If you don't go here, there is no point in being in Paris.
If you are strolling by the Louvre, this is a must-visit. We came at opening, at 6:30pm. It is very quaint, personal, and accommodating. The staff really make this a wonderful place to sip some wine and snack with someone you love.
We sat down and noticed there were no menus. The waitress came over and asked, "Tell me how you feel and I will whip something up." I responded, "Very happy, loving Paris. Dying for a memorable charcuterie board." She brought over a board with various cheeses and meats. She paired it with a glass of her favorite Beaujolais Villages. Then, I asked for another recommendation-- a white wine that I remember still. I remember us both taking the smallest bites, just to be able to savor it. We barely spoke a word.
They have local wines only, and I must say--- every recommendation was a ten. The boyfriend rarely has wine, and basically, we had 2 bottles within an hour LOL.
Definitely the perfect way to end our trip to Paris. I don't even regret having to rush to the hotel to pack, in a drunken stupor, and being completely hungover on the flight back. Magnifique!
