Ledo Pizza Delivery - H Street, DC

I ordered a pickup from this place on their website. I have heard about the place from my friend. And really Ledo didn’t let me down. If you’re into little crunchy pizzas, you’re surely gonna love it. Perfectly baked pizza. Would like to visit the place again.

Today I had a 18inch pizza in this place, to be honest had a greatest experience in here . The service was so prompt,and the food quality was too good , it was too fresh . The people were so friendly and liked the restaurant’s atmosphere too. Looking forward to come again. Best in the city !!

Favorite pizza place in DC for all the original DC natives and transplants. I love Ledos. This location is excellent. Small cheese pizza extra sauce is my go to order. Love Ledos. Thank you for the excellent pizza. Best in DC.

The square pizza here is the best in the area. They take great pride in their work and never compromise on quality. The pizza is always fresh and delicious, made with the finest ingredients and prepared to order. In my opinion, Ledo's is the best pizza chain for truly exceptional pizza. I highly recommend it, and I am confident you will not be disappointed. 😁🍕 They have catering specials as well. Enjoy 😉!

I like the service and atmosphere of this location. Great customer service and the food quality is good. Having clean attractive seating is a plus.

Everything was good the pepperoni pizza was just a bit oily but my children were very happy for the gum ball machine they had in the restaurant. This is on H street in DC so you can expect a little bit of crazy but this day was chilled, I think it was because of my children being there. I forgot the cashier name but very nice man. This is the Ledo’s I know/remember. Good job, had to update my review.

The best experience I've had at a Ledo Pizza. Surprisingly good steak and cheese that's much better than your average carry out. Also was very happy to see that they offered halal pepperoni. I don't know if this has been adopted by all Ledos (Haven't been to one in years) but it was delicious. Very friendly service as well. I'm giving it 5 stars to boost the average but I would say this is more of a 4.25/5 type place. Will definitely be back!

Small place seems nice until you dine in and need to use the restroom and you're told it's out of order because the water isn't working in the store. If the water isn't working how are you washing your hands? Cleaning the chicken. Cleaning the store? I ordered wings and had to send them back because there was hair in it. Would not recommend

Great friendly service and the food was superb! Ledo's is the go to pizza for my family and this location doesn't disappoint. We also ordered the wings, which were cooked until nice and crispy and then sauced. Well done.

Grabbed a 8" vegetable pizza to go. Pizza came out fast and hot. Price reasonable, staff friendly, and inside dining area was clean and organized. Pizza is square which makes it easier to eat. The crust was more a medium type just a little thicker than a thin crust. Crust was good, slightly crisp and a good proportion to toppings. The amount of sauce was just right and not overwhelming, and had a slight sweet taste. Overall, reasonable priced pizza, and the small was plenty for myself and I had a couple pieces left for a snack later.

I am surprised I haven't been to this location sooner. H Street has improved a bit over the years. I would try to visit during the day or park close to the restaurant. The areas that used to have free parking are mostly metered now. The dining area is small and still closed due to covid. The restaurant accepts online orders, calls or just walking in. The employee was quite nice. A customer was rude to the employee for no reason. The employee was decent to him. The pizza was delicious. There are weekly specials. We like the Monday $5 Calzones.

Hands down Ledos pizza is the Best thin crust pizza I've ever tasted. The store is always clean the staff is nice and polite.

Ledos always get the job done, and I love that it's always open late! I always get the pepperoni or white pizza, and it's good! My daughter enjoys the pizza as well. I've never eaten at Ledo's, I always pick up!

Used to get takeout here before they temporarily closed and was always a little disappointed. They reopened recently under new management, however, and the quality of the food and service have both significantly improved. Glad to see them back in the neighborhood and hope they keep it up.

Fast, tasty, and cheap pizza! The pizza is square though, lol. It reminds me of childhood pizza parties - hard to put my finger on it, maybe Chuck E. Cheese? Yummy - great spot for picking up dinner when you don't want to cook, but not a date night. We did the football takeout deal with pizza, wings, and cheesy bread for $34. Great deal for pickup. Wish they did delivery though.

Man listen....in a nutshell, comfort food pizza and a carnivore's haven....at its best! Ledo Pizza is nothing new to the pizza scene here in the DC area. The original MD location and now a chain of over 90+ restaurants, have been around since the early 1950's. This "cheap-and-addictive", "tried-and-true" local pizza chain...puts a whole new spin on the traditional circular standard of pizza you normally find in the area. It's all square! Just thinking about the little flavorful, cheesy squares brings tears to my eyes while writing this review. It is a pure indulging, guilty pleasure and joy that will make anyone's cheat day worth the splurge. From the plethora of toppings piled high on top of the mouth-watering tangy-sweet sauce, oozing with a blend of mozzarella/provolone cheese......to the flaky, buttery French pastry dough-like crusts that's like munching on a soft cronut with crispy edges....its insatiable and will have you coming back for more! A foodies "thirst trap" at it's finest....The Ledo's menu is quite large, featuring appetizers, soups, salads, sub sandwiches, and Italian entrees like Chicken Parmesan, Calzones, Stromboli, and Fettucini Filomena...to name a few. Quite honestly, for a long time I didn't even know they even had anything other than pizza because it's just that good and all I ever order every visit! lol I mean, I have tried a couple of other items on the menu, but I always end up back at pizza! My "go-to" and favorite, during my recent visit and every visit....is the Ledo Deluxe Pizza! This pizza is a mammoth and a medium size weighs about as much as a 5 lb dumbbell! No kidding, seriously!! This bad boy is piled high with everything, but the kitchen sink of toppings. It's loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, hamburger, and your choice of regular or pre-cooked bacon. It's truly a carnivore's dream!...Not to mention, it's gluten-free and semi-paleo friendly for those needing to know. TIP: Get the pre-cooked bacon by the way. It taste-finishes the pizza better...otherwise the regular uncooked bacon make the pizza too soggy and oily. This pizza is the perfect fix to satisfying anyone's hunger! To change things up sometimes, I order a custom pizza of just Chicken, Bacon, Spinach & Mushrooms. This one will have you having, a moment with Jesus! There's something about the combination of the chicken and bacon....against their zesty, tangy sauce. And, the buttery, flaky crust is just something that completes the experience! The spinach and mushrooms are just there to make me feel less guilty. In all, if you can't tell by now...I am truly a fan of the Ledo's. You can't go wrong with this place. This location in particular, has plenty dine-in seating and offers carry out as well. The service at this location is always on point and the food is prepared fast. Of course, there are many pizzerias and home delivery options around the city for pizza....but they don't compare to Ledo's Pizza...imho! Yeah, the customer service at this location is lacking, but try it for yourself. I guarantee not a single square will be left from your order!!

Lived in Baltimore for over 6 years and no idea how I haven't ate Ledos before today. My go-to at pizza joints is a speciality pie with wings so no exception here. Got the Ledo Deluxe with honey hot wings and it was great. The pie has a soft and thin dough and crust and the toppings covered all the cheese- very generous toppings! The wings had a lot of meat and were very flavorful. Will definitely be going back

I went there last night and bought a small pizza and wings. I ask for extra sauce the girl handed me my pizza and it had a putrid smell. Then I asked her for two marinara sauce to go and and the top on both of them was red ash to explode. When I got home I opened the pizza the smell coming front the pizza was so putrid. I thought it was a mistake and after I ate it I got extremely sick. Do not eat food from there the code enforcers need to go there and check that kitchen.

I'll be honest. I was skeptical. Who opens a pizza shop a few blocks from the flagship &pizza? One destined to fail! Well, after dining at Ledo, I stand humbly corrected. They will not only survive, but thrive! Ledo Pizza is a DMV local pizza chain specializing in pizza that all taste like middle pieces (the best pieces). They have custom pizzas, make your own, and even subs and other dinner items. If you go with what they are known for, their pizzas come in three sizes. The smallest comes in nine pieces and is perfect for one person. My sausage and cheese pizza was perfect with plenty of tomato sauce. It was tasty AND cheap ($9.50- cheapest pizza in town). The only complaint about this location is that the service was slow, friendly, but slow. It took thirty minutes for us to get our pizzas. The space is well laid out with plenty of tables for those dining in. If you haven't had Ledo Pizza, definitely check it out!

I asked for a pepperoni pizza with NO CHEESE they gave me a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and cardboard cooked on the side and the manager with the dread LOCS medium skinned girl got smart with me because I told her I parked far and didn't feel like bringing my pizza back at that moment just for them to fix they mistake asked if I can bring the pizza back once they were done remaking the new one and she got smart trying to assure me if I touched the pizza I won't be getting the other one which was kinda rude to me I made it clear I didn't want it no way it was green card board box cooked on the cheese then she gave me this ugly look as I walked the pizza back when I found a closer parking space lol. I just couldn't believe they pressed me out for that card board pizza back

This place sucks. Every time I dont pack my lunch and I try their food I regret it and $13 dollars later. The food is never hot, fries are wet and food is always room temperature. This chicken parm sauce was thick like pudding. Isn't the sauce meant to make sandwich/sub moist? NOT. It actually made it dryer! The provolone cheese was like bubblegum chewing, never ended. The sauce had severe aftertaste likewise with fries (maybe old grease) The cashier is always nice unfortunately she has to give us the bag of trash and smile. This was the worst lunch in a long, long time. H Street chicken here I come. Again..

I was pleasant surprised because usually pizza is just pizza. I was in town for a graduation and we needed a snack since dinner reservations were a few hours away. The pizza was very good, fresh and seasoned just right. I enjoyed The square cut and slightly sweet sauce.

Let's start this review starting that this is their second day of operation and they do primarily on the job training so no week of soft openings for family friends etc... Just birth in fire. With that in mind they did a great job. For those more recent to the DC area, Ledo's is a famous chain of pizza restaurants in the DC suburbs. Not sure how many city locations they have but this definitely feels more like a quick place to order rather than the family pizzeria you would spend a long time with family and kids running around. To the important stuff... The pizza is quite good. Coming from the Detroit area I'm a fan of square pizzas especially when they don't have large crusts and this Ledo's does that great. The crust is quite crispy largely due to it being a fairly thin pizza, which I also appreciate so it isn't as heavy. The cuts are between 2-3 inches square each, which is pretty easy to pick up and eat without toppings falling off. The pizza sauce (Ledo's sauce) is tasty if a bit on the sweet side. One thing about square pizzas I don't care for are the middle sides... no crust! I knew this going in so that is OK. I also really like that if you get regular pepperoni they put one thick slice in the center of each square. It has been hard to find pizza my wife likes (food snob) but I think this might really work for her. I'll have to do an update after she tries it. Lastly they don't deliver yet and the online ordering isn't working. They are guessing a month or two for the ordering and delivery following that. They do take phone orders and were very busy ok their second day so I highly recommend calling in for take it orders. The only reason for the 4* instead of the 5 is the wait but it is totally understandable. I'm pretty sure I'll be giving them 5 in the future. Give them a try and welcome them to H St!

This looks like a hole in the wall pizza spot in a not so great area but don't let that fool you. This place is where it's at if you want good pizza! After eating here I thought about their pizza for days. It's thin, crispy and loaded with toppings. Some of the best pizza I've ever had.

The food is fine. but check you receipt because the owner likes to add additional fees under taxes and not mention it to customers anywhere. They charged me a whole dollar in "taxes" on a ten dollar order. Very Sneaky in my opinion and wrong.

Food is great of course and the building is beautiful but the customer service is trash and it takes them a hour to make a small damn pizza smh. If your in a hurry, don't go here ... And the pizza wasn't cooked on the bottom so it was soft as hell, and it wasn't cut up top so I couldn't even pull the slices apart. All after I waited a hour for my damn food !!!! Never going back to this ledos location again.

EXTREMELY LONG WAITS. I ordered my pizza at 8:47 pm and didn't get my pizza until 9:57 pm!!!! The pizza is gooey but is not worth a hour long wait at ALL. Rude staff who kept giving me attitude when asking about my pizza and kept avoiding me when I would try to keep asking her about the pizza.

Great family restaurant, prices are right and food is very good. We love their pizza crust and one of the best calzones I have had anywhere. Selection of sandwiches is good and they are tasty!

Ledo Pizza is a chain, started in our very own Maryland. We ordered two medium (14") pizzas - buffalo chicken and pesto. Their site states that each 14" rectangular pizza serves 2-4, but they're huge and easily serve at least four people. The buffalo chicken was awesome, and much tastier/better price point than Pizza Walay, also located on H Street Corridor. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were delicious. However, usually when I order a pesto pizza, I expect pesto to be used instead of the traditional marinara sauce. Ledo's version of pesto pizza was to drizzle pesto sauce on a traditional plain pizza. Kinda weird? And wouldn't recommend. All in all, solid pizza spot and would recommend overall!

Quick lunch date with my hubby was very nice Food hot service great the gentleman at the front counter taking orders was very patient with us as we stood so undecided about PIZZA like we've never eaten here before(Thank You) lol!!! I would definitely visit this location again very small but yiu must take the location in consideration..

Not sure why just about all the Ledos in the area have 2-3 stars. I frequent this ledos and have never had an issue. Pizzas and subs are always on the 1.

Was told to wait 20 minutes (it was pretty empty). I waited for 45 minutes only to be told they "couldn't make" the dish (???) so I had to just leave with a refund and without my food. Also the cashier wasn't wearing a mask the whole time. Avoid this place at all costs.

Friendly and fast! We sat in the shop and watched football while salad, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and truly massive pizza (two trays) were made. It was al delicious and the guy at the register was very friendly.

I love ledos pizza but the staff at this location (minus the black female cashier and the black cook) ARE HORRIBLE! They got my order wrong and tried to make me take a pizza that I DID NOT WANT. They honestly ARGUED ME DOWN and tried to make me take it but NOOOOOO I TURNT TF UP ON EM and they changed their mind. Got me fucked up...FOH MOEE

I am giving Ledo's one star because I love their food but taking off four stars because the last five times I have gone there, the employees have not been wearing their masks. This is a violation of DC law and because of the small footprint of the store, it endangers their customers. Not eating there again because it is a consistent problem.

People that don't agree Ledo's is the king of chain pizza places are people that I don't understand. Is this gourmet pizza? No. Is it made with organic ingredients? Definitely not. Is there a purpose to the interior pieces that don't have at least one side of flakey buttery crust goodness? Unclear. Ledo's is good suburbs pizza and for a lot of us that grew up in the DMV area some of the love we have for Ledo's might be a touch of nostalgia. After waiting for what felt like too long, the Ledo's on H finally opened. Last weekend I called in my order for a 14" (plenty of food for 2) and a salad. Although my order was ready when I got there 20 minutes later, one of the new H street luxury condo dwellers (that still looks out of place in the neighborhood) was shrieking about why his pizza wasn't ready despite ordering 30 minutes ago and shooting dirty looks back into the kitchen. Relax nerd. This is Ledo's and your pizza will be ready when the fine folks in back are completed with your masterpiece. Is it possible that they forgot to put your order in--sure, but that's half the adventure in coming here. Anyway, $18 and change for the salad and pizza with 2 toppings can't be beat. The banana peppers had a nice bite of acid to them, which only heightened the flavor of the single pepperoni that is placed meticulously on each slice. The sauce had a nice sweetness, good cheese coverage, and we all know about dat crust. Only problem with the meal was that my wife went right for the corner and edge pieces instead of taking her fair share of the floppy guys in the middle. Not cool. I often hear complaints that Ledo's doesn't deliver, but frankly Ledo's doesn't have to bother with delivery when people like myself will always be willing to make the trip in.

Horrible service and sub par food. I had to wait over 35 minutes for a small pizza that they said would be ready in 10 min. It was not busy...there were employees everywhere just standing around. The pizza that I received had no sauce on it. When I called them to rectify my order, they told me there was nothing they can do---no refunds and no remakes. I had to go back to the store (mind you there was a torrential down pour outside) and speak to the manager to finally get my $9 back. Unfortunately, I will never be able to get my time back. What a waste.

Pizza is a finger food that should be delivered, picked up, or served hot. Invest in heating racks or just leave on the oven please. Makes it worth the traffic and lack of parking. You're the only Ledos I the area. Do better. Thanks.

I went in here not expecting a great experience but wow is all I can say. Great, friendly staff, clean and the pizza was fantastic. Flaky crust, fresh ingredients made this place awesome

Ledos is always a great pizza. The only thing that can ruin H St. Ledos is poor customer service. I tried to call in an order to pick up, but was rudely put on hold several times, after going directly voicemail a few times. "Hold please...((click!))" Finally decided to head there and place an order and found the problem. Just poor, rude, distracted (personal convos) and unacceptable customer service. Someone has to explain to the manager what will happen to business if people up front aren't trained to multi-task or even care that calls are dropping and it's not even super busy. They really made a bad impression for first time visitors. Wish them well. Great location. Classic brand. Food was actually delicious. I'll be back, but know not to call.

Crispy and flaky crust with delicious sauce to top it all off! They were fast with our order and really friendly. I haven't tried anything besides pizza on the menu, but they have a pretty extensive menu. Glad that this option is available on H St.!

My wife and I stopped in while walking by and ordered two cheesesteaks and waited for over an hour for our order. Because of the wait, I told the manager (Rob) to cancel our order and he told the cashier to charge us for our drinks and never even offered an apology. Finally we got our refund and grabbed dinner at Pizza Walay instead.

I wish I could review the food here but after waiting 50 minutes for a sandwich and being told by the manager (Rob) to get over it, we decided to leave without the food. There were roughly 6 other people in the restaurant with the same complaint of a rude manager coupled with ridiculous wait times. Several of us left while other stayed, warning new strivers not to order there. This place won't see us again and I'm certain they won't last long on H st with that service.

Stopped through around 7:30 PM 8/6/2018. The young lady taking orders at the register was on point, putting her customer service skills to work. The wait time wasn't bad and what matters most, she showed her appreciation with a smile and "thank you". That means a lot in a city where customer service is out the window at most businesses. This location is new. Hoping they stay on point because there are many options for food choices in the area. I will return.

Sorry, but any pizza place that doesn't DELIVER pizza in this day and age, and in DC no less, deserves a 1/2 star as far as I'm concerned. Who the heck opens a pizza shop, and doesn't deliver? Lol.

I tried to order a Ledo Pizza online for delivery. I called two minutes after ordering as I was never asked for my address. I was told that delivery was not possible (why was it an option on the website??) Anyhow, I was told they would refund my $40 order within 2-3 business days. It has now been over a month. I have called several times and spoken to 2 different managers. I have sent the order confirmation that Ledo emailed me with the receipt. I've also sent a screenshot of my bank account showing that Ledo's H street received money from me. I've been told that they can't find my order and that the owner is looking into it. I like Ledo's pizza but will never order again. I spent $40 and received nothing but a headache!!

Overall I like ledo's. I ordered a small pizza 10 mins before closing and it was really small and thin. I understand it was close to closing time, but don't skimp on the product.

The pizza here is great. The wait was standard, nothing to complain about. Ledos is by far the best pizza!! From the original in College Park to this new H St location it is hands down a staple food of the DMV

First I called from across the street and was asked to hold bye the girl working so I hung up because the first time I called was placed on hold for 4min and I would be there before that when I walked in the only girl up front was on her personal phone not the business phone which means that when I called from directly across the street she asked me to hold because she was on a personal call then I ordered the chicken strips and fries this is what I got

Fair prices and good menu. Recommend the buffalo wings (remember to request the blue cheese and celery). Disappointed in the spring chicken pizza - pretty sure it was a cheese pizza with chicken on it. No aioli or Basil was on it at all - just red sauce chicken and cheese. We also got cheesesteaks and requested no peppers on either and both came with peppers.

Lastnight me and my boyfriend came here for a small date night. The service the employees gave us was unacceptable. We were there for 3 hours which sucked because we really wanted to try this place out. The food came in a dirty bowl and the food was cold. We both ordered the chicken and broccoli fettucine. I told the man the food was cold and the bowl is dirty and he took it back to warm it and put the food in a clean bowl.. At least that was what we thought. We sat here a hour but no food came. My boyfriend went to get his money back and was given a hard time the employees were rude and were upset. This place needs better customer service. We will not return here unfortunately. We went to &Pizza instead and that's ashame because I love the Ledo's in Virginia.

So my order came up to 65.00 i had been sitting in the restaurant a whole hour before o was told that my food wasnt able to be made because no one cared to check they prep refrigerators someone finally comes oit and say it will yake 3p min to prepare now im pissed because i been there almost 2hrs and still no food so i request my money back tbis is unprofessional i will never eat from ledos again on h street ne

Wow, they consider this Korean BBQ Pita? Never again, not worth the price or taste. Every disappointed, not like the ones in Maryland. I guess that's what you get for ordering outside of the box.

if i could give it -10 stars i would. as if taking 40 min long wasn't enough, the food was undercooked & salty AF. i can't even believe they call this food.
