Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit in Antibes is the perfect choice for a romantic and memorable occasion. The restaurant is beautifully located near the sea, offering a stunning view that stretches from the Bay of Nice to the Cap d’Antibes. It is one of those rare places where the setting alone creates a sense of quiet wonder.
Inside, the impression continues. From the outside you would never guess how much character this place holds. The restaurant is divided into two distinct spaces: an elegant interior with carefully selected details such as artistic chandeliers and tasteful paintings, and the true heart of the house – the inner courtyard.
This courtyard is exceptional. Surrounded by old stone walls, guests sit beneath a magnificent, centuries-old fig tree that gives the restaurant its name. Protected by a glass roof, it feels like a natural sculpture and creates an atmosphere that is both intimate and unique.
The tables are beautifully set, with thoughtfully chosen porcelain and many artisanal pieces that reflect the personality of the house. There is a clear attention to detail in every element.
Service was warm, professional and highly knowledgeable. For our special occasion, we chose the Menu Saint Valentin, a seven-course menu composed with refinement and a great sense of balance.
The Michelin star is more than deserved. The perfectly cooked lobster with chard, bisque and verbena foam fully revealed the level of mastery in the kitchen. Equally outstanding was the veal sweetbread with truffle, one of the best preparations we have ever enjoyed.
This evening was a celebration of flavor, craftsmanship and genuine hospitality.
