The Best Restaurants In Montmartre - Paris - The Infatuation

"Forget the now-touristy Les Deux Moulins (famous from Amélie). Le Mansart is the local’s choice for French café vibes. Snag a leather stool at the copper bar or a coveted spot on the sidewalk terrace, and dig into the lunch prix fixe that’s an even better deal than a Maxi Best Of at McDo: two courses for €12 or three (plus a drink) for €18. And the dishes, like steak tartare with a mountain of thin-cut pommes allumettes, and haddock brandade seasoned generously with dill and red onion, have no business being so tasty. Come evening, Le Mansart transforms into a buzzy bar where you’ll invariably need to elbow-jockey to get a spot. It makes it harder to enjoy the small plates, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find cheaper natural wines anywhere else in the city." - emily monaco

Would rate 0 but can’t. Sat 5 min. Went to bar to order. Bartender pointed to waiter he pointed us out. We sat down and waiter walked right outside passed us. Not acceptable. Told bartender we are out. Went across srreet and had drinks in under 1 minute. Both bartender and waiter failed us at Le Mansart. Don’t go there. Go to Depanneur instead!

We as a family with two teenagers liked everything! The atmosphere, the food (tartare!), the people working there and the prices. Recommendation for Pigalle quarter.

Good place, cool and local people from Paris. Hipster style and great vibe

I had a plane to catch and was in a rush. The staff was extremely nice even when the place’s packed, and helped prioritize my orders. Enjoyed all the dishes, a great experience!

Google
An extremely well known local spot that’s been here for a long time and open late. Food is very cheap, about 5-6 euros per plate. It’s nothing crazy but a great spot to be with friends and enjoy a drink. Food is served quick but don’t expect much service

Everything was great, the food was delicious, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the service from one waiter with long hair was terrible, he almost "threw" plates on the table, didn't bring us water(all other tables had water), and it felt like we were annoying him. He spoke English to other tourists, but with us he just kept speaking French. However, the rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. I work in this field myself, so I don't understand this kind of treatment of guests.

The best french fries. It tiny, it's crispy you can't stop eating it especially with the beer.

Don’t go here. We wanted a glass of wine and got scammed 1€ each. The wine tasted off and sour (no wonder, coming out of a giant box). Looks nice but really bad quality. When we were there, there was no table service and the staff looked like they also would like to be somewhere else.

Yelp
Came here this evening and asked if they were serving dinner or just drinks and the bartender mentioned they were serving both. I preceded to sit down at a table for 15 minutes and never was even acknowledged. For what reason I didn't receive any service I'm not sure, but as a visitor of paris I'll never go back. 0 stars.

Yelp
This is a nice little bistro in a great location. I was casually strolling by in the rain and needed a beer to kill time until a couple of stores in the neighborhood opened that I wanted to check out. When I saw the large floor to ceiling windows and copper bar top I couldn't resist stopping in. There is additional seating outside which is covered well enough even with the rainfall but it was a bit too chilly for that. However with the large windows there are little tables for two (or me and my jacket and stereo headphones, sometimes you have to be alone). There is a well stocked bar and a couple of local favorites on tap. I didn't see the wine bottles but I'm sure that there are plenty; it's Paris. I simply ordered a sandwich with ham and cheese on a perfectly buttered baguette. It was perfect. There seems to be a lot of locals who come in and sit at the bar and then pass on to various locales constantly. This place is a perfect stop-in or stay awhile establishment. PS: there's a foosball table if you come with a friend or make one while you're there. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great spot on a little backstreet crossroads. Good service, great pastries, vins naturels. Nice spot to people watch.

Yelp
A new hipster bar with fabulous cocktails, a giant wraparound terrace, baby foot and a rotisserie. What's not to like about Le Mansart, the latest nightlife destination brought to you by the same guys behind Le Sans Soucis, Le Floréal and Chez Jeannette? The new owners snatched up this prime piece of South Pigalle real estate just a couple of weeks ago, instantly transforming the space into one of the hottest corners in the hood with their special breed of nonchalant cool. While most people were ordering Pastis or Perrier on a recent visit, it's really all about the fabulous and insanely affordable cocktail menu courtesy of David West, barman extraordinaire who divides his time between Le Mansart and Le Floréal (which is currently under renovation). I ordered a pitch perfect dirty vodka martini, but there are oodles of fun drinks, from kamikazis and bourbon spritzers to custom asbinthe, champagne and calvados concoctions. While I didn't have time to dine, I hear that the rotisserie chicken is great as well. Chicken and cocktails? Now that's my kind of place!

Yelp
Terrible service, never received half our order including our beer. Soup was cold and not very good. keep going, don't waste your time or money.

Yelp
Sit outside and enjoy the great people watching, especially as the sun sets and the lights come on. We sat outside and enjoyed a planche de charcuterie et fromage (copieuse et délicieuse!) Our waiter was an older gentleman who cracked jokes with us the entire time we were there. We had a fun time!

Yelp
This is a great place for cheap wine and cheese. Price and quality is just right. I usually come here, nice atmosphere.
