"With its motorcycle-garage decor and beer-heavy drink menu, it’s understandable if your first thought about this spot off Ralph David Abernathy is that it’s not the best place for you and your scooter-riding 3-year-old to lounge after a stroll. But almost on cue, a mom pushing a stroller comes in and orders the small-but-mighty grouper tacos ($15). By the time she adds a Terrapin brew to her order, you realize, parent or not, we can all appreciate a good pour. Plus, the patio atmosphere is welcoming to everyone—pets, underaged humans, and probably even Saints fans. photo credit: Cameren Rogers photo credit: Cameren Rogers photo credit: Cameren Rogers" - DeMarco Williams

Pros: -I only had one dish here (rice bowl with chicken barbacoa) ad oh. My god. I was gripping the table it was so good. And it came with queso on the side 🥺 -the place is huge. There’s so much seating inside and outside -this is a great place to watch a game. There are tvs everywhere -great selection of draft beer and a huge bar to sit at -I like that you can order and then sit wherever you want -the decor is neat. Big fan Things to note: -parking is outside on the street and it’s parallel park

Disappointing visit. Steak empanada had undercooked dough on the inside. Steak was dry and pieces were burnt. For an up charge, I’d expect the steak to have flavor and be cooked properly. It did/was not. Was charged for an up charge for mezcal when it’s the same price as the tequila. They’ve also seemed to have the marg flavors pre-mixed and it’s not the same experience it used to be. The Al pastor always is on point, has flavor and I’d eat it eat every day. The dough was cooked through and super flaky. The caramel apple was FANTASTIC and somewhat redeemed the visit. I visit a lot and I’m hoping it’s just a fluke and not a downward trend.

Loved the tacos and nachos! Large beer selection and friendly staff. There are some outdoor games and a nice patio too for when the weather is nice. They have a taco happy hour too. Highly recommend as most of their tacos are included and are super inexpensive!

Google
Delicious food, diverse craft beer selection, friendly staff, and super cool motorcycles for sale! Leo did a great job of concepting this! Ask him to tell you about his collection of motorcycles. The 1950s BMW was stunning! They've got a fun patio with bocci too. Looking forward to coming back.

Google
The staff was really attentive, polite, and helpful. The food was delicious. I got the theee tacos with black beans and rice combo. Best black beans and rice I've had, but I wasn't a big fan of the philly cheesesteak taco. They do have a nice happy hour taco and beer menu though. The guacamole was a 7/10 for me, especially with the price though. The decor was nice as well. I plan to return.

Google
This is the new neighborhood spot! The drinks were awesome. TRY THE BLOODY MARY! They have a good variety of beer on tap. I tried the curry bbq dry rubbed wings. They were so good. The spot is really trendy but the staff seemed to know all of the patrons. It was a really nice spot to watch the game, even though the Falcons lost. Oh, you can bring your dogs and sit on the patio too.

Google
Great beer selection and solid food! Motorcycle themed interior is cool. Right off the beltline and awesome outdoor seating. Bocci ball and fire pit outside as well.

I arrived about 2.5 hours before they closed 6-12-18. The place was not busy (see picture) .. after waiting in my party of 4 for over 1.5 hours our food never arrived.. we were told that the kitchen "temporarily closed", but see picture kitchen was operating.. we asked for manager (see picture) .. he said there were only 2 ppl in kitchen.. all we had was chips.. this was a bad stop .. they we're not prepared for a party of 4... Also drinks .. just 4 drinks took 30 mins.. I am not exaggerating .. see pictures as proof..

Yelp
Totally chill spot with great menus for food and drinks! Menu available at counter and also touch less option by scanning QR code at table. Ample seating available in front and rear as well as at bar. Ordered baleadas with steak and jackfruit and companion ordered the bowl with Jackfruit. Descriptions for both items which were first time treats are included in attached pictures, with mention of nominal fee for additions. The flavors were prevalent throughout and enough to have leftovers. The beer selections were ample. The owner Leo offered samples and opted for his favorite the Oaxaca Choca by New Realm. Great flavor and richness. My companion enjoyed his Three Mornings Snack. Both complimented our meals perfectly. Must share the ambiance - motorcycles galore and pictures of similar theme. These bikes were beautiful and I am not really into motorcycles at all. The lighting, bar decor and even psychedelic lights in bathroom were great additions. Game viewing options on TVs throughout & and projector screens. Outside seating is available and easily found parking on street. Will definitely return and appreciate the great customer service from Vlad as he was extremely helpful in addition to Leo!

Yelp
A great local dive for the unexpected- they make the best empañadas! Lean Draft is usually buzzing with the locals and lively conversation. Service is fast and the food will come out hot. Although they are known for their craft beer, I usually have water to really enjoy the great flavorful wings or fried fish!

Kiah R.

Yelp
You can easily pass this place, there is limited to know parking. They do have street parking, I grabbed a couple of tacos they were okay. The service was fine but it is more of a hidden spot on the west end. The food comes out pretty fast.

Yelp
We stopped into Lean Draft House for dinner tonight before going to a concert in downtown Atlanta. It's in a convenient location to get to and has plenty of free parking, which is a plus! Today was chilly and rainy so we sat inside, but the outdoor seating area is really cute. I can imagine it gets busy on sunny days. The inside has a chill vibe that reminds me of a brewery. They have a large screen & projector, which is probably a great spot to watch a game. The staff were all really nice. You order at the counter, sit wherever you'd like, and then they bring your food to you. They have a decent tap list that is linked to Untapped, which is always nice. The food menu includes things like tacos, burger/sandwiches, etc. We ordered nachos with chorizo, which were tasty, as well as the taco plate with one barbacoa, shrimp, and steak taco. I liked the tacos and the rice/beans. I would definitely come back here if we are in the are!

Yelp
My card was "misplaced" i.e. mishandled, given away or stolen. When I got to the restaurant, I indicated I had never been. I was told to place orders at the counter and to give them a card to hold the tab open and continue to order. My husband had wings, salad and a coke. I had a watermelon margarita, guac and empanadas. My kids had rice beans and our proteins. The food, drinks, overall ambiance and service were fine. I sent my husband to close the tab and get a box. He comes out saying that "they can't find it." It's late I have a baby and toddler and I hand them to my husband to try and understand what's going on because I watched this guy put it under the counter. Apparently my card was placed in a server book "where they keep all the cards." Yet, mine was missing. My husband also said they tried to give him someone else's card and if he was a dishonest person he could've easily taken it without verification or question. We believe my card was given to someone else as the system for holding cards is super insecure and there isn't anyway to verify the card actually belongs to the person they are trying to give it to. There was also several times where the people were not near the register at all so really anyone could've taken it if they paid attention. The female server also suggested I check my own wallet as if I would have possession of the card with a tab open after they insisted they needed one on file. Very inconvenient as it will take 10 days to replace. The guy who originally handled the card "took care of the food," which was seemingly the only thing taken care of and the bare minimum in this situation.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon looking for another place and stumbled upon this place instead. Parking: There is a good bit of street parking so finding a place to park shouldn't be too hard. We ended up getting a spot right out front. Service: I forgot the young ladies name who helped us with our order, but she was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of my questions and even made suggestions based on my answers. Food: I ordered the $9 garlic Parmesan fries and the $10.50 seven piece habanero strawberry wings fried hard. While the sauce on the wings was phenomenal, the cook on the wings was not my fav as I love a WELL done fried wing. This meal was kind of expensive now that I think about it. I'd give them another try though simply because of the tasty wing sauce. Covid: No masks were worn by the staff and there was no distance between between patrons sitting at the bar so we sat at a table a bit further away as it wasn't too crowded inside the restaurant. Drinks: We didn't anything good, but plan to go back and try a margarita or two from here one day soon.

Yelp
Ep. 97 of AntlantaEats You can find this hidden gem on the Westside near the Beltine. This spot features mainly food items including the Empanadas, Nashville Hot Tacos , and the Hounduran Stree favorite 'Baleadas' (I ordered both Steak and Chicken, delicious!) my fav! I tried the 'Basil Lean' (bourbon & lemon feel) and the 'Beet Edition' (ginger taste to me) cocktails. Very popular to order! Bonus: Outdoor patio seating, Garden seating too!! (What?), many beer & cocktails options Takeaway: parking can be a little tight. Make your way to here while the weather is beautiful! Yelp
I am not a yelper. We've all seen the South Park episode and I promise you I have never left a review anywhere before BUT this place is so amazing I had to post something. I haven't stopped thinking about this place for weeks. Can't wait to go back. Get the chicken sandwich. Get a beer. Get some queso to dip your fries in and you are golden. The food and the vibes are immaculate. Enjoy.

Yelp
Have you been looking for some decent tacos and strong drinks near the Westside Beltline? If so, look no further than Lead Draft House! Trying to describe the feel of Lean Draft House is a little tough, as its a touch divey, but with class where a cocktail is served over a PBR, features a great outdoor space with picnic tables, games and lights, but then has bars over the windows and doors...and to top it all off, it's motorcycle themed and they are known for their tacos. Yeah, all those things are true, but ya know...it all seems to work! Our group bellied up to the bar, where the bartender was quick and attentive through out the night. We all settled on a cocktail/beer along with some food. I personally went classic with a Gin and Tonic and couple it with two tacos. I had the fried grouper and the chorizo tacos. The G&T was good, hard to mess one of those up, which he didn't do...The tacos were decent. The fish taco was lightly breaded and expertly fried. Topped with crispy cabbage and a chipotle tartar and mayo sauce. The chorizo taco was equally as tasty and featured slaw, crema and cotija cheese. Outside of that, a few folks in our party got the nachos and I was kind of jealous - they looked absolutely amazing! I know what I will be getting next trip in! Prices - Decent, tacos priced at $4.00 each or you can get 3 for $11.00. The nachos, which is a massive plate of food come in around $10.00 based off protein or not. Parking - Tricky, mostly street - so, ride share is definitely the easiest option. Dogs - Bring em! They allow puppers, which makes a place extra solid in my book! Overall, Lean Draft House is a cool spot with a great atmosphere, decent food, strong drinks and a phenomenal location in an area that is on the rise! We will be back!

Yelp
The place had a nice vide! The service was awesome! I found my bowl with added steak lack flavor and found the steak overly cooked!

Yelp
Right off the westside beltline, a good taco spot. Not far from Monday Night Garage. DRANKS: Lots of great craft beer options! Many which are local, which I love. I only drink sours and they have several on tap (like 3 Taverns Lord Grey, yum), which made me happy. They also serve half pints for ones on tap, which makes me extra happy because I rarely want to drink a whole beer by myself! They also have Bloody Mary's, etc. FOOD: They are known for tacos, which I've gotten here a while back and enjoyed. Most recently, I visited on Easter Sunday at lunchtime but they were only serving brunch (served Sundays only 11am to 3pm). In our group of 5, we got several things and shared. This included: Huevos Rancheros ($8), Potachos ($10), Curry Cauliflower Wrap ($6), and the Fruit Paratha ($9). Hands down my favorites were the Potachos and the Fruit Paratha. Potachos were basically waffle fries become breakfast nachos. Came with eggs, bacon, and queso. Need I say more? The Fruit Paratha was very fruity and the fruit was fresh! A nice addition if you like things on the sweet side. Curry Cauliflower Wrap was disappointing -- lacking flavor and the side of spinach was weirdly covered in somewhat hardened butter. I wasn't a big fan of the Huevos Rancheros but my friends liked it. SERVICE: Yikes. We had to go get our menus and then grab our server to order. Maybe it was understaffed because it was Easter Sunday? My friend who used to come here often says the service is usually pretty bad and that's why they stopped going. The woman serving us was nice, but was not prompt at all. AMBIANCE: Hooray! Large indoor area and a really nice area outside. If it's a nice day out, you'll enjoy their outdoor seating. Picnic style benches, OVERALL: I would give this place 3.5 stars but I am rounding up. Come for the beers and outdoor seating on a nice day! Might have bad service though.

Yelp
Was doing some exploring on the Westside Beltline with my family and decided to check out Lean Draft House and I am glad we did. Super cool, laid back atmosphere with AMAZING tacos. Pros: The neighborhood feel of the seating, you can either hang on the patio or near the bar at community tables. THE. TACOS. The Grouper taco is IT, get a plate of them, they're that good. The cocktails were tasty and got the job done. I had the Blueberry Bomber. And the convenient location of the restaurant. Parking was pretty easy as long as there are spots on the street. Cons: Not many. Was not crazy about the guacamole and the customer service wasn't horrible but not exceptional either. Overall I will definitely be back to indulge in more tacos and drinks.

Chris S.

Yelp
Solid beer list and outstanding (truly standout) yucca fries and empanadas. The parking is a little difficult, but it's worth it and then some. Try it-you won't be disappointed

James T.

Yelp
Lean has exceptional wings and a cool vibe. The owner is extremely personable and down to earth and fosters an environment of a neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name. I will come back again and again.

Christian G.

Yelp
Awesome spot! Great food and drinks! Great patio and overall ambiance! One of our go to places!

Marissa A.

Yelp
I'm upset that I haven't been here sooner! Just tried it last night and the food and drinks are amazing. The vibe is laid back and there is a large outdoor seating area. I had the Nashville hot chicken tacos and they were soooo good. The chicken was so juicy. Also had 2 of the cocktails which were amazing. They also have a great draft list but I had heard good things about the cocktails from other reviews so wanted to go that direction last night. One of the smallest but important points: everything we ordered was the perfect temperature like it has just been cooked (even the fries). Will be back for sure!!!

Natasha H.

Yelp
Great starting point for exploring the westside trails of the beltline. The menu isnt overly complicated or complex but they offer a delightful array of bar food and tacos. I've now been there times and have had a consistent experience. Yuca fries, lemon pepper wings, brisket taco are my favorites. There is also a reasonable selction of draft and can beers. The mixed cocktails are really creative. I really liked The Green Sparrow. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, this is a must do stop. The cool decor is a homage motorcycles past and future. All they are missing is a Harley Davidson

Devin H.

Yelp
Great spot to eat or watch games. Great staff and good eats! Def a go to for any night.

Yelp
I was first told about Lean by an employee at Monday Night Garage who said this is one of his favorite places to eat after work. Taking that recommendation, I tried it out and found it to be a totally awesome place and high on my list of favorite ATL restaurant/beer spots. The atmosphere is great. The first time I was here, I was by myself so I sat at the bar. The bartender took great care of me and I made instant friends with several other people at the bar. What a friendly place. The last time I was here I was with a group of friends and we sat at a high top table. Our server was great, he knew his stuff, and service was speedy. I havent sat outside, although it looks like a great place to sit. The draft list is outstanding, maybe one of the best I have seen at a restaurant. I dont have much for recommendations on food but just know that everything I have gotten to eat has been great, especially the tacos. Whenever Im back in Atlanta, I will be sure to try to stop back by Lean Draft House!

Alicia L.

Yelp
Food was excellent and so was the vibe. I love the location! After you eat you can walk across the street and hit the Beltline or play in the grassy area. The set up was very Covid friendly. I sat at a picnic table outside. Although there was limited seating inside the weather was so gorgeous I had to enjoy this experience outside. Plus, I had my kids (11,7,3) with me. They rode their scooters and bike up and down the sidewalk while I ate & drank. In normal kid-fashion they would come and grab a bit then right back to playing. My son ordered a burger and said it was "bussin". lol!!! I ordered queso & guac. It was tasty and fresh!! The wings (lemon pepper) were really good also. I had fish & chips. I didn't expect the waffle fries to be good for whatever reason but they were the best I have ever had. The fish was fried to perfection! The only thing that wasn't good was the guy who took my order. He had a bit of a 'tude'. Told me he was "busy" when I asked about adding something to my tab. Even if you are busy, which is what you are supposed to be when you're at work, you don't tell the customer that. OMG!!!! This place is soooooo cool. I will definitely be back.

Chucky B.

Yelp
They have some great nachos and the queso dip. I really enjoyed this place and I definitely plan to go back to try other menu items.

Robin S.

Yelp
Cool space, cool bar and cool motorcycles. Draft selection is good, easy to find a beer. Food selection is more limited. Service is ... undecided. On our first visit, apparently they were short on staff so it took a very long time to get served and a very long time to order food and refills. Once we got the bartender's attention, however, she was great. Occasional staffing issues are the nature of the business but if it happens regularly (not saying is does here) then it becomes a thing. One other thing - the bartender twice tried to take away a glass that still had a significant amount of beer in it. The second time was after we asked for the check, so rather than deal with it, we just paid and left. The first time, after we ordered refills, we stopped her. A bartender should never take a not empty glass from a customer. - Nachos are solid. We refrained from adding extras on top (beef, chicken, etc). They're good without. - Diablo chips are divine. - Avocado salad is also good.

Liselle B.

Yelp
This place is just meh to me. It's nice that they provide a casual bar option for folks in the neighborhood, but it was a little more divey than I expected. At least they don't allow smoking inside (if I'm not mistaken) so, that's good. Went for a quick drink, sat at the bar, and ordered some tacos. The tacos were just OK...nothing special, tasted cheap, didn't taste like they had the freshest ingredients, and lacked in flavor. Since I'm always looking for new options for places to hang out I may try to give this place another shot just in case I caught them on an off night and to see if the vibe and the food will be any better IMO.

Abby E.

Yelp
Popped in here for a quick bite to eat because it was on my route back to the airport and I had a few hours to kill. Very cool atmosphere, both inside and out - would be an awesome place to come hang out in warmer months, as they have many outdoor picnic tables out front as well as a side area with lawn games. Bartender was very attentive and provided great service. I had a few tacos and a beer, though one suggestion would be to add more gluten free options (to be fair, though, she said they normally have a cider on tap, they were just out of it that day). Food quality was good, nothing crazy incredible but definitely hit the spot. They also have happy hour specials where you can order several tacos (from a list, a few aren't included) for $2 each! Limited street parking outside directly in front, though there is also some in the back in a small lot. Only other suggestion - add a hook in the bathrooms! It was difficult to manage my coat and purse without a hook.. super easy fix.

Yelp
This was my first time at Lean Draft House on a Taco Tuesday and it didn't go too well. Maybe it was due to the upcoming holidays and there not being enough staff there but the food just took way to long to be cooked. To start, the parking at Lean Draft House is somewhat tricky as it is mainly parallel street parking in front of the restaurant. We were able to find parking easily, but I could see it being an issue with it be busy. For it being Taco Tuesday it was not overly crowded. The waiters and staff were very nice but things were not clicking for them. First issue was when we order drinks, they sat at the bar for a LONG time. To the point were we had to go up to the bar and get them ourselves. We would have asked the waiter to get them, but he never came back to check on us. The first round of tacos took over 45 minutes to make. It seemed like such a long time for 12 tacos. Half of the tacos came out warm and finished (with sauces and prepared to eat) the other half came cold and looked like they were thrown together last second. Our waiter let us know that the staff was bogged down making tacos for another table (that came in and ordered AFTER us and order "a ton" of tacos). We attempted for another round (to see if they would be any better) and again half came out good while the others looked like they were given no love. The wait time and service is what really killed it for me. My tacos were fantastic but I cannot say the same for the majority of my party. As consumers we felt abandoned by the staff and ignored. I would be willing to try the restaurant again, but I would be hoping for better service and a shorter time for the tacos to be made.

Talicha J.

Yelp
Every time I come here the food is so good! I got the chorizo cheesy fries, my friend had tacos and really loved them. We split a pitcher (or two lol) of margaritas and was so impressed. Will def be back!

Danielle T.

Yelp
I probably come to this place a little too often, somewhere between me showing up for taco Tuesdays and me just showing up on random days lol! I really want to say these are top 5 tacos. My favorite is the Nashville hot chicken taco and Asada taco. I really love their hot sauce that they have in those clear plastic bottles, however it wasn't there the last two times I went . Drink wise I've had the basil lean & margarita which are really good but they have many top shelf choices if you want something different.

Ayala B.

Yelp
Yummy tacos, chill atmosphere, great specialty drinks! This place is located right across the street from the west side beltline. This section of the beltline is fairly new and the area is still "up and coming". Make sure you go check this place out before it becomes the next watering hole and impossible to get into lol. Be sure to check out their patio picnic tables at night- fire pits and string lights really set the mods for fun!

Claire J.

Yelp
Empanadas are BUSSIN. Got both of them al pastor. Sweet tea was not your typical sweet tea...interesting. Tried some of the waffle fry nachos and it was also tasty. But come for the empanadas!

Carlos D.

Yelp
Food was pretty good, not a big IPA guy, but I did enjoy the draft selection..The bar is located in the Cacasde, West end area just off of the belt line trail...its set more like a biker spot which is unusual given the urban location...the prices were good. The menu selection is very limited, tacos are the biggest part of the menu..the a very large bar area with selections from local breweries to choose from...I had a good time...I would go back..

Dylan J.

Yelp
I love this little place. Located near the West End belt line sits this fantasticly warm and vibrant draft house. My favorite area is the of course the couch lounge area. They have a great projection system and it's like sitting in a nice rustic living room. My favorite beer they have is the Cerveza De Casa They describe it as "light, crisp, and crushable" It's $5 a glass and that is a delightful deal The tacos are less traditional and much more American fusion. See menu attached and you'll see what I mean. They have wonderful food, and the staff cares about you and wants you to truly enjoy yourself. I ate the shrimp taco, and the queso with Chorizo. Both were good and I was pleased enough. Dogs are allowed and frequently here. So are kids, and I'm 99% sure there a resident cat that floats around outside. All in all this is a great place to come hang out whether it be with family, friends, by yourself, or with your pets!

David F.

Yelp
Lean is high on my list as a chill spot. Most appreciable, they brokered a premium spot right on the Westside Beltline putting themselves on the leading edge of the up and coming area. Some takeaways: Good futbol bar. They support Atlanta United. Also came here to watch a couple La Liga contests as well the Champion's League final. Good beer selection. They did there best to keep the selection of suds local. And they have a choice between a pint glass and an intermediate half pint for those of us who just want a "swig". Outdoor seating is prime. The outdoor area is lined with several picnic tables arrangements covered by umbrellas to protect guests from the elements. I'm sure a hot summer day or cold winter day is no match, but it's outdoor seating nonetheless. Menu had good tacos. I tried the hot chicken and Al Pastor. Quite delicious if I do say so myself. Only one restroom. Good luck holding it! Cool motorcycle scenery on the inside. Had the feel of a European themed exhibit and not the Latin American theme I would've assumed. No defined parking lot. But it's always been street parking close by the times I've gone.

Karen L.

Yelp
O.m.g. Came here with friends at the last second and wish we had more time to stay... Super impressed with the environment and outdoor chill area... Great place for dogs and lots of TVs. Plenty of shade and areas to spread out with food and drink. Can't wait to come back and sample all the tacos that they had... Great options for anyone with dietary restrictions and just phenomenal service.

Yelp
We live in the neighborhood, but had never checked this place out. We decided to finally head over on Saturday, 3/31. I really like the vibe of the place, very laid back with a great mix of people and music. Also (love it or hate it) the patio is pet friendly. The food left more to be desired on my first visit. I ordered the Cheese Steak sandwich dish. There is also a cheese steak taco. The dish that I ordered is listed under the "Sammies" section. I wish I would have read more, because I just assumed they were being cute. I didn't know that it was a cheese steak would be served on a hamburger bun. I was starving and in the mood for a more robust meal. There wasn't that much meat on it. So definitely DON'T order this if you want a larger portion -- most would consider this a ample portion. The cheese steak was supposed to have smoked gouda on it, but I think mine just had shredded mozzarella. I think the ingredients were fresh, but it just didn't taste that great. It was just sort of blah. The service was okay. Our server was extremely nice. However, she was not very familiar with the menu, couldn't answer specific questions about items on the menu, and couldn't make any recommendations. The things I did love about this spot were the location (very close to my home), the ample parking, the cocktail I tried, and the fries. The fries were fantastic.

Andrew L.

Yelp
My wife and I were amped the minute we heard Lean Draft was opening here, as we live just a mile down the road. Needless to say they are in a phenomenal location- the future of the beltline and the next stage of ATL's development. The beltline literally connects to the building. Loved meeting Leo (owner) and the rest of the servers here. Super nice staff- very welcoming, not pretentious or overly-hip-feeling. Great atmosphere- renovated building with good open spaces- part seating, part bar, part motorcycle apparel area. It has a minor motorcycle vibe without being over the top or intrusive. Food is solid. Phenomenal Yucca Fries and awesome tacos. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and Pork Carnitas taco. Cocktail was solid as was beer selection. Are local Georgia beers from Creature Comforts to Wild Haven. Overall this place rules. The first of its kind in the neighborhood. So stoked to have you guys on the Southwest side!

Ariana R.

Yelp
Husband and I came after our neighborhood FB page posted about this place opening last weekend. The building itself is fantastic. Apparently it used to be some kind of run-down office but they have completely renovated the inside to a very airy yet industrial feel. It is very spacious inside, you don't feel cramped or too close to other tables. One critique would be if they want to be a "bar" they should add more TVs, as the only one is directly above the bar (and you can't see it from the main dining space). Parking will get dicey if this place really becomes popular because it appears to be street parking only. We had three tacos a piece plus an appetizer of Yuca Fries. The beer selection is good and is completely local! The appetizer was the best part of the meal for sure. We loved the fries plus the delicious aioli/mayo sauce that came with them. The tacos on the other hand, a bit underwhelming. I had shrimp, chicken and pork but they were all begging for moisture. Give me sauce, pls! Hubby said the same thing about his. He had the steak, shrimp and the daily special, Kentucky Hot Chicken taco. He did say that they should add that special to the menu permanently because it was the best of the three. The waitstaff was friendly, courteous and quick! Will definitely be giving them a second try!

Yelp
This restaurant is very cute, the service was fantastic, and the food was decent. I got three tacos-the avocado, curry cauliflower, and the soy chorizo. I absolutely loved the soy chorizo taco. I thought the avocado taco was decent. I did not like the curry cauliflower taco at all. It didn't have much of a taste. I did get bean and rice with the dish and it was awesome! I'm normally not a fan of bean and rice but I loved it here. Regardless of the, I enjoyed eating dinner here and would recommend for a light meal.

Yelp
Thanks to curbed Atlanta we stumbled upon this new kid in town. Needless to say an eatery that serves Roasted Plantain Bread pudding itself deserves 5 stars. I have it give it kiddos for uniqueness. Part sexy motorcycles sales room and part restaurant has something for everyone. Starting with drinks, they are very creative. Had the Lean Basil, very refreshing and not too sweet. Followed by the Mazcel (name I can't recall), another awesome cocktail. As for the food, they didn't fail to amaze us. First the yuca fries followed by Chorizo & cheese fries. The world paused when I tasted the chorizo fries with hot melted cheese in the bottom. After that we ordered some. The hot chicken taco: too delicious and packed with flavors. The curry cauliflower taco: the great blend of Indian spices with fried cauliflower. As for the ambiance, it has an energetic vibe. Overall it was a great experience. Can't wait for our second and many more returns.

Yelp
Hmmmm. It's my first time so we went on a random Wednesday night. The food is good. They have trivia which was nice. I loved how the staff knew their customers and the customers seemed like locals from the neighborhood. A random guy with a baby (safely) strapped to his chest was soliciting customers for some kind of headlight cleaner. That was off putting. I liked 2 out of the 3 tacos I tried. I'd go back.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now but first time brunch hours on a Sunday. They have a slightly different menu with the biggest addition of their hot chicken sandwich and chorizo and egg taco. You can also add fried eggs to their chorizo fries appetizer. Great place to do as it's down the street for us. Good drink and beer menu. Look forward to watching them improve and grow their food menu.

Yelp
UPDATE: It was actually the owner, not the manager that was involved. Even more disappointed & will certainly never visit this establishment again. As much as I wanted to love Lean Draft house, I was falsely accused of not paying the bill and humiliated in the process. The waitress and manager accused me of paying with an empty gift card TWICE instead of asking questions, seeking to verify or asking for clarification. To be clear - I have never attempted to pay with a gift card. Anytime I've been here, I've paid with either cash or a debit card AND have the transaction history to prove it. Even more disappointing is that the manager backed the employee who was clearly acting on her unconscious/conscious bias. It's unfortunate that in a historically Black neighborhood, they're being ignorant to their clientele and lacking empathy. As a homeowner on the Westside and a Black woman in a historically Black neighborhood, I was first embarrassed and heartbroken that my character, morale & ethics were being questioned. Then fury hit. I would strongly caution Lean Draft House against continuing to treat their Black patrons this way. When you're questioning and accusing the residents of an established neighborhood that you're entering, understand that you're isolating yourself from Black & Brown people - as well as their allies.

Yelp
Great patio- for drinking and for letting our toddler run around. We enjoyed nachos, yucca fries and a few drafts on tap. The inside and outside had great seating. We parked on the street and sat at a picnic table on the patio. This spot is right by the west side beltline and is a great option to walk and have a beer afterwards. Great: -patio with umbrellas and picnic tables were plentiful -beer variety- I couldn't even read through all the options as there were too many -food- beef nachos were delish and the yucca fries were yummy -server- very patient and polite and willing to help navigate beer menu. Ok: -the grass turf had a lot of black rocks on it which was messy- I didn't have on sandals but imagine it might get in my toes if I did

Yelp
Let's just begin with, Lean draft house is way out of my comfort zone within the city. I first read about it on my weekly Thrillist blog excursions. I was super excited for a new part of town to explore. The new part of the belt line is there and I feel like there's a bunch of stuff popping up around the area. There is ample street parking in front of the draft house. As you walk up to the establishment, you will see the grassy patio with games set up and string lights. People are gathered at the picnic tables chatting and drinking with friends. We walked in and the hostess was super friendly and greeted us immediately. The decor is industrial with a modern edge. There are custom motorcycles the owner works on and sells at one end and tables set up at the other. The bar also looks like a fun place to sit. We had a few things to eat off their menu and all were scrumptious. The beer menu is great as well; it boasts a bunch of local brands. I will definitely be stopping by soon! By the way, live music starts at 10 pm. So make sure to stay for that!

Yelp
Lean draft house is a good outdoor indoor location. You can catch the rays of the sun settling down on the west ends horizon. There is adequate shade and a couple of fans blowing cool breezes in the dining area. Surrounded by natural herbs in planter boxes this location offers some exotic drinks with flavored basil. The menu has one of my favorites "fish tacos." I had the grouper taco and it was on point. The have trivia certain days of the week. The patio also offers music that was basic rock and roll- no r&b . Lots of space inside the bar. The restroom, there were two non gender bathrooms which could use some attention. Turn the handle hard and push forward- the doors are heavy and you would think someone locked the door if you don't push hard enough. Overall this place was pleasant and in a location that is surrounded by historic west end culture.

Yelp
Talk about community! Lean screams "this is tour local watering hole!" Staff is friendly and the food and drinks are consistently a win! Leo and his crew are one of the best things that's happened to the West End!

Yelp
This place feels like a glimpse of things to come in the west end as the beltline arrives, bringing with it a new crop of millennial's. I was truly surprised when my friends brought me here after living in this neighborhood for 12 years it was amazing to finally see something going in that wasn't a check cashing or fast food place. The staff was really friendly and the beer selection was nice, food was acceptable but left room for improvement. Like many others have already said, parking was a bit of an issue.

Yelp

Yelp
I went to this place a couple weeks ago it's just like Bartaco if you've ever been there before. Sorry to say but it's overpriced small tacos. I think they charge like four dollars a taco which can add up pretty fast. Probably won't go back again.

Yelp
Lame. Monday Night Garage closed early so we found this place. I found the food to be anywhere from meh to blah. I had a mocktail that was meh as well. My friend had a drink and beer and enjoyed them both. He also had a taco salad on which there was burnt taco meat. Really.?? They also charged $7 for the lame mocktail that was basically soda, juice and lime. LAME. Skip this place.
