"Is Le Petit Sud the spot for fine dining and mind-blowing French food? No. Is it the spot for making your way through the wine list and eating excellent charcuterie on a romantic first date? Absolutely. In case the chandelier made of wine glasses doesn’t give it away, Le Petit Sud is a proper wine bar, but with none of that ‘are you sure you want to pick the rosé’ side-eye. Both the waiters and the wine list will happily point you towards the right bottle, with cheat sheet sections like ‘fresh and crisp’ or ‘weird and wonderful’. They’re opposite the Kensington entrance to Hyde Park, and just a five minute walk from the Royal Albert Hall, so if motorcades and Bach are your thing then Le Petit Sud is the perfect spot for a plate of cheese and a gateway glass of Chablis." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

This place is absolutely fantastic. Quirky, Cozy, with an outdoor space, minutes away from Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. It is a little authentic french wine bar and bistro. The staff (all french) are so attentive and the service is really amazing. The owners are two young guys from South of France who's aim was to bring the taste and spirit of South of France to London. And they have definitely succeeded.

Incredibly cosy place, love the atmosphere. You can have anything from Wine, drinks, tea and if I remember right an assortment of cheese and a bit of food. Nice and friendly staff and the prices are reasonable. Overall, would def recommend this place and it really gives you the "You are in France" vibe. Did I mention the chandelier?!

Loved it here. It had been a year of caffeine-free drinks for me until I decided to break it here with an iced coffee. It was spectacular. It took a long time to prepare but I could tell that they ground their own beans... it tasted so fresh. I was so happy sitting on the patio stoop. These are the kinds of places I always hope to stumble upon as a tourist. Note: there are not many brunch/lunch food options, prices are expectedly higher than usual, plate sizes are not particularly large.

This is a great spot for a cognac. It is an actual French restaurant frequented by actual French people. They have a super cozy lounge room with a big screen in the basement the worked out perfect for catching a football game in comfort. Friendly staff. Though they seemed to be out of each beer and cider that I tryied to order. Their beer mainstay is Corana. But their overall drink selection is great.

Really great staff!! The guys serving us were friendly, polite and took their job seriously which is refreshing to see. New ownership have done a great job despite the adversity of the pandemic. Drinks and cheese board were excellent! Get down there and enjoy a cocktail or two in the sun

Yelp
Hungry after a Monday night concert at The Jazz Cafe, we were thankful that Le Petit Sud was open late and able to serve small plates after 11p. Foie gras is banned where we live and it was quite a treat. There was an ample selection and variety of French cheeses on la planche de fromage -- all were fab and accompanied by crostini and fruit. Of course, we enjoyed their wine and limoncello. The dining room is quaint with candles and French music playing. I discovered additional seating downstairs en route to the restroom. Take note of the motivational quote, "There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs." You can also dine al fresco. It was wonderful to find a taste of Paris in London.

Yelp
We stumbled in here trying to avoid the rain and figured we would give it a try. The atmosphere here is very comfortable. They have music playing in the background that fits very well. As far as food goes, they really don't have much. It is mainly cutting board stuff, and all of it is very expensive.

Yelp
I always stop in this lovely little place for a glass of wine after my walk through the parks. The French flair is fun.

Yelp
Cute wine bar with good service. Their plants on the table could use a water, but the waiter was very nice. Their wine menu was decent. There is an outside, inside, and downstairs space that can also be rented for private functions. It's s new bar, so they are still working out the kinks.

Yelp
Wonderful small French braserrie just opposite Kensington Gardens. Grest wine with tasty nibbles. The staff are friendly but the furniture isn't child or elderly friendly. Excellent for romantic couples

Yelp
We happily stumbled upon this lovely place when visiting London! The staff were welcoming and we easily got a table for two. The cocktails were delicious along with small plates to share. The space was cozy and a perfect place to have a casual dinner after a day of London sightseeing! I would highly recommend this lovely spot!
