What an adorable, little historical hotel! This hotel is tucked in the earth alongside a gorgeous, multilevel waterfall that is the star of the show. Sit in the Great Room or on the Deck, watch the falls and relax. The rooms are nicely arranged. They have coffee and tea and water available 24/7 in the Great Room. If you’re lucky enough to meet Indigo, a four-legged staff member, you’re in for a real treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great hotel!

Absolutely spectacular traveling experience! All of the workers are super friendly, the hotel is in a beautiful location, and the rooms are kept to perfection! The cleanliness is unlike any other hotel I've been to! 10/10 recommend!

My husband planned a short weekend retreat for me as a Mother's Day trip and he couldn't have done better! He knows my love for nature and this hotel sits on the bank of a waterfall! We could see and hear the roar all day from our room. We were told we came at a great time as it had rained a lot prior to our stay, so the damn was open at Lake Wallenpaupack, and the falls were flowing so fast and powerfully! The hotel has a beautiful common room with board games and a beverage/snack area that is open to visitors and guests 24 hours a day. The room leads to a giant deck with outdoor seating where you can sit and enjoy the falls and beautiful landscaping any time of day. Below the hotel sits a cozy restaurant/bar called Glass that is open to visitors and guests, and they offer a free cocktail during the afternoon if you are staying at the hotel. The menu is contemporary, and I recommend the cheese board. My husband had one set up in our room with a bottle of Chardonnay to accompany it. The hotel was clean, and the staff are friendly and offer suggestions on things to see and do in the area. They also provide a $28 credit each day of you stay to enjoy breakfast at either Cacoon (located near the property) or Settlers Inn a few minutes away. The room was comfy with a small sitting area and queen size bed. The shower had a rainfall shower head, but it took quite a few minutes for the water to heat up. The small issues I had were that there wasn't a hair dryer and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Because we were on the first floor directly above the kitchen of the Glass restaurant below, we could hear all the dishes being moved around after closing and the room smelled of charred hamburgers all night because the kitchen exhaust somehow found its way up into our room. Besides these few small things, our stay was wonderful and I'd love to return for another stay soon.

Overall, a pretty hotel in an old building with a lovely view. The floors are uneven and the layout of the rooms are strange, but I think that actually adds to the charm, since the building was converted from an old factory. Our issue with our stay was the visibly soiled sheets that were present when we went to tuck in for the night. This required us to call the after hours innkeeper who seemed annoyed to have to come to change the sheets. There was no apology or attempt to make amends for the dirty sheets.

Stayed two nights during the off-season. The staff was extremely friendly. There is a $28 credit per room per day for breakfast off-site. The room was a two-story unit with a spiral staircase and TVs in each floor (with Apple TV, which makes it easy to stream from your phone without too much trouble). The condition of the room could be better, given the stained rugs and crooked floors. However, the bathroom with the jacuzzi and view was quite nice. The common area has a nice fireplace, board games, and a coffee pod. Outside, there is a beautiful view of a waterfall. Even during winter, the frozen water and ice were impressive.

Had an amazing stay at Ledge Hotel! Dave went above and beyond to make my visit special, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I’m not saying everything was perfect, but it was still a fantastic experience overall. The waterfall views were amazing and made it unforgettable!

As expected, this place has a great view. Unfortunately, that is 85% of the experience. The drinks are good as long as you don't focus on the price. The food is where everything really falls apart. The $40 pork chop arrived pre-sliced atop a broken sauce...and that was it, just meat and broken sauce. I suppose if the meat and sauce tasted amazing, I wouldn't feel so let down, but they weren't and here we are. If you go, I recommend drinks, maybe apps, hang out of the deck of course, then eat dinner somewhere else.

Location is beautiful. Hotel needs work. At 400 a night the rooms should be much nicer. Rooms are dirty. Cob webs and spiders in the room, gnats in the room. The windows were loaded with cob webs and were dirty. Then I get the bill. Got charged 2 days of service fees. Then got charged a donation I didn’t authorize. Got charged a room cleaning fee.
