Wonderful location right on the pond in Central Park. I’ve been several times for table service and each time the servers have had a sever attitude problem but wonderful views on a nice day. Food is average but it’s fairly priced so still a nice experience. Great spot to see the Saturday boat races!

A beautiful location to have something to eat and a coffee. Very average coffee but the food was ok. The 5-grain toast also has fruit in it and was tasty. A good salad came with the Ham and Cheese Croissant.

Excellent in every way. Tartine sandwich was the perfect amount of food. No waiting. French cream donut was the kiddos favorite

Had an amazing salad here. Food was brought our very quickly, service was good and everyone was friendly, and the prices were a bit expensive, but that's to be expected in NYC. The homemade lemonade was also great. Would eat here again.

Iced coffee wasn’t anything special but it’s a nice place to chill at after a long stroll around Central Park. Stumbled across this place on my stroll in Central Park and it was very pleasant. It’s right next to a dog park so to my it’s located in a nice area of the park. If you love dogs and coffee, this will be the spot to dog watch.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after our experience at Le Pain an Quotidien in Central Park, I felt compelled to share. My family and I visited this charming spot multiple times during our stay in New York, and each time, the service was impeccable. Contrary to the stereotype of New Yorkers being rough around the edges, we found everyone, especially the staff here, to be incredibly hospitable, polite, and genuinely kind. One particular incident stands out. While enjoying our meal, a large unleashed dog approached our table and unexpectedly devoured my avocado toast, knocking over our table in the process. My daughter was frightened and in tears. Before we could even process what happened, the staff were at our side, offering to replace our entire meal and providing comfort and support with warm smiles. They turned a chaotic situation into a manageable one with grace and kindness, even though it wasn’t their fault. The elderly dog owner eventually arrived and was extremely apologetic, offering to pay for everything, which he did. However, this doesn't take away from the fact that the staff had already gone out of their way to remedy the situation long before he arrived. Their proactive and caring approach truly made all the difference. Throughout all our visits, the staff consistently went out of their way to make us feel appreciated—not in a superficial way, but with genuine care. Their incredible effort and sincerity made our time there special, and I felt it was only right to thank them publicly. Le Pain Quotidien is a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Central Park.

If you’re in Central Park, New York City, this is a nice little place to eat. Outdoor cafe and the food is incredible! Serving size is more European than American, so don’t expect to glut yourself 😆

Visited on a sunny Sunday and the atmosphere in the park was lovely. Great spot for people watching. There’s a decent variety on the menu and the food and portion size were good considering where you are.

Love le pain and always stop here for a take out cappuccino but sitting down to eat is a no to. Take out and enjoy a picnic on the bench or the grass, there are even tables next to the table service section, that would work much better. The service on Saturday August 19 was abysmal. We waited 30 mins to get plain water then the food took ages. The people sat and left without being served anything, the hot dog took so long they took it off the bill. Greatly appreciated but still, we didn't get our water refilled, food took ages, no one asked if we want anything else. Sorry take out only here!!!!

Nice little stop and coffee break in the park I had the bacon egg and cheese which was really delicious and the service was a little slow but the staff told me it would be due to their steamer not working as effectively and that's alright at least I was notified but even though I waited it still wasn't the hot drink I was expecting, but the staff/crew were nice and welcoming.

Although this location still appears to be closed if you do a search on your phone, it's pretty much open right now. It's the only option you have to get a coffee and a pastry in this part of Central Park. They actually have a decent selection of baked goods, but not much is available if you're not in a mood for sweetness. The price tag is obviously high, considering where you are. However, the outside tables (some in the shade) are a great grab. Try to avoid meal times, or you'll stand on line forever... yes, the service is painfully slow. Keep in mind that there's usually a long line for table service, but you can quickly bypass it to the left if you just want to takeout.

I go to this location everyday 365 the staff here is amazing A+. they are among the best and friendliest staff I've ever met. thalia, Louis are awesome. they have my coffee ready for me every morning. take care of these two. you're lucky to have them as employees Jacqueline Wolfson

We were seated by the host in a fiendly gracious manner. The waitress (Jamica) was up beat and gracious as well; serving on a busy day, her energy was impressive; moreover she made us laugh. The food, tomato mozzarella snandwich, and chicken mozzarella bugette was very good and quite sufficent for lunch. The coffee was excellent. Le Pan was a pleasant surprise in the middle of central park.

A good food chain that I enjoy. They serve coffee or tea in a small bowl without handle which brings me to think of my Nainai (grandmother in Chinese; who's my grandpa's last and his most favored concubine ...) who considered manner, especially table manner was important, who disapproved of drinking out of a bowl ... -:) Dogs with their owners and birds from the skies are our drinking buddies and lunch dates -:) The beer garden @ tavern on the green isn't open so this is always my other choice. In terms of setting, this one beats out tavern on the green's out door areas.

Sure it's a chain, but what a great find in Central Park, not far from Tavern on the Green. Table service was good - excellent avocado toast and cobb salad. Service could have been a bit more attentive, though it was a busy weekday lunch hour. I'd go back for sure.

Was in the park with our two dogs and hungry. Enter LPQ. We were seated immediately outside. The perfect day. Ordered an almond milk latte. It came in a bowl. Not even joking. It felt kind of primal to drink it like a dog. Haha. Sadly, it was more warm than hot. But that's OK. Also ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was really good, albeit small. Texture of the bread was perfection. Egg was cooked perfectly. Bacon added a nice crunch. My wife ordered the waffle, as did her sister. It was seriously sensational. Great texture. Great sweetness. Nice presentation. Service from Monique was fantastic. She was prompt with spot on reccomendations. Honestly, it was super enjoyable. Hard to ask for more - OK, maybe larger portion sizes - but that may just be me. I like to glutton myself, and I'm not even sorry about it. Ha!

I have been to a couple Le Pain Quotidiens before but trying one in the middle of Central Park was definitely special. We are also lucky to have good weather, although a bit humid on a Sunday in mid September. The Central Park location has basically the same menu as other Le Pain Quotidiens but this might be one of the best places on the planet to have brunch. There is quite a bit of seating and I am sure this location can get pretty crowded. We were able to get a table for 9 people without a wait. I ordered the frittata and it came with a small salad. It was perfect for me on this day and the eggs were fluffy and the dish had good flavors. The coffee was also good and we shared a mixed berry tart that was nice. Our servers were friendly, attentive and helpful. We had sort of small family reunion with my niece being in from Paris and it just was a very pleasant brunch.

Nothing like sitting outside in Central Park on a beautiful Spring NYC afternoon. Hot cup of java. Fresh blueberry muffin. A view of the Sheep Meadow full of people playing, relaxing, and chilling out. Perfect spot inside the park to take a load off and people watch. Plenty of tables and chairs with waitress service. Or just walk up to grab and go. Bathrooms here too that are decently clean. After walking around the park for a good part of the day we took a rest here and chatted over coffee late afternoon. Service was ok. They let us order on our own up at the counter and sit wherever we wanted. No problem. Overall, a nice spot to have a bite and something to drink. Beats the dirty water dog carts.

Super cute cafe in the middle of central park. My husband and I were up very early to catch the sunrise and found this little fairytail-ish cafe in the park. The pastries and coffee were delishous, the staff friendly, and the inside was adorable.

Biggest mistake to stop here while on a bike ride through Central Park! We arrived here at 11am and were told to go to the right side patio. When we got there, there was no server to be found so we just sat down and took menus ourselves. Eventually a guy came out saying he was the only server for the entire patio. Absolutely insane on a Sunday morning. When he finally got around to taking everyone's order, they were flat out of croissants and when I then asked for the pain au chocolat, I was told they had left them in the oven for too long and they were "a bit crispy". Seriously?! At this point we had spent a good 20 minutes waiting to just order so we didn't feel like leaving and going to another place to potentially wait even more. But this was just a terrible situation. Hire more stafg and make sure you actually have the products on the menu!

The best part about this LPQ is the location. You can sit outside and enjoy a beautiful morning or afternoon in the park while (over)paying a fraction of what you'd pay at The Boathouse. I was joining out group later in the morning and my wife had pre-ordered a ham and guyere croissant. It was just fine, nothing special. The avocado toast was also OK. The bread basket was nice. I was starving from my run so I gorged on the various breads, smothering them with speculoos and jam. The service was a bit weird. Server was nice and well meaning but seemed like he was just starting out, with various minor mixups. No skin off our backs, we still enjoyed the brunch.

WOEFUL unprofessional rude dismissive manager who today treated me like I was trash. I was in the cafe yesterday at around 4.30pm with 2 young children I nanny for. We all ordered hot chocolates and when we left I left my water bottle. When I got home I realized I'd left it there. I called the number on the google maps but it seemed to be a very general answering service so I left a message but later was in area so I I went in to grab the water bottle I'd left. I asked at the counter and lovely woman said oh yeah I think we found it and I pointed to where I left it. She yelled out to another staff member and that member said I threw it out. I was stunned and said what? It's a $40 water bottle and I would've been here near close yday and it's only 1.30pm next day. Why isn't it just put somewhere and she said they get lots of water bottles left and they throw them out. I said why would you do that. I said what color was it and she said confidently "I wanna say beige" and I said yeah and with markings on it and I said again why would you do that? She said because we gets lots of them or something like that. And when I said where it was she said it's wasn't there that I found it. I said so. I left it there! I said can I talk to a manager and she said I am the manager. I said again why would you do that? The thing I DIDNT say because I was angry and upset was it was a gift to me from friend who had bought it off indigenous Australian store when I was going through hard time to remind me of my home country. So it is sentimental also. Also many other people in the cafe so didn't wanna make a scene. Her manner was worse than being outwardly rude even.. she was so dismissive and nasty. I walked out and tried to call Le Pain but you make it extremely difficult with NO main contact number for head office or feedback or anything. Only poor staff at individual stores not knowing how to field complaints. So that's odd for a start. So the lovely guy at a random cafe I called because I couldn't find any other number told me to write a review here and that you alway read these and contact the person writing it. So I'm asking someone to contact me from Le Pain when they read this. I'm not going to provide personal details here but after you contact me here I will expect a phone call so I can give you that once I have email address to send that too. If she treated me like that I cannot imagine how she treats her staff or other customers. I am disgusted with how I was treated and with the ridiculous rule of throwing out lost property straight away. You could see it's not a cheap bottle. Contact me here so I can talk to an actual person.

This place literally sucks. They don't make any food fresh for you and the cashiers are so rude. I asked for a bathroom and just got eyes rolled at me and condescending attitude like "you should just know where the bathroom is". The worst part was when I walked in to ask for some water and got handed a latte. "Here's your vanilla latte". I didn't order a Vanilla Latte. I turn to my left and see another shorter asian girl who has black hair and was wearing a dress, looking nothing like me walk in and grab her latte. I have blonder hair and was wearing pants. It doesn't feel good to be racially profiled. I hate the people that work here. The service sucks. The food is cold. Everything about this place is horrible. The one in Encino, CA is 100000x better. This place should get shut down and the servers need to take a class on how to be nice, kind, and learn better manners.

What a disaster! They don't take orders because the kitchen is backed up. The LPQ app doesn't work either Beautiful to sit at, but don't expect your food to come.

We are impatiently waiting for this spot to reopen. The pahk just isn't the same without the welcoming site of my fellow al frescoes. Our go to spot for a nice nosh or lunch. Love the salads, sandwiches, tea, & esp the brownies and the hazel nut bread sticks! Everything tastes better in the Pahk. Please, please, please come back!

Originally planning to lunch at Tavern on the Green, we were initially disappointed when told that the lunch service stopped at 2:00. It turned out to be fortunate because we were able to easily get a seat here. Great staff, nice location, very good food. Despite being a chain this location retains the feel of a stand-alone restaurant, with a full bar along with great coffee, bread products, and shareable snacks.

Poor service. Totally got ignored and skipped. and when I actually ordered the cashier didn't seem to really care and had this "whatever" attitude. And for the actual cold brew, I've had better.

Need a cup of coffee while you're on a stroll through Central Park? I would highly recommend! Beautiful view of the sheep's meadow, and the mall is nearby. The food isn't anything amazing, but compared to the prices of the food carts this is definitely fresher! Good for the location, okay for food.

Central Park on a Sunday post run. Around 8 am and they had no granola ready, grumble. So I settled for a chocolate croissant and an iced coffee. I then went outside to a huge seating area only to be told it was for ordering only. Seems silly at that time of the morning that I couldn't eat my breakfast in the sun with food I had just bought from inside. The seating area for people who had bought from here, was only about 4 tables, so completely full. Opted for finding a bench. The croissant was good as was the iced coffee.

Though I have been to the restaurant before just a different location. This one was by far the worst experience. There was a line off about 10 people wanting to get in the to place before I got in line, and we had all waited for about 20 minutes. There was no Host that I could tell, though there were a decent amount of servers on staff. Also there were plenty of open table to seat everyone waiting, at lease 15 tables available. Once it got to me to get a seat "again waiting for 20 minutes" I noticed a gentlemen sitting by himself just reading a news paper. I waited for another five minutes, when the gentlemen got up and said " good luck on getting servers here I've been waiting for thirty minutes" After that I decide to go elsewhere with my appetite.

Sat outside after our usual dog walk. This LPQ is small, but outdoors in the mornings are filled with locals and their dogs, a pretty fun environment with plenty of water available for dogs. The outdoor service is surprisingly quick but ultimately the menu is limited to bakery items that are not up to par with other bakeries around the UWS. As long as you know what you're walking into (or sitting down for), this shop provides a nice stop for a quick meal in the mornings. I'm sure during peak afternoon hours, it can get busy with tourists, so I'll caveat my rating to the weekend mornings.

From out of state and stopped here after walking through Central Park. Great environment with a beautiful view. I personally got the chicken mozzarella sandwich, it was very delicious with plenty of flavor. My brother just said, " that's probably the best waffle he ever had" talking about the Belgian waffle. The service was fine, the only thing was the food took a little to long to come out. Man next to us ordered same sandwich after us, and received it before us. Besides that, the place is very good!!!

I had been looking to review this place. We were hungry and strolling the park in Oct 2017 and OMG we came across this place. It was so welcoming and our server was so nice! My kid was tired and she wanted fruit and he saw that she loved the strawberries he went back and came back with a bowl with just strawberries he did what he could to Please her and in my eyes he was why this place earned the 5 stars We grabbed a small meal avocado toast coffee and a waffle. And hands down every time we think of our trip to NYC we think of this place. The coffee was amazing as well it was simple and great. Can't wait to visit again

Woke up in NYC to a beautiful snowfall, the wet snow that covers everything in a white veil. I HAD to trek through Central Park to partake of the beauty. However this Miamian quickly succumbed to the freezing temps. Luckily, LPQ was conveniently located in the park for much-needed hot chocolate. It had a good Belgian chocolate taste, but was kinda watery and a small serving. A toasted ham and gruyere croissant was very delicious but was not very filling. I felt the price was high for what was received, but considering the location, I get it. If I lived here , I think I would just pack a Thermos with my own hot chocolate and skip LPQ.

This is the 3rd time I've been to this location of Le Pain Quotidien, and each time has been a disappointment for similar reasons - extremely slow service and food not up to par with the many other locations in the city that I patronize. We previously have kept going back b/c if you have plans in the park, it is a very convenient location, but last week (Labor Day weekend) was our last visit. 1st of all, this past weekend, they seemed horribly understaffed. When we arrived there were dirty dishes from a previous table that remained there for the entire time we were there (slightly over an hour.) Since it is an outdoor seating area, the food on those dirty dishes were attracting a ton of birds who then proceeded to .... ahem.... drop their droppings on the tables and chairs as they fought over bread and other items remaining on the previous diners' plates. 2nd of all, despite the fact that one reason we like Le PQ is due to their kids' menu, which offers a meal with some cut up fruits and veggies and a drink of either milk or juice, this location, in the middle of Central Park, refused at first to honor the kids menu. So at first, we were told by our waitress: "We don't have a kids menu." But I know they do, and the printed leaflets (see photo) were all stacked up at the hostess stand with the regular menus. When I started to make a stink about it, our waitress said, "I get yelled at when I ring up anything from the kids' menu." So at that point, I wanted to just leave, but she said she would work out for us to get the item we ordered from the kids menu and a drink, but "no fruits and veggies." At this point, we were the 3rd table at the outdoor cafe in back, which is the larger of the 2 outdoor cafes. The one on the side was mostly full, with a few empty tables for two. But overall, the restaurant was far from full. I notice neither of the other tables that were there when we arrived have received their food. So I asked the waitress if there was a backlog in the kitchen, and if the things we wanted to order were "quick" as we had tried to choose things that were pretty easy and fast. We explained we had to be somewhere (10 minutes away on foot) at 1pm, would that be a problem? The waitress assured us it would not. So we stayed. What a mistake. One adult ordered avocado toast and the other ordered the ham / cheese croissant and one kid got the Dutch mini-pancakes and the other kid got grilled cheese. None of these take long, usually. We must have waited more than 30 minutes for the food. At least we got to watch the bird and squirrel battle at the next table for entertainment (hey, there is the silver lining to them NEVER cleaning up the dirty dishes.) When the food came, the grilled cheese was not grilled (see photo - the cheese was kinda melted between the bread, though) and the hot items weren't hot. We asked for the check as soon as the waitress brought the food so we could pay it and just eat and then get up and go. She didn't bring it. We ate. Our water glasses were never refilled; not even once. The dirty table covered in fighting birds was still there. We still waited. No check. I left with the kids so we could get to our 1pm event on time. We ran and barely made it. My husband stayed to get the check and pay the bill and had to run to meet us. If I am ever starving or dying of thirst, I may go inside and buy a drink "to go" and take it with me, but we will NEVER eat at this location again, and frankly, it has soured me on the brand generally.

Found this place by accident. The staff is amazing so friendly and personable. All of the food was amazing. There were 5 of us, we all ordered a different meal and we were in no way disappointed. Everything was delicious. The view on the patio was so nice as we ate our meal. Definitely a place to stop by. Our waitress Nadia was so amazing. She gave great recommendations for the meals and desserts. She has a bright smile and her service was outstanding. Love this place.

Food: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 5/5 Raspberry Lemonade ($5.35) - 3/5. Quick stop at Central Park for some drinks. Perfect sweetness but couldn't really taste the raspberry. Good ambience for a rest when walking around the park.

Found this little gem of a cafe in central park. Was raining and the manager and server cleared a table for us. The food was delicious but the service was the best we had yet. Nadia was joking with us and took a selfie. Will definitely be back when we visit New York.

Very accommodating! We were a group of 8, a baby and a dog! Normally a restaurant would turn their nose up at this, but they were very accommodating and our server (girl with short haircut) was super patient and great Will recommend for quick brunch!

I work in the industry. I'm pretty lenient when it comes to service because I get it. Things can get hectic and busy etc. but the way that their servers acted today appalled me. My fiancé sat down while I took a business call and when I got to the table a server goes "ya ready?" mind you he had sat for about 15 minutes with no water...in a restaurant that was NOT busy. We asked for water and the server rolled her eyes and said "you dining or not?" ..... At that point my fiancé was so uncomfortable he asked that we leave. What a waste to have such a cute restaurant in Central Park with such awful service. Again, coming from someone in the service industry who normally doesn't get upset at minor things I'm really sad I didn't get to eat there today because they made us feel so uncomfortable.

Food: Excellent Service: Poor at best I visited on a Wednesday afternoon (by myself) and was led to a spot in direct sunlight, which I didn't really want, so I asked if I could sit at another table in the shade. She acted like that was the weirdest request she'd ever heard, but led me over there nonetheless. I sat for about 10 minutes and no one approached me. All I heard the entire time I was there was the waiters arguing and talking back and forth about which tables were their's and how some had too many tables, and others not many at all. It was really bizarre - I've never heard waiters so publicly chatting about policies. Anyway, I finally flagged down the hostess and she sent a waiter over - a guy with red hair and a slight beard, who seemed unenthusiastic about anything. His exact response was "Hey man, did you want to order anything?" Why yes, this is a restaurant, isn't it? Are you kidding me? Anyway, I ordered the Eggs Frittata and a Raspberry Lemonade. The food arrived fairly quick, and was honestly quite good - if I was only rating the food it would be at least 4 stars. But alas, the terrible service returned. Within 2 minutes of bringing my food, the same waiter appeared and said he could leave my check for me. Really? So I have to ram this food down my throat and pay the bill within 2 minutes of getting it? What if I wanted a dessert, god forbid? I acted astonished and said "Can I... eat first?" He said "Oh yeah, just wanted to let you know we could bring it to you." Thanks? He came back at least 4 more times in the next 20 minutes and asked if he could get anything else for me.... Each time I said no, and eventually I just ignored him. I don't like to be hurried and rushed out of a restaurant. If I'm paying, you're respecting me. And it's not like they were crowded - there were at least 7-8 empty tables the entire time I was there. Within milliseconds of eating the last bite off my plate another guy appeared and swiped my plate from me, and the waiter was right behind him, dropping my bill on the table and saying "whenever you're ready". This service is a joke. If any manager is actually reading these - I recommend a sit-down with your staff asap. These people have zero patience or customer service skills. Terrible.

Perfect little cafe in Central Park. After spending the morning in the park, we decided to stop here for a quick bite. You can dine in or select from the grab and go items. (Grab and go dine in patrons have to seat in a separate designated area of the patio.) Good food, great view and awesome people watching.

Although I'm a fan of Le Pain Quotidien, I never knew that this location existed. I'm thrilled because I spend a lot of time in Central Park in a summer time, and now I know where I can have healthy and organic breakfast or lunch! I had Chicken and Smoked Mozzarella melt sandwich, which was pretty filling and super green smoothie. My server Nick was amazing. So attentive, with a great smile and energy. He brought food pretty fast. Anyway, this place is worth of checking out if you love outdoor seating in the heart of the park. Can't wait to come and try the cocktails that they have!

Cozy and nice! Beautiful setting in the middle of Central Park . Fast and courteous service. Right size portions.

It's convenient of course for people walking through Central Park but that's just about the only perk of this place. The latte menu is extremely limited: regular or mocha. The quality of the drink was okay. The cashiers weren't friendly or patient.

1 star! Horrible customer treatment! Employee cursed at me and sprayed bleach all over my jeans in the bathroom! I expect the management to take appropriate measures. Here's what happened: on Saturday 02/03/18 at ~2pm, I went to the bathroom. As I was walking in, the janitor began chasing me away and waving the "Cleaning in process" sign at me (note: it was not on the door yet). He cursed at me multiple times, calling me f-words, white trash, telling me how disrespectful I was and that I should get the f*** out of there. I kept my mouth shut and went to the stall. Next he sprayed bleach all over the back of my black jeans which as I later found out were totally ruined. I went back to the coffee shop and explained the situation to the barista, who completely ignored me and then told me he had customers to take care of. The place already has poor reviews. I believe if the management wants to turn the situation around, it better start with replacing its current employees with someone more professional.

Nice place, the view was good, but it's obviously, because this cafe is located in Central Park. Probably the only one in nearest area, this is why everybody go there. My friends and I ordered lemonade to drink, plus ham with bagel, soup and waffle. All the food coast us 60$ + 10$ tips. Food was good quality, and they served fest. As they said all food was organic. Overall, nice place to stay with friends for lunch.

Best brunch location on Earth. Period. Seriously, everybody in the world dreams of having brunch on Central Park. And if the restaurant is a Pain Quotidien, then it makes the experience even better. I've been there every time I visited New York. Everything is worth trying, but I keep a special memory of the hot chocolate, the Belgian Waffles, the muffins, pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice... Grab a table outdoor and enjoy how beautiful can life be.

The line was maybe a 10 min wait, but it was around noon. And with it being right by sheep meadow (central park) it wasn't that surprisng. But the food was fresh and overall an enjoyable meal. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with smoked mozzarella, very good! The chocolate chip cookie is huge and good if you like thin and crispy cookies, instead of gooey/warm ones. The lemonade is hard-core there, like not even adding 6 sugar packets is gonna stop that kick. Took it over to sheep meadow and enjoyed a slow Saturday in New York, always fun and so tourist it'd be wrong not to do it.

We've eaten here many times. Today was very good. We had an excellent waiter named Marcin. A role model for others. He was attentive & kept us satisfied with bread as we waited for our meal. It was so fresh. The gazpacho was delicious as was the arugula salad with lentils. My spouse had the salmon salad & found it very tasty..

I like their mini pancake, it tastes good! And the service people are nice and helpful. Most of all, a good experience to enjoy the meal in the park.

Love LPQ, everything is healthy and made fresh (obviously) when you order it. Friendly, attentive service, and reasonable prices. Try the chicken soup. It's great for when you have a cold!

Service was pretty terrible. I had to order three different items before I finally asked for something that they could make me (didn't have the some of the ingredients I guess). Finally ordered a ham and cheese croissant, wanted for 10 minutes for it, asked when it would be ready (this was after a woman who ordered a croissant after me received hers before me), no response, grabbed a guy from the kitchen after another five minutes and he said he just got the order 2 minutes ago. Was prompt to bring it out to me. Only problem was that is wasn't what I ordered. Ended up with an egg croissant instead of ham and cheese. That being said, the croissant and coffee were very good.

This quaint little cafe in Central Park is great!! It's in a quiet part of the park which makes any meal time enjoyable The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. You can take out, sit at a side table, or sit down for table service. Service is fast and the staff are super friendly.

I've never been so disappointed with food service in my life. I was sat down with a friend for nearly THREE hours to simply eat a (terrible) avocado toast and another tartine. The service was horribly slow, staff was mean and flustered, brought out the wrong food and then charged us a completely wrong amount to our cards. 0/10 recommend EVER coming here. The waiter was also extremely hostile after charging our account an extra $10 with no explanation. I'm only giving it 1 star and not 0 because me and my friend enjoyed a wonderful (self-brought) pop tart while waiting for our food. Attached is the wonderful pop tart we consumed.

Stopped here while walking in Central Park. The service was awful. Couldn't relax and enjoy the nice weather because there were large yellow jacket bees flying around us. The food was okay. Not the greatest. Took forever to get our bill and it was wrong. Out of our 3 days in NYC this place was the worst. Do not go here.
