The 15 Best Restaurants in Menlo Park - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This polished, Parisian-style brasserie delivers classic French comfort food with California flair. The menu leans into the hits: steak frites with herb butter, beef bourguignon, and a rich cheese fondue that’s made for sharing. The space is grand, with high ceilings, vintage posters, and a patio that’s great for a long lunch or a breezy dinner. It’s a little on the swanky side, but when the craving for classic French food hits, it more than gets the job done." - gabi moskowitz

Amazing dinner for my friend's birthday. Truly above and beyond service! The bar made us non alcoholic spritzers. The food was so good-the fondue so yummy! We loved the onion soup, quail special was delicious especially the mashed potatoes with green beans and sauce. My friends loved the prosciutto and melon salad. The tartare was delicious. Can't wait to go back. Try to ask for the booths.

My friend and I had dinner on Friday night staff was very knowledgeable. Food was incredible. Kevin, I believe the general manager came by and was very sweet. He looked like he was having fun and looked like he knew almost everybody that came through the doors. I can’t wait to go back.

One of Marin's finest establishments. The nicest people work here. The staff that waits tables have been here for years and know the menu cold. I had the tuna niçoise salad. Medallions of seared ahi with capers and white anchovy on a perfect bed of lettuce and a light creamy dressing. Absolutely satisfying.

Me and a few friends went in over the weekend and had a blast!! Kevin the GM stopped by the table to say hi. He is so sweet he even bought us dessert. Sophia was our server and told us about a delicious bottle of wine. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much left bank!!!

Google
Was driving through Marin and ended up eating lunch here. We dined outside - given we had two dogs with us. The outdoor patio is very dog friendly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The inside looks like a classic French brasserie. The food was all solid. I’d definitely return - especially to get the Lyonnaise salad, which isn’t an easy dish to find in the Bay Area…

We had the catch of the say (halibut) and Dungeness crab salad, with two refreshers. Everything was delightful and elegant. Definitely a good spot for a relaxed lunch!

Google
Just an amazing atmosphere with delicious food, and phenomenal staff. My wife, and I love coming here for date night. The Manager Kevin was so personable, and just a joy to be around.

We have loved Left Bank for years. That said, this location feels tired, and the service simply didn’t match the prices. We were served our main dishes while eating our appetizers, rarely check in on, and plates piled up on our tiny table. It was just a sub par overall experience. I want to support local businesses, but felt I needed to write this review. My hope is this wonderful restaurant finds its way back.

Yelp
I ordered the duck confit The duck leg was really tasty but it was over what could only be described as a huge bed of straw Where was the rice or potato or Anything ? Nope just tasteless straw on a lonely plate

Yelp
Delicious food. Incredible burrata salad and burgers. Lovely outdoor seating. All staff were excellent. Our waiter Paco (Francisco) was warm and wonderful. Will return. Note -- Indoors is a bit dated. The men's restroom doesn't have a baby change-table, only the women's restroom does. Would like to see that updated. Giving it 5* regardless because Paco was amazing.

Yelp
This place is dying. There's hardly anyone there anymore. The food has gone from good (though overrated) to barely mediocre. The staff looks and acts tired. You wonder why they bother to open the doors. Everything we ordered was meh, served luke-warm, and with no plating presentation. I feel like they've changed chefs recently. The new one just seems to slap the food together. I can do this myself at home, for less than half the price, so why don't I? I can just put on some Edith Piaf and it would be the same. On weekends they have live music in the mornings and mid-day. Make sure you don't come then. Not only is the music bad, but the musicians look like bums. They subtract even more from the ambiance. Cute touches, like the clocks above the bar that tell time in various parts of the world, are falling apart (literally) and don't even tell the right time anymore. Not worth the trouble to get there and find parking, which can be tricky.

Yelp
Came here to have lunch with my family to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a very nice day so we chose to sit at the patio area. It gave us a comfortable ambiance! The service staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered lots of food since it's a celebration: calamari, mussels, bread with butter, ravioli, duck confit, steak and eggs, and a smoked salmon dish. My favorites were the mussels and steak as they were both fresh and seasoned very well. Bread was soft and perfect with butter. The duck confit was good but didn't wow me; I felt it needed some herbs or sauce to elevate its flavor. The rest were good too. A great place to have a once in awhile special meal; but I thought the food flavors can use a bit more of development, given the restaurant's high price point.

Yelp
overall A: afternoon lunch of salad nicoise, duck confet, cocktails. Everything was delightful and elegant.

Yelp
I ordered a lobster roll (35) and it was stale bread , all mayo and celery and very little barely there lobster. What a disappointment!!

Yelp
Enjoyed a nice lunch at Left Bank. The food was top notch and reminded us of a Paris Bistro. The Calamari was my favorite. Beautifully fried with a wonderful creamy dijon sauce. All the dishes were flavorful, the steak cooked perfect, cocktails on point. The service was friendly and well paced. The location was bright and in the center of the delightful little town of Larkspur. The prices were a bit steep and they add a 4% fee supposedly for the staff. Really these fees should be included in the menu prices just because it makes tipping confusing. That said we will return.

Yelp
We did not know such a treasure was in Larkspur. A true bistro with all our old school favorites. Spouse saw French onion soup and knees we had to try. He bugged me to get the prosciutto melon goat cheese and mango salad absolutely brilliant. Tried the daily special red wine which was a poem in its legginess. A finer one which we were glad we tried. Did not ask who bakes their boule bread. Well done Left Bank!

Yelp
Turkey & Pork chops for Thanksgiving lunch. This is the big restaurant on Larksberg's main street. Present surroundings and well prepared meal. All nice & no surprises. It was just over $100 a head.

Yelp
I hate to do this review since i had many exceptional meals at this restaurant. i told a friend about and today was his first visit there. it started well , hostess greeted us quickly and took us to a table. Bus person showed up pour water , server asked if we wanted a beverage. Server returned asked if we had any questions and if we were ready to order. I had the heirloom tomato appetizer a couple days ago so decided to do that again. It was outstanding, great flavor, great presentation. I had had the special raclette cheeseburger the other day and it was amazing so we both ordered that. A while passes( place was busy) the server brought out to plain cheeseburgers! We explained it was the wrong order, he apologized and said it would be corrected. When the correct burgers returned they were not the right burger, instead of an unctuous piece of pork belly we had a couple slices of bacon, the truffle fries were simply fries. Not up to expectations or left bank standards. The final straw was we asked for the check and were brought the wrong check. Too bad that my friends first impression wasn't any where what I exclaimed.

Yelp
Tonight I took my wife my son and my friend to a dinner. My wife and I had our first date there about 14 years ago so thought it to be a special night. My son is 12 and ordered a grilled cheese. Our family friend is 82 and ordered a cheeseburger. They ordered the best food at the table. I ordered the escargot with Pernod and the seafood paella all to share with my wife. The escargot was overcooked and had 0 Pernod flavor. I love escargot with Pernod. This missed by far. The paella tasted overwhelmingly like saffron. All I tasted was saffron. The seafood flavor was gone. The bite of lobster that was in there was overcooked and tasted tough. When I was done I went to the restroom. I asked the staff for directions, the staff were all great. I got in the restroom and the toilet seat was covered with poop. I almost threw up. We left to go elsewhere to use the restroom. I am a career restaurant executive chef and know the reputation of this place. I am disappointed my special night was not good at all. I think sometimes standards get lost then nobody is there to oversee

Yelp
This restaurant is a staple of Marin cuisine. It is always a favorite for a birthday meal or any occasion. Kid friendly and dog friendly outside. The service is always warm, and the seating is ample, both inside and out. We have had many celebrations over the years here and highly recommended it! The typical French food is prepared impeccably, and make sure to finish it off with crème brûlée!

Yelp
We heard great things about this restaurant and had a celebratory reason to go. What an expensive disappointment. First...the burrata salad: barely any burrata. We asked our waiter (who was nice...best part of the experience) about it and he said that the staff agreed and for some reason the salads were still served with barely any burrata. He asked the chefs who gave us a thimble-full more. Why call it a burrata salad? Next: the French dip: 3 thin slices of roast beef that were average in taste. This is a $29 item. Next: the mussels: they were fair...some were closed (don't eat the closed ones) and just not at all wonderful. Very very underwhelming experience. Giving it an extra star because our waiter was really nice. But otherwise..a one. Nothing worse than a wayyyyy below mediocre expensive meal.
google avatar

Paula B.

Yelp
So sad. This restaurant is no longer authentic. Why corrupt French cuisine by offering Salad Nicoise with alien ingredients and incorrect dressing? The vast increase in prices really not justified. The location, ambience of the interior remain stellar, but can't say as much for the quality of the cuisine. Prices are up everywhere, but adding an obligatory percentage is insulting. We always tip 20%--or higher when quality/service deserves. I would personalize my rating by saying "Has been better"!

Yelp
I've been coming here randomly for years, but I've never written about it. Historically, it's been a great spot for consistent service, food and wine offerings. More recently, I've spent some lunch times here, and this is what I'm going to reflect on here. The place is always pretty busy. It's a great atmosphere honestly, just buzzing with people and good attitudes. The host and bartender are always very kind and welcoming. I am made to feel as if I am remembered upon my visits, which may or may not be true, but doesn't matter ultimately. It just helps you feel more welcome when you visit, which is part of a great experience at the restaurant... or anywhere really. One of my visits, I was just really craving a French onion soup on a rainy day. So I ordered that, along with the Salade Verte. I admit the salad had a little bit too much dressing on it for my tastes. But - the flavors were incredibly delicious, lettuces fresh, and just the right amount of shallots. The soup was downright outstanding. What I would expect from a French restaurant. On other visits I have had the cheeseburger. It is remarkable and that it is not remarkable. It's just solid, delicious food. I enjoy the fries, crispy, just the right salt. The burger and the bun work well together; nothing falls apart, and it's delicious even with all the fixings on board. The place is clean, inviting, well staffed. The menu is varied and everything I have ever tried to date has been delicious. Be prepared to circle for parking, that area of Magnolia Avenue is very busy - and you may need to walk a little.

Yelp
First time eating here and what a delight. Really classy with French feel and genuinely friendly and interesting sexy hostess and wait staff. You know a good place when you see Lots of old timers in the neighborhood frequent this place. Pomme Frittes with ribs out of this world. FRENCH fries! Superb luscious oysters, fair prices.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
I had the mussels once before and the broth was really good. Plus the mussels were a good size. The salad was just okay because I think it needed more dressing, The place was nice and service was good even though we got there somewhat late, they were still accommodating.

Yelp
Beautiful spot. A true brasserie. Classic menu with good pricing considering the location and quality. Staff ties it all together to make this a must stop if in or near Marin. We just found our new favorite spot for a night out. Martinis are perfectly chilled at the bar. You would be lucky to get Tristan as your waiter.

Biscui S.

Yelp
Used to come here more than once a week for years. Had a really nice sandwich-seared ahi tuna blt, but the price was crazy. Friend had nicoise salad and wasn't very pleased with it (they might have replaced it, but she didn't ask). They charged her for bread-she knew about the charge (lovely savvy server took it off her tab since she hadn't eaten much). Great service. We enjoyed the patio seating with our little dogs, and every employee was 5* re: service. Ambience is 5*. I will be back anytime I'm in the area.
google avatar

Jean M.

Yelp
Still our favorite! We had a great beach day with our dog, then stopped for an early dinner. They seated us outside in the shade. Water was brought for all of us immediately. The patio quickly filled up and we were very grateful for our shady spot almost out of the traffic flow. We started with their mouthwateringly wonderful bread. So good. And oysters in the half shell. A little disappointing compared to previous times. Our drinks arrived and were great (the lemonade is tops). The trout was perfectly prepared. Lots of capers and almonds, if you're a fan. And crispy-cooked fresh green beans. The salad was very fresh and the herbs tossed through it were a brilliant addition. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us and made certain we were lacking for nothing. The other servers were equally helpful and friendly. Our dog was in the aisle and everyone who worked there was extra kind to her. It was a joy to spend the cooking Fourth of July early evening outside watching people go by and seeing so many having a relaxing time in a fun, upbeat restaurant. You can't beat the atmosphere at Left Bank. Always a mood booster!
google avatar

Katherine A.

Yelp
The food is healthy and fresh! I had the tuna salad it was big, almost two servings, I'm not a fan of a lot of greens just enough. The server was so mindful I wasn't feeling too good to begin with qnd he was so patient, the outdoor patio with all the dogs were a huge plus to see

Lynn S.

Yelp
I ordered paella to go. I was really looking forward to it. When I got home and started to heat it up, I discovered the scallops were bay scallops not sea scallops, the shrimp were obviously farmed based on the color of them, and I had to add hot sauce and salt and pepper because it was rather bland kind of a big disappointment.
google avatar

Jimmy A.

Yelp
It's with a heavy heart that I bestow two lonely stars for this venerable Marin institution. This is the third bad experience and I'm finally writing a review. The good...some of the food is still great. My party had the halibut and beef burgundy ...they were excellent. The chicken was kinda meh as was the salad lyonnaise. The shrimp appetizer was also meh...good sauce but freezer tasting shrimp. On other occasions, the burger and steaks were very well prepared...onion soup and seared tuna, nah. The service is terrible. This last time especially....i mean they served us dinner before the drinks we ordered first 1/2 an hour before, arrived. The server said the half full restaurant was backed up....bro? Moreover, we had to ask for the manager to receive redress. The drinks varied from fine to awful...Negroni tasted like listerine. Not the first time I've had bad service. Finally, the bathrooms smelled of ....uncleanliness. Badly smelled. They really need to put some work into the tired and threadbare decor. Improvement is needed asap.

Monica ..

Yelp
The service was wonderful, friendly and attentive! The food was amazing!!! Try the cheese fondu, you won't regret it! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the drinks were mixed perfectly! I highly recommend this restaurant!! We'll definitely be going there again soon!

Yelp
Another pleasant evening at Left Bank. Food , service and ambiance are always reliably good. And tonight a new hostess impressed our family. "Sophia" extended a warm welcome, making us immediately comfortable as if we belonged to a very special club.

Yelp
Service is amateurish at best, the food is OK overall.very few real French entrees, food used to be better.

Yelp
I've had some reasons to be in this area as of late and have been dining here more than I normally would. We opted for a late lunch and it was amazing. I wasn't in the mood for an entree so I had two appetizers. My partner had the pork chop. My Heirloom Tomato Salad was honestly the best one I've ever eaten. I'm a total tomato snob because I grow my own heirlooms. It takes a lot to impress me. I ordered it because mine aren't ready yet. It tasted like nothing else I've ever experienced for this dish. I would go back JUST for it. The portion is also huge--unlike other locations I've been to recently, cough cough, in Albany, cough! The tuna tartare was also outstanding. I simply devoured it. I wouldn't recommend it to share though. I don't like sharing my food in general, so there's that. It's also served in a champagne glass, so you can ascertain the portion size. My dining partner said his pork chop was great. I tasted a small bite and agreed. I didn't try his dessert but he said it was great. I'm taking a point off for charging the same amount for coffee as soda water from the bar. No, not fancy sparkling water, just soda water from "the gun" behind the bar. A little bit of a value discrepancy there methinks. We dined outdoors and it was absolutely perfect. The crowd is a bit better "behaved" than at other locations where you can eat al fresco. What I mean is that I didn't see everyone buried in their phones, speaking loudly on a Facetime call, or "making a deal" that required lots of booming voices. I want to return here for an actual dinner and sit inside. This is my new go-to French restaurant. So happy I've found it!

Yelp
Great service. Delicious, comfort food. Clean! Great to meet up with friends or for a date night. Donates funds to local schools.

John G.

Yelp
Food is going downhill. They've taken many of their best sieges of the menu. What's left isn't as good as it used to be. I feel like they're getting lazy.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is simply fantastic! My parents were in town so we celebrated my birthday at Left Bank. I am immunocompromised and that went above and beyond to accommodate us, putting us in a section by ourselves. Every ounce of the meal was gobbled up through every course! Our service was impeccable! Very attentive (but not hovering) and unbelievably friendly staff. Only complaint would be how loud the restaurant is. Even sat in the back, the noise carried. The service and meal more than made up for that fact. I'm glad I chose this place!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful place, fantastic food and cocktails, attentive, friendly and swift service. It's a date night classic. You'll be thrilled.

Yelp
Hi, We came in for my bday dinner. We love Left Bank and have always had great meals. Our meal was an odd representation. Do you have a new kitchen staff or Chef? The food was substandard and below average. While the escargot were decent, the 'special' ribeye was thin like a skirt steak, was cooked on one half and barely pink on the other half (right side vs left). It was chewy and tough for a ribeye. The herb butter was good, but the Povre sauce was bizarre. I had to go to the ladies room to spit some out. The Beef Bourg was also a strange interpretation. There were three massive hunks of meat that were stringy, tough and gamey (not delicate melt in your mouth like normal). Sadly my daughter went to the restroom to spit out some she couldn't chew. Also the Chardonnay tasted thin for Latoche, (almost watered down). It was uncharacteristic and the 'champagne' tastes like a blanc de blanc and barely fizzy. If I didn't know any better, I'd never go back to LB. We wanted to express our concern. This was a particularly off night for Left Bank Larkspur. Sadly we are out roughly $300 (2 entrees, 2 apps some drinks) for a super blah, unsatisfying horrible birthday dinner. Why didn't we raise a fuss you ask? Because I just didn't want to go there on my bday in front of our family. Just wanted to express concern and feedback in case you are indeed training new kitchen staff or a new buyer that provided bad meat, wine and champagne. Best and Happy Holidays.

Yelp
LISTEN UP! I went for the first time, to have lunch with some colleagues the other day, and it felt like being transported back to Paris. We started off with a drink each. One lemon drop, cosmo, and their signature, The Bee's Knees, is comprised of lavender-infused gin, a touch of honey, and lemon. 11/10 recommend! First up was fresh baked house bread, Beet Salad, and Salade Lyonnaise, which contained the most scrumptious croutons that delivered the same crunch as the BACON! They are the same size so sometimes we didn't know what we were biting into but we were NEVER disappointed. I preferred the beet salad more than the others and ate most of it myself Then came the Steak Tartare, Moules Frites, French Onion Soup, Escargots and a Lamb Sandwich from the lunch menu. My personal fave was the Escargots. DIVINE. The fries were perfect shoe strings. The steak tartare was also really good even though I typically do NOT enjoy cold food. Everyone that works there is SUPER NICE! They're a paragon of customer service. There's lots of outdoor seating, a fireplace inside, it's drenched in natural light, and there's even a private dining back room that comfortably seats 30 (and it can expand if you need more seating since there's tables just outside the doors right there). One could sit at the bar or in any of the many outdoor options! There's a semi enclosed area in the front and the entire side is lined with the same types of chairs and tables you'd find at any Parisian spot. The chocolate dessert was delicious and fudgy. I didn't love the apple one but I'm just not a big fan of apple desserts. I can't wait to go back!

Sargon M.

Yelp
We loved dinning at LB. We always had the Trout dish for our main course. We were disappointed that it was recently taken out of the menu. We expressed our disappointment to the manager and appreciated the professional manner he reacted to our disappointment. We hope that the management would consider bringing back our favorite dish. SM

Yelp
Disappointing to say the least. I have not been here for a while as we do not that close to it right now. Service was scattered, we must have had 3 or even 4 different waiters through the evening , 2 different food runner and a person helping the waiters. He was the only one that seemed to put some effort in making sure our experience was ok, keeping an eye on the table. The waiter that took the order did ask all the right questions about the food but he might have not written them down at all as none of the few things we requested about the food came properly prepared. The food overall was a 6-7 out of 10 quality wise with a sloppy, overly simplistic presentation that even a diner can surpass. Place was busy but not crazy, we sat inside and unfortunately it seems like the place image is taking a toll from the years in business with a cold and overly used feeling/atmosphere; that said someone had mentioned to me they believed this restaurant had closed for a few weeks recently for some updates. I doubt it. The pictures from their websites must have been taken a decade ago and It is a bummer to see things have gone this way especially knowing the reputation and skills of whom is behind this business....perhaps that has changed as well. It is unlikely I will make any effort to go there anytime soon again but I sure hope they will turn this around sometime soon.

Yelp
My husband and I had an early dinner tonight at Left Bank in Larkspur to celebrate my birthday. I had a fabulous ribeye steak and my husband had the cheeseburger. We both started our dinner with the French onion soup! The food was absolutely fabulous. The service was excellent and we can't wait to go back. I left half of my steak to enjoy for breakfast or lunch tomorrow because it was so delicious. We paid our bill and after we got home, we realized that the boxed leftover steak didn't make it back to our table before we left (our fault for not remembering to ask for it)! Anyway, we called the restaurant about an hour and a half later when we realized it and they had thrown it out. They immediately offered to credit our credit card, but the steak was so good that they offered to cook us a new steak and we could pick it up. We hopped in the car and when we got there, they had a bag ready for us and it contained not only the steak but the entire meal and all the accoutrements as well! Wow! What a nice surprise and what incredible service!! Cheers to Left Bank for going over the top!!

Yelp
So you don't want to fly to Paris? No Worries...Drive to Larkspur and have a little Parisian Affair. Left Bank serves up good French country cooking in a lovely ambiance. Good Friendly Service. Yelp
It had been nearly five years since we ate here last and we decided to come here for our wedding anniversary lunch. All the entrees were tasty and the service was attentive. The above being said I almost marked this place down to three stars due to the "bread appetizer ". I get the inflation thing and charging for the bread ,but for Heavens sake this is a French themed bistro. The bread was cold and ordinary and the bread sticks were nearly stale. The fact I paid extra for this did not make me happy. Fortunately the rest of the meal did.

Natalie N.

Yelp
This is my rating of my Thanksgiving meal and experience at this Brasserie. The squash soup was superb. The turkey was moist but tasted like it was boiled , not roasted with flavor. Gravy also lacked flavor. Brussels sprouts were chewy. Stuffing and pumpkin pie were good. Our waiter was very thoughtful and pleasant.
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
Wish I could recall the 19 year old waitresses name as she was great! The oyster appetizer was great, especially the dry vermouth and chopped onions to pour over them. Yum! The trout almandine was the most "standard" thing on the menu to order and it was both tasty and just enough food for me! The tar tar beef dish my friend had and he's liked it for years! Overall we enjoy the experience.... I would suggest a couple of more standardized dinner entries! I posted some pictures! You ‍

Yelp
Great ambiance and decor. I attended at party for about 40 people. The salads were amazing All of the entrees were amazingly delicious (steak, salmon and mushroom ravioli). The service was impeccable. And the profiteroles were to die for.

Yelp
Wow, what a wonderful birthday dinner! Came here for an early dinner (gets dark too early in February). Got a parking spot right in front, score! It was a great indication of a very lovely experience. From the minute we walked in and received such a gracious and friendly greeting, to our departure with a server running out to give us hubby's phone, we had a wonderful experience. The fireplace was so warm and comforting on this chilly night. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was awesome - onion soup and salade lyonnaise were both delicious and o.m.g. the steak frites. Steak was tender and well-seasoned and the frites (fries) were hot, crispy and delicious. We were too full for dessert but they surprised me with a creme brulee in a little cup with a candle. Such a perfect ending to a lovely meal.

Stop by for lunch on a whim and sat outside on the patio in perfect sunshine weather. Both the service and food were outstanding, highly recommend for a great dining experience plus it's pet friendly, which is a fantastic bonus. Thanks, Left Bank.

Yelp
Still such a delight! Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful high ceiling dining room. Had the Salade Niçoise, perfect on a hot summer day. I always have the tuna cooked rather than seared. Never disappointed. The Profiteroles for dessert with the best fudge sauce ever, the choux pastry crisp on the outside and airy on the inside, enclosing a light vanilla ice cream a bit like a gelato, truly unbeatable even by the ones in Paris!!! Bravo!!!

Yelp
First off, I want to say this is a beautiful space in a beautiful location. The service was good and our server was nice. This review reflects the quality of food which has dramatically plummeted into an abyss in the past years. We ordered a cassoulet, a cheddar burger, 2x Raclette burgers, calamari, the soup of the day, which was a leek and potato puree with crab in the middle, and the bouillabaisse. To start, the burgers were very average. They dont state what kind of meat they use to make the burger. On top of that, they are a mess in your hands and you will have to go to wash them after. The Raclette burger comes with pork belly, which is supposed to melt in your mouth, however the pork belly on the burger was like biting into a clump of hard dirt. It was dry and burnt. They kindly replaced just the pork belly, which was still dry and bland. The burgers also had barely any seasoning in them and left you disappointed. Overall the burgers were somewhat edible, but in n out is still a better option flavor wise and on your pocket. The cassoulet didnt look like it did on the website at all, which is false advertising, and it was so salty, you might as well drink ocean water. To replace this we tried the soup of the day instead, the leek and potato, but it really was more of a bisque and was lacking flavor. The calamari wasnt too bad. It was sad though that they barely give you any calamari, maybe one small squid makes up $20 worth. Easy fix, so not sure why they skimp their customers. The bouillabaisse had good flavor in the broth. Thats it.... It has crab legs in it, but dont expect to be eating them as they dont give you anything to crack them open with. The rest of the seafood in the dish is also under seasoned and bland. For almost $250, i would go anywhere else, literally anywhere. I would have loved to enjoy a meal here but it's obvious that they dont want that to happen.

Yelp
A beautiful (and historic) setting, great bar, friendly staff, reliably good food, reasonably priced.
