The best place at Universal Studios for a meal, period. Trust me, when you need lunch / dinner just go straight here. It’s hands down the only solid option for food and you get a really cool environment to dine in. We had the below dishes: - Fish and Chips : I’d recommend this as a safe option that’s honestly pretty great and will satisfy almost anyone, permitted you like fish. When in doubt, go for this! - Cottage Pie : Basically Shepards Pie, but it has beef and not lamb. It’s my top suggestion for those who don’t like fish, as it’s flavorful, cooked well, and filling. I think it’s my personal favorite. - Fisherman’s Pie: Surprisingly, this is not fishy tasting at all (aside from you know, the shrimp and salmon in the dish) which makes the overall flavor profile a lot better than I expected. I think it’s a solid choice, but I’d still go fish and chips over this one. - Beef Stew : Served in a bread bowl, but honestly the portion is quite small when you consider how much of the stew is actually present. The flavor was fine, but if you want a hot meal with meat I’d go Shepards / Cottage pie instead. - Sticky Toffee Pudding: Much better than expected with nice flavor and texture! The topping is straight up Butterbeer foam / cream, so be aware of that, but it kind of works here. It’s a solid sweet option for Diagon Alley. Overall the salad side dishes need vast improvement. If they are going to be there, make them substantial and have more than a few pieces of bagged greens and a half tomato thrown on top.

For many years, I passed by this food establishment. It always had that fried fish smell. I'm sure that's part of the theme but that's not part of my dietary interest, but it took me a while and I finally heard about hard packed butter beer ice cream so I ordered it and a sticky toffee pudding. Well it was worth stench ha ha. The sticky toffee pudding had an overflow of butter beer foam topping something that this stands are very stingy on and yes, the pack butter beer was a real treat. You taste like cream soda butterscotch I will come back again special for this. I'm sure there's a couple other food menu items but I'm not interested right now.

I liked the way this restaurant was set up with table service, yet you ordered and paid through the app. For the amount of people, the food was served relatively quickly, and was hot. I ordered the scotch eggs and bangers and mash. I felt like the bangers and mash could have had some more gravy, as it seemed a little dry. Other than that the food was good.

I was a little disappointed with the Leaky Cauldron. I need to eat gluten and dairy free and while they were able to accommodate, the food tasted like anything you would get for breakfast at McDonald's. I was able to get some pancakes, bacon, sausages and hash browns but it just wasn't very good at all. Both my wife and I were not impressed, but at least they were able to offer something. This was the first time I tried a butter beer (you can get butter beer with dairy free cream on top) and the beer was awesome!

Food was warm and hearty on a rainy day. The interior is great! It took a while for our food to arrive after sitting down to place an order. The bangers and mash was pretty good.

This is a unique experience for Harry Potter enthusiasts. You can get London style meals, such as shepherds pie, Guinness, stew, and sticky toffee (they really tasty bread pudding). So this is a fun place to go if you really want to have that fun; authentic Harry Potter experience. They even have bitter beer ice cream! The atmosphere, like most things at universal, is very legitimate decor and really makes you feel immersed like you're at the real Leaky Cauldron.

We went to lunch at the Leaky Cauldron on a Friday during our recent Universal trip. The wait to be seated was quite quick which was surprising during the lunch hour. The wait time for food was a bit long but that’s to be expected. We ordered the bangers and mash and the “specialty chicken sandwich” Both were good and good portion. The chicken sandwich was as quite large. I do think that the park could do better/more with theming at this restaurant - lots of missed opportunities to make the experience really magical. Service was good though - my brother had an issue with his meal and it was resolved quickly and effectively. Not a bad lunch option if you’re on that side of the park but I would suggest going a little before or after the lunch hour.

Visiting the Leaky Cauldron at Universal Orlando is like stepping straight into the pages of Harry Potter. The theming is incredible, from the wooden beams to the magical décor, every detail makes you feel like you’re dining in Diagon Alley. The menu offers hearty British fare, and I enjoyed trying something different from the usual theme park food. The bangers and mash were flavorful and filling, and the fish and chips were perfectly crispy. Butterbeer is, of course, a must-have with any meal. The staff kept the line moving quickly, and even though it gets busy, the service was smooth. Overall, it’s more than just a restaurant, it’s part of the experience and definitely worth a visit.

Came here for a butter beer & coffee to go. You can skip the line if you are not dining in. If you're coming here for coffee, don't bother, they don't have any. The place is adorable and if you are a Harry Potter fan, you'd love it here. We didn't eat but the food smells amazing! I'd love to stay and eat next time. The butter beer was tasty if you are into sugary drinks.

Can't believe it took me this long to review the Leaky Cauldron, but if you're a Harry Potter fan at all this place is a dream to see and sit in- it looks EXACTLY like in the movies it's crazy! They offer a unique set of food on the menu, all English inspired and food common in the HP world & books. Cottage Pie, Shepherds Pie, Fisherman's Pie, all the savory pie entrees. Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips, scotch eggs and some other options. They actually even serve breakfast in the morning if you're at the parks early enough. But the thing I'll come back here for that hopefully they'll keep on the menu long term: butterbeer potted cream. Ooooh my word! It is incredibly, teeth-achingly sweet but boy is it a fantastic dessert. If you've never had potted cream, it's kind of a creamier, richer pudding type dessert, And then imagine it in butterbeer flavor and it's just wonderful. Here's the scene: hanging out in the Leaky Cauldron after you've just entered Diagonal Alley through the hidden brick wall entry, chilling with a butterbeer potted cream and watching Sirius Black's wanted poster scream indefinitely while young witches and wizards running all about. Couldn't ask for a better time.

Definitely don't expect too much from park food for the money, but pleasantly surprised the leaky cauldron was filling and not bad at all. $5 drinks, $20 plates . It was a filling lunch, in Harry Potter world. Servers were nice and the food came out quick. I enjoyed my razz ice tea being thirsty from all the line queues we were in all day. The fish was a good portion, not dry, could have been crispier and hotter though. The fries just needed a bit more seasoning but you have salt etc at your table order via QR code and the food comes out fast! Would be back to try the burgers perhaps next? Overall it hit the spot and had plenty of table seating!

Probably on of the better places to eat in within the park. Love the theme within Harry Potter world based on the film. Decor is fitting and pretty easy going layout. Service is very nice and quick as they need to turn over tables quick to keep up with both lunch and dinner rush. I had a few of their fancy drinks and all of them are very interesting with a twist they may surprise you and your tastebuds. But I cannot get past the bangers and mash! Great flavor and bursting with juices. Mash add a nice complement balance of flavor to the plate but the veggies are always roasted to perfection! Swing by and give this place a try. Lunch time is normally quicker but dinner can be a longer wait.

I love when theme park restaurants aren't afraid to step outside the norm and give us dishes that truly match the theme. The best thing on the menu hands down is the vegetarian pie. I was so surprised it used faux meat because it was the most flavorable. My entire family ordered different dishes, and everyone agrees the veg pie was the most flavorable and tasted like a delicious home cooked meal. The butterbeer clotted cream was a close second. I could eat that all the time if I could handle sugar. The scotch egg wasn't dry, and the other dishes were all classic and well done. They also offer some fun drinks only available at their location. The lemonade came with entire lemons in it and was so refreshing and tart, not sugary at all. I am always so impressed when I eat there. The seating varies. You wait to be seated if it's busy, so you are then assigned to sit with other guests in long tables like the ones seen in the Hogwarts main hall, or you might get individual tables. The long benches are actually very comfortable and they give you plenty of room to fit yourself and your food (plus any merchandise you might have) between you and the next guests. You order using the mobile app while in line waiting or while at the table. Once you're sat, there is a barcode with the table place you are at and you will then submit your mobile order with that table number. There's cute decorations and very neat wooden accents on the ceiling with fun animals. Beautiful and delicious.

OMG, I'll be so honest right now... I had no expectations for Leaky Cauldron & thought it was going to be like your typical sorta-lame amusement park food BUT NO! This was pretty solid for park food. We each got fish + chips & a different drink to try. For drinks, we did pumpkin juice, apple cider, & raspberry iced tea! My favorite of the three was the raspberry iced tea. The food came out pretty quick... I would say within minutes after ordering via app. Now, don't expect the food to be piping hot or anything because I'm almost certain everything has already been made ahead of time and just reheated. Dining here is really for the experience but so mean I didn't think the food we ordered was bad. I quite enjoyed the fish and chips and I think the only thing that I think could've made it better was if the fish was crispier. Other than that, it was a decent + filling lunch. Prices are okay. Exactly what you'd expect at a park. Fish + chips were ~$19-20 & drinks were essentially $5. Overall $70 for 3 fish and chips and 3 drinks.

I am so on the fence here. I want to give a better rating simply because they offer a decent vegan option. Yay. Legit. The vegan curry is not bad. What's bad? The employees yelling at everyone. It's not appropriate. It doesn't seem to fit the character of the theme, like I don't think it is a gimmick. I think they are just grumpy telling people to follow unknown rules over and over. Maybe some signage explaining to customers what to do would be helpful. Or one of those moving posters speaking to us explaining the rules here. Either way, better than rude, exasperated staff. My family liked their food ok though for a theme park. We had vegan curry, cottage pie, Guinness stew, and chicken hunt.

This system needs a lot of work! So they don't tell you to pick a table first as this is needed when you place your order. We put our stuff at the table, returned to the line and ordered and our stuff was gone from the table when we got back ‍ staff also seemed very annoyed that we were even there ordering; not to mention there was only one register open and they were quite slow. When we finally did get our food and drinks, they tried bringing us double drinks - not realizing they gave them to us at the counter and seemed annoyed at us because of their system. We did try the mini pie sampler which came with a cottage pie and fisherman's pie with a side salad. Everything was cooked and presented well. My partner liked the cottage pie better which was filled with meat, cheese and potatoes. While I liked the fisherman's with whole shrimps and tender fish (added malt vinegar to make it better). As we were leaving we did hear other people talking about ordering in the app. Dave yourself hassle and do that instead!

I had lunch here on Thursday. This is a quick service restaurant. You seat yourself, do the Universal mobile app order, tell them you have arrived, put your table number in and they bring it to your table for you. The service was fast within 10-15 minutes of putting in the order. We got the butterbeer, pumpkin juice, butterbeer potted cream and butterbeer ice cream. There were two vegetarian entree options: vegan curry and Shepherd's pasty pie. All three of us got the Shepherd's pasty pie entree that had meatless beef crumbles in it. It was filling, had vegetarian protein and delicious. It was needed for a vigorous day of walking around the theme park. The portion size was large too my sister almost couldn't finish hers. The butterbeer items were all very good. The atmosphere here is immersive. I loved it and will be back.

I came back to Universal after a couple years of not going and I knew I had to get lunch at Leaky Cauldron! Their fish and chips is the best! You can order with a barcode and they bring the food to your table. The fish and chips is hot and fresh. It comes with a zesty tartar sauce. They even offered me more without me asking. Service was amazing. The Harry Potter atmosphere is incredible. This is my favorite food in the park!

The ambiance is that of a cold, musty old tavern. The line is long, but it does go quickly. They tell you to order on the app while you're in line and then insert the table number after you're seated. I had a difficult time going back to the order once we were seated, so I had to ask an employee to find it for me. Once the table number was entered, it only took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was very good, we both had the fish and chips and we split the sticky toffee pudding, which was excellent. My friend really enjoyed the dairy-free Butterbeer. I tasted it and it was indeed yummy. I would definitely return if I'm back in the park.

I appreciated that we could place a mobile order on our phones, which made the process a lot smoother. The food itself was decent--not the best I've ever had, but definitely more unique than typical theme park fare, although a little overpriced. Overall, a fun and immersive experience.

I am so sorry to the Harry Potter fans but I was not really a big fan of the leaky cauldron. It was alright but kind of basic. I don't really prefer London food and, while fish and chips is a staple, it's just really not my favorite staple. The remainder of the food is kinda off limits for me since I don't eat pork and try not to have that much red meat. Food is just alright but most people come here for the vibes (of course, it's in a theme park!) but the decor was lovely. Also - hot butterbeer is always a plus!

Other than the positioned location of this restaurant, there was nothing good about the food experience here. Very disappointed The ambiance is ok ok, and the tables are too close and seems super crowded at the peak times. Ppl can barely manage to sit/leave without bumping into the other tables. The place charges $17 for a grilled chicken sandwich, which had the topper of the tomato making everything slip out. The cook just puts the ingredients together and sends the tray out to serve. The servers have no clue about anything other than bringing the trays out to the tables, and most of the time are super confused which table!!! They said that fish and chips are popular dish, turns out the fish fillets were over battered making it a fried doughy blop of protein. No flavor whatsoever! Would recommend skipping it for dining, rather the other vendors parked outside had so much good food being served promptly.

My parents dined here for both sweet treats and for breakfast one morning. The breakfast was average for theme park dining, and likely try dining elsewhere though in Universal Orlando there aren't really any good breakfast spots for what we saw in our six days there. The service was friendly and the layout is themed well. Overall, I would skip for a meal but great for a snack or sweet treat.

For some reason I didn't have this spot high on my list to visit during our trip to universal but it should have been! We ended up here and the food was fun and great! I loved the mini pie combo. The decor really feels pub like and as always, it's nice to have a spot to sit and rest. Ordering on your phones is easy and they bring it out to you hot and fresh.

stopped by at the leaky cauldron for lunch during our visit to Universal. They seated us quickly. You place the order on the app by scanning your table QR code and then your things get brought out to you. The wait wasnt too long. I tried the lemonade, which was really delicious as well as the butter beer for drinks. For food I had the meat and vegetable stew in the bread bowl. It came with a side salad, which was nice because the bread bowl with the meat was not a lot of food. I found myself still a but hungry, so you might need to order another side to fill you. The inside is very cute and harry potter themed, obviously! It was charming and I think kids would really like the vibe there if theyre big hp fans.

This was the first Harry Potter-theme restaurant that my husband and I went to. We had prepaid breakfast tickets as a part of our vacation bundle. They had a staff who screened and directed everyone. Since I had the prepaid breakfast tickets, I had to go to the counter. It was easy to order. The staff did their job. The food was good. I had the English breakfast platter and it was a lot of food! I totally would order it again. Overall, I would come here again. I would like to try lunch and dinner in the future.

The food was good, tried the chocolate potted mousse for dessert and the initial taste gives you a terrible kick, but the mousse itself was decent, might need to try something else next time. The restaurant wasn't packed, so we were able to find a table right away.

Fantastic food and quick service. This time around I was worried because the line to get in was crazy but wow did the hustle. The fish and chips are my FAV! Even my kids love their fish and chips. We tried the Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Both were amazing! The orange juice was refreshing and the cinnamon added an amazing touch to it. The sticky toffee pudding was a little lighter but still really good. We love this place.

I'm SO glad I found this place. All I wanted was a butterbeer during HHN. First of all, Diagon Alley is very easy to miss. There's a facade of a Harry Potter area that looks like just a facade-it's not. Go through and you'll find the whole area. When you first get in, there's a butterbeer stand that had probably 30 people in line. I checked the universal app and found the Leaky Cauldron. I walked maybe two more minutes and there was nobody in line. I was able to get my frozen butterbeer without wasting time in line. If you haven't had frozen butterbeer, it's heaven. Do yourself a favor and try it next time. It's a must every time I go to universal. The entire Diagon Alley area is mind-blowingly well-done. It feels like you were dropped right in the middle of the movies.

For theme park food, this is solid. You're gonna pay theme park prices, but the food itself was really tasty. I got the Guiness stew and my husband got the Shepherds pie. We also got a banger and scotch eggs to try. We also both got the specialty non-alcoholic drinks. The way this works is you wait in line to be sat at a table, and then once you are at the table, you order from a QR code. This wasn't my favorite process because it's really hard to customize or ask questions about the order before you do this. If there was a way to order with an actual server, it wasn't very clear. When we were sat, I initially wasn't crazy about the table that they put us in (the seats did not have backs). But they were able to change our table location that did have seats with backs, so that was nice. Overall this is a solid place for food, especially if you want to stay in the Harry Potter confines. There's a nice variety as long as you don't mind British fare.

I still can't get over the fact that one of the best fish & chips I've ever had came from Universal Studios. Maybe it was just theme park euphoria but the food was great and the service was fast. I was able to order through the app and our food was delivered to our table. It can get packed in there and you will be side by side with other groups but, you're not there to linger - fuel up and enjoy the rest of your trip!

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's located in the most magical place on earth for me. I am obsessed with their fish and chips. If you haven't had them- you must! Their bangers and mash are also great. The ambiance alone is worth eating here. Obviously get a Butterbeer of your choice or better yet, an Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice to wash everything down. I know they serve breakfast here which I haven't tried yet but definitely need to soon!

I got the fish and chips, and honestly, they were pretty great--especially considering the price for the amount of food you get, which is a nice surprise for Disney! There were three pieces of fish, a decent portion, though they were a bit on the oily side. Nothing too special, but filling and satisfying. Service was pretty fast, which is always a plus. But the real highlight? The atmosphere! The inside is decorated so well--it literally feels like you've stepped into Hogwarts. If you're a Harry Potter fan, it's definitely worth visiting for the immersive experience alone.

This is the main restaurant at Diagon Alley, part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, located at Universal Studios Florida. My wife liked Three Broomsticks, the main restaurant at Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, better because of the better service. However, she enjoyed both restaurants. I thought the Leaky Cauldron was fine. I had a good time. According to the Harry Potter Wiki, the "Leaky Cauldron was a popular wizarding pub and inn located in London. It was the entrance to Diagon Alley and, indirectly, Knockturn Alley." It's cool how Universal made this real-life Leaky Cauldron true to the books, building it in Diagon Alley next to Knockturn Alley. https://harrypotter.fandom.com/wiki/Leaky_Cauldron We lucked out and visited the Leaky Cauldron before a rush of people came. This was on an ordinary Monday around 2:30pm. Right after us, a sizable line quickly built up. The dining room reminded me of my college dining hall, Brittain Dining Hall at Georgia Tech, because of its classic European architecture and communal dining atmosphere. It really does feel like an old British pub. This is a large, spacious restaurant. It's popular and almost every seat was taken during our visit. Our party of five was able to get a private table. The cuisine is British (e.g., fish and chips, bangers and mash, ploughman's lunch). Here's what my wife and I tried: Beverages * Butterbeer ($8.99) - a non-alcoholic sweet drink reminiscent of shortbread and butterscotch; served in a souvenir cup * Hot Butterbeer ($8.99) Entrees * Mini Pie Combination ($18.99) - mini cottage pie and mini fisherman's pie served with garden salad * Scotch Eggs ($13.99) - hard-boiled eggs wrapped in pork sausage, dusted with bread crumbs and fried; served warm with apple beet salad and mustard sauce Dessert * Sticky Toffee Pudding ($8.49) I loved the Butterbeers, both cold (default) and hot. I prefer the cold Butterbeers. They taste more like traditional soda with ice; however, they come with a thick, creamy top. To me, Butterbeer is like an extra-rich cream soda. The hot version is interesting and worth trying. It's not carbonated, but has the same sweet, yummy flavor and rich, creamy texture and mouthfeel. I ended up having two cold Butterbeers and one hot Butterbeer in the same afternoon. I was sick of Butterbeer after the third one. The Mini Pie Combination is good to get because you get to try two of the Leaky Cauldron's pies. The cottage pie consists of beef and vegetables baked in a potato crust. The fisherman's pie consists of salmon, shrimp, and cod baked in a potato crust. Of the pie combo, I only tried the cottage pie and it was tasty and savory. I would happily eat a whole one ($17.99). The Scotch Eggs hit the spot. The entree came with two eggs, each split in half. The various accompanying salads were fresh. The Sticky Toffee was delicious. It was like Harry Potter's version of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll. Yum. Service was good. All around, I thought the staff was nice and did a good job considering the circumstances. They were constantly busy and stressed to varying degrees. One of our party members has Celiac disease and another has a peanut allergy. One of the Leaky Cauldron chefs came to our table to clarify our orders, sensitive to the disease and allergy. We appreciated that. For example, he made sure to prepare our friend's Specialty Chicken Sandwich ($15.99) with a gluten-free bun. Admittedly, if this was a standalone restaurant and pub that wasn't associated with Harry Potter, I'd probably rate it only three stars (OK). However, the theming is fun and novel and the Butterbeers are unique and terrific, so four stars.

The food options here are better than others. We got salad and the seafood pie. Serving sizes are small but quality is there. Preferred over some of the fried options for sure. You have to get in the line to get a table then order from your table. Alcohol drink service was slow.

Stopped here just to try a Scotch Egg since it is surprisingly cheaper here than where we live. I didn't know what to expect but it was decent. Took a while for it to come out, but otherwise the service was prompt. I love the mobile ordering at the table that Universal is moving towards.

I ventured into this enchanted eatery and indulged in the Scotch Eggs, Fisherman's Pie, and Shepherd's Pasty Pie--washed down with a goblet of Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice. The fare was, by all accounts, quite delightful, though as is the nature of theme park cuisine, one cannot help but wonder if a skilled Hogwarts house-elf might have done it better. The atmosphere was positively magical--it truly felt as if we had stepped into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Out of all the restaurants in Universal, I daresay this one stands above the rest. A most charming dining experience indeed. However, I must confess... whether due to some mischievous hex or merely my own treacherous digestive system, the aftermath was far from magical. The Scotch Eggs, in particular, left me in such a gaseous state that, whilst perusing the gift shop, an unsuspecting patron believed some poor soul had suffered a most tragic accident in the loo. All in all, a charming experience--though I dare say, best approached with a strong stomach and perhaps a well-placed Bubble-Head Charm.

I ordered a passion fizzled tea while my friend order the butter beer. It was hot after walking thru a whole day and it was nice to be chill and cool down here. The lines need to be more organized and need more booths to allow ordering to flow more seamless. Still the decor is nice and welcoming in the dark leaky cauldron.

The draw of this restaurant, obviously, is for fans of Harry Potter. The interior decor and menu felt authentic to the book series. I ordered the scotch eggs, which were hard-boiled eggs wrapped in pork sausage, dusted with bread crumbs and fried. They were served with apple beet salad and mustard sauce. The eggs had a great texture and I was pleasantly surprised at the sweet and tart apple beet salad. I also ordered a butter beer because it felt only right. The portion size was adequate for the price, which was a little high but this is Universal, where they would charge you for air if they could get away with it. The food was prepared quickly and the servers were friendly. It was a good experience to eat at The Leaky Cauldron but nothing I feel I would need to do again.

LOVED the cottage pie! Fed both me and my bf and we were very impressed. Of course the ambience here is lovely and just like the movies! The staff was so sweet and accommodating, especially showing us to a table that can accommodate us, as I ended up in a wheelchair after hurting my ankle during HHN. They were so helpful!

The food tastes as I imagine. While I enjoyed my fish and chips, I had a desire for more flavor. The quality of the food was good but slightly lacked seasoning. Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are available. The layout is bench and table style setting. Place your order at the screen or with a staff and the servers brings your food. The ambience resembles what is described in the book, the entry way to Diagon Alley and the magical world.

I would highly recommend the Leaky Cauldron if you are looking for a quick meal in Harry Potter World. When we came for lunch around 11, there were several empty tables and we sat down right away. It was very easy to order on the app. I got the fish and chips, as well as the sticky toffee pudding. I also ordered the pumpkin juice. Honestly, I thought everything was pretty reasonably priced for a themed sit-down restaurant at Universal. The food came out quickly and was pretty tasty.

I was soooo excited to eat a this restaurant, or any Harry Potter themed restaurant really. The line to enter was long and requires some app work, but once we were in service was quick. I knew it was a quick service stop, so didn't expect to be wowed. I was wowed. The decor was amazing and felt like I was in the Leaky cauldron from the movies. The faux stone walls and archways were beautiful. I had the mini pie combo which contained the fisherman's pie and the cottage pie-they were good. Tasty, but not extremely rich. The start of the show however, was the butter beer. It was amazinggggg and exactly like I imagined. The perfect combination of sweet and rich. Made the whole meal worth it!

I came to Universal one day with an out of town friend. We lucked out, the park was decently empty, and we got on a lot of rides, didn't wait in too long of lines, and ended up with some time to kill. In that time, we were hungry and got some lunch. So we came to the Leaky Cauldron. Where else would a couple of wily Slytherins get a bite to eat? So we got in line, looked at the menus, decided what to get, and got seated. The way this place gets people in and out in a hurry is actually pretty impressive. Hurried service, but the staff was all very nice. No issues. As for the ambiance, well you're in a castle-esque structure. Towering ceilings, giant blocks as walls with pictures and posters hanging askew as the décor, old school looking tables and stools, it's all themed very well. As for the food, I ordered the Beef, Lamb & Guinness Stew (Served in a warm, crusty bread bowl). I couldn't turn down a bead bowl. I never can. The stew itself tasted very good, and it's overflowing out of the bread bowl, feigning that there's a heap of food inside, but alas, there was not. The bread bowl itself was certainly crusty, as advertised, but it was all crust, no soft. The stew did not readily get sopped by the bread bowl, which I thought was strange. But anyway, before I go down a rabbit hole, let's just leave it as this place was good. Would return.

was looking forward to a Harry Potter lunch and was extremely disappointed by everything except the butter beer. The chicken was almost edible over salted and nobody liked it. The fish and chips were decent but tasted more like fish sticks than fish and chips definitely came right out of a bag. I get it that it's a Harry Potter thing but at these prices they absolutely have to improve the quality of the food the chicken was basically a small lump of meat with a piece of cheese melted on it and a strip of bacon on top. As I mentioned before it was so overalled it was practically inedible. The frozen butter beer was the clear winner here with the regular butter beer coming in a close second.

It is not faster or easier to use your phone to place your order, unless you're an expert at that kind of thing. It took us like a half hour to order. Thankfully it's nicely air conditioned, as it was about a thousand degrees every day that we were in Orlando. I probably shouldn't complain, as we were in Florida during Hurricane Helene but she didn't bother us a bit. The fish and chips were a hit with both Jeremy and his 12-year-old brother. The butterbeer did not hit with the kid, though. I had the banger sandwich, which came with roasted tomatoes, mustard and a delicate saurekraut. The bun broke in half immediately, but that worked to my advantage because it was too much food for me, especially in that heat, so I shared with both Jeremy and his dad- who raved about the bread. The seafood potpie was a miss. I could have drank the fizzy lemonade until the end of time. It's so incredibly refreshing. Never thought I would find myself eating an actual meal in the hogwarts dining hall. Freaking incredible. If you have wizards in your family this is a must. Make those memories!

Fast food but not! You order in line and when you get seated, on the app, you place your order. The worker assigns you a table and you wait about 20 minutes for your food. I ordered the fish and chips along with the mash and bangers. The r sausage in the bangers were sooo delicious. The mash potatoes tasted like packaged mash. As for the fish and chips, it was very crispy and there were lots of fish pieces! It came with a side of tartare. We also got a butter beer which is a must at Harry Potter world! One negative thing is that everything is plastic. All the cups, utensils, and plates. I mean it makes sense cause it will speed up the service but for a dine in, I expected regular plates. Definitely not a deal breaker, but lots of plastic waste. :( Would I come back? Yes! Get the bangers and mash! I didn't get to try any dessert because I wanted to get ice cream outside! They also sell alcoholic beverages at the Leaky Cauldron!

The Leaky Cauldron was a beautiful spot to recharge and get a filling meal. From the very first step inside, you are placed into a whole other world. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has tons of seating. I ordered the fish & chips entree which was about $18 and was a very good meal for the price and food thats offered at Universal. If you're trying to eat out at universal on a budget, Id say this is a great spot to find a filling lower priced meal. Especially because I shared and it was surprisingly filling for splitting it among 2 people. The fish came out nice and hot and had a nice crisp to it. The fries were a bit cold but the sauce that it came with made it delicious. The sauce was truly the star of the entire dish as it enhanced the flavors of everything else. The butter beer and beer were both good as well. Even with the large crowd, the service was pretty quick. Took about 10 minutes or so to be seated (there was a line) and another 10 minutes for our food to come out.

We had breakfast in this restaurant at Universal Studios and we were really surprised by the service they were so nice and helpful, the decor and ambience is of course amazing and with Harry Potter theme, you truly feel inside of the movie. Food options were different and also the drinks, we enjoyed everything we tasted from the regular menu and kids menu! Fully recommended and want to go back on our next visit!

The food here is very very good. The preparation is very authentic. Everything here is fantastic and worse a visit when at universal. It's very easy to get in and out especially and off Peek times. They actually make a butter beer that is lactose free. The staff are very nice and the environment is very immersive. This is one of our favorites at universal

The Bangers & Mash, according to my wife and youngest daughter was "banging." The Banger Sandwich, according to my older daughter, was also banging. The Hunter's Chicken was disappointing, both in quantity and quality. I would definitely not order it again. The service is non-descript--order in the app and they bring it to you. The ambiance was lacking--long tables with communal seating. If it's up to me, we will not be back. By comparison, it does not hold a candle to Three Brooms that we ate at yesterday.

Enjoyed a great breakfast here and would definitely do it again. What drew us in is the "Traditional English Breakfast" - a hearty and filling dish that comes with eggs, English bacon (less fat more meat) , grilled tomato, mushrooms, a flaky croissant and a coffee. It costs $20 but it's worth it. Kept me full until dinner. I also tried the Scotch egg which was delicious. There's amble seating and the ambience is 110% Harry Potter. It's very faithful to the movies and you feel like you're in another place. Spent longer than I expected here because the place is just plain cozy. Make sure you have the Universal App ready as you need it for ordering your food.

The magic of Mobile Ordering is on display here. The Universal Orlando Resort theme parks still need to improve their food options, but this is one of the better spots. Stout food, warm options, and delivery to your table. Plus this spot has lots of Butterbeer flavors. And the theming here is great, a nice spot to sit and relax for the Harry Potter fans.

Ah, finally got to eat at the famous Leaky Cauldron! Tom the bartender wasn't there, but we made do. The interior was well designed to look and feel just like the movie version of the famous pub and hotel. They play music and sound effects inside to help with the ambiance as well. Universal has shifted to a mostly app based dining experience, meaning you have to download the app and set up payment in order to have the best experience. You can still order and pay at a register, but it's much slower. First they seat you based on party size, then you scan the QR code and order, or enter your table number as part of the process. We ate here several times over the course of our vacation. Of note, their breakfast has some unique options only available here and not in Hogsmeade. Also of note is that breakfast here includes a free drink, so you don't have to pay extra for a butter beer. If you want multiple drinks, just select the most expensive one as part of your meal and then add on the cheaper one. Note that this is only for breakfast. And you have to add the complimentary water separately, you can't just ask the servers. The food is actually pretty good, and not just by theme park standards. Universal had time to figure these out and they've done well. The fish and chips are pretty standard, but tasty. My wife liked the pies as well, it was nice touch to allow people to try two types of pies in one meal. The drinks are good, sugary as expected at a theme park, but a bit pricey. While I liked the orange fizzy drink, I don't think I liked it enough for get again. The butter beer is a sure thing and the pear cider is actually a better and cheaper option if you don't want another butter beer. Overall we loved the experience.

Love the theming. Feels like youre immersed in the world of harry potter. Seating is mostly very long group tables that are shared. Ordering can be confusing because theres a line when you walk in, but you can bypass the whole line if you order on mobile device. Food came relatively quickly. Meh quality, extremely salty, stale processed bread. Not the most exciting. Butterbeer is served here which is like a sweet cream soda. Cups are cool!

A must on every visit we make to Universal! Amazing theming, and they have recently added some more vegetarian options to the menu. I tried the Shepherd's Pasty Pie, which contains meatless crumbles. It was really good! It came with a dijonaise sauce on the side and lots of chips. The apple and beet salad that came on the side was not the best but it was fine. Always get a vegan frozen butterbeer when we visit - it's a must!! Nice place to take a break in the A/C and grab some food.

One of the only two places you can get VEGAN butterbeer. The other place is at the three broomsticks at the other park. This is such a hack also to get your butterbeer here instead of at one of the carts outside. If you wait outside the line is super long. At the leaky cauldron, we hardly had to wait. Inside, the aesthetic made you feel like you were really in the Harry Potter books.
