"A lion and a lamb adorn the coat of arms of Auch – a lovely town in the southwest of France and birthplace of chef Thierry Lebé (Drouant, Coq Rico alongside Antoine Westermann). Superb from start to finish. To start with the staff are incredibly friendly, environment was relaxed but elegant, food was delicious. We had the dinner 3 course menu (42€) quality, size, presentation all of excellent value to the price. Even better still, they happily catered a bespoke menu for the vegetarian of the group. Thank you all for an excellent evening

I would give this place 6 out of 5 if I could. Food was top notch and the service is second to none. Overall experience was superb. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Nantes to book a table, you will defintely enjoy the dining experience.

Absolutely amazing food. Flavour profiles that you would not expect when ordering. It's one of the best restaurants I've been to and that's the level I expect from good restaurant. The staff is amazing and very helpful and speaks good English and will help you choose. We absolutely enjoyed every dish and time there.

Amazing dinner. Choice is relatively limited but everything we tried was original and very tasty. All dishes use excellent products. The wine list is also very interesting, with full range of prices. And we won’t forget the warm and friendly atmosphere, while service is effective and professional.

Had the most wonderful meal this weekend - the food (and wine suggestions) was incredible. I had a seat at the kitchen bar, so looked out into a very calm and well organised kitchen. Loved the food, I think only beaten by the service from both the waiter and head chef. I opted for three courses; don’t think I can pick a favourite course. Also, very good value for the price; they could easily charge more. A big thank you to the team - so glad I ate here. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had the opportunity to go to the restaurant Lion et l’Agneau whilst visiting Nantes. We were lucky enough to be seated in front of the chefs and could see the action in the kitchen. Chef Thierry Lebe is very passionate, he clearly cares about the products he used. He was happy to explain the dishes and their origins. The food was excellent with great attention to detail. The price was really good value considering we had a great time in a lovely atmosphere.

Great service and good prices with good food to boot. At the very end of a lively pedestrianized street a bit away from the main action in Nantes. Which will insulate you from the touristy crowds.

Fantastic food with lovely, friendly but non-intrusive service. Portions are the right amount. Every single dish was amazing. It is a small restaurant filled with the desire to make you happy. Even the wine recommendation was great. It is so good that I would absolutely come back here the next time I'm in Nantes.
