Glad to see this historic place move to its shiny huge location! A new feel but friendly vibe and good America food buffet. Decor is baseball perfect and tons of seating and TVs. Only draw back was that it was very cold indoors when we went in Nov.

Not a big fan of Irish cuisine but gave it a try. Food did not look great and service was terrible. No one directing clients, dirty tables, waiters more interested in tips than being pleasant. You're totally on your own. They might be the best deal in the block (as they advertise themselves), but if service is important to you, I'd check other places out.

The place was pretty busy for breakfast on a Saturday. Food is not bad as expected but nothing particularly surprising. Corned beef hash was pretty good and different.

Lefty's was a fun time for me and everyone that came! The buffet was fantastic! I got a salad and the carved turkey with a few other items which were all phenomenal. One of my friends had ordered to the table the sliders and he LOVED them. The fries we ordered were also super fresh and delicious. We were seated immediately upstairs and were walking through the buffet in minutes. Bummed I didn't get to try their new lobster deal. I will have to try it when I come back! Overall the service and ambience was perfect for a meal with friends or family. Will be coming back again soon!

Not a bad plate of food, and at a very reasonable price for downtown San Francisco. I mean it wasn't a culinary masterpiece but hey you can't go wrong with a nice carving of ham served with steamed veggies and some potatoes. The bar was great and the bartender was both knowledgeable and friendly. I was particularly impressed with their selection of good bourbons and even more impressed with the price. I got a healthy pour of a very high end bourbon for less than $12. My only complaint is that the San Fran weather makes their TVs go out, a lot; but the atmosphere is great and the people at the bar were friendly so who needs TV anyway. This is on my list "will go again" when I return to the city in the future for work or play.

Awesome pub in a convenient location. I'm a kind of guy that likes low-key pubs rather than clubs or popular bars so I naturally go for dive bars or pubs. If your like me but want to find something a little better than a dive bar, this is a good place. It can get busy, since its in downtown SF but its worth it. Good place for a shot and a brew with some friends.

A great place to eat in San Francisco, these guys have it ready here! Huge craved meats and sides with awesome seasoning, no salt or pepper here! Fast service in the line and a seat yourself dining room. It felt "homey" in the middle of a very busy, fast day outside, this was very calming and inviting. Great place!!!
