Lechevalier Wine Bar & Shop

Four of us came to Lechevalier Wine Bar & Shop on 13 December. Christophe really made the experience. Super knowledgeable, calm, patient and good fun. A glass of the orange wine, then had a couple of bottles of Les Beaumonts, which was really nice. We shared a few cheese and meat plates, which worked perfectly with the wine. All in all a really nice place and we will definitely be back in the new year.

Always had a great wine glass here, Christophe is the Master at selecting beautiful wines. Oh, by the way, he invested in a fantastic sound system and the music library is very sharp!

The atmosphere of this wine bar is super inviting and cosy. The wines were delicious - recommend the Sonda Branco and Negroamaro 😋. Alice the staff was really knowledgeable and friendly with recommending us our wines. Will have to come back for the bar foods next time!

This wine bar is a real gem! It boasts a great selection of wines and delicious cheese and charcuterie, paired with very friendly and attentive staff. During our visit, we had the unpleasant situation of another guest who left earlier taking my coat by mistake. This could've soured our evening, but the owner stepped in and did everything in his power to find out who had taken my coat, and then put me in touch with them. It is really refreshing to see someone who genuinely cares and wants his guests to have the best possible experience. We will definitely be back the next time we are around Bermondsey.

This place is such a hidden gem around here! They have an amazing selection of cheese and wine, and the service is fantastic. The Vacherousse cheese really stood out—it tastes incredible. I’ll definitely be back again!

Such a find! The owner Christophe is the definition of hospitality, so charming and charismatic, the wine is fantastic, interesting and reasonably priced and the food is great too. Definitely recommend checking it out as it's 4.8 for a reason!

Very nice cheeses, very nice wines and quite a range!! I went there on a Saturday afternoon, and Christophe was lovely and very helpful to me and other customers. The place is on London bridge road which is getting some nice new places in this area. I wish them all the best! And I have already spoken about this place quite a lot and will take some of my colleagues for a bit of wine and cheese :)

The owners of this place is incredibly snooty and makes the entire customer experience terrible. This place should be shut down. The whole point of a nice wine bar it to feel welcomed. The owner acts like you are doing him a favor by buying his wine.
