This place has definitely created a great look and vibe. We had dumplings. They tasted very good. The service was great and quick. The prices are a bit much for what you get. It will definitely limit how often we go. I definitely recommend a visit. Next time we’ll try the ramen. I suggest they consider a small, medium, large size dumpling portion. I could’ve eaten a bucket of them. Actually they should consider that too: buy a bucket for a table to share (or me just to eat). Also table and chairs really add to the vibe. But I’d suggest seat padding.

New place in town. The atmosphere was similar to a fast food restaurant. Order at the counter, grab your food, grab your seat, and clean up after yourself. The music was too loud. The ramen and dumplings were good. The service received at the counter was nice. Friendly staff. If you are ordering dumplings and planning to dine in, upgrade to a combo for $3 so you can have a drink and fries. After we placed the order, we realized we forgot to order drinks. I paid $2.99 per a drink.

My cousin and I wanted to check this place out since it just opened. First off, the decor looked really good! Like the aesthetics gave off ancient China type of vibes. For ordering, we had to order our food first and then receive them (just like at a fast food place). Service was nice and quick. I got the Pork Ramen with the spicy “Hell” base ($8.95) & the 6- Piece Mix Soup Dumplings ($7.95). I also got the Fries and Drink combo that costed an extra $3. The dumplings were really good. Very juicy and could differentiate each flavor of each dumpling. They’re a bit small, but for the price it’s not bad at all. For the ramen, I had to switch mines with my cousin because originally she had ordered the same “Hell” base as mines but they gave her the “Tonkotsu” base instead, so I ate that one instead. We didn’t tell them anything since I didn’t mind trying it out, and since they just opened we give them a pass for that mistake. The Tonkotsu ramen was pretty good. Not the best, but not bad at all for the price. My cousin said the Hell base was good too, but it is not very spicy if you’re a huge spice fan. Also, they serve everything to you via plastic instead of glass bowls and separated the noodles and the broth so we can mix it well ourselves. I am guessing that they want to operate in a fast food chain type of way instead of a restaurant type of way, which is okay with me. Overall, I’d give this place a chance. It’s not a typical ramen restaurant, but it’s something new in the West Bank that has nice aesthetics, quick service, and good food.

We had the pork soy ramen which was ok. The broth wasn't over powering or too salty which I enjoyed. The pork smelled good and also tasted good. The egg yoke was cooked throughout. We also ordered the soup dumplings which were good. One weird thing was the meal came with fries. They were very good. Perfectly salted and crunchy. All in all, the food was tasty. Might come back for seconds. OK now what I didn't like. When we walked into the restaurant, there was a weird smell that I couldn't place my finger on. The gentleman behind the counter was coughing up a lung towards us. Music selection in the place was quite interesting. Made me feel like I was in a club or bar. Not an Asian restaurant. The floors were slippery but It was raining out which may have contributed to it. The chairs didn't have a back rest and were about 8 inches deep which made it extremely uncomfortable. If you dine in, you're eating out of Togo containers and boxes. Felt kind of wasteful.

My friend and I decided to visit after noticing this place pop up. We both ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, some Beef and Onion Dumplings, and two soft drinks. Our total came out to an astounding $40 (ignoring the tip). To experiment, one of us got extra pork. Our food was prepared fast, but that's about where the highlights end. The dumplings were good, nothing special. The garlic sauce that came with them was incredibly overpowering and downright awful. Definitely don't get that. The Tonkotsu broth was very mild and didn't taste like much, which was surprising given how heavy a typical Tonkotsu is. Tonkotsu is among the richest and thickest broths, and this felt almost as clear and watery as instant ramen. The noodles were mid. The added pork was small and felt overpriced (+$4) for what you got, but you really might as well, because the default bowl doesn't come with much to begin with. The atmosphere is incredibly tacky, and feels like a weird mix of a Chinese restaurant and a Japanese Izakaya. Their chairs are uncomfortable and small. There's a million lanterns on the ceiling, and about eight packs of fake garlic and corn on the walls. You can see them everywhere. Unsure of why this place has so many glowing reviews, definitely disagree and would hard avoid this place. 2/5 -- if you're craving soup, go to Pho Bang just down the street. If you're craving Ramen, go to Daiwa Marrero or Nobuko which is close by. They all do it better or at better price points.

First dumpling noodle restaurant in westbank. 🥟 It’s a must try!! 🍜 It is so delicious and always satisfy my cravings. Ramen is flavorful and loaded. Dumplings were attractive and savory. There were a lot of options and it is not expensive. I love it! ❤️

Very friendly and authentic atmosphere! Better than Wishing Town on the East Bank. Just found my new ramen and dumpling restaurant! Will definitely recommend to my friends and family. 11/10

Google
The dumplings were absolutely delicious! We ordered the mixed dumplings, the traditional soup dumplings, shrimp bamboo dumplings, Mac and cheese dumplings, and crawfish dumplings. I couldn’t pick a favorite! We definitely will be back to try all the other dumplings. The garlic sauce is by far my favorite sauce also. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean.

Yelp
I really loved this place. The catering was amazing the wait is a bit long but it was, because it was so packed with customers. The food was amazing and fulfilling 10 out of 10.

Yelp
The dumplings were great! Some of the dumplings were a hit and a miss but our favorite was definitely the pork and chives dumpling and xiaolong bao. The crawfish and oyster dumplings wasn't our favorite but it was definitely something different. The service is good. We have been here a couple of times and things are changing. When we first ate here, we weren't charged for extra sauce, but that's okay. We would definitely pay for extra sauce because it's amazing! The drink cups aren't as big as they use to. But it's free refills. The ambiance is cute. It fits the theme. The only thing we hate is the chairs lol.

Yelp
I have mulled over this review since our visit on Sat 1-11 for an impromptu lunch. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items? But it's more than that. I've had dumplings in Connecticut, NY, Texas and even Huntsville, AL, and this just missed the mark on lots of things. 1. It was a cold day outside, and it was a cold day inside; only the tables furthest from the door had any semblance of warmth. People were moving tables as soon as they became vacant to get away from the door. Small location for not a lot of tables. 2. Lots of incoming traffic, but they were still mopping the floor with bleach in the middle of people seating themselves. 3. 2 kiosks to order and one in person clerk. We chose in person and had to practically drag the information out of the counter clerk. I really felt like we were ordering blind. From reading reviews, we'd have been better off at a kiosk. 4. Tipped nicely, not realizing I would place the order with a clerk, pick up my order, get my own plastic ware, fill my own drink (I had to ask for the cup) and throw away my own trash. No hostess and no one seating. Note to self: tone down the tipping. 5. They were out of garlic sauce, which I was told was very good. Told they didn't have the beef quesadilla dumplings, though I'm pretty sure she meant they were out of them, since others have reviewed them. 6. Tiny wooden bench seats (no arms, no backs) are slick and not meant for movement. I am NOT a big person, but they were tinier than my fanny, and I ended up on the floor backwards on my bumm when I went to adjust my position. Nice bruise behind both knees from where my legs scraped the edge of the stool on the way down. 7. Ordered Buffalo Chicken, Philly Steak and Chicken Teriyaki. Husband loved Buffalo Chicken, and they are mild, but also bland. Philly Steak - I didn't taste the cheese until probably the 3rd dumpling? Chicken Teriyaki needed Mulan sauce for taste. Sweet chili was mostly oil. And if we had dropped them all in the same box, we wouldn't have been able to tell them apart. Took home leftovers to put in ponzu sauce, but they're still in our fridge 3 days later - forgotten. 8. HYGIENE FOLKS! Took a table to the back that had just been vacated and chose the least messy table spots on it. There was a line coming in the door, and people standing behind our table waiting for us to get up so they could sit down. Do you see something missing here? Like maybe, wipe down the table and don't worry about the floor - unless it happens to be the one I'm falling on? Really, no one was wiping down tables, and there weren't wipe sitting out for you to do it yourself. 9. Took a menu home and have a better understanding though it's not easy to decipher. Write it out for those of us who didn't grow up with dumplings and/or don't eat them every day. The pricing is very attractive, but I would only eat this as a to go item in order to avoid the bleach, slick chairs and dirty tables. And honestly, I don't even see this happening.

Yelp
The impression I get about Legend Dumplings (Mulan Dumplings?) is that it's meant to be a fast food option for dumplings. They have all of the good dumpling options and there are combo options where you can add fries and drink for a little more. Fries and dumplings is a new concept for me for sure. They all have a variety of different non traditional dumpling options. I was curious, but decided to try the traditional options first. I got an order of the Assorted Shrimp Dumplings and the Shanghai Xiao Long Bao (Soup dumplings). I ordered from the kiosk and with each dumpling order you can choose a sauce to try it with. I got a General Tso sauce and the Mulan sauce. If you wanted additional sauces it is 50 cents each. I also opted to eat in. The kiosk was pretty straight forward and I had no troubles ordering from it. When my order was ready they called my number and I came over to get it. You can grab the utensils you need and fill your drinks on the side. The dumplings came out in boxes and the sauces were individual sealed containers that were a decent size. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Xiao Long Bao in the box. It was actually a little more challenging to eat that way and adding the sauce was an additional challenge. You definitely have to use a spoon to scoop the Xiao Long Bao before you attempt to add the sauce. Besides that both dumplings were good. I wish that the sauce had a resealable top. I was unable to finish my food and wish I could have taken my open sauce home with me. The ambience reminded me very much of Ancient Chinese movies with the decoration. The owners made an effort to create that feeling and it was very unique and appreciated. Service: It was good. You can order at the kiosk or at the counter. When your order is ready they will call your name. Drinks: Non alcoholic drinks. Parking: There's a parking lot with plenty of parking. Pets: Not Allowed. Outdoor Seating: None

Yelp
I tried the beef ramen with hell base & the mixed soup dumplings. Both were great but I really enjoyed trying the assortment of dumpling. I got it as a combo which came with a small portion of fries and a small drink. I would come back probably when I want something lighter to eat. The staff was friendly and it's nicely decorated inside.

Yelp
This was a great first experience and I definitely want to visit again to try other dumplings! My husband and I ordered: beef and onion traditional pan fried, steamed soup dumplings, and each got an order of mixed dumplings (chargrilled oyster, beef quesadilla, cajun shrimp, crab and cream cheese, kung pao chicken and pork and chive. The standouts: beef and onion, beef quesadilla and kung pao chicken. The disappointments: chargrilled oyster and crab. Everything else was very good! The soup in the soup dumpling could use a little more flavor and they needed bigger spoons to accommodate the soup dumplings. We tried all of the sauces and all were great!

Yelp
Dumplings are already almost the perfect food, and this place is dumpling nirvana, joy served in little pouches of dough. We had: pork & chive, xiaolong-bao, oyster, chicken teriyaki, Philly cheesesteak, mac n cheese, and crawfish. Some we liked more than others, but they were all very good. Ended up ordering the combo that comes with fries, which initially seemed extra until the end of the meal when, dumplings demolished, used the fries to finish up the dipping sauces. Ambience nice, lots of wood, not too bright, or loud even though all tables were filled, music low. Service also good. We'll so be back.

Yelp
Great service! Recently opened across the river in Harvey in a pretty convenient area. Everyone who works there is very welcoming and nice. The menu has a bit of everything from chicken to shrimp and even Mac and cheese. The garlic sauce that comes with it, is a must try and adds to the flavor of dumplings. Perfect for a lunch meal or something quick to pick up on the way home.

Yelp
Just tried this restaurant on opening day. Good selection of dumplings and noodles. I ordered the chargrilled oyster dumplings and crab (imitation) ramen noodles with miso broth. Both were good and I plan to go back soon to try the other selections. I'll try shrimp ramen instead of crab next time. They are in the Target shopping center right beside AT&T to the right. Check them out.

Yelp
I was doing some shopping and happened upon this cute dumpling place! They had so many options, and it smelled so good when I walked in. The man that took my order was very nice, and he made sure to hand me a menu to keep if I wanted to call in an order. I got the chargrilled oyster dumplings, and they were great! I ate them with garlic sauce and mulan sauce, and they were both delicious. I feel like they were reasonably priced, so I'll be trying them again!

Yelp
This place is so cute, love the decor inside as well as the concept. All the dumplings are affordable and there's a good variety. Really recommend the xiao long bao! Dumplings came out steaming hot and service was really friendly and helpful. Gotta come back to try out all the different dumplings.

Yelp
I'm going three stars, for now, but am willing to give them another try. I had the soup dumplings (Shanghai Shengjian bao). They were very small and lacked any flavor. A few were very doughy, but others weren't, so the consistency was odd. I also thought there'd be a dumpling type sauce, but I was only given a spicy chili sauce (I don't like spicy food, so that's a personal preference). I also thought it was super odd that the side was French fries and not a noodle or rice. The service was great, there were only three customers there. The appearance of the inside is awesome. I hope to try another dish and hope I can upgrade my review, especially since they're new.

Yelp
GLUTEN ALLERGY AND CELIACS BEWARE - I hate to leave a review this negative but people need to know. The website and menu both say that EVERYTHING in this restaurant is gluten free, I called for clarity, and the manager on duty said that's completely incorrect, nothing on the menu is gluten free or able to be made gluten free. This is incredibly dangerous misinformation and I felt the need to share before someone gets extremely ill.

Birdy L.

Yelp
Dumplings were great and atmosphere was fun yet cozy ...I had the steak and onion dumplings with garlic sauce/ mulan sauce and szchewan sauce all delicious

Katie W.

Yelp
I wrote "peanut allergy" at the kiosk that I was told to order on. When the food was ready, an employee even said "peanut free." However, my spouse bit into a dumpling and it had peanuts in it. The manager didn't say anything to us, and the employee had to call him to give us a refund for that one dumpling order. He apologized once but seemed to care less about what could have happened. It's 2025, and plenty of people have peanut allergies. He then told me it was because I ordered at the kiosk, but I had communicated my allergy. The food was frozen dumplings and boring ramen.

Yelp
The food is alright, it reminds me of food stored and then cooked. The presentation and menu is really nice and give them 5 stars on. The rest is 3.

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Decorations are nice but the first red flag was that when we first walked in, it didn't smell like food. It smelled like cleaning products/ bathroom? We ordered two chicken ramens, crab and cream cheese dumplings and a kids meal. To start off the ramen is definitely instant ramen. The chicken in the ramen is some kind of frozen Tyson chicken that tastes nothing like the actual soup. The ramen itself had no flavor other than salt. The crab and cheese dumplings were very dry and you have to purchase dumpling sauce on the side. The kids meal came with fries and 3 different dumplings. One of which was a Mac n cheese dumpling that made us gag. Everything comes in plastic containers and you have to order at the counter, get your own food at the counter, get your own drinks, and throw your own trash away. We were very excited to try this new place but unfortunately, we will not be back.

Yelp
Eat the best food you ever eat I wish I had known about this McDonald's here I wish you its cheap
