Le Relais De Venise - Review - 17th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

"There’s something a bit Disney-like about this no-reservations restaurant in the 17th. Eager tourists join the line a good half-hour before it opens at 6:45pm, and the waitresses costumed in black dresses and white aprons bark their only line: “How would you like it cooked?” After all, steak is the only thing on the menu. Most order their super tender sirloin à point or medium-rare. It comes bathed in a “secret” sauce most agree is made with mustard, tarragon, anchovy, and more butter than any reasonable cardiologist would recommend, and yet that doesn’t keep us from wiping up any remaining streaks with the ho-hum baguette or flabby, disappointing fries before the waitresses come around to offer second helpings." - Emily Monaco

Skirt Steak Review: This Midtown Steakhouse Scores With a $28 Prix-Fixe | Eater NY

"A Paris-based steakhouse, Le Relais de Venise is known for fixing patrons with plates of dressed lettuce and sliced entrecôte; its prix-fixe approach is the strong cue Skirt Steak borrows, and the New York location remains temporarily shuttered." - Ryan Sutton

One to tick off the bucket list in Paris. We lined up about 45mins before opening, so we were at the front of the queue. No description needed as you know what is being served. Salad, bread, steak and chips came out super fast. Very efficient and friendly service. The sauce on the steak was top notch. Don’t forget to order desserts. Lovely lunch!

Google
this is the most famous streak frites place in all of paris. lines are long so be prepared to wait. we arrived 15 minutes before opening so we didn’t have to wait but by the time we left, the line was at least an hour long. steak is nothing to write home about. the cut is clearly cheap. the restaurant focuses on scale rather than experience. for the price point - can’t blame them. i would recommend visiting but don’t expect a good steak. albeit, it’s still better than all of the other steak frites places in paris. due to this, it’s a solid 4/5.

Enjoy the entrecote! They asked us how cooked we wanted it. The flavors were well-balanced and delicious, and I loved the baguette. We also ordered coffee and the profiteroles were wonderful. I thank the employee, Caroline, for her warm welcome and attentiveness, even though the place was busy. She was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. Thank you, Caroline!

Google
A must-visit when coming to France. You may have to wait up to 30 minutes, but it is absolutely worth it. I ordered my steak medium and the first serving was cooked perfectly. The second serving did cook through a bit more than I preferred, but the flavour was still amazing and the overall experience more than made up for it. Their dessert selection is also surprisingly vast, and everything tastes great. From start to finish, the quality, atmosphere, and consistency make this place a standout. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Get there early! We arrived on a Sunday night 20 minutes before the doors opened. There were about eight people in front of us (we were a party of two) and people began to gather quickly. They can seat a fair number of people inside but there will eventually be a wait any night and it gets so long. I liked this simplistic menu. We were asked how we wanted our steak cooked - medium for both of us - and what we wanted to drink - verre de vin rouge for both. We had a light salad, bread and then the steak and fries arrived. The fries were fried perfectly and the steak was cooked as ordered. The sauce on the steak was a nice tough without being too heavy. We both had a second portion of meat and that was filling. J’ai bien mangé! I’d definitely return to dine there again. Try the homemade profiteroles for dessert, too!

Well, this restaurant used to be one of the best around Palais des Congrès. Sadly, the service quality has diminished slowly to the tune of "I'm too good for you"... You can't blame them considering the still long waiting line. First, the waitresses kept mixing up our drinks orders. Then the table seated 10 minutes after us got served starters first... My request for butter was met with a stern reply: "on n'a pas de beurre!" (there's no butter! ). The salad was bland with hardly any dressing. The meat was thankfully tender but is reduced to 5 thin slices... I wonder if we even get 100g in total for 30€ euros. Do yourself a favor, there are better options elsewhere with good service too 😂

Google
Food was pretty mid, over hyped. It was a decent meal for the price but I wouldn’t wait more than 45 minutes for it. If you come from the US it’s like Chilis quality steak. The sauce is good, the fries themselves probably best I’ve had. We came 12/20, we waited 2 hours & 17 minutes before getting a seat. Not sure if its due to the holidays or in general long wait as we already knew there were long waits. The sitting arrangement very different you’re elbow to elbow with other guests so if you’re claustrophobic beware. Also they don’t take AMEX.

Google
Fantastic experience! The meat was excellent — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The sauce was absolutely divine! Service was fast, and the prices were excellent for the quality. The space is a bit tight, but it feels warm and cozy. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is the second time I've gone to this restaurant but not this location and it's still super good! This location was about a 15-minute walk the Arc de Triomphe (not too bad to me). We got there a bit before opening and there was already a small line forming! Would definitely recommend lunch time over dinner time since the line was a lot shorter. I really enjoy the sauce a lot on the steak. On the second time eating it, it kinda has a spicy mustardy taste (not completely sure though). They gave a lot of fries so I was really full just from that. If I was a bit hungrier I would have tried the dessert. The desserts all look really good and aren't that pricey either. The servers were pretty nice! Although the space where we sat was cramped, they did try to accommodate and make it easy to move around the restaurant.

Yelp
I've eaten here now on both my trips to Paris. I don't know what the sauce is that they put on their steak, but it's magical! I drag my steak through it, my fries, even my baguette! Another thing I took away from here is eating a baguette with dijon mustard instead of butter. So yummy, and now we do that at home. And don't even get me started on the desserts! Just to die for! You definitely won't leave here hungry. My only gripe is that they really pack you in. Be prepared to be very cozy with the tables beside you. The line gets super long, so be ready for a wait.

Yelp
No frills, all you can eat steak frites and a loooooong wait. Waited 1.5 hours on a weekday evening, loaded with tourists. Been here a few times before - but typically went a little early (and off-tourist season). Was seated and they took orders right away. There's not much to choose - you're there for steak frites. Choose how you want it done and what wine to drink with. You get a salad that is sorta just there - didn't eat much of it. Then comes the steak frites and the gravy. Was delicious and got about two more helpings worth. Also ordered dessert - some ice cream / sorbet dessert with meringue. All in all - it's a wait ... but if you're hungry and want to gorge on steak and fries - it's the way to go. Just don't expect fine dining or a true bistro spot. Would come back.

Yelp
my brother recommended me to this restaurant because he's been coming here for years when he is in Paris. I arrived to Paris and, I decided to give it a try. Don't listen to those one star reviews that say they don't give you enough food that's not true they came by and gave me seconds of steak and french fries. I absolutely loved it and everyone was very friendly.

Yelp
The line always forms here at least 15-20 minutes before they open, which is always a good sign. This steak frites institution is off the tourist routes and areas, so I find it very authentic and less touristy than others that are recommended out there on social media. They packed us in like sardines in the back of the restaurant once it opened-which is not surprising for a lot of French places that segregate the tourists from the locals or regulars. I took no offense, the food is still the same and the service still attentive and prompt without being intrusive like everywhere in France-and like I wish it would be in the US. No "is everything good?" or "do you need anything else?" or any other silly interruptions like that. You just get salad, then the steak and frites, and then another plate of steak frites once you're done with the first one. It's a generous portion but not too much. If you like your steak well done, you probably shouldn't order steak in France, if you order bien cuit (well done) you'll still get what probably many Americans might consider medium to medium rare. If you order medium rare it will be rare. Don't let that stop you-it's all delicious and even a non-steak eater that came with us ate steak and enjoyed it without a doubt. Order some of the house red wine and soak up the delicious sauce with your bread. Don't let the lines or the crowded space inside stop you. This is a classic French institution that has been around for ages, all the waitresses are dressed in classic french uniform and have been there forever, and the food is great. And don't forget to save room for Profiteroles for dessert!

Yelp
I came here with some friends and we had a phenomenal experience. The wine, food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. We waited in line for a table for about 20-30 minutes, but it was worth it! They only serve steak frites, and the steak was cooked perfectly! The sauce on top of the steak was divine and you also get 2 servings of the food, so we left extremely full! You get a salad with honey mustard dressing before the meal the dressing really impressed us because it had a little kick to it. The service was really great too. They kept coming around with more steak frites until we had to say no because we were so full. My friends and I each tried a dessert too and they were all delicious, but the 3 layer chocolate ice cream cookie cake was to die for! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Le Relais is an experience, no doubt about it. They serve one entrée and one entrée only: steak frites. The restaurant opens at 6:45 PM, but if you show up at 6:40 PM like we did, expect to find a small crowd already queued up. We missed the first seating by about 15 people. Worth noting--groups larger than two get skipped over often in favor of couples, so your party size can really affect your wait. We waited just over an hour and made the second wave. Once seated, the server is immediately asking how many servings of steak you want and what wine to pair with it. The table is still warm from the last party--it's clear they're trying to turn tables quickly for a third (and maybe fourth) round. The food comes out fast and hot. The server plates half your steak and fries and covers it in their signature sauce, leaving the second half warming nearby under a flame until you're ready. The portions are modest--just a few cuts of steak per round--but the pacing works and keeps the line moving. The steak and fries were fine. Not life-changing, but enjoyable. Pro tip: use the hot mustard on the table--it adds a welcome kick. The real standout? The desserts. We tried the chocolate cream puff and the strawberry whipped creation--both were phenomenal and easily the most memorable part of the meal. If you're up for a bit of a wait and want a classic Parisian experience, this place delivers. Just temper your expectations on the steak and come hungry for dessert.

Yelp
This was our first restaurant we tried in Paris we waited about 45 minutes to enter. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT lol the steak frits were phenomenal but the other best part is if you don't eat steak they have a French fry platter with salad and a cheese platter! I was in heaven lol whatever the sauce is made of for the fries and steak is something I have never tried before. The order of steak and fries comes with two plates worth and a third of just steak so it's a lot of food for a small menu. The desserts were also great and tasty. Highly recommend I will be trying the NYC location as well now that I know we have one in the city

Yelp
We were seated almost immediately, the hostess was very nice. We sat in a long combined table of 8 with different pairs on each end. Which is very different from what I'm used to. I once heard that all they ask you is "how would you like your steak cooked" and it's true that's the first thing they told me because asking me what I'd like to drink. Almost immediately we got a salad and it was good, a little spicy for my taste. The steak and fries were served shortly after that. At first I was like "this is it" but the end of my plate I was like it's good it's filling but what I didn't realize is that there's a part 2. When they come around with more fries and more steak. It was cooked to perfection the fries were a nice compliment to the steak. After that we ordered desert, it was good but ehh. Definitely worth going and waiting for a table.

Yelp
Must try steak frites with secret green sauce! The wait is no joke, tourists and locals alike line up for 40 ~ 90 mins to dine at this extremely popular establishment. I was introduced to it by my French colleagues 14 years ago and having been coming here every time I visit Paris. Service here is real French style: non-pretentious, direct and efficient. It has a straight toward menu where everyone is served the same amazingly fresh and delicious walnut salad, baguette, steak and frites twice (half portion each to keep it fresh), and the only difference is choice of drinks and desserts (yes, plural, try as many as you can!). While the steak quality is not too grade (and you are not charged as such), it's on the leaner side which matches perfectly with the mystery butter herb sauce.

Yelp
A charming classically French restaurant with the simplest menu in the world: You will get an appetizer, sliced sirloin, cooked to your preference, with fries, wine, and dessert. No chicken, no fish, no vegan options. The waitresses are cheerful and friendly, actually charming, and in their uniforms, they almost are like Disney characters in the best possible interpretation of that The ambience is old-school French and the restaurant is just a wonderful place to be. I've been several times and always come away with fun thoughts, pleasant memories and even conversations with adjacent tables that seem to happen here like nowhere else.

Yelp
Love this place! We've been to other locations in Geneva, Zurich, New York City and now the original in Paris. Great steak frites, always nice staff and tables are a bit close together but it's a charming vibe.

Mary H.

Yelp
So good! Go early or late to avoid the lines. Worth the wait and bring your appetite. Our server was fabulous. She explained how it worked since there is only one main dish served.
google avatar

Lorenz K.

Yelp
The menu is simple, steak and fries. They start you off with a plate of bread and green salad with walnuts then ask you how you would like your steak cooked. I ordered it medium which was perfect. It was tender and the sauce that accompanied it was delicious. They give you two rounds of steak servings with fries. I asked for the extra sauce that the steak was soaked in poured over my fries and that was good. The restaurant is a two story building and had quite a few tables to accommodate people throughout the night.

Yelp
The blonde hostess was so rude and racist. We were waiting in line to go in and she kept letting other people that were white in front of us with the same party size. She had us waiting without acknowledging us and then she slammed the door in our faces and rolled her eyes and left us outside. Never have we experienced such racism. The treatment was despicable.

Yelp
Incredible food! Incredible ambiance! Impressed! Thoroughly enjoyed! Simply but superb! Our waitress was personable & the environment was magical! Stunning architecture! A Paris, France must!

Yelp
Le Relais is a one horse show. You come to France (Paris) and you want steak and fries, that's what you get. Pretty good, too. Our only options were drinks, limited list of wines along with a full bar, and desert, 8 items. When I visited chocolate or strawberry focused. A sterotypical French restaurant on the inside, if there is room you will be seated right away. But that is not likely to happen, a line starts forming by 6pm and they don't open for dinner til 7p. Snugged right up against each other, the tables are pulled out so those sitting along the wall can be seated. Then they are trapped til the meal is over. Almost right away, you will be presented with a salad and bread. I believe the dressing was walnut horseradish. During this time, your drink order will be taken and then on cue the main course arrives: steak and fries (frites). You have the option of rare or medium (which is still pretty red). The sauce is excellet and it isn't bad on the fries either. I ended the meal with a shell filled with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and whipped cream. I do not regret having it. The staff is numerous and know their part perfectly. Many have conversational English and probably some other languages. Nothing is slowing them down. Once your meal is finished you will have the check presented. Overall, French dining is very relaxed and social, even in the busiest places. Le Relais is the most industrial experience I have had. Being from the US I am used to it, but the France I want a more local experience.
google avatar

Courtnie C.

Yelp
Le Relais de Venise - Son Entrecôte in Paris excels in simplicity with a straightforward menu. You start with the same salad, and the only choice you make is how you want your steak cooked. The steak is the star of the meal, complemented by excellent hot, fresh fries and a tasty sauce. A second helping is included as standard, ensuring you leave satisfied. Service is impressively quick. Be aware that they don't take reservations, so you likely have to wait (line around the block at times) unless you arrive close to closing time (~11 pm) and get lucky.
google avatar

Troy B.

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite dining experiences ever. The line can get very long, but I thought it was worth the wait. I came here with two others and we waited in line for about 40 minutes or so. I'd highly recommend coming well before they open so you can get in on the first wave. We made it pretty close, but had to wait a bit after they opened. It's an amazing concept to be able to eat all the Steak Frites that your heart desires, and theirs is incredible. It may not look like much but the meat is juicy, tender, and the sauce really pulls it together. The fries are also the perfect level of crispy. The waitresses come around and fill up your plates as your plate gets empty. The desserts here are also fantastic. We had Le Vacherin du Relais, which was basically a tower of meringue and icecream. I was SO full but of course, devoured this.

Armando M.

Yelp
Easily the worst meal I've had in Europe. I've got shoes whose leather is more tender than the paper thin steak served here. When I commented on how tough the meat was they brought more sauce to put on it. Extremely bad. The restaurant is so small we got moved upstairs where we shared a table for four. Save your money!
google avatar

Billy T.

Yelp
The place opens at 7, but there was already a line outside the door at 6:20 when we showed up. Once it opens up, this place is an absolute machine at churning through people. This isn't your average French restaurant that you spend two hours or more at - we were here for not even an hour. The service starts immediately - you're given salad and bread to start, they ask how you want your steak cooked, and it's off to the races. Within 15 or 20 minutes, you have your first round of steak and fries. The steak isn't the most appealing, but it's seasoned very well and tasty. As for the fries, I found them to be alright. They give you a couple of free refills too. This place isn't for everyone, so know what you're getting into before you come here.
google avatar

Amit M.

Yelp
Unique spot that only serves steak and fries. There's no menu, and the only thing you specify is how you want your meat cooked. You start with salad and bread to start and then everyone is served two plates of steak and fries. Overall, it's a very simple dining experience but hits the spot if you're in the mood for it. Also, they open at 7pm and don't take reservations and the line gets really long so make sure to get here early and line up before opening.

Yelp
Went on an easy saturday for an early lunch got seated for a table for 6 got seated within 15 mins. This place only has salad steak and frites so you have to know they perfected the steak and fries. Gotta love the 37 dollar deal. The salad is light and crisp with a great tangy sauce the nuts are a perfect compliment adding a great crunch with a tart sweet sauce. the steak portion is perfect size being filling but of high quality steak is perfectly cooked perfect pink med rare. The sauce is is perfectly balanced adding a tartness and saviorness also the sauce was a perfect compliment to the perfectly golden brown fries with perfect lvl of crispiness. The service is prompt and quick with great efficiency with the waitresses writing the steak temp directly on the table. When a resturant only has one item they can make it super quick and efficiently. I love the trolly system that adds to the vibe and gives it more of a paris feel and the uniforms add to the authenticity of the place. It is a place that you need to experience!

Yelp
Best Entrecôte in Paris. Each time we go to Paris we have to have dinner at least one night at this place. It never disappoints.

Abbey M.

Yelp
Food was really good, however, waiting almost 2 hours in line - depends on how much time you have. They only serve salad, steak and fries with secret sauce. It was good & the experience is really what you are there for. However it is slightly rushed. The almond dessert was great. Atmosphere is nice, small spaces.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious! The line is intimidating, but once the restaurant opens it accommodates a lot. We sat in the cozy upstairs portion of the restaurant. Steak and fries were delicious. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Came here for with pretty high expectations with all the long lineup. We lined up for about 45 min to get our party for 6 seated. Once seated they only asked how do we want the steak. They have no menu, and everyone get the same menu served. You get salad, baguette, steak frites, and selection of desserts. Food was disappointing, the star of the night, the steak was supposed to be medium rare but it was definitely overcooked. It was really dry and sad. The green sauce that everyone talked about was basically mix of herbs and the juice from the meat itself (maybe that's why the steak was so dry???). Fries was actually pretty good, it's crunchy and absorb the sauce well. There is nothing remarkable from the salad and baguette. Dessert was pretty good. People call this place comfort food but what do I know. I personally think this place is overhyped.

Sylvia V.

Yelp
We waited in line for 40 minutes only to be passed over 3 times for groups exactly the size of ours. I thought it was because we were American. Nope. This happened to 3 other groups as well. One Spanish group, one English group and the last was a couple speaking French but of mixed race. The lady working as the hostess said she only spoke French and didn't understand us even though we indicated our group size by holding up the quantity with our actual fingers. It was blatant racism. We left and had a wonderful, welcoming experience at Cafe L'Etoile 1903.
google avatar

Adriana R.

Yelp
The meal was very tasty - simple salad and the steak and fries were delicious. The wine was reasonably priced and we were served quickly. We sat on the second floor and enjoyed the atmosphere. Plan on coming again!
google avatar

Julie Ying X.

Yelp
Let's be honest, the reason you came here is that it's a good deal. It's 30 euros for a salad appetizer, a generous portion of steak frites (steak with French fries), and unlimited French fries. You can also order drinks and dessert. The line is always long but it moves fast especially if your party is only two people. I do like the mustard butter steak sauce here and you can request a lot if you desire. I came on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 PM and waited 20 minutes which was not bad. I ordered my steak medium. They give you two servings of steak and unlimited fries. The steak was tender and I do like how the fries here were thin and crispy. The second serving had hotter and fresher fries. Service can be slow since it's packed but still friendly. Also, they have a sandwich shop (Le Marais, 4th arrondissement) that sells the same steak frites in a sandwich for 14-20 euros which is good as well!
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
The French fries are excellent, hot and salty. The steak is good. The service was a little too pushy. The waitress walks up to our table and says, "steak rare, medium, or well done". We had no ideal that they only have one item on their menu. We liked the all you can eat fries and steak.
google avatar

Michele G.

Yelp
The best simplest restaurant in Paris and very delicious and fairly priced. The ambience needs improvement but I don't care it's Paris and amazing food big big portions.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and very attentive staff. The ambiance was refined however very inviting. The waiter was very willing to provide wine insights. I highly recommend this establishment.

Brenna C.

Yelp
Very unique experience in Paris. No menu, just a house salad, steak & frites. Sauce on the steak looks unappealing but it's very good. My favorite part was the dessert! I get the hype but was just okay for me.

Ji C.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst experience. Only if I could go back in time and save myself from wasting my taste buds, time, and emotions.. - after 1.5hrs of waiting in cold (yes, no one's fault, my choice), we were called in. My wife got a work call right before and had to take it outside. As I walked in, the host/manager(?) saw me alone and started yelling at me to go back outside as I was by myself. I said she's right outside answering a quick call but still said insisted I go out. My wife walked in right away and host/manager(?) walked away after rolling her eyes and lamenting, aiyaiyai.. I normally would have stopped here and walk out but couldn't waste the 1.5hrs wait in cold (Alas, I should have) - was hoping this place's hype is really for its great food that can erase everyone's long wait and awful service. Nope. Nope. Nope. Steak felt like rubber (spet out 2/3 of it). Fries were soggy (didn't expect to have my worst "french" fries in France). So sad that my last meal in Paris ended this way....
google avatar

Kobayashi S.

Yelp
Came for the experience and was intrigued by the one item on the menu. Just as any other review, you get 2 servings. The food was great, the mustard dressing a little too strong for my liking, but it was still delicious. Fries were fresh, hot, and crispy. Meat was cooked to your liking. The only downfall was the wait. Although I knew there would be some waiting, we waited for 2 hours in line. We were told that based on where we were in line, it would be approximately 45 minutes. Be prepared to wait. For someone who has back problems, it made the wait uncomfortable. I'm still rating 5 stars since the food and service were top-notch. Fyi... This restaurant is not children friendly, although welcomed it is extremely tight inside. The families I did see with children looked uncomfortable.

Yelp
Food was average at best, service matched a canteen style.... With an attitude of a turn and get you out of here, seats squashed into very nook and cranny!

Yelp
They open at 7pm, you really have to line up around 6:15-6:30! We got there close to 7:30pm and there was a huge line around the corner! Although if you were party of 2 it was quicker! We got in closer to 75 minutes wait. We were expecting 2 hours wait at least! But since there was a huge party of 12, they had to wait longer while tables of 2 kept getting called. Basically as soon as you got in it was one big communal tables of two out together to make a big table! As soon as you sat down they throw down bread and salad and ask how you like the steak done and your beverage of choice. We picked a bottle of red which was -€19! Not even the basic house red which I think was €16! After the serve you the steak and frites they bring you a second portion! You also have a dessert menu but we were stuffed at this point! Steak frites was €30 per person no frills! Plus wine came to €79! Great meal great price! Service was fast and efficient, no frills! It's not fine dining but wonderful meal for our first evening in Paris! Will definitely be back again.

Yelp
I believe it could have been better for parisian food. In my opinion, the food was just more like a comfort food. Rather than going to a fastfood chain, it is better to come here to get steak frites. The salad the bread the steak the fries and the sauce and even the dessert they are all just basic

Yelp
As my Parisian Friends call this place the spaghetti factory/Olive Garden of Paris... made famous by so call 'influencers' from IG and TicTok... you won't find French folks waiting 45minutes in line for very marginal 'steak' and bad fries! For about the same price you can find much better steak down the street at Le Hameau! The atmosphere is loud and uncomfortable... if this is once in a lifetime trip to Paris... Please Please Please skip this place! This is 'NOT' French cuisine ... there are so MANY better restaurants in Paris for you limited stay! do not trek all the way to the 17th for this!!

Yelp
The best food I had while in Paris. You should not miss this meal. The line may be long however it moves relatively quickly.

Yelp
The still food is good but they've cut a few corners. So be prepared! They've changed so much since Covid. They will bully you for a tip. They also changed the quality of beef. The steak is a cheaper cut now. The sauce is still great!

Yelp
Love this place. Everything was wonderful! The steak was great and the fries are cooked just how we like them! Wine and service was good too.

Yelp
The food was good, the wait time was crazy. Inside it is crowded, very crowded. In order to allow someone up from the table to use the restroom the entire group has to get up. It is very chaotic and loud. Overall, get there early, try a weeknight, come with patience.

Yelp
Steak & fries. No ketchup, no A1. Yup, steak, fries, & their buttery green sauce. Portions are on the small side but their steak (looks like flank or flap meat) accompanied by their buttery green sauce was tasty. Their fries are delicious. They taste like fresh cut fries and crispy on the outside. Only thing missing was ketchup. I love ketchup!

Yelp
Okay so let me preface this by saying that first and foremost I am pesco-vegetarian, so this was never going to be the restaurant for me as I believe their specialty is steak. In fact, we were led here by one of my more carnivorous family members. The place itself is actually quite charming and it seems to be a rather popular spot as every seat in the house was filled. I'm not sure how "the menu" works but everyone at the table got the exact same dish of steak and fries with some interesting green sauce. I just had the fries and dipped them in the green sauce, which was actually pretty tasty. We also got an assortment of cheeses which I found to be.. funky (both in taste and smell). I understand that's the appeal, but I just could not get into it. Service was great though! This place is definitely energetic and warm. Overall my family seemed to enjoy their meal. I would offer up more stars if there were more for me to eat besides French fries and sauce
