring, Le Dive's outdoor seating comes out of hibernation, and that’s when summer really begins. It’s the restaurant equivalent of Groundhog Day, and it attracts a crowd of Canal Saint-Martin-enthusiasts who never knew a time when Dimes Square was nothing but an inside joke between a couple of meme-makers sitting in Seward Park. Prepare to fight tooth-and-nail for your tiny little table, and always be ready for your close-up. (In the background of someone’s point-and-shoot digital camera.) The dukes and duchesses of Dimes Square" - bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick, willa moore, will hartman
"It should come as no surprise that this natural wine bar is kind of irritating. But that buzzy energy is part of why you come here (and visit Dimes Square in general). The space itself is fairly small, with a handful of stools and a single row of tables, but, in the summer, the seating-filled plaza out front has plenty of room. Share the beef tartare with a friend, get a $17 glass of natural wine from Alsace, and eavesdrop on the people wearing high socks with loafers seated next to you. This place doesn’t take reservations, so you might have to wait an hour for your table, but you should find that wait reassuring. It’s how you know you’re in Dimes Square." - carina finn koeppicus, bryan kim, hannah albertine, will hartman
"Le Dive aims to recreate that classic Parisian tabac experience: a lively space with a long zinc bar, neon tube lights, and cafe tables topped with glasses of wine and simple charcuterie plates. In warmer months, if you can snag a sidewalk table, order a bottle and a mushroom pâté or steak tartare, you could almost be tricked into thinking you’re on Canal St. Martin."
"The Jon Neidich natural wine hotspot in Dimes Square pulls in a crowd here for people-watching and its mostly outdoor scene. The interior is tiny, with round pedestal tables, little lampshade chandeliers, and a general feeling of being in Paris. Troye Sivan, Matthew Gray Gubler, Shailene Woodley, Michael Cera, Julia Fox, Charlie Puth were seen here by Deuxmoi readers." - Deuxmoi
