Loved. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s small inside but seating is comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious. The theater prefix was a great deal. We ordered for the appetizer French onion soup and escargot($3 additional charge), for entree steak frites, and cream brûlée for dessert. The steak frites were so good, cooked perfectly, still thinking of those fries. Will be back definitely.

Hands down one of the best duck leg confits I’ve had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, incredibly tender inside, and full of deep, comforting flavor. You can really tell this place cooks with care and passion, nothing feels rushed or touristy. The atmosphere is cozy and genuinely French, and the whole experience felt like a little slice of France in NYC. I’ll absolutely be back.

Magnifique is not even "le mot juste" to describe the experience of dining at Le Tout Va Bien" restaurant. The moment you enter this wonderful establishment you are greeted warmly and welcomed into a very quaint and pleasant space that transports you to a bistro in France. The food is beyond delicious as | still savor the moules provençales, the boeuf bourguignon and mousse au chocolat from this last visit. After closing during the Pandemic, this classic French restaurant reopened in the past year or two. New ownership, but the décor, food and atmosphere have been maintained. It’s a NYC 1960’s French restaurant if anyone remembers the day. They have duck à l’orange, steak au poivre, avec ses frites et sa salade, and carrée d’agneau. The prices are reasonable, especially when you see the portions. It’s on the edge of the theater district and they have a pre-theater menu. They have a good selection of wines along with a full bar.

Very pleasant and authentic French restaurant in New York. I was looking for something simple yet genuinely French in terms of food quality and taste, and this place delivered exactly that. I had the boeuf bourguignon, served with a side of asparagus. Everything was well executed, flavourful, and comforting without being heavy. A great spot if you want honest French food done properly. Highly recommended.

Came here on a Saturday night. I felt so bad for the server - she seemed to be taking care of the whole back room to herself and it was very crowded! Every table was full. They did have people running food and taking plates but the server didn’t have time to check in with us really. The chicken cordon bleu was kind of dry and nothing spectacular. The salmon was okay. The crème brûlée was also just fine. I wish I could’ve enjoyed this place as much as others did!

A true hidden gem in Hell’s Kitchen！The atmosphere is cozy. Food is so good! Steak Frites: perfectly cooked. Fries are very crispy, definitely worth a try. Duck Breast: golden, crispy skin with tender, juicy meat😍😍😍 Mushrooms: Perfect side! Must try! Simple but so flavorful! Escargot: 👍👍👍Tastes good with bread! Highly recommend！✨

We came here for a special event due to the French holiday of "La Chandeleur" or "Candlemas". This holiday is celebrated by eating a lot of crêpes! This restaurant is a hidden gem, it felt like you were transported to France the second you walked in. We were quite literally the only people in the place speaking English, all the workers and all of the customers were speaking French. And I absolutely loved it. As I am currently learning French, I broke through my nervousness and ordered completely in French, and ask and paid for the bill in French as well. The servers were very kind and let me practice and it all went well! The service in general was impeccable! Due to the special event there was a special menu for the crêpes but I believe they sell some of them on their normal brunch menu as well. The buckwheat crêpes we got opened up a new world for me. I've admittedly never been a huge fan of crêpes but these buckwheat ones changed my mind. They were crispy and all the ingredients feel fresh and just paired really well together. I couldn't decide which one I liked more. The Caramel and brown butter one was more similar to what I had in my head and it was also great with the caramel being the highlight! The americano and cappuccino were also drawn out very well and were satisfied with both! This place has a special place in my heart because I am attempting to learn French and this just made it a very special afternoon for me!

We came here yesterday after our matinee - and it was honestly great! The three of us ordered appetizers, drinks, entrees, and dessert. French onion soup was perfect. My mussels and fries - were perfection. They were perfectly cooked, and not even one grain of sand in the entire pot. The duck and the lamb entrees were both great - I was told. Creme brulee and chocolate mousse were both very good. The service, for the most part, was good. I am not giving them 5 stars because no one checked on us after any of our courses were served. The food was put down in front of us, and no one looked at us again until it was time to clear our plates. We'll come back if we're in the area again.

Amazing place! This is a French authentic restaurant with all French cuisine dishes you're used to. We got the duck and beef, both of which were amazing, it was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. For apps we got some snails and break to dip in the oil, so it was really filling. Snails come without a shell. At the end we also got a round of champagne on the house which was really sweet of them.

Just had the best night at Le Tout Vabien--a cozy French bistro right in the theater district! Super romantic vibes with warm lighting and friendly staff who make you feel at home. We kicked things off with their French onion soup (so good!) and the filet mignon was on another level. The Crepe Suzette? It literally came out flaming! If you're planning a night out, definitely book a spot because this place gets packed! Delicious food and great atmosphere- felt like a real Parisian restaurant. Service was quick and food was out fast, we made our show down the street in time. Great meal!

This place was full of Frenchy's which was a good sign! All the patrons I could hear were "Parle Francais.". Super quaint off the path ambience on 51st and 8th, close to the stuff but far enough away from the tourists. Great selection of French wines. Staff is french as far as I could tell . Beet salad was delicious, it actually looked like a beef tartare on presentation. Moules frites tasted like the ocean. The broth was so good! Dessert was the Tarte aux pommes All good, give a try!

Six of us had a quick pre-theater dinner. First time there. My cod was absolutely delicious. The bottle of wine that we had was scrumptious all parties really enjoyed the food.

My friend and I came here for French Restaurant Week. This restaurant was opened since 1948 and was recently reopened under new management. The ambiance was a small and cozy restaurant. We started off with Muscarat and Moscow mule. Then, we followed up with escargots and mussels for appetizers. The escargots were really good. They were comparable to La Grande Boucherie and Bistro Eloise. We loved how the mussels were served and the portion was generous. The mussels were served with opened shells, which cut the work in half for the diner. For the entrees, we ordered the Filet Mignon and Halibut. Portions were generous, and somehow, I started feeling sick after consuming the Halibut. I ate the dish and took the rest home. After heating the leftovers the next day, I was fine. The dessert was personally the highlight of the evening. The crepe suzette is a must order. The presentation was awesome, but I was too full and not 100% to enjoy it, so I took that home where my husband devoured it. The dessert was literally soaked in Grand Marnier. My friend enjoyed her Profitteroles. The restaurant is offering the same prix fixe for restaurant week.

Although the cooking was good, I don't think we'd return. Our visit wasn't very pleasant or relaxing. The server didn't come by to ask if we wanted drinks, and when she finally did come in about fifteen minutes to take dinner orders, we had to ask if there were specials, which then she rattled off. We ordered, barely got in one person's wine glass order in when she walked away without getting the other person's. Wines by the glass were pricey ($17-19-ish) and came in smallish thick 99c store glasses with no room for aeration. Butter served with the bread was ice cold and hard. That kind of echoes our impression of the restaurant. Oh, also, the suggested % tips on the bill are calculated on top of tax.

Long overdue review for the one and only Tout Va Bien! It was a lovely chilly evening and we decided to dine here for my birthday. We had never been before and we were pleased by our experience. Very warm staff, excellent selection of classic French dishes. Our food was fabulous, hot and flavorful. There wasn't a single weak link, everything was on point. The waiters brought out a huge punch bowl of sangria since it was my birthday, that was a very lovely touch. Glad I got to experience this gem. French for everything is good. And it certainly is. Feels like you stepped into a bistro in Paris. Pictured here are shrimp with parsley and garlic butter, the TVB burger, and fries, and just about the best steak frites that I ever had.

I was stunned, amazed, and joyous to see that Tout Va Bien is alive! I used to come here in the 80s and 90s and I'm on a visit to see some shows-walked by, and it's open! Of course we went in and had dinner. I had the hanger steak and it was wonderful just like the old days but better. Run, don't walk to this restaurant and experience bliss. Service was top-notch and the ambience is beautiful.

Good to see this place open again and if you're craving classic French dishes, this is a good one to visit. Everything felt authentic. The Moules Marinieres (mussels) had a great broth that you'd expect.French onion soup was chewy, cheesy, sweet and flavorful. also good was crevettes persillees which had a ton of garlic and buttery broth. The only dish I'd skip was the coq au vin, where the chicken was a little tough and felt too saucy. Overall we enjoyed it and plan to be back!

I wanted to like this restaurant more. The prices are good and the staff friendly but after they kept giving my sparkling water to my friend who doesn't drink sparkling and gave me tuna tartare instead of salmon tartare the best I can say is the staff needs better training. The food is good but not amazing. Where they shine is in the deserts, which was a huge bright spit. I may try this restaurant again in a few months to see if it has improved. I hope it gets it right

A hidden gem in manhattan area @ with nice atmosphere at a reasonable price. Let's start with the one SURPRISED me. Brie en Croûte, Brie cheese in puff pastry with honey and truffle glaze. Cheese lover can't wast any bite. Also. I can't say NO to any kind of Les Tartares, especially TUNA is my favorite. Finish the appetizers? NEED MORE? Let's talk about the ENTRÉES. Do you like DUCK ? Then don't miss Magret de Canard à l'orange, which is duck breast with roasted potatoes green beans and orange sauce Of Course you can't miss Steak Frites, Grass-fed NY Strip tasty REAlly tender was perfectly executed & delicious. You NEED leave more space for the dessert Crème Brûlée and Crêpe Suzette.

I've eaten here in the past I have to say it was a bit disappointing. We ordered our meals upon sitting down and then while still having our entrées the waitress came over with the dessert. I found this to be really rude, kind of saying time to get up and go buddy. When we were done dessert was brought out and we had to say please don't run away could we order coffee please, which came out in little half size cups just a bit larger than espresso cups.The food was OK kind of factory French. And they don't have an air curtain on the door so as it was a cold night there was a constant cold breeze blowing into the room. Pretty disappointing experience.

The name of this delightful bistro means everything is well and everything was superb. Warm, friendly and attentive service Coq au Vin prepared to perfection. Magret de Canard beautifully presented and in an exquisite orange sauce, not the too much sugar or alcohol so often encountered. My wife and I have been lucky enough to have dined in Michilen 2 and 3 star restaurants in France and other countries. Our evening at LTVB was equally enjoyable in every way. Be smart-go there!

I had a wonderful beef bourguignon here. The vibe is laid back friendly but not totally professional service, which is a good thing, just solid go-to traditional French cuisine with nice people helping you.

Merveilleux! I wanted to treat myself for my birthday with delicious French food including escargot and chocolate mousse before going to a Broadway show, so when I saw Le Tout Vas Bien's menu and location I knew it was the perfect place for me. The staff in the cozy bistro was friendly and professional, and I was glad for the opportunity to practice my rusty French. I chose the pre-theater prix fixe menu for $38 and paid an additional $3 for the escargot. Worth every penny! They were juicy and flavorful, and I devoured them and the garlic sauce with pieces of perfect baguette slices. I chose the Salmon Ratatouille entree. I got a nice sized piece of fish that was a tad more cooked in the thinner end than I like (but I'm a sushi fan so what can you do, lol), placed atop a mix of chopped vegetables in a brown sauce. Tasty! The fish was adequately flaky, and all of the flavors were distinct yet complemented each other well in a balanced way. The chocolate mousse was complete perfection. Deep chocolate decadence accented by a fresh sprig of mint, whipped cream, a blueberry, and a sliced strawberry, both at peak ripeness. I refrained from licking the bowl but it was a close call. If I lived in Manhattan I'd consider having it at least once a week. Merci, Le Tout Va Bien! Je reviendrai bientot!

This is the worst dining experience we've had in NYC. The service was absolutely terrible. The lady that doubled as maitre d/bartender/server was rude and inattentive. We arrived at the restaurant for Saturday brunch at 12:15, and the restaurant was not full. I can't comment on the food or even complimentary bread because we were never served despite being seated 25+ minutes. It took the bartender over 5 minutes to initially come to our table, pour 2 glasses of tap water and ask for our selections of drinks and brunch entrees. She did not write down our orders. After 10 minutes more of waiting, the bartender comes back to ask me what drinks we had ordered so I told her it was a coffee and Iced tea. I also asked her again to bring us some bread. Another 10 minutes or so and the bartender returns with a wrong order of diet coke and iced tea. My wife told her that we had ordered a coffee and could she also bring us some bread while we waited for our food. Instead of apologizing for her error and the long wait, she told my wife "to take it down a level". My wife was neither rude nor had raised her voice, and was expressing her frustration at the lack of service. Needless to say, we waited another 5 more minutes before we got up and left. As we were leaving and passing the bar, the bartender asks me what's going on. I explained our reasons for wanting to leave, but instead of being apologetic, the bartender blamed us for not understanding that she was "busy" although the restaurant was not full and other diners were being served. The bartender had been inattentive, rude and incapable of apologizing for the dismal level of service. This is the worst restaurant experience we've ever had in NYC. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are so many other choices of restaurants where you can enjoy good service, and actually receive the drinks, bread and entrees you order. Two thumbs way down!!!!

We had an amazing dinner here and highly recommend le Tout va Bien. My beef tartare was delicious, my husband loved the filet mignon. Our friends had a Sole Meuniere and a steak au Poivre, and said both were absolutely perfect . We were all very impressed with the desserts : a creme brulee, an apple tart, a chocolate lava cake and a wonderful Crepe Suzette, flambéed in front of us. Do not miss the incredible Chocolate soufflé, it's to die for! We will definitely be back.

This is a lovely restaurant, amazing food and great service. Very unpretentious, it's like having dinner at your best friend's house.

The service here is excellent. Our server Aurelie was attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. The entire staff worked seamlessly together to create a seamless dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. My wife and I had the escargot and foie gras for appetizers, both very well prepared and delicious. Mains we had the dover sole and saint jacques. Both dishes exceeded our expectations, especially my wife's as she's a typical French person who complains about the food quality in America. We didn't do dessert as we aren't dessert people but the menu looked tempting. All in all we had a great time and will be definitely going back.

So delighted that Tout Va Bien is back! We just had a glorious meal of steak frites and moules mariniere. Service is timely but unhurried (had oodles of time to get to our Broadway show). The steak was perfectly cooked, the au poivres sauce divine. The mussels were perfectly tender and flavorful, and the sauce so good I was literally drinking it with a spoon. And the French fries with both dishes -- absolute perfection. I was glad we both got fries so I didn't have to share any! I also appreciate that their wines by the glass are reasonably priced by NYC standards (many under $15). Charming, romantic, le bistro parfait!

We found the Tout Va Bien after our show and were nicely surprised by the quality of the food. My cod filet was a beautiful dish and the elevated Blanquette de Veau was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, cool people. We'll definitely come back!-)

Amazing dinning experience in this hidden gem place in the middle of the Manhattan. We start at Brie en Croute, is the fresh warm bread with cheese served. You really don't want to miss this one. Try their steak, perfectly cooked with home made sauce. The most right thing I did that night was leave enough space for the dessert. Everything was good and delicious.

We were so happy to see this neighborhood gem reopen after a 4yr hiatus. New owners (Vincent and Emilia) refreshed and remodeled the space while retaining its original French bistro charm. And speaking of French bistro charm, Roman and William are the perfect hosts. Food, Service and Ambiance, 5 stars!

One of the oldest French spots in manhattan currently, says the owner. I believe it. The vibes are friendly and they have that classic midtown west-restaurant row type space. It's warm and cozy, and the food honestly all looks really good. Admittedly since I'm a whore for steak tartare I always end up getting that as an entree when I'm here. I've had their escargots, classic (hard to mess up). They have a full bar as well, and what is technically a bar but limited bar seating. However I've been sat at the bar every time I've requested so. The steak tartare is delicious and consistent. What's not to like? The portion is huge and it comes with salad, toast points, and shoe string fries! It's honestly quite a bit of food, and all for $25. I'm in.

Adorable basement digs with kitschy decor. The waiters are French and speak French if you speak it to them, you can tell it's a legit spot. Got the steak frites and my SO got the beef stew. So good. Cheese plate came with some fruit and bread, also did not disappoint. Food came out quick and exactly as you'd expect it to be- legit French style. Crime brûlée is one of the best I've had. Will return soon!

Authentic traditional French food (with all the glorious fats and calories). Restaurant is full of nostalgic expats listening to their childhood songs. Good service - makes you feel acknowledged like a human being. The Baked Brie, in a flaky pastry shell and served with balsamic and honey drizzle was really, really, really good. Escargot was not bad though not amazing. Beef bourguignon (beef stew) was good. I'm told most dishes are pretty good. So definitely need to come back and try the rest. We also got free crudités and free chocolate mousse (which was also heavy). Overall a good meal. Seems to be a bit of a hidden gem.

The inside is a bit smaller than it looked from the outside, but I liked the cozy feeling, and is better to control the crowed with family business. When we arrived, they had several empty tables, but they got completely packed quickly. It only has windows up front, so it was a bit dimmed even on a bright day, but that created that extra cozy feel to it. It was equipped with a large bar to the right, and tables packed as much as possible. The first thing they brought to us, which was different from any other restaurant in city we have been to, was the complimentary bread and fresh cut veggies! What a great way to start the meal, very healthy! Since we wanted to try several different kinds of dishes, we decided to order small plates, instead of any large, main dish. (I also hard that the main dishes has been influenced American food, so the appetizers are better and more authentic option.) We had Onion Soup Gratinée, Coquille (Scallop) Maison, Little Neck - Baked, Prosciutto with Melon, and Brie en Croûte. The appetizers were little over $10 average, which I felt was a bit high for the portion. I enjoyed the Brie the most, and then the onion soup. Scallop was the least memorable. The staffs there were all French, and more casual and not-so-business like. It really was kind of down to earth, warm, family-type environment. I enjoyed our dining experience here, it was not the best, but we got the atmosphere we were looking for. The price seemed high, but then again, they are sitting in Theatre District, so maybe the price hike comes with the territory.

After weeks indoors, I tried this neighborhood staple for the first time and it was truly wonderful. Started off with steak tartare and endive/blue cheese salad. Both portions were generous and perfectly seasoned. Each was a stand out. Then had the Coq au Vin, which was incredibly delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce and veggies were great. Will definitely be back. Wonderful Parisian atmosphere and very attentive service.

I was so excited to eat here, knowing that this location is a NY staple, and has been for decades. I booked a table for two for Valentine's Day and was, overall, upset with the service as well as the food. After ordering and receiving our appetizers, which were lovely, we were shocked to see that every table around us, who had all been sat after us, were receiving their meals. We politely waited, but at the hour mark, I pulled over the waitress to ask where are dinners were. She said, "It's coming..." and then I explained that we had been waiting over an hour and was wondering why it was taking so long. She promptly went over to the ordering system, where I can only imagine, by the look on her face, she realized that she hadn't put in our order. We ordered the Steak Au Poivre and the Hangar Steak with shallots. Both steaks came out prepared completely wrong. We had both asked for Medium rare steaks. The Steak Au Poivre came out barely cooked (almost raw) as well as cold and the Hangar Steak was absolutely charred. There's a part of me that thinks they tried to rush through the orders and just weren't able to provide. It is such a shame, because I was so excited to eat here. Unfortunately, I doubt we will return to try another meal.

One surprise french eatery ..... love the place The escargot, filet mignon and profiteroles are all must..... reasonable $$$ and awesome service.... staff "Omar" was ubiquitous.... The old travel industry had an expression: Orchid and / or Onion letters hopefully to a Corporate CEO who has empathy .... this is an "orchid". Had managed several organizations before becoming a reluctant hotelier in Hawaii. Client service is always a tough challenge; in America, it has become a disgrace. Repeat, this is an orchid letter! A well deserved one. It is always a pleasure in any walk of life or endeavor to see professionalism demonstrated. People say America is getting soft in mind and body. Tout va Bien folks are role models for getting America back on track. No wonder the overseas businesses are surpassing our domestic efforts. Found this place by mistake and I love it! Cute little french place in hells kitchen. We visited on Friday night for dinner, the staff was very friendly and the deco it's very old new York but nice. Food it's good and very well serve. It's a good place to try if you fancy for French food ;)

I went here with 2 of my friends after seeing the Broadway show Godspell. I was pretty psyched to go here as I know it's been here for like 50years and I have heard a lot about it. I honestly wanted to love this place, but I'd say it was...anticlimactic. The environment/setting of the restaurant is actually kind of neat. To access the restaurant you actually walk down into a small out door area and through the door into the restaurant. It would be hard to find, but the big red awning and Tout Va Bien neon sign above serves as a landmark. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small and tables are pretty jammed together down there. A banquette lines one side of the restaurant. French bric-a-brac is strewn throughout. It has cozy atmosphere, but could be a little deafening when crowded. The service was a little frenetic, but no attitude whatsoever. We had reservation at 7pm and were promptly seated by one of the French speaking owners. He was very pleasant and welcoming and we actually had a nice conversation about Montreal. The menu has all the classic French bistro items one would expect to find. The problem, sadly enough, is the food quality. We started with escargot de Bourgogne as an appetizer. They were rubbery, bland, and definitely not served in the shells that they picture on their website! I ordered Boeuf Bourguignon and both my friends ordered Coq Au Vin. The sauces were indiscernible from one another and bland. No vegetables, onions, etc. It seemed like they just poured the same bland sauce over pieces of chicken then on cubes of beef. Pas bon! I think the bottom line is this place is more about quantity over quality. Get em in and get em out! It is not a bad place for a cheap meal (reasonable pre/post show prix fix menus) before or after a show, but you definitely get what you pay for with French cuisine, in my opinion - mediocrity.

We made a reservation for two people. Arrived, the manager or owner's son sat us without giving us any menu. I tried to establish an eye contact with one of the two servers that saturday night and with the bartender or with the couple of owners, in vain. That situation lasts 5 long minutes until I decided to talk to my neighbor while one of the servers was taking care of his table. This actually worked. The server had not choice to notice us. He finally said that he will be available in a few. We ordered shrimps and foie gras. The shrimps came in a cup of 4 completely frozen with a ketchup sauce and not a cocktail sauce. That was not shrimps, that looks like shrimps but had absolutely no taste. The foie gras was not fresh at all, it came from a can that it is very oftenly available in french/europeans supermarkets. It costs 15 $ which wasn't worth it at all. It tasted more like an old liver mousse than an actual real fresh foie gras that we can find in jarres. I usually don't come in a restaurant to pay non-fresh food or food from cans. The service was terrible. There were three servers: two on the floor and the bartender, they were overwhelmed with only 8 tables. This is a shameful service. The food was not fresh and coming from cans or was frozen. The service was awful. I will never comeback again. Everything had changed (before it was fresh and the service was correct, when I used to have fresh artichoke with vinaigrette or fresh smoked salmon in a salad. There were also more cheeses available in the cheese plate). Everything has been made to reduce the cost but they loose everything. I deeply do not recommend the place.

I have been coming here since 2003 and I still enjoy the food. First of all don't expect high French fare, this is basic food, such as coq au vin or boeuf bourguignon. I have tried most of the things on the menu but will review my last meal there. Started with the escargot, which were very hot and chewy. Each little pocket of the plate was filled with butter and garlic. It is how I like to eat escargot. The foie gras here is some of the best cold foie gras that I have had. It spread easily, is creamy and tastes good. The cornichons that came with the foie gras were a little more sour that I usually like but were crunchy. Warning, you might get free food and drinks here! The waiters brought out a pate that was mixed pretty well and had good flavor, but was a little stringy when spreading on bread. Certainly it was good, especially for free. The osso buco special was tender, but still had texture, and fell off of the bone. The sauce that came with the osso buco was pretty simple - tomato, carrots, and celery. The rice that came with it was a little too undercooked. The duck a l'orange was good, with the orange having a bitter taste and the skin crunchy on the outside. The duck itself was not gamy. The frites are the best thing on the menu. I usually like fries that hard and crunchy but the ones they have at Tout Va Bien have enough crunch on them while having enough softness int he middle. Add a little mayo and it's perfect. Whether you order an after dinner drink or not, which we did not, they usually bring one out. That night it was the sangria, which was sweet. And free. The walls are adorned with old posters and pictures of French actors, athletes, etc. The waiters are friendly, but service is reminiscent of that in France, slow but everything eventually get to your table. They will show a lot of the World Cup games so this would be a fun place to hang out for a game. I've been eating here for 7 years and still come back.

My love affair with Tout Va Bien started in the 80s with my dear friend Paul Ott, he loved the escargot and fries. Tonight and many years later, I bought my son and his wonderful boyfriend to Tout VA Bien to celebrate Fathers Day. And what a magical night! The chef treated us to dessert and a sweet bowl of sangria. Dinner of hanger steaks and stew was perfect and I felt the presence of my dear friend next to me enjoying every savory bite

Had the best evening at Tout Va Bien the other week. We dined late on a Thursday and our waiter (I believe it was Omar) could not have been friendlier or more accommodating of our group. The chef agreed to make us Duck, which wasn't on the menu but was a planned special for the next day. It was delicious. My friend got the Chicken Cordon Bleu - a dish he claims to have had four times now and has always been satisfied. We enjoyed the Sangria and tasted basically every dessert on the menu - all incredible. The food and atmosphere were fantastic but the service and warmth of all of the people inside Tout Va Bien is what put this place over the edge. Will surely be back!

Hidden gem!!! Only go here if you want authentic French food & service. The staff was incredible and the food brought me back to Paris! I can't wait to come back to NYC so I can eat here again.

My bf and I came here on my birthday after seeing the Rockettes show. We were supposed to go to this Italian restaurant nearby called Briciola but the line was crazy. So lucky we walked into this place!! It's a small old-fashioned style bistro that makes you feel like you are in a French countryside pub. The interior is really cozy with decoration of French posters and red, white, and blue balloons. Very lovely! We were greeted by an old man whom I guessed was the manager. We gotta choose our table cause there were a lot of empty seats. Then a waiter came with the special menu and carefully explained everything to us. We finally decided on Escargot as an appetizer, Coq Au Vin, and Veal Scaloppine. Honestly, I was excited for the escargot cause I really liked it at Amelie but it wasn't as good here. The parsley and garlic butter sauce was tasty and came great with bread but the escargots per se were really bland. BUT the two main dishes were total game savers. Coq au vin was whole chicken thigh in red wine sauce with baked potatoes and carrots aside. The sauce really tasted like red wine and it was soooo good. I'm amazed! My bf loved his veal in mushroom brown gravy sauce. I don't know how they made the meat crunchy at the edge and still juicy inside but it was spectacular. We also got a fries and a complimentary chocolate mousse, which was nice. The price was reasonable. Great service! I'd definitely recommend this place. One of a hidden gem among all the always-crowded Hell's Kitchen restaurants.
