We went to Leanna Lin’s last month and felt the need to share a positive review! The shop is small but filled with so many cute goodies and collectibles from AAPI artists. I loved the cards and books in many languages, and especially appreciated the ones in Tagalog. The sales associate at the counter was also friendly and warm. The biggest perk of this shop (and a major reason we’ll choose to go to her business over others) is the affordability of collectibles. Smiskis/Sonny Angels are marked up like crazy in so many places in LA and she sells them at a reasonable price, thus allowing for increased accessibility despite its extreme popularity. It makes the drive up here from the west side worth it. Highly recommend going here for the large selection of collectibles!

This is the loveliest store with a wonderful curation of items and artwork from AAPI businesses! I found some great gifts for my friends and definitely plan to be back to browse the selection. Easy to find street parking nearby.

If I were to sum up this arts and crafts store, I'd say Alice in Wonderland goes Asian, Hello Kitty and hipster.

Located on Eagle Rock Blvd. off Colorado Blvd., this ultra-cutesy store is surrounded by an eclectic mix of storefronts including Four Cafe.

Started coming here since a friend suggested we beads, but I ended up purchasing other in-store items instead because the bead selection is, shall I say, whimsical (perfect for kids or the kid in you).  Everything is the very definition of Japanese "kawaii" style -- very cute and adorable.

I've been buying gifts here suitable for anime-fans (otaku).  For myself, I got some Green Tea Latte soy candles that were designed for Leanna Lin's Wonderland.

If you don't want to feed the parking meters, you can find parking on the back streets.  On Sundays, the parking meters are free (unlike greedy and needy Santa Monica parking meters).

Stopped in for a birthday card and fell in love. This place is full of cute things made by local artists. The owner is also very sweet! They have a rotating art exhibit from which they sell pieces after hosting an opening. Hopefully I can make it to the next one!

I love this store! Leanna is such a wonderful part of the community (no pun intended) and I got to know her store because of her Small business outreach. She stocks so many cool gifts as well as artwork and is always curating some awesome collection of art that I don’t fully understand but I covet nonetheless! This so a great stop for a quick gift for so many different tastes, genders and ages it’s my go-to to make someone smile

This sweet shop has the gifts a friend or granddaughter wishes she could have but might not ask for. Lots of smiles when we left!!

I love this place, came in today for the first time and found some very reasonably priced items! The person working there was so nice and helpful and funny too. The place has a great feeling. Also, the music is great and it smells really good! And they have delicious tamarind candies that they generously offer as well as some other snacks. I realized I didn't go into the meditation room - I will have to do that next time!Very helpful.

Excellent gifts for a wide range of people, from kids to adults. We ended up buying most of our Christmas gifts here this year and our family and friends loved them!

Yelp
Leanna Lin's Wonderland is a charming little gift shop & art gallery that spotlights independent artists and designers. I love this store! It's a bright and cheery wonderland of artistic treasures. Owner Leanna Lin is so incredibly adorable and sweet. She was a fashion designer for 10 years before turning her love for fashion & jewelry into a career. She started her own jewelry line in 2005 and then opened this lovely boutique in 2010. When I lived in the area, I would come here on a regular basis. I had some friends that were visiting from out of town and wanted to get them a unique & fun gift. Leanna Lin's was the perfect place! When I arrived, I was greeted by Leanna Lin's mom, who is an absolute doll just like her daughter. We had a wonderful conversation, while I browsed the store looking for the perfect gifts. Once I found them, she was kind enough to gift wrap them for me, which I appreciated. I love that Leanna assists local artists by showcasing their work in her store in addition to hosting art shows and events that give back to the community. I'm definitely happy to support this small, local business. Follow her on Instagram @Leannalinswonderland for updates on Art Shows and special events or leannalinswonderland.com/blogs/events. Next Event: Wonderpets 5 Art Show + Fundraiser August 19th - September 30th.

Yelp
Such a unique store with unique, fun and interesting merchandise. I'm so happy this mom and pop store has been able to thrive over the years as it truly is a favorite to visit in my town and it's terribly hard to be in business these days. They do such a good job with their Instagram page and promoting their awesome themed art shows and various art events. I love their annual pet show as always come home with portraits of my dog from the artists that attend. I love that you can order online. They helped out a lot during the pandemic. They are always so helpful when you go in too. This last weekend I went in to find some Valentine's Day gifts for family members and sure enough left with some fun goodies. Love shopping along Colorado And Eagle Rock Blvds.

Yelp
Such a cute gift shop so close to the heart of Eagle Rock! I visited during an after hours Yelp event, but I would absolutely come back during regular business hours. Their selection of greeting cards alone are amazing in itself! In May 2023, the shop featured the Very Asian Art Show pop up and I LOVE all the features. I bought a super cute art piece of a little girl sitting an a Filipino star rug watching A Whole New World on the tv. I saw it and thought that was me!! Not that I had a Filipino flag Star to sit on as a child, but I just loved the homage to Lea Salonga and how epic it is to have someone like her to look up to as a little girl. I also picked up a few kids books for an upcoming baby shower. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Leanna Lin's Wonderland is a hidden gem! This store is filled with playful, one-of-a-kind items and art from local artists. Leanna, the friendly owner, genuinely cares about her store and community. It's the perfect place for finding unique birthday gifts that will impress your friends and family. I'll definitely be back for more special presents!

Ophelia N.

Yelp
Such a super cute store with many unique trinkets, books, toys, etc. Great place to discover and support new artists! We found so many fun gifts to share with family and friends.

Danielle G.

Yelp
perfect spot to pick up a cute little gift for your cute little friends. there are a wide variety of things to buy here and many of the products are curated with much thought. i bought a yuzu candle with a little illustration of a capybara with some oranges on it, and natural ingredients only california gummy bears. packaging is on point, and this is coming from a packaging/product designer LOL. i will surely come here when i need a spot to grab a gift that'll warm a heart!

Yelp
Oh my goodness! I am shocked that I haven't written a review of this wonderful shop! I found out about Leanna Lin's Wonderland while following a few favorite artists' Instagram (e.g., Nellie Le- http://www.nelliele.com/, Jerrod Maruyama- https://jmaruyama.com/, Gemma Correll- https://www.gemmacorrell.com/), and had to (eventually), make a trip out here. I'm in the OC area, so SoCalifornians know that it's definitely a weekend trip to get over here. The shop is cheerfully colored and steps away from other awesome cafes and foods to snack on. Parking can be a little difficult, but there are metered parking and street parking available a few blocks away. The shop itself has always been clean and very organized. Books, pins, prints, original artwork, Pusheen merch, jewelry, bookends, general home decor, and the list goes on. You'll basically find any type of gift for anyone in your life in this adorable shop. A bonus is that she supports local artists, where the events have been a great way to find out about other aspiring or established artists. She's also held events to support sheltered pups (thank you!), which I appreciate wholeheartedly. Anyways, pre-COVID I've never been disappointed whenever I had made visits for the various shows/events they've had. Post-COVID, I've been following Leanna Lin's Wonderland's Instagram, and purchasing items on their website to ship over here to be as safe as possible. I've never had any issues with any of my orders (whether I ordered ahead of time and picked up, or had it shipped to the OC area), and there have been on occasion a small treat in my package. The shop is such a joy to visit, and I hope that they'll be around in Eagle Rock for many, many, many more years.

Kristina L.

Yelp
Such a cute shop in Eagle Rock! I wish this store was here when I was going to Oxy. You can find all sorts of cute trinkets and gifts for yourself or your loved ones. My husband actually bought me a pair of earrings on my first visit here. Watch out for art shows held here every so often. The store owner Leanna is so sweet also!

Clarissa C.

Yelp
Love this place! Can't believe I only recently discovered it. I've lived in the area for a loooong time!

Yelp
thank u so much!! they are so nice and helpful and friendly if u are planning 2 visit u definitely should

Yelp
This charming shop sells all kinds cheerful, fun and even inspiring items for you, your home and for gifts. Over the years, I've purchased several wonderful things here including a Lounge Fly Hello Kitty purse, greeting cards and lots of Tokidoki figures. The shop is always well-organized and spotless. Leanna the proprietress has truly created a Wonderland here in Eagle Rock. I adore her signature look of stylish glasses and Space Bun hairstyle! The shop is an extension of her personal style- fun, cute and colorful. She makes a point of featuring items that are not only cute and lighthearted, but also educational and inspirational. The book selection has several titles that are excellent for reading to and with kids. There is also a nice selection of artwork from local artists. In the age of Coronavirus, small businesses have had to adapt and this shop is no different. The current hours are limited, but you can view different events from the store on the Popshop app. You can also order directly from the website. Your order can be sent to you or it can also be picked up. My most recent purchase included a book called, "Build Your Own Theme Park" by Lizz Lunney. It has paper cutouts that can be assembled into a roller coaster, castle and merry go round. Good wholesome fun- can't wait to start!

Julienne D.

Yelp
Love this little shop! When you sign up for their newsletter they'll email you with future workshops like DIYs and other art sessions! I loved every little trinket in there. From stationary to displays and just a lot of cuteness in between. Never stop supporting these little businesses they keep the originality alive. Pro-tip: Good for a last minute present find!

Mae U.

Yelp
The cutest shop for all things wonderful. Definitely stopping in every time I visit Eagle Rock!

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this shop!! Highly recommend for gifts, a kids day out and about and even adults who like one of a kind spunky stuff ! Looove!!!

Amy C.

Yelp
Such a cute little store with toys and books for children and adults. Leanna is also super sweet. We love walking around the neighborhood and stopping by to pick up a book or toy here and there. There is currently covid measures in place. The front is roped off to limit the amount of people enters. I usually stop by on weekdays and there's never been a wait to enter. There is an automatic hand sanitizer when you enter. Stop by and support local small businesses and you'll feel a little dose of happiness in this cute shop.

Yelp
What a gem! I am so in love with this place. It is a dreamland for those that love art and adorable things. This is the perfect place to purchase a exceptionally cute gift or explore cute prints, totes, pins, toys, jewelry, etc... I will definitely be back!

Cindy G.

Yelp
this shot has the cutest collection of gifts, greeting cards, jewelry, art and enamel pins. i always come here for clever greeting cards. during covid, you can order online and do curbside pick up. the shop owner is super sweet and is very accommodating.

Christina Z.

Yelp
I love Leanna Lin's Wonderland. Leanne and her mom are so welcoming and always super friendly. There are so many cute items here, from plush toys, to jewelry, to artist prints. You can always find a cute gift for someone. It's such a cute store.

Queenie I.

Yelp
This place is really like a wonderland; all I'm going to say is Alice went down the wrong rabbit hole that day.. This is a super cute boutique that caters to those of us who gush over all things KAWAAAAIIIIIIIII! LL's Wonderland looks like what my room would look like if I ever managed to clean and organize the damn thing. I love that their right wall is dedicated to art from various up and coming artists -curated by none other than Supah Cute's Hana Kim!! If you love cute art and aren't familiar with SC or Hana Kim's name, I suggest you go Google them now! There's a wide array of products to look at and mentally spend your bank account on, like jewelry, plushies, home decor, art, bags, etc. The space isn't big but I could spend hours in there perusing all the stuff. When I went in there was a nice girl in the front who was attentive without being overly so -I wish I would've gotten her name because she was very helpful. *This place is a little hidden behind a tree in the front.

Cheryl U.

Yelp
I love, LOVE, love this place! Always curated so nicely- the owner can not be more accommodating and gracious. This gallery/giftshop is not pretentious and really easy. You can go in and buy a little button or a piece of art, the price point doesn't matter - you're all treated the same.

Anna B.

Yelp
I used to live right down the street from Leanna Lin's in Eagle Rock and always enjoyed stopping by to browse the art and buy cute gifts. I have since moved down to Long Beach but when a friend of mine in Highland Park came down with Covid, I wanted to send her a care package and thought of Leanna Lin's right away. I emailed Leanna and asked if they could do a local delivery; Leanna wrote back right away to say yes. When I didn't respond to her email right away she called to check in, which I really appreciated! I was able to purchase a lovely selection of gifts on their website, enclose a gift card, and Leanna dropped it off herself at my friend's front door. Did I mention it was Christmas Eve!?! She texted me when she was on her way to drop it off and again after she dropped it off, to let me know it was ready for my friend to discover on her doorstep. My friend reported that goodies inside the gift bag were "amazing treats." I am so impressed and grateful for Leanna to go above and beyond to make my friend's day.

Christine H.

Yelp
I ordered my niece's birthday present from here. Since we are under stay at home orders, I arranged to have it sent straight to her house. Leanna was quick in putting together my order and sending it off. She was very thoughtful to do the extra step I requested of writing the note in the special card I ordered, as well as thinking to do things that I forgot to ask about beforehand (beautifully wrapping the present, removing price stickers). She emailed me personally to let me know the status of the order and was also quick to reply to my questions. I'd say the merchandise is mostly geared for girls, since I couldn't find much my older nephew might have liked, but everything is still really cute and unique and my niece loved her gift. More than the merchandise, it's really the awesome customer service that has me a loyal patron. Support this small shop!

Hana K.

Yelp
I know cute, and Leanna Lin's Wonderland is wonderfully cute. Every neighborhood should have a shop like this one. Leanna Lin's Wonderland is a jewelry shop, cute boutique, and gallery space rolled into one. You'll find handmade jewelry, Spicy Brown apparel, beads, and cute knickknacks. Currently the gallery space is hosting The Lucky Show, featuring artwork by Spicy Brown artists Sachiho Hino and Kazuko Shinoka. If you're in Eagle Rock, you have to stop by Leanna Lin's. Even if you're not near Eagle Rock, this place is worth the drive.

Stephen H.

Yelp
This shop's layout is very open and inviting and there are many different aspects to it. There are beads for making your own jewelry, items from local artists, tees, handbags, and ready-to-wear jewelry (the jewelry made by the owner is quite nice). They also carry vintage household goods, and there is even an art show currently on display. We had an opportunity to meet the owner, Leanna Lin, and her mom, dad, and husband. They are extremely nice people to chat with, and each one of them is very knowledgeable about the items in the shop. For me, this shop gives a very positive vibe that I appreciate, and I even purchased a few vintage household items for my own collection. My wife was able to find gifts and artwork that just cannot be found anywhere else and wishes that Leanna would open up a store in South Bay. Five stars for Leanna Lin's Wonderland!

Deborah B.

Yelp
Love this place. They have an eclectic selection of artwork, jewelry, gift items & vintage stuff. Leanna & her mom are really nice & they seem very committed to the Eagle rock community. Great place to get a unique gift for a friend or yourself! Check in on yelp & you get $5 off a $25 item.

Jessica S.

Yelp
A unicorn Yeti? Why yes, yes I do need that in my life! Seriously, this place is the bees knees. If you're looking for unique gifts for holidays or birthdays...or for yourself, Leanna Lin's wonderland has got you covered. I freaking love this place!

Angie T.

Yelp
So happy I found this shop filled with cute toys and accessories! I love Choo Choo Cats but I didn't know where to get them in the U.S.~ this totally fixed everything. Also, got super cute earrings while I'm at it. The owner is a sweet lady with cool glasses ^^~ Will be back again for more goodies for sure! Plenty of street parking available.

Kenny M.

Yelp
Not a very big gallery but this little place holds a special place in my heart. It has a quaint, homey feel to it and the folks that run the store are extremely down to earth people. It feels as though the entire store focuses on more "cutesy" work, which is a plus for those looking to get a nice piece for their daughter, niece, or Asian girlfriend. They regularly host events for local artists and offer craft activities for kids.

Susie D.

Yelp
Great little spot to find a unique gift for someone you love or a treat for yourself. One of a kind art, jewelry and some vintage wares adorn this cute little shop, and is the ONLY store like this if you need a unique gift or card. Family owned and they make you feel like a friend as soon as you walk in - would give them 10 stars if I could!

Michelle M.

Yelp
I love the curated selection of kawaii artwork and gifts here. More so, I love how the owner features a great variety of artists. And even more, I LOVE how this store is all about supporting local and small businesses. Great pop-up shows. Great online shop. I'm such a fan!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The perfect place for unique gifts and books and trinkets. Never disappointed with selection and always find something great.

Mac S.

Yelp
Very fun place to visit similar in some ways to the Giant Robot stores in Sawtelle Japantown. I love their artwork/artshows, and Leanna Lin is very friendly. One of the cooler places to visit in Eagle Rock for sure.

Chris O.

Yelp
I went in here to pick up a card and maybe something for my daughter. That was dangerous cos I ended up picking up several cards (almost a dozen), a gift, and something for my daughter. Honestly, I wanted to buy everything. Great shop and great service. I highly recommend it and will be coming back over again with friends and family.

Nikki P.

Yelp
One of my favorite little shops! If your looking for adorable pieces then you've found your place! The art work, artists, and costumer service is impeccable! I'm a huge fan of all! I just love shopping here and when I get the chance to since I live in West LA I literally enjoy my time! It's a very cute store so I hope you get a chance to check it out sooner than later! Take care!

Isabel S.

Yelp
Cutest little store in the world. If I take my daughter in here, it's hard to get her back out.

Bre N.

Yelp
My daughter love this place. We came here for Leanna anniversary party. Their is so many artist work that you do not get anywhere else.

Trang L.

Yelp
Hands down, best place to take your little girl or boy to! They had the most inspiring female books and just a great selection of items. If you are in the area stop by and visit! You won't regret it.

Susie G.

Yelp
Really cool and unique jewelry and small gifts, art prints, and smartly curated, original art shows! I love everything about this little outpost in Eagle Rock. It's the very definition of a Happy Place. There's an online shop & mailing list at: http://leannalinswonderland.com -- sign up so you don't miss out on their cool events.

Sophia C.

Yelp
A cute boutique on the main street in Eagle Rock, though if you don't look, you may miss this cuteness! This store represents Etsy in so many ways, with artists/vendors I have bought directly from based on Etsy, but now, you can actually touch the products instead of basing it on pictures. The part of the store that really made me smile was the adorable tea pot sets. You'll see what I mean if you visit. Check in on yelp provides $5 off any $25+ purchase, so support independent artists and vendors such as this delightful gem!

Cara M.

Yelp
This boutique is wonderful- lots of practical, but whimsical gifts and lots of social justice themed items too! It was wonderful to meet Leanna (and her pup) and I found lots of treasure to bring home.

Library L.

Yelp
I've been to a couple of the art shows and have really enjoyed myself. This shop is super cute and I ALWAYS find lovely unique gifts for others and myself. Leanna is so friendly and cool. She's always happy to chat and greets me like a long lost friend when I visit. It's a delightful shop with equally delightful staff!

Adam X.

Yelp
Just did like 70% of my holiday shopping here. Adorable stuff you won't find many other places. Horrible adorables are my fav. ^____^ edit: i have to say, the cross-stitch kits are *not* for beginners. the package says all levels, but seriously, it's such a headache. I had to cut everything off the screen and start again. gonna go youtube some cross stitch 101 videos or something. ugh.

Annie C.

Yelp
Leanna Lin's wonderful wonderland has been my go-to for Japanese vintage ceramics, locally made jewelry, awesome art show events, and super cute enamel pins and candles and greeting cards for years! Can't believe it took me this long to review her amazing place.

Carla F.

Yelp
It has been a long time since I have been in a store where my eyes exploded and my heart wanted all that was around me. I am in love with this new store located in the wonderful Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles. There are handmade stuffies & hair trinkets & a ton of other awesome stuff. I found small strawberry earrings that reminded me of the ones that I had when I was a wee chitlin. For $20 (not including a discount of 10%) I purchased the earrings, two buttons, a hair elastic, and two kawaii deers. The prices were really good & this is a great place to go for gifts. The owner (who was very sweet) also makes jewelry, she mentioned that she will be having classes at some point. The store is super bright & I loved the bright pink door! I will be back!

Amy K.

Yelp
Whimsical without being lame. Leanna Lin's is an art gallery, boutique, craft experience, and fun place to visit, all in one. You can have a crafting party where you're guided on making bead jewelry (both for kids and adults), you can buy gifts, you can enjoy themed art shows with food and overall you get a down-to-earth sensibility. Everything here is cute, which is not necessarily a description that attracts everyone, but it's cute without being cuteSY. This is a great place to buy unique gifts, from handmade jewelry to vintage pieces, one-of-a-kind art and very affordable prints, cool greeting cards, unusual t-shirts, and whatever the real Leanna Lin and her mom (both really nice people) curate. The merchandise changes regularly. Both times I've visited, I of course ended up finding more for me than the the people for whom I was buying gifts, but I have willpower, sometimes. We were even offered snacks, and the gift art print I bought was wrapped for me without any extra charge! Fantastic service. Patronize this place.

J A.

Yelp
Disclaimer: I hate to write a negative review, so I won't, but I was disappointed in this store based on my expectations derived from other yelp reviews. I was looking for an indie store featuring local artists that had gifts I could give to my friends for around $25-35. What I found was a very friendly owner that didn't have anything suitable I could buy for friends since it was all super girly. I wasn't in love with any of the art for my walls, which are bare, but my live-in boyfriend immediately vetoed every unicorn, butterfly, cupcake picture. Can't say I blame him. This merchandise is mostly cutesy, pastel colored, girly jewelry. Maybe it was just the inventory available the day of my visit, but I didn't see much vintage, kitsch, pop art, or antique things. I would not describe this place as colorful (unless you mean white and pink) or funky (definition: Characterized by originality and modishness; unconventional). For example, I would call Maple Syrup downtown a colorful and funky store/gallery. Maple syrup had things that were better suited for my mid-20s art-school grad friends. Also, the Ten Women Gallery in Santa Monica has unusual stuff (mosaic wall tile 1ft by 1ft with tea cup for a plant) and is reasonably priced. I wouldn't say the store is eclectic. I looked up the definition: Deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. The inspirations seemed like Hello Kitty, anime style cartoon characters, and lots of pink. Which is nice, but not broad or diverse. I began to type that I would only come back if I were getting a gift for a girl under 12 years old, but really....what kind of kid needs a one-of-a-kind handmade trinket from an artiste?

Diana L.

Yelp
I went in and spent $80!!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???!!!?!?!! I just went in to get a gift for my friend's bridal shower!! And then I also ended up getting something for my sister and more than a few things for myself!! GAH!!!! Leanna Lin, you are a wicked, wicked genius!!!!

Nicole O.

Yelp
I had to get a last minute gift on Monday for a dinner party that night (yes, I procrastinated big time), so I called Leanna Lin's Wonderland to get their store hrs. Leanna actually answered, but they were closed. She was super cool and said to come on down if I was close by (luckily I was!). Leanna went out of her way to wait for me!! I knew one item I wanted to get (super cool black cat earrings) and I also got some other cute buttons & an R2D2 ring for my friend. She loves cats & Hello Kitty so this was the perfect store for her. Thank you so much, Leanna! You rock!

Nichol R.

Yelp
What an amazing store! After following them on instagram for awhile I decided to go and check it out in person. What a lovely gem tucked away in Eagle Rock. Leanna carries a variety of work from local independent artists that are truly one of a kind. She also has a large selection of stationary, unique books for children and adults, and other items that make for novel gifts. I was so excited to find that she carries work from many of the artists that I follow and love. I can't wait to go back!

Regan P.

Yelp
I work in the "fashion" industry - and I have a lot of creative, design-y friends. Shopping for them can be a bit of a challenge. Walking into this place for the first time to buy a birthday gift for one of them, I felt like I could (almost) literally pick up ANY object in the store and give it to ANY such friend, and they would be pleased with it. This store has: pretty, fun, hip jewelry; cute hair accessories; beautiful and affordable glass and ceramic pieces; adorable teeny tiny terrariums with little tiny succulents in them; great Japanese toys and collectible figures (DOMO!!!!!); and cool-and-cute-as-hell T shirts made by Spicy Brown. As mentioned in other reviews, a lot of the stuff is made by local artists, including the proprietress herself. Leanna is genuinely warm, friendly and helpful - and I really had the sense that this is SO much more than a moneymaking venture for her; rather, it feels like a labor of love. I bought my friend a lovely T shirt. Meantime, my husband and I were so blown away by the limited edition, signed Shepard Fairey Hello Kitty piece mentioned by Anna K (that he did for the Sanrio 50th anniversary) that we had to go back and buy it next day. When we went back, Leanna was hosting a sweet Mother's Day event that involved vegan cookies and mimosa. Hard to go wrong there! In short: a sweet, artful, fun store with great local goods right here in the Northeast. Perfect.
