Where To Eat In Accra - Accra - The Infatuation

"Accra, like most big cities, has no shortage of high-end restaurants designed to make your experience look great for your social media feed, like Le Petit Oiseau. However, this Osu spot isn’t style over substance. It’ll have you screaming, “Another banger!” after each bite. Their modern West African menu elegantly combines Ghanaian stews and sauces with the influence of French cuisines, heritage from French colonisation of our neighbors. You’ll want to inject both the in-house shito and garlic sauce that accompanies the pan-seared grouper straight into your veins, and, on a spiritual level, understand how they made the goat espetada “kebab” so tender, as well as why and how the brown stew surrounding it is the best thing in the world. You might even question whether you’ve ever had a flourless chocolate cake as good as theirs. And for those very few who have been searching for the perfect bottle of natural wine in Ghana (yes, super niche, we know), this is the place to order it with your meal." - eileen twum

I wanted a date night with hubby and desired somewhere we had not dined-in before. This restaurant had good reviews so we tried it last night. It was good. Very pricey, admittedly. Patience was our waitress and she was helpful and lovely. We had the goat espetada, lamb chops and steak au poivre. I enjoyed also the peches dorees cocktail.

The high rating of the place absolutely justified. The food is truly excellent, great service and the live music perfect. It's one of the best restaurants in Accra for sure. Recommended the ravioli bisque and the goat espetada!!

I stopped by this cute, cozy spot late on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant was quiet when I arrived, but that only made the service feel even more personal. My waitress, Mercy, was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. I tried the spicy margarita, which had the perfect kick, and the goat appetizer, which was flavorful and satisfying. Mercy made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I’m looking forward to coming back when it’s a bit livelier to try more from the menu. Definitely a hidden gem! 🇬🇭

We had an amazing time at Le Petit Oiseau. The food was excellent. We ordered the goat espetada as an appetizer and it was very flavourful. It came with a hot sauce which gave the perfect amount of kick. For mains, we got the grouper fillet and the steak au poivre which were well cooked. Our server, Mercy, was very attentive and kind! Would recommend this restaurant if you’re in Accra!

I had such an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious every bite was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly mixed and refreshing. What really made the evening special was the atmosphere the place is aesthetically stunning, with such a warm and inviting vibe. The live band music added the perfect touch; it was vibrant, soulful, and made the whole night feel unforgettable. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Accra . I can’t wait to go back!

The food here was excellent, after 3 weeks of travel trying steaks in France and South Africa I was dying for a good one, they didn't disappoint. The pepper steak was the best piece of meat on our trip. The fried calamari was also excellent and so was the goat esperada, honestly, I cant complain. Service was good and the restaurant is beautiful. Well done.
