Le Shrimp Noodle Bar - Review - Glendale - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The Americana at Brand just landed a new location of dumpling spotParadise Dynasty, and now its sibling concept Le Shrimp Noodle Bar has arrived next door. As the name suggests, the menu at this casual spot revolves around shrimp: shrimp noodles, shrimp and chicken wontons, ebiko prawn paste meatballs, and a shrimp taco in a fried wonton shell. If you’re not feeling shellfish, there’s also a hainan chicken dish exclusive to this location." - Cathy Park

Google
Review: Le Shrimp at Brand I recently had the opportunity to visit Le Shrimp at Brand, a unique venue that has merged with another restaurant, and was eager to try their offerings. Overall, I was impressed by the friendly personnel and affordable prices, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. Upon arrival, I noticed a bit of food on the floor, but given that we visited during the last hour before closing, I expected a bit more attention to detail, especially in a new establishment. The venue itself was pretty and well-decorated, providing a pleasant setting for a meal. I ordered the signature Trio Shrimp Noodle dish, which had good flavor and featured organic ingredients, a plus for health-conscious diners. However, the dish lacked spices, making it somewhat unremarkable despite its healthy profile. It was a great option for those seeking a nutritious meal, but I was left wanting more depth of flavor. My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the place, which should be impeccable, especially given the low attendance during my visit. As a new establishment, Le Shrimp at Brand has potential, and I hope they address these areas to elevate their offering. Despite these improvements, I'd return to try other dishes, drawn by the affordable prices and friendly service. With some tweaks, Le Shrimp at Brand could become a standout in the area. Rating: 3.5/5 stars

Google
It was good soup! 🦐 Shrimpy broth, nice crunch in the fresh prawns, and the hot sauce on the side is a MUST. delicious Mala spice leaves your tongue slightly numbed 😆 the thin noodles were my favorite. Never tried a flavor soup like this before, worth a try. About an hour wait so be prepared to wait!

Google
Great food, great staff… the noodle bar is actually calling to me right now. Gotta go back

Google
Absolutely loved this place! The shrimp broth noodles with chicken were amazing—so rich, flavorful, and comforting. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, and her recommendation was spot on. The dish came out perfectly warm, which made it even more satisfying. You can really taste the care that goes into the broth. Great service, great food, and a cozy experience overall. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
Great to finally try this brand new restaurant. Food was super delicious with deep flavors. Loved both the shrimp broth and the chicken broth. Noodles are high quality. Appetizers on the menu were great and came at a fair price. Space is clean and attractive. A bit small so best for groups of two. Service was a bit uneven as they are still understaffed and trying to figure things out. Definitely a promising new restaurant for Glendale.

Google
Food is decent but poor service ruins the experience. Numerous items on menu were sold out in middle of weekday afternoon. Restaurant seems confused on their identity, whether it is a fast casual spot or sit-down service. So they have gone with the fun QR ordering system, with a server basically just there to bring food to table. Unfortunately, even that proved too difficult. My partner’s noodles came out 10 minutes before mine, and all that could be said from the server was “I just bring out the food when it’s ready.” The bare minimum should be trying to bring out a couples order together… they actually brought out the add-ons to my order before bringing me the soup, so my extra prawns just sat there getting cold. Overall, not a great dining experience and while the food was pretty good, not eager to return!

Google
Food is fantastic, some of the best I ever had when it comes to shrimp ramen, but the service is some of the most atrocious I ever had. They clearly have no protocols on how to tend to tables. Waiters are slow and confused, except for like 1 of them and a manager. And for Heavens sake fix the damn door.

Google
Le Shrimp just opened and it had everything you want on a cold evening. We had the shrimp bowl. The ingredients tasted fresh and homemade. The broth wasn’t too powerful too. We had a couple of the appetizers as well. The presentation for all the plates looked amazing too. Would recommend this spot if you’re looking a bowl of noods while shopping at the Americana.

Yelp
Came here for dinner after walking around the Americana with the family, saw a BOGO for this noodle shop and was pretty surprised. Food was amazing! Had the shrimp and chicken ramen. Very shrimpy though. Service was quick and friendly, everyone made sure we were taken cared for. Thanks le shrimp team

Michael D.

Yelp
Went here on 11/22 around 8:30pm. Restaurant is clean and today was busy. Staff looked a bit overworked but they did amazing. They also have a BOGO till Wednesday for grand opening. Had the signature trio and my girl had the dry noodle. AMAZING!!! Glad something like this opened up in Glendale

Isaiah G.

Yelp
First time here! Went here for lunch. Restaurant is super clean, server were friendly and quick. They did apologize for the lateness due to their machine going down. I had the chicken broth and wonton. Broth is heavy and rich.

Yelp
NEW SPOT at the Americana! Went here on a sunday and stumbled upon it. They have a BOGO for their grand opening. I had the Signature trio, cautions very shrimpy. Flavor was very unique but i don't think i can have it too often probably once in a while. Service was quick! The staff did look exhausted but props to them on trying to make it through.

Yelp
Food is great, however, I think the servers need more training. Don't get me wrong they are nice, but there's something missing. The guy speaks so soft but very respectful. The girl on the other hand feels like a strong personality but nice. The thai chili sauce took a long time because they said they cannot find it?! I asked the girl something and she said she will follow up, but she never got back to me and I never ask again. Ambiance is okay. Clean. You need to use the restroom of the paradise dynasty (their sister company) just beside them. Waiting is not that bad. You have to join the waitlist in their tablet and list your name outside. I would come back for the food.

Yelp
Came over here and didn't realize it was a separate restaurant than the dumpling place next-door. First and foremost, you need to love shrimp. And I'm not just talking about shrimp cocktails or fried shrimp or temper shrimp I mean honest shrimp. The soup specializes in a broth that is fresh out of the ocean shrimp. Was it good? Yes if you're into that. A little too pungent for us and for our taste. They also have dishes that you can say are either inspired by dinner Thai Fung, or were stolen by Din Tai Fung. But at the end of the day it's a little bit more unique. And a cheaper option if you're looking for something different. Will be back again, probably not. Again it's just way too much of a strong shrimp fishy taste for us. They were experiencing some grand opening headaches and we can understand that. So this is solely based on the cost to what you get ratio and just a certain lack of variety and a slight lack of service. Nice location now you can shop the Americana Antro over for a cup of shrimp water.

Yelp
Verrrrry flavorful, shrimpy broth! Decent amount of shrimp too, since I got the shrimp trio. Although, I was hoping for more stuff in there. I got the thick noodles (you can get that or regular) and they don't put much noodles, and there's not much else except from .. shrimp lol hardly any veggies or anything else. Otherwise service was great; we came in on a friday night and there was no wait, just for two people. And I guess if you're wanting more Chinese variety, it's part of Paradise Dynasty, the bigger restaurant it's connected to. Not sure if I'll come back but congrats on the opening!

Yelp
Wonton shrimp broth was so yummy and the soy chicken with noodles was amazing! The food came out quick so that was nice. The wait for this place was unbelievably sloooow. Sure, there were a lot of names on the wait list HOWEVER I stood outside waiting the whole time and they were just so slow at bussing/cleaning tables. At one point, half of the restaurant was empty with dirty dishes!!! At other points of my wait, the tables were bussed but not set up- they didn't bother to move forward with the next on the wait list. Maybe they're understaffed? Not sure... but at least get those empty tables filled when there's a list of people waiting!

Yelp
Visited Le Shrimp on a Saturday during Thanksgiving weekend and was pleasantly surprised that the wait was only about 15 minutes for our party of three. The restaurant is small and connected to its sister spot, Paradise Dynasty. I ordered the Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle and WOW...so much depth in the broth, tons of shrimp, and that addictive wok hei flavor. Super unique and definitely not your typical ramen. If shrimp isn't your thing, the menu also has plenty of rice dishes and dry noodle options, so you're not limited to the shrimp bowls. Only downside is my eyes were puffy the next day, which I'm pretty sure came from how concentrated the shrimp stock was. Beware if you have a shellfish allergy! Parking tip: park on the side streets or the alley away from the Americana and Brand Blvd. to avoid all the traffic.

Yelp
I saw on social media about the new location in Glendale offering BOGO. I decided to give it a try. For the BOGO deal, you can choose any bowl (NO CoMBO). We were given a menu and were happy to see all the options. We all were disappointed when we scanned the QR code to place the order. Most of the items were sold out. The crispy chicken, Hainan chicken, and other items were not available. We ended up with the dry noodles w/veggies, shrimps & chicken spicy wide noodles, prawns & chicken wontons thin noodles, and the scallion soy sauce chicken thin noodles. We noticed that we got lesser noodles with wide noodles. So I guess thin noodles would be the better choice. Thin noodles also tasted better. We all agreed that all the noodle bowls would be really good if it was less salty. The broths were flavorful but all were super salty. Even the dry noodle sauces were super salty. Service was good RR AVAIL Note: Le Shrimp is connected with Paradise Dynasty. However, we were not allowed to cross order. We asked if we can order the XLB, but the staff said we cannot. Sad It was located like next to Crumbl... BOGO only avail till Nov 26, 2025

Yelp
11/11/2025 - This restaurant, which is a Singaporean restaurant that specializes Ramen that brings delicious and rich soup, had a soft opening on Oct. 23, 2025 and will have an official Grand Opening on Nov. 21, 2025. You can walk from this restaurant indoor connected to the PARADISE DYNASTY next door under the same roof since the same owner opened the two restaurants simultaneously Oct. 23, 2025. The service is also excellent! You can park just across the restaurant with a meter parking lot at $3 per hour or park at the mall for free, but require a 10-minute walk..

Yelp
So excited to finally try Le Shrimp bar in LA!! We came within the first week of their opening and had a great meal here. I had the shrimp ball soup noodles with wide noodles, and my boyfriend had the special with regular noodles. The broth was so tasty, full of umami and wok hei (taste of the hot fire of the wok, as advertised!). It was reminiscent of shrimp ramen we had in Hokkaido. The shrimp balls were bouncy and there was some veg in there as well. Overall a really tasty bowl of noodles! My only qualm is that my noodles were cooked a bit too much for my liking so didn't have a snappy bite that I would want in a soup this thick and full of flavor. Wide noodles were similar to a tsukemen width of noodle, while the thin ones were ones you might find in a classic tonkotsu broth. Nevertheless, staff was super kind and doing a great job already on their first week of opening. I will certainly be back if I'm in the area! Great spot for a pre movie meal!

Yelp
We came here for dinner today 11/22; our experience was pretty disappointing. The shrimp broth noodles were good, but the service was underwhelming. They seated us at the farthest table at the end of the restaurant, so we basically were ignored the entire night. We had to ask them for water several times. Even after we finished eating for over 15 minutes, nobody came to check up on us. I walked up to them to ask for the check and togo box, but they never ended up giving us the check. I had to go up to them again a second time after 10 mins. They seemed to be attentive and helping the customers who were seated closer in the restaurant, but since we were at the farthest end table in the walkway we were completely neglected by the severs. On top of that, there's bogo free for their main noodles until 11/26, but the one of the workers tried to charge us full price too. I had to bring it up to her before she fixed it. Overall extremely disappointed in how we were treated here.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Well, I'd tell you how the food was but 45 minutes later, we have not gotten our food. They said others who came 20 minutes after us got their food before due to different processes...it looks like they need to revisit their processes. Food finally came after multiple follow ups and I was like where's the cabbage? There, that's the cabbage( see photo ) My cousin's soup came

Yelp
My favorite ramen place opened at Americana! I love love le shrimp for their unique broths. Came here during soft opening and decided to switch things up and tried their new Hainan chicken dish and it was so delicious. The chicken was very soft and goes very well with the sauces. The sauces were my favorite! Alexis and Lon the managers were so friendly and attentive. Service was amazing as always! I can't wait to come back. I highly recommend the Hainan chicken!
google avatar

Samantha Z.

Yelp
Went here for their last day of BOGO. All I have to say is excellent service, servers and managers were so accommodating even though they were short staffed. Food was amazing as well!

Katherine W.

Yelp
I got the Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle. The broth was good, very shrimpy. The wontons were ok just flat tasting. The plating was so horrible. The plating told me: they hate their job; they weren't properly trained; they just dgaf.

Jeremy T.

Yelp
Nice option for a ramen alternative in Glendale where there aren't too many standout ramen shops nearby since Tsujita closed up at Americana years ago. First impression: the broth is very shrimp-forward compared to more traditional ramen broths. Pretty tasty but probably not the healthiest if you want to drink every last drop. Also includes three tail-on shrimp, two shrimp balls, and a shrimp wonton, as well as some bits of grilled cabbage for balance. So yes, this is a very shrimpy dish if you love shrimp. I might try one of the bowls that includes soy chicken with the shrimp next time for a bit more variety of flavor.

Yelp
We came on Wednesday around 11:30 am , the place was half full. The server brought us the QR code to scan for order. We ordered 2 ramen and a Hainan chicken rice. We ordered right away but the ramen took almost 30 mins to come out. The broth is on the sweet side, soft noodles, the shrimp ball is the only thing I like about this bowl of ramen. We finished the ramen and the Hainan chicken rice still hasn't came out. We probably waited for another 20 mins after we finished the ramen then it came out but with bloody bones so we asked one of the worker if this is normal and he said he didn't think it was normal so he took it back and cooked more. Almost anther 20 mins went by I wanted to cancel because it was way too long to wait then finally it came out. The rice is very salty the chicken was good but not special. No refill water. No service from server
google avatar

Dora G.

Yelp
Kind and welcoming employees. A go to place for a rainy or cold weather because of their warm broths with noodles and meat of choice. They have a waiting list by the way.

Christina P.

Yelp
This review is for our visit on 12/04 Thursday evening. Definitely love this place and since they opened it was our 4th time eating here, however this time the broth was extremely salty, i wasn't able to finish my food. My husband and son ate the noodles but also left the broth. We had to keep drinking water while eating and hours after the meal too. We told the server after we paid, that it was very salty, he went right away to the kitchen and checked on it. It was nice that he was very apologetic for it. I hope they stay consistent with the broth, and let this be a one time thing.
google avatar

Yelp
there were so many great options on the menu i had a hard time trying to pick one but i really loved what i got, the braised scallion soy chicken noodle. great portion, very comforting meal and very fast service!

Yelp
In an ever constant world of soup joints, a disruptor is born. Ramen, pho, Tom Yum look out. Shrimp noodle soup has arrived. Bring your tastebuds and an appetite. This soup is rich, delicious and will set you on your way. I'll be bookmarking for cool days.
google avatar

Yelp
The noodles didn't taste as good as in the pictures; the kitchen staff weren't very skilled.

Yelp
Le Shrimp just opened and it had everything you want on a cold evening. We had the shrimp bowl. The ingredients tasted fresh and homemade. The broth wasn't too powerful too. Yelp
Amazing taste of shrimp broth mixed with large shrimp and wonton. Try and you'll like it. Cheers!
google avatar

Charlene K.

Yelp
Came during their soft opening! The shrimp soup base is a very unique and novel experience, compared to the typical meat broths-- though I do wish there was a bit more depth in flavor. Otherwise, service was great and the restaurant is clean.
google avatar

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, but I won't be returning. The chicken rice portions were extremely small for both steamed and fried, especially compared to Heng Heng Chicken where the same price gets you double the amount. On Black Friday, the restaurant was slow but service was inattentive even at the bar. My trio shrimp noodle order wasn't entered correctly, arrived missing ingredients, and the broth was over-seasoned. Overall, disappointing food and service.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here on my lunch break. It's there soft opening. Their grand opening is Nov 21th. Their menu is very different compared to to other ramen neither the less it was very tasty! Service was quick and easy. The store is very clean.

Surisa S.

Yelp
What a hole in a wall!! My parents and I stumbled upon this noodle bar after shopping. Our server Lon did mention it was their soft opening. He recommended the A1 signature trio. It comes with prawns, ebiko prawn balls and wonton. The flavor was very shrimpy but smoky. Was told that it has a smoky taste due to it being cooked on the wok. They're also giving out vouchers. Very nice unique place! Must try

Jonathan B.

Yelp
First of all, the food. The food is actually pretty good. That shrimp broth is the most unique thing on the menu, and I did enjoy it on a cold day. I like that the prices are much more reasonable here than they are at Paradise Dynasty, so I could have seen myself coming to Le Shrimp more regularly. However, the logistics are pretty terrible. It was 9 p.m. in the evening, weekend, so, in fairness to them, at the Americana in December, weekends are busy. However, there seemed to have been two tables empty for every table that was full. I asked if they could accommodate one person. The waiter who seemed to be doing front of house asked me to wait and consulted someone in the back. He then told me to go to the ipad and put myself on the waitlist because there was a line. I checked the ipad, and it said the wait was 33 minutes! I went to Bourbon Steak next door, and they offered to accommodate me immediately. It was, indeed, crowded, certainly more crowded than Le Shrimp, so I politely declined even though I could have been seated at the bar right next to another diner. I went to Bacari, and they seated me immediately without a problem as well. I do not understand how this place works, how it can be brand spanking new but appear to operate this way. I guess they were understaffed? I don't know.

Senliang M.

Yelp
Came here on 11/29 black friday Parking at the americana was insane. it's quite a walk to this ramen spot. Anyways came in with some family for lunch. Had their chicken and rice, it was good came with three sauces (red one is the best). Service was quick and welcoming. big shout out to the manager and drew

Roger H.

Yelp
The soup base is generic and bland Noodles overcooked We ordered the signature dish and wonton noodles Wonton uneventful boring Pine and crane and din tai fun have better ones Photos on the Menü also misleading
google avatar

Mark R.

Yelp
I've always been a ramen lover my whole life and the fact is that Americana Brand is bringing something new to the table has me excited, but we'll see. Upon my time at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar. I can honestly say I've never had anything like this! It's a very enriched flavor which I love. The fact that they have options for the chicken broth, dry noodles, and sides helps you get a full fill the whole experience. My kids are very picky, but when we came here they ate everything and wanted more. Staff very friendly and efficient even in times where it seems hectic. Will be back next week!!
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
This place is good. Like it's really good. I want to give it a lower rating bc everyone tells me I'm too nice, but the staff took such good care of us and the food was so delicious I... can't . It's just an amazing place to eat. Why are you even reading this right now? Go, get yourself to Glendale. Now!

Dinh D.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this location, and I was really impressed from the moment I walked in. The space feels clean, refreshing, and welcoming. I was assisted by Lon, who was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The food was phenomenal. The flavors were rich but still light and satisfying. I'm not usually a noodle person, but the broth here always wins me over. It's balanced, comforting, and doesn't leave you feeling heavy afterward. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Ligaya F.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Noodles were tasty and they give generous serving of shrimps and shrimp balls. My family enjoyed the food. Service was excellent . We found our new favorite place for ramen Very clean

Patsy

Yelp
We ordered the Singapore iconic Hainaniese Chicken Rice which is only available in this outlet for now and it was so good. I am definitely coming back.

Yelp
We got the a1 Noodle Soup it was delicious the broth was rich in shrimp flavor. Our server Becca was awesome she was so nice and helped us with the menu..

Yelp
Third location! Came here on Friday, very busy Black Friday at Americana. Did not know they opened a third location. Food and service always good here.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Came here 11/25 for dinner! Waitlist was insane. They seem very popular for grand opening. They have a buy one get one free for their opening, ends tomorrow! I had the shrimp wonton in shrimp broth, i can describe it as shrimpy and unique. it's good but wouldn't have it so often. Service was quick! Staff and managers we're friendly

Nevea L.

Yelp
Went here after Black Friday! Parking was crazy. Had the a1 signature trio very shrimpy but enjoyable. 5 star for the service, thank you for taking care of our big party.

Kevin C.

Yelp
BOGO for grand opening?! Amazing! Came here after ahopping at the americana very busy so be prepare to wait. Had their new dish chicken rice, heard it was thr first to he release here at this location taste just like the one i had in Singapore. Service was fast, they looked a bit over work but theybdid good

Angelique P.

Yelp
Went here for grand opening! Very busy due to the BOGO. Service was good managers were running around to save the day. Food was good. A1 signature trio was amazing. Shrimpy like shrimpy if you're into that go for it.

J L.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner with delicious food and the manager Alexis excellent service made us feel warm like home. The shrimp balls had great flavors and texture. We would love to come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Amazing now spot in jewel city. The broth is rich and Smokey and shrimps were huge and succulent.
