Customer service is terrible! If you don't take orders over the phone, let your customers know. Don't make them order, show up, and then act like they never called. For example, the cook took my order over the phone, but when I arrived, he pretended not to remember. The owner just excused it, saying he's "just a cook."
To improve customer experience:
1. **Clear Communication**: Make it clear on your website, social media, and phone system whether you take orders over the phone.
2. **Training**: Train all staff, including cooks, on customer service basics and the importance of consistency.
3. **Confirmation**: Implement a system to confirm phone orders and inform customers of the expected process when they arrive.
4. **Accountability**: Ensure staff are accountable and aware of their role in the customer service chain.
5. **Feedback**: Regularly seek customer feedback to identify and address issues promptly.
