Is this the best meal I’ve ever had? Every dish was incredible. Perfect balance of flavours, great wine list and very affordable. The menu changes every few weeks but you won’t be disappointed no matter what’s on for the night. A must try.

The best restaurant I went to during my 4-day trip to Paris. Amazing vibe, very local, in a quiet neighborhood. I ordered 4 tapas: the artichoke, pig paté, the duck and peas, the clams and the Gojujang fried chicken. All of the food was amazing, the artichoke's sauce was creamy with a hint of mustard, the pig pate' was very flavorful, the duck is balanced perfectly with the citrisy of the lemon dressing of the peas, the clams were to die for, and the fried chicken was super crunchy and pacted with flavor.

Extremely tasty food, great fish small plates. What a Belleville gem! Veggie options were also much appreciated. To mix and match, in order to try as many as possible. Dessert was also delicious. Rare to find a spot with no flaws like this one.

Lovely little restaurant that serves tapas style/small serving dishes for you to share with your party. The food were all pretty good. Nothing exceptional but not bad at all. There were a few good ones and some which you should avoid. Our party of 3 ordered 9 dishes in total accompanied by a bottle of red wine for about €120. The standout dishes were the curry mussels and tempura fried fish. Most of the other dishes we ordered were just average. I would suggest to start off with what you like, taste test and double up on them if you like the taste. Service and atmosphere though were exceptional. All the staff spoke English and were lovely to interact with. They didn’t stop serving bread and water until we were full. I would come back again if I were around the area but wouldn’t make a special trip down. Nevertheless, highly recommended for a relax, no rush meal that is casual and homely.

Excellent dining and tapas. Wonderful service. Neighborhood atmosphere. Gnocchi were like my grandmother’s and the artichoke tapas memorable. We had a double order of the sliced potato! Wish we found this gem our first week here!

We were looking for a sympathique restaurant with good food in a neighbourhood we do not go to usually and Le Jourdain fulfilled all expectations and more. Super sympa staff, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and fun neighbourhood. In addition, very flexible as, mid course in our dinner, three friends arrived there by complete coincidence and we could change table and sit all together. And all this on a busy Friday evening. Merci!

Google
Obsessed with Le Jourdain. Had a fabulous dinner there, then had to go back a few days later to check out the lunch “formule”. Such good value, small plates, ideal for sharing. Really unusual dishes but incredibly tasty. A must!

Yelp
It was our first night in Paris and this place really hit the spot! Every dish was a winner. The front-end staff was patient and kind, offering on-point recommendations while solidifying our choices. We were in awe as each dish was presented and sampled. We couldn't believe how lucky we got with finding this place on a whim! There's no doubt I could eat here everyday and I don't say that about many places, let alone write a review about them the same night!

Yelp
It's a tight space even by urban standards but it's worth it. We had a wonderful time with our host Zoe and assistant Elo. Oysters and burrata were the highlights but everything was excellent and charming. We sat at the bar which suited us fine. Can't wait to go back! Menu changes daily. Bon appetite.

Yelp
Make a reservation! It was packed when it was around 8 and there isn't many tables here. The menu changes I noticed from the pictures. We decided to try everything on the menu! Everything tasted amazing and very innovative. I loved loved loved loved their fried anchovies. We ordered 3 bowls of that. They really know how to create a creative dish with different ingredients. This place is pretty far from my hotel near the Arc de Triophe but it was worth the journey!!

Yelp
Great food, cute place. Every time I eat there I can feel their passion about food. The menu is different pretty much everyday base on what fresh ingredients they can get locally. Very creative, full of surprises and really good. If you like sea food, what to try something that surprise you, you'll likely like this place. + great price, everything is between 5-8 :) Highly recommended.

Yelp
Found this gem by accident. Turns out they have a Michelin rating the last 2 years. What more needs to be said? But, I will say every dish ordered was over the top. If you have the chance to visit Le Jourdain in the 20th make sure you make a reservation in advance. Also the serving staff is fantastic. We speak very little French but they spoke perfect English. They even have an English menu. Don't miss dining here.

Yelp
Amazing seafood and greatly executed in this Parisian restaurant in the 20 district. The quality of food for the price is what gets this 5 stars. This is a tapas style restaurant with a limited menu and highly encouraged you try all the items you can possibly try. I had the ceviche which was perfectly prepared paired with a couple of pickled items and the oysters were some of the best I've ever, you can taste the freshness of the sea and also the saltiness of the oysters which made them perfect with a light squeeze of lemon. Highly recommend if you're in the 20th district and don't be afraid to try out and experiment with some of their more creative dishes.

Yelp
Our Airbnb was in Jourdain and this place was conveniently located within walking distance of our temporary home. They mainly serve seafood-based tapas/small plates and have a large selection of wines to choose from. Their menu changes every day depending on what ingredients they have that day - I think they usually offer maybe 10-15 options and they advise you to order ~3-4 dishes per person (if you're hungry). English menus are available! The food here is INCREDIBLE. They really make an effort to serve genuinely good food. Everything is extremely fresh and carefully prepared for an excellent dining experience. Serving sizes are reasonable for the price. This place is cafe sized and it was packed when we arrived. It looks like most people come in with reservations. We were lucky there was an open table for 2 towards the later hours of the night so we were seated immediately but I suggest larger parties call in and make reservations first. Our servers were so kind and patient with us and checked up on us frequently. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

Yelp
If there is one thing good French Chefs do well, it's properly prepare and cook seafood. The Chef here has it down to an art! It's a bit hard to find in you are using GPS on your phone... (At least mine anyway...) But make the attempt and FIND this hidden gem! It was close to the AIR BNB that I was staying at, and recommended by the owner. VERY reasonably priced, excellent quality and friendly staff. I could eat here every day for the rest of my life and be completely happy!

Yelp
Fantastic neighbourhood gem. I had heard very good things about this resto from those living nearby and it didn't disappoint. They offer tapas-style, seafood centric dishes. There aren't a lot of options, but what they do offer are very well executed. Cute decor and unpretentious. It's always quickly booked up by locals, which I think is a good sign.

Yelp
I am a bit hesitant to write a review for this restaurant, because this is one of two of my favorite restaurants in Paris and the more people know about this place the harder it will get a table!! I've only been here for lunch, but the fish they get is always fresh and perfectly cooked. The establishment is small and quaint. The owner is a young, tall, lanky, handsome gentleman who is also your server. For someone who doesn't speak French, he takes his time to explain everything on the menu. And of course the food is very affordable, and better than anything I got in the city !!!

Yelp
What a wonderful restaurant! We had a soup for starters that made us eat with our eyes closed, and a main that followed suit. The prices and portions makes a three course meal for lunch feel just right! Service was awesome, ambiance was chill and elegant at the same time, and the noise level more than bearable for a very noise sensitive soul.
