"Jean-Marc Boyer is a true craftsman, and his passion is unmistakable: he finds inspiration for his cooking during solitary walks in the surrounding hills. Aromatic herbs, wild asparagus and wild garlic are used to dress up his colourful dishes that are rife with clean, well-handled flavours, such as mackerel marinated in cucumber or monkfish with carrots and ricotta ravioli. He arranges everything into a single set menu, over the course of which the surprises keep coming. The interior, designed by Régis Dho in a Japanese vein, provides the perfect foil to the chef's pared-down culinary vision. A note for those who are pushed for time: this is a restaurant with a leisurely pace." - Michelin Inspector

the dinner was not at the level of one Michelin star.... there was nothing special or simply tasty in the food - the food was at the level - OK (not bad, not good) We found a hair in the food and asked to change the dish and they just took out the hair and brought it to us the same thing, but without the hair, and when we asked (what is this?) they answered that they took out the hair and now everything is fine. We asked to change the entire dish and only the second time they did it for us. The dishes were not washed well, there was dirt on the cutlery (looks like dried out old food) We paid 7€ for an espresso and it was just a cup of espresso. During the entire dinner, the waiter poured water only once; during dinner we had to get up and go to the table where the water was and pour it and put it. We were not happy with the dinner. for 4 years and more than 20 restaurants with a Michelin star - this restaurant was the worst experience

Local ingredients, very attentive and warm service made possible by less than 10 tables to take care of, attention to detail. You don’t come here by chance and you are right to stop by. The truffle dishes are amazing.

A delightful place. Excellent food in a pleasant and not stuffy atmosphere. Loved the personal explanation by Jean Marc Boyer; a gentleman who takes great pleasure in guest enjoying his food.

We had lunch here and it was delightful! A 'surprise' menu where all the surprises were good ones. The meal was a treasure chest of tastes and textures, as good to look at as to eat. Fortunately we had done the historic climb first so we could appreciate everything. Lovely service too. We will certainly be back.

We took the medium menu with wine paring. Everything matched and was very tastfull accompanied with a couple of relaxed and observant waiters. We were also able to speak with the Chef Jean-Marc Boyer himself After the meal. Thank you for a formidable evening. If possible, we'll be back.

I write this review enthusiastically since this restaurant was a great surprise. As its name says, it is a treasure. The surroundings of the restaurant are magnificent. The restaurant is well-decorated. The waiters were two very young guys who behaved magnificently despite their little experience. However, what really stands out is the food. Although each dish is very well presented, everything pales when we try them: Very defined and subtle flavors, with great harmony. Most of the vegetables are grown by the chef himself. The 20-minute drive from central Carcassonne to Le Puits du Trésor is worth it.

A restricted menu at this auberge offshoot of the next-door Michelin starred restaurant; yesterday's main was a whole chicken breast accompanied by ratatouille grown in their own garden, followed by a caramel mousse. The starter on offer was a charcuterie plate. 3 courses for 25€, we chose the main and dessert (2 courses for 20€). The portions weren't huge, but sufficient, especially as we were planning to scramble up to the four Lastours châteaux afterwards. A very tasty jus made the main course special, and the veg were cooked perfectly (i.e. not over cooked). Dessert was quite small but delicious. Recommended, so long as the fixed menu (no alternative à la carte at lunchtime) suits your palate.
