Very pretty and well designed coffee shop in les china town area literally at the start of orchard. Love the use of red, the coffee and matcha was excellent made by a friendly guy who was chill and nice. Will return next time in the area.

Fashionable stop for coffee and tea. They have Vietnamese coffee here! The staff is lovely and will answer any questions you have. Sadly there are no decaf options for those sensitive to caffeine - would recommend that the shop owner at least adds an herbal tea!

Super cool space with super cool baristas. Rhodes, Kai, Chloe, Noel and the whole gang are so attentive and make great drinks. Best matcha on the block!

Beware racist staff!! The white man pictured below took our order. We asked for a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and he told us they are out and recommended a drink that he said is similar (it was not and extremely sweet) . He later told customers after us that the wait for the Vietnamese iced coffee is only 20 min. He literally told everyone except us. We confronted the girl pictured below and she just stayed silent and said she can’t make a drink for us. Extremely racist and rude staff. She rolled her eyes and gave us the silent treatment. The man who helped us ran into the kitchen when he heard us talking to the other staff.

I'm quite picky about cafes but I would def go out of my way to visit this coffee shop! Great aesthetics, unique drinks, and very friendly service. Lots of shopping and cool stores around the area - can absolutely make a day out of it. If you're looking for a WFH cafe though, this is not the place - more fitting if you want to hangout and chat :) Note: Rose cardamom latte and black sesame latte stood out the most on a cold winter day ! was unclear on menu that these are not espresso drinks. More of a tea latte.

Great Vietnamese coffee + cute cafe vibe! I was walking past Le Gaz and doubled back because the vibes looked trendy but still really cute and then the menu is what drew me in. I ordered the Ca Phe Muoi which is Vietnamese coffee with a salted foam which was really tasty. I had been craving to try an egg coffee but this scratched a similar itch. I would definitely go out of my way to go back!

Yummy Vietnamese coffee! I like the strong coffee here - you can tell it's good by that specific shade of tan! There were a few small tables & bench seating - enough space for a quick pit stop but not enough to sit & use a computer. Service wasn't particularly fast but that comes with the drink ordered so no issue for me!

Coffee shop is chill and attached to the clothing shop. Definitely upgrade your order and get the cà phê muối, $8 (it's the vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk and salted cold foam). It's really good! The service is fast and the baristas are very chill. Not like a cozy cafe, but a chill one to pop in, have a coffee, chat, and leave.

Wowowow it's so easy to find a sea of cafes in New York, however it's rare to stumble upon one that checks all the boxes-unique menu, authentic, heating during the Winter. We ordered: Iced vanilla latte with salted cold foam Honey sesame oat latte That salted cold foam definitely hit the spot, so I can't imagine not coming back, plus this is located in Chinatown with cute, specialty shops closeby!

Came in for a Vietnamese iced coffee. It's good, but not overwhelmingly so from other places that I would come back for it, especially with the steeper price and size compared to mom and pop places that sell this type of drink. It is interesting because I think they pull the coffee rather than using a phin.

I stumbled upon this cute cafe several days ago and decided to order a drink. I ordered the yuzu match tonic and it was the perfect thirst quencher for a scorching hot 90 degree NYC weather. Their specialty drinks are centered around viet coffee and I love viet coffee so I can't wait to go back for a try. The cafe was clean and service was quick and efficient. Next time I'm bringing my coffee centric friends and family

Visiting New York for a couple of days and tries this place out, what a charm it was, super pretty inside, amazing service, the coffee was to die for, I ordered a capuchino my daughter and iced Vietnamese coffee and a caramelized croissant, everything was delicious, they have a clothing store attached to it with really cool stuff. Try it out it will not disappoint

TLDR - Had the Thai iced tea for $7 - Tastes very good but thought it was expensive. Hip coffee place, service was good, and in hip / busy location - Gave it a 4 star primarily for the price. Felt like the size was small for $7. There is a good amount of seating here though

Amazing drinks! I came here with my roommate and we tried the rose cardamom latte and matcha latte - 5/5 for both drinks! The atmosphere is cute too and we want to come back to try the Vietnamese iced coffee when it's warmer.

Great iced viet coffee! Balanced ratio of sweet condensed milk and strong coffee. A buck or two more than you'd pay from a Viet restaurant for a comparable taste. Nice corner location with indoor and outdoor seating. Service is slow. One person behind the counter and had an extensive conversation with her friends/regular customers before they placed their order. 3 minutes of catching up feels like forever when I was next to order. The coffee's reputation kept me patient (more than I normally would be). Unfortunately, others behind me weren't as willing to wait and decided to leave.

Lots of seating here, and in a prime location on a corner, so great for people-watching or catching up with friends! Trendy decor too! I had the vani muối latte, which was delicious! The latte was perfect, and I'm a big fan of a cold foam on my coffees, so this was no exception and really hit the spot. I want to try the cà phê muối next time, which is their Vietnamese Iced Coffee with the Salted Cold Foam.

The Vani Muoi Latte was good! It's a vanilla latte topped with salted cold foam that adds a delicious twist. Le Gaz itself is a charming blend of a café and clothing store, creating a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to returning and trying their Vietnamese coffee next time!

Tried this place when it first opened. It's half cafe and half clothing store. Such a cute vibe the stafff was very nice and I enjoyed my gunpowder latte would go again to try other drinks!

10/10 spot. All the staff are super nice, owners are really chill. Best Vietnamese iced coffee in New York. As a Parisian, I was really impressed with the croissants here. Flakey and buttery. Great to dip in the cappuccino. Came in during radio le gaz and the dj's were great. Vibes and track selection were peak, and music was at a great volume. Excellent spot to meet a friend and chill at. They got chess inside too.

Best matcha I've had in a while!! Not too sweet and the perfect taste which is great in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and attentive which I thought was sweet. The cafe itself is connected to the Fugazi clothing store, which I think both have a very nice and welcoming vibe to them.

this cafe is so cute!! the ambiance is great and the employees are so nice :) walked in while visiting orchard for lunch and the decor inside caught my eye. the vietnamese coffee is strong and flavorful and i was surprised how much i enjoyed it since i normally drink black or lattes. everybody inside is so friendly and lots of seating esp outside so i could see this place being popular in the warmer seasons. planning on coming back to try the charcoal drink and pastries

I came to New York for the weekend and Le Gaz was a highlight. The coffee is delicious, the location is prime and the atmosphere is great. Will definitely make this a regular stop for future trips.

Great menu and probably the best vietnamese coffee in the city. Loved the community vibes that this place offers as a hang out or work spot. Employees are extremely friendly too.

Such a cute find on the corner of Orchard and Canal. Was greeted by all the baristas who seemed to get to know each person ordering. It felt very personalized and not typical of a NYC cafe. At Le Gaz you can sit and enjoy the ambience rather than rush out on your way to the next spot. Have never had vietnamese coffee before and the vanai muoy (probably butchered that but it's a vanilla iced latte) with salted cold foam was unreal. Definitely becoming one of my favorite spots to hang in the city!

A complete vibe!!! The coffee was perfection alongside a fresh selection of pastries. The service was great and matches the mood of the cafe. I went on a Sunday and enjoyed a live DJ in a very intimate setting. 10/10
