Best New and Most Anticipated North Bay Restaurants Right Now | Eater SF

"Jay Magsano’s second location in downtown Napa showcases French-inspired baked goods with Southeast Asian flavors—candy-striped croissants lacquered with rose lychee raspberry, glistening ube gelato macaron sandwiches made with fresh ube, pillowy brioche buns, and crackly sourdough baguettes that would sit comfortably on Paris’s Rue de Rivoli." - Christina Mueller

Stopped by for a quick refreshment and really enjoyed it. I had a classic butter croissant and an ube croissant, both flaky and well made, with the ube filling adding a nice, lightly sweet flavor. Paired them with an Americano, which was smooth and balanced. A great stop for perfect refreshment while exploring Napa Valley.

Google
Came here specifically for the ube crossiant after seeing recommendations on social media. Service was over the counter and pleasant. The presentation of the crossiant itself was amazing, but first bite told a whole different story. Perhaps just my luck, but it tasted stale and hard (almost scone-ish) Will not be returning.

Google
This is really a 4.5 stars. Pastries were so delicious. We bought 4 different pastries and each one was so rich, decadent, and large... even tasty the next day. Clerk was friendly. Not personable but friendly. Most disappointed with the coffees. I ordered the lavender latte and was really hoping for something pretty and at least tasty. It was flavorless and tasted like milky coffee. I realized the lavender syrup was at the bottom and stirred it up...the syrup had a really bad after taste. Husband ordered the pumpkin spice latte and he said it didn't taste pumpkiny (Yessss, that's a word lol) at all. Really wanted to try the macaroons but at $3 each... they were a bit pricey for such a small treat. Pictures are of the croissant, rolled croissant and blue danish...we also got the bread pudding. Would definitely go back for the pastries and skip the coffee.

Google
Honestly we were very disappointed in the bakery. We came excited to try French style croissants and it’s not just it wasn’t French style at all, but also the bread was stale and tasted as if it was a week old =( The cashier was nice and provided some recommendations and her favourite items. When I came to a her to tell that we didn’t like the bread and it tasted as a week old croissant, she just said “yeah….” 😅 So it looks good but tastes horrible

Google
Eh. Thats about it. Hoping for a Saturday morning cozy bakery but instead this is a brightly lit echo-y room where its hard to have a conversation over the noise of the kitchen work. Our croissant was cut in half like toast? The fruit Danish was deflated without much custard and the puff pastry was not crisp. The emendada was actually pretty tasty, beef brisket. The Adobo pork sandwich was also subpar. Luke warm and lacking flavor. Didn't even get coffee because I didn't want to be disappointed again.

Food 1-5 stars. Overall service experience: 3.5 Cleanliness: 3 Noise level: 3.5 Ambience Decor and Atmosphere: 4 Food. Coffee quality: 4.5 Adobo sandwich Flavor: 5 Presentation: 3 Value for money: ($16.50) 4 Comments on the meal: iykyk Filipinos do it different The almost barbecuey sweet and savory flavor from the pork is unlike anything else you can find very easily in Napa. I think it's a must try if coming here. Bacon, egg and cheese breakfast Sando- Flavor: 5 Presentation: 3 Value for money: ($13.25) 5 Comments on the meal: deceptively simple bacon, egg and cheese were all executed perfectly, but the best part was the buttery flavor from the croissant. Because of that, it made the sandwich greater than the sum of its parts absolutely delicious. Bacon maple croissant Flavor: 3.8 Presentation: 4 Value for money: ($5.75) 3.5 Comments on meal: perfect amount of sweetness you taste mostly the baked croissant and a very pleasant Maple flavor. Wish the bacon was saltier and had a larger presence in the flavor, and the croissant was slightly dry

Google
If you are looking for a quick coffee and a bite, this place will do. However, there isn’t any French style pastry here. Way too much food coloring, croissants are just cold stale bread with flavored cream. I can’t believe they charge $7.5 for a croissant when it’s not even Costco level. The barista was very friendly though

Brandon L.

Google
Disappointed. This is a store, not a bakery. Nothing tasted fresh. Croissant was over-cooked to being bitter and then cut in half and toasted like a sandwich. Adobo sandwich was reheated lukewarm and had zero texture between the croissant and pork belly. I'm not a person who leaves leftovers, and I left half the sandwich on the plate. Came with a few other people, and they had similar thoughts on their food. Another reviewer mentioned a cozy nook in the upstairs I was excited about, but it ended up just being a haphazard office space with bad LED lighting

Yelp
The pastries was good and I loved the variety. The ham and cheese croissants needed more filling. Barely had ham or cheese The good morning bun was perfect

Yelp
Where you can find flakey yet tender and moist croissants. Strong, smooth coffee too! Ever since we found it, we've stopped by for some pastries and coffee almost every time. https://youtube.com/shorts/BjTXChjK61A?feature=shared

Yelp
I wanted to stop by a bakery before heading home from Napa. I was excited to come in and order. Its definitely a cute place . However , customer service is horrible. No greeting from any staff. Everyone looks upset. The kid taking my order was quiet and I felt as if I was bothering them in their place of work lol. So awkward . My fiance and I did not dig the vibes. To the employees - please smile more and improve your customer service. Its terrible !!

Yelp
Best pastries we've had. The morning bun is so good. Their lattes are amazing too. Cute little cafe. Very clean and friendly staff. All the pastries on the display were beautifully presented.

Yelp
There were so many pastries I wanted to try from here but the one thing that stood out to me the most was the blueberry cheesecake cronut. My gosh, it was absolutely gorgeous! It was such a dense pastry too! Imagine cheesecake, plopped right on top of a croissant doughnut, that was essentially what the cheesecake cronut was! Although it was heavy and decadent as a dessert, it wasn't overly sweet. The croissant was nice and flaky and perfectly made. The cream on top of the cheesecake itself was delectable and overall, very solid spot! If you eat an entire thing by yourself, you're pretty much set for the entire morning until late lunch!

Yelp
It was a short walk to get here from the Main Street in downtown. There was a bit of a line which was OK because it was my first time here, so it gave me time to review the menu. I ordered the salted caramel latte. It was a bit light for my liking. My husband got the cinnamon roll latte and that had much better flavor. I recommend trying that one. All the pastries looked good but we had just come from breakfast so I had to unfortunately pass. Service was ok. It took a while to order and get our drinks. With no place to sit and limited area to stand, it was a bit awkward. I would have waited outside but it was raining. Other than that, it's a cute spot to check out.

Yelp
Came here for the ube croissant and got way too much haha. The place is so cute. There's seating inside outside and on the second floor. It's a cute place to people watch~ We got a whole lot: Ube croissant: the ube cream is delicious, sweet but not too sweet. But since the pastry has to stay in the fridge, the croissant is a little hard. But that's inevitable. Strawberry Danish: buttery delicious with custard and strawberries in the middle, very tasty~ Avocado toast: love!!!!! I really love that it default comes with smoked salmon. This is really exactly what I need for my avocado toast. Also the bread is great! Nicely toasted but the crust is not hard to bite~ Cropuff: it's a little tower of puff pastry and cream. So good I could eat five of them lol. Cappuccino: it's decent and goes well with pastries~ The place is very open with tall ceilings. And staff is perhaps not the friendliest but very knowledgeable and give good recommendations. There are so much more I wanna try to I'll definitely be back~

Yelp
Good enough sandwiches for what you'd expect, but the pastries are really what stands out here. Great spot to meet up with a friend, maybe a first date also. Ambiance was nicer than I expected I saw many service workers coming through and ordering. Danish not pictured. Service is pickup at counter.

Yelp
Friendly service. We stopped by here on our way back to the Bay Area. They had a nice selection of pastries- we got a few of the strawberry macaroons which the kids liked. I got a fruit danish that was excellent with my chai that I ordered there. They have a downstairs and upstairs area to relax. Was quiet and peaceful while we enjoyed our coffee and pastries.

Yelp
You would think that Napa has a legit spot for French style breakfast pastries, and a Yelp search brought us here. Browsing their display case, a few things caught our eye. We got two Cappuccinos, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, Cro-Puff, Adobo Empanada Brownie Cookie, Special Morning Bun, and an Croissant. Service was pleasant and the vibe was cool. TASTE is EVERYTHING, and unfortunately, this is where it was lacking. Empanada filling didn't taste like adobo, but more like meat with balsamic vinegar. Cookie and Morning Bun were okay, but all other pastries were disappointing. When making pastries with a laminated dough like Croissant dough, you should have a slight crunch with a soft airy interior, which none of the other pastries had. It was like biting into regular bread without the flaky texture croissants SHOULD have.(possibly overproofed dough, or bad lamination when making the dough because it also lacked structure on the inside. On top of that, The Ube Croissant is served cold/chilled. Stuffed or not, croissants are best enjoyed at room temperature or slightly warmed. Must be a health department thing I guess. Bouchon Bakery is your best bet in the Napa Valley.

Yelp
Coffee and food and excellent. Service we had not impressed. I think the gal taking our order was having a bad day. Very cute setting. Customer service needs improvement.

Yelp
The French pastries are top notch. A hidden gem in between Second and Third street on Brown, just opposite the Courthouse. You will be well pleased with your choice. My standout today was the turkey and veg quiche (of the day) with my medium roast coffee. Simply delightful.
google avatar

Anastacia S.

Yelp
The pastries look unbelievable here, but I actually just wanted a coffee, so I tried the gingerbread latte with an extra shot. I ordered via DoorDash since we had a group order. It was very very sweet, so it leads me to believe they forgot the extra shot. I had to add some coffee to it, just to drink it, but I wouldn't write this place off because of it. It was clearly a rookie error of mine not knowing how sweet it was. The spices were still delicious and good quality, I would definitely just order it 25% sweet next time. Also, I will make an effort to try one of those yummy looking pastries!

Yelp
We spent a morning pastry hopping at multiple bakeries and cafes in downtown Napa. Le Paris has cute and esthetically pleasing pastries but the taste of them left a lot to be desired. They have a quiet little second floor seating area that our group sat in to try the various pastries we bought. The Ube Trifle was SO sour. We each tried a little bite hoping it'd get better but I'm pretty sure it had gone bad and the ube was fermenting. The staff was nice enough to give my cousin a refund for that. The special flavored croissants looked beautiful but were really dense and dry, almost cake like and served refrigerated cold. We had a hard time trying to cut through the density to split into sharing pieces. The ube croissant dough also had a sour taste to it but not as bad as the trifle. At that point, we didn't want to bother asking for another refund. My cousin got a ham and cheese pastry which the staff heated up but when we ate it, the outside was warm with really cold ham cubes on the inside. It probably should have been heated for a bit longer. TLDR: a hit for pretty, IG worthy pastries if that's your thing but a complete miss for taste, texture, and correctly warmed up pastries.

Yelp
I've been lost ever since ABC closed....but....yelp lead me to Le Paris. It is a lovely little cafe/bakery hidden away in the downtown biz section of Napa. Pastries are creative and delightful. Great pastry dough. Fantastic fillings. Ambiance is warm. Service was friendly and hardworking. Next time I visit my place I will stop by here. Don't listen to the frustrated Muni compensation workers on these reviews...they just bitter and lonely

Yelp
Love this place! Have always been a fan when their American Canyon location was their only one but so happy to see they've branched into other cities. This was my first time at their Napa location and it's so cute and convenient in the heart of downtown Napa with an easy walk to the river front. The inside isn't too large but enough space for a few tables on the main floor and a cute little balcony overlooking the place with some seats as well. Their ube croissant was so good! Can easy eat a few of them in one sitting if I really let myself!

Yelp
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." As a kid, my mom would always say this to me. Then, she'll say something not nice... "Well, it's the truth!" *FACE PALM* Moms are moms, and most never change so that's that. While it's generally a good rule to follow, as a paying consumer, I think constructive feedback is important so a business can improve. Which is the case here... After finishing lunch nearby at Zuzu, I found Le Paris Artisan & Gourmet Café on Yelp. They're a pinoy-owned business so I wanted to support them. This is their second location; original is in American Canyon (never visited). They're open for takeout, delivery, indoor, and outdoor dining. M E N U French inspired pastries with a touch of pinoy influences (ube + adobo), sandwiches, cakes, and coffee drinks. On the day I visited, there were two display cases (one refrigerated, one not). Barely anything was labeled and one case was cluttered. The customer in front of me kept asking the cashier what each pastry was. It took a long time so she kindly allowed me to go before her since I knew what I wanted. F O O D * Chocolate Hazelnut Spiral Croissant ($7.25): http://tinyurl.com/362nt28s --Cross-section: http://tinyurl.com/e6v8shb5 The viral spiral croissant looked a lot better than it tasted. Sadly, it was cold, hard, and dense...like refrigerated irish soda bread. The chocolate hazelnut filling was unpleasantly sour (not like bitter chocolate). Not sure how long it was sitting in the cold case but it was way past its prime and shouldn't have been sold. S E R V I C E Indifferent. A M B I A N C E Casual American café vibes with several tables inside, a loft area, and three dog-friendly outdoor tables. P A R K I N G Easy street, lot, and garage parking. Overall, Le Paris Artisan & Gourmet Café was sorely disappointing. Their original location in American Canyon have rave reviews so maybe it was a very off day here. I'm rarely in the area to visit again tho. Hope others have a better experience!

Yelp
We live in Napa, so I've been here a few times. The pastries are beautiful. My favorite is the almond croissant. It's delicious. Some of the other pastries are fine but not fantastic. I like to sit outside when the weather is nice.
google avatar

Snoopy S.

Yelp
We loved everything we ordered, so delicious! Ham egg cheese croissant was so yummy. Ube croissant was beyond expectation! Cropuffs was so good! Staffs were extremely friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
The pastries are divine! Prices a touch higher but you can taste the difference from any bakery around. This is the top bakery in east contra costa county!
google avatar

Sheryl M.

Yelp
We were in Napa for a work conference and had to start our morning with pastries. Came into this place and loved the variety of pastries. Service was great. The young lady helping us was very helpful, friendly, and patient as we had a difficult time deciding on our order. We did order a good variety. The bakery is a cute spot to have your morning pastries and coffee. We went as soon as they opened, so we got to enjoy ourselves. Stop by when you're in Napa!

Yelp
I love my baked goods so I was excited to try this place! I made sure to arrive before the close and got here about 1 hour before. Casual layout, some chairs inside and out and not busy at all post lunchtime. Thankfully they still had a good selection of pastries! I liked how most everything was labeled... made the decisions easier! I ended up with a Morning Bun Special and a Fruit Braided Croissant. Both were pretty good, nice and flaky and buttery! However, I was not a huge fan of the cream inside the morning bun. It was light and fluffy and left a bit of that oily/shortening residue on the roof of my mouth. I would have preferred if it was more of a custard style cream but that's just my opinion.
google avatar

Cristina T.

Yelp
This charming cafe and delectable pastries shop is one of my favorite place to relax and enjoy the sweet treat. Here are some of my favorite sweet treats, including the delectable Maple Bacon Cronuts, flaky butter croissants, and the soft, sticky morning buns. Each is a delight to enjoy with their special coffees to teas. Pay as you order; limited tables available upstairs and main floor. Parking is limited.
google avatar

Lulu F.

Yelp
Visiting this cafe has been delightful each time. The pastries and sandwiches are tasty. The coffee is coffee not a overload of sugar. I usually come to meet up with friends in the morning. The seating is limited but can be fast pace. Customers going in and out.
google avatar

Yelp
Just popped in for some pastries and coffee! We got a few pastries and they were delicious. The staff were kind, service was quick, and vibes were so warm! Water is available as well to fill your cup or water bottle!

Yelp
Great food & coffee, superb service! Will definitely come back someday to try more food items from the list.

Yelp
Woke up and the wife wanted iced coffee. We stumbled across Le Paris and saw a variety of pastries on their display. All looked soo good!! It was tough to decide but we managed to select a few. We also ordered their Iced lavender latte with almond milk and their cinnamon roll iced latte. Both were delicious and not too sweet. However the star of the place is their pastries! Pastry: -Ube croissant -cropuffs -strawberries and cream Please stop by if you're in the area. You will not be disappointed

Donna Andrighetto ..

Yelp
Ordered macaroons and thought I was getting what is saw in Napa. Was told to pick up in am canyon. Not even close to the ones in the display case. When I went to show the difference they were not helpful and could care less. Won't be going back.

Yelp
I got sucked in because of the photos on Yelp. Lol My husband loves ube so of course I had to come in and grab an ube croissant for him. It did not disappoint. The croissant itself is huge and beautiful. The contrast of the golden brown and purple is so eye catching. At first bite, my husband was obsessed. The ube flavor is very apparent, but it also tasted more coconutty - which isn't very traditional. The croissant was filled with filling and surprisingly my husband wanted more. Lol, he did say he wished it was a bit sweeter. I went with the supreme hazelnut croissant. I'm a sucker for a trendy item and this croissant reminded me of the Tik Tok crazed Lafayette croissant in New York. So I was happy to get a taste of one similar without the long line. It was flakey, butter and decadent. I loved the hazelnuts on the exterior. I wish there was some in the filling. The filling also was more of a mousse or whip cream base? It was good but I would've preferred a rich ganache or Nutella. Lol but it's a nice balance of sweetness because if the whip cream. I'm sure that's why they opted for whip rather than Nutella. Our croissants were $7 each. Which seems quite hefty. But these weren't your ordinary croissant. I would pay the $14 again and we plan to on our next trip to Napa!

Yelp
A delightful cafe in downtown Napa! Met a friend for a quick coffee/snack. Parked nearby in the free garage. Interior is bright and inviting with high ceilings and fun, funky art. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. There are a few bistro tables outside and a few more tables inside on the ground level. There's also an upstairs level, but that was closed for a private group when we visited. My friend enjoyed her coffee and ham, egg, and cheese pastry! It looked delicious. I enjoyed a smooth latte and an avocado toast! This is no ordinary avocado toast. It's elevated and I'm here for it: Avocado toast with smoked salmon, over-medium egg, toasted seeds, and crème fraiche on toasted sourdough! I swapped bacon for the salmon - crispy and delicious bacon, oh yeah! I do recommend using a fork and knife to conquer this deliciousness! Maybe order something easier to eat if you're on a first date. But solid or with a friend, have at it and enjoy! If you read my reviews you probably know that I have a salty tooth. But I do enjoy an occasional sweet treat and need to try their famous cropuff when I return!

Yelp
TL; DR... Are you effin kidding me?! The caramel morning bun!!! Came here early morning and lots of fresh pastries still available. Ordered a latte with oat milk. Decent and was a good caffeine fix. With all the pastries, I couldn't decide! Ended up grabbing the caramel morning bun and instantly regretted I didn't order a dozen. It was THAT good. Buttery flakey croissant- like bread with a light creamy filling and sweet caramel oozing all over. Mmm. I also ordered an almond croissant for my plane ride home later that day. The crunchy slider almonds, flaky outer crust, and super almondy smooth paste inside made my flight home even better. The croissant survived in my purse for hours until my flight, so if you're looking for something that will hold up, this is the one!

Yelena P.

Yelp
We ordered a dubai croissant and OH MY IT WAS STALE! I could hardly bite into it and it tasted like it sat out for a week!! We were told the pastries were made last night but that tasted like it was made a month ago. We kindly went back and asked for something else after only taking one bite and the girl in the front desk, short black hair took our tray and thumped it down with attitude and replaced it with a croissant which is why there's 2 stars because that wasn't so bad. Front girl needs to fix her face because there was no need to have attitude. This place is cute and cozy but man this girl ruined our whole experience with the way she treated us for simply not liking a 12$ week old stale dubai croissant.

Yelp
I like everything I've ordered from here: portobello mushroom sandwich, ube croissant, and ube pie (might be a seasonal item but would love for it to be available year-round). It has been a month and I'm still thinking of that ube pie! I came weekend mornings on both of my visits, and nearby street parking was available both times. There were plenty of open tables on my second visit. If anything could be improved, it would be that they clean their tables (didn't see any tables cleaned the time that I dined in) and a "hi, we'll be with you shortly" as their line can move slowly. Still, I would come back for their delicious ube products.

Yelp
Had this place bookmarked since they opened. Swung in and grabbed a few things while my husband and dog sat outside at one of the few outdoor 2-top tables. Snagged the cropuffs, caramel morning bun, and the ube croissant. Caramel morning bun was our favorite. Normally morning buns are too messy, too crunchy on the outside, and not soft enough on the inside. This one, caramel filling kept the inside soft without overpowering the flavor. It was still messy, but less so than normal so I'll chalk that up as a win, and overall had great flavor. My husband fought me to the end for that last bite. Kind of wished I got another so I didn't have to split. Cropuffs were good too but soooo tiny. Explains why they were $1.50. I needed like 5 of them. Otherwise, good bite sized treat that was light, fluffy, and airy. Our least favorite by far was the ube croissant. It completely lacked ube flavor, and while normally anything cream filled doesn't have enough cream - this was wayyyyy too much. Which would've been fine if it had better flavor, but very lack luster. As for the inside, there's a small upstairs with bathrooms, and a small selection of tables downstairs with another gender neutral bathroom. Everyone stands in line to order so the downstairs tables are pretty much blocked off unless you want to stair at people's butts. Staff are friendly and efficient. I'll come back for the morning bun and cropuffs.

Yelp
Pastry and sandwich was excellent. Coffee was good. Service was mediocre. Staff was barely civil at ordering and pickup - made me regret leaving a tip.

Yelp
How I wish I lived near this bakery! I'd be a regular customer for sure. I've been there 3 times now, twice on our way back home from weekend trips to Napa, and once after getting a Covid test after a trip to Washington DC. The only place I could get a Covid test before meeting up with family after Christmas just happened to be a couple of miles from their location in American Canyon, so naturally I had to make a visit. I've been getting their Ube Croissants, Cruffins and Maple Bacon Cronut because they're excellent. Their croissants are so flaky and buttery. The fillings are not too sweet either. Last time we were there, we had their sandwiches, Pork Adobo for me and Roast Beef for the hubby, and we were both happy with them. The only downside is they don't allow you to use the restroom and they only have a couple of tables in their dining area in their American Canyon location. I haven't been to their Napa location. Next time we're in the Napa area, I want to check out their Napa location. Perhaps, try their other pastries as well like eclairs and macarons. :)

Melanie B.

Yelp
Oh how I love this cafe! This was the first time we've visited this location and it will not be our last. I've always loved their pastries. My favorite is the cropuff. Little bites of heaven. Airy cream in between cronut layers. The portobello mushroom sammy is to die for. I swear one of the ingredients is crack because it's addicting! Hubby had a ham & cheese pastry and coffee and he enjoyed his as well.

Yelp
This is the best bakery around. It is so good. Everything is really fresh and the coffee is really good or espresso. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Ordered two croissants and they were both cold. They must have been stored in the fridge overnight or since early in the morning. The specialty croissant (purple) was very dense. The filling was basically colored whipped cream. It had no flavor to it whatsoever. The rolled croissant was also dense but not as bad. The filling tasted slightly alcoholic, very mild chocolate flavor. The hardened chocolate on top wasn't bad, it basically saved the whole croissant. To add to the bad food, when we walked in there was only one other customer ordering in front of us, and two people working, and they still managed to not greet us or even acknowledge us until the other person paid and left. I wouldn't even notice if it was a busy establishment but it was just odd given that the place was half empty. Wouldn't recommend. It definitely had nothing "French" about it.

Yelp
Dropped by here on a Saturday afternoon pick-me-up. I got the salted caramel morning bun, and my friend got a chocolate chip cookie. My morning bun was absolutely delicious. It was filled to the brim with salted caramel cream. I didn't think there would be so much filling. My friend thought the cookie was okay. I had a taste, and it wasn't bad. I'm sure to come back when in the area!

Yelp
I'm in Napa again. I've been meaning to do this a long time. Today, I felt like getting some Pastries. I got a Tiramisù, Croissant, and Canolli. The layering of the cream and mascarpone of the Tiramisù, is something else. I also can taste the bold expresso in the Tiramisù. The dusting of the cocoa powder on top the Tiramisu is a good touch. I've had a Tiramisù in Times Square, and this was one of the best Tiramisù I ever had. I never had a Croissant like this, it was so decadent. And this was like the ultimate Canolli, it's going to be hard for them to find a better Canolli out there. Like what I said, my favorite coffee is Macchiato. This is a Caramel Macchiato. The Macchiato was strong and robust. Everything looked appetizing and spectacular. This could be a 4.4-4.6 stars on a good day, but I give this 4.3 stars.

Yelp
It's a good thing I am just now discovering this cafe cause if I had known about it while working in Napa, I'd be broke and heavier. We walked over to Le Paris Artisan from our B&B since we had missed breakfast and honestly just looking for a good cup of coffee. This place popped up and I thought to myself "Huh. Haven't seen this place before" so we walked right over! I'd be lying if I said it totally wasn't the photo of an Ube croissant that solidified my decision to come here. It did mention it was a seasonal option so I was prepared if they didn't have it any longer but on the off chance they still did... THEY DID! The shop was super cute and located right next to Carpe Diem which we had recently tried as well! The yellow furniture outside makes it easy to locate. The lady in front of us was being incredibly indecisive and took a while to choose which pastries she was going to order for a party. The staff seemed to be a little bothered but were more than happy to help her make the choice. I noticed they took extra care to make sure everything was boxed up correctly. We didn't mind the wait because we were all trying to decide what we wanted! They have so many amazing latte and mocha flavors to try and the pastries... oh man. I knew what I was there for but there was temptation for more! I ended up getting the cinnamon roll latte and my partner got a regular mocha. We judge coffee shops a lot on how well they can do a basic mocha and this one was incredible! My latte was also delicious. I loved the cinnamon and vanilla flavor. My Ube croissant was good but messy. I didn't expect it to have a filling and honestly, it doesn't need it. That would be my only feedback. There was WAY too much filling and I ended up taking it apart to get the filling out. It was still delicious though.
