Best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’m almost 70. Visiting my family here in Clarksville had to try the spots from Food Network Guys Best Bites and this is my best bite by far! My family signed up to be a Secret Legend Mafia Burger Club got a special card with special burgers only offered to the Mafia. The Mamba was to die for the flavors do Justice for the Legend Kobe hands down as a SoCal Native he would have been proud to have this burger named in his honor. The HugeJazz was one of the largest burgers I’ve ever seen and the flavors of eggs and smoke meats were phenomenal! My grandson who is a very picky eater took a bite of everyone’s burger and even loved the Mamba! This restaurant expanded on foods little man likes so that’s a huge plus. Now the bbq sauces each burger had a different sauce the Mamba blueberry and mustard sauce were mouth watering good, but the bottle of “regular” sauce on the tables were something I had never tasted I choose to dip my fries in it and am having a bottle shipped home. The fried okra was something new for me it was so delicious and when in the south you must eat collard greens, best I have ever tasted. We also tried the Apple Bottom, the cinnamon apples on the pulled pork was like dessert with this mouthwatering savory perfection of smoked pork. When I come to visit I will be back! #bestbiteinclarkville!

Unforgettable Southern Flavor at Legends – A Highlight of Our Trip This was absolutely the best meal of our entire trip. We flew into Nashville, rented a car, and headed out to central Kentucky for a guided fishing trip we had planned for the next day. Having never experienced authentic Southern BBQ before, we chose Legends on a whim and a prayer — and wow, were we in for a treat. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. We were served by Avery, one of the friendliest people we met on the whole trip, and were personally welcomed by the owner, Kevin. His passion for the menu was infectious — he had us excited before we even placed our order. The food? Incredible. We had the best BBQ, hush puppies, and greens we’ve ever tasted. Every bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And the desserts? Otherworldly. Truly some of the best we’ve ever had. “Delicious” and “fun” are the best words we can use to describe our time at Legends. We loved every minute of the experience and will absolutely be back. Thank you, Legends Team — you made our trip unforgettable.

While visiting the area, a local recommend this restaurant. Ordered the brisket, mac n cheese, with fries that I really enjoyed. My friend ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. One of the ingredients ran out. The owner made up for it by offering us dessert on the house. Great guy with an amazing personality, helps his community out, and is focused on business success. Eat local enough barbecue and you will always recommend local barbecue. Legends Smokehouse & Grill is different from the barbecue I get at home but it is superior to what you get at a chain restaurant. Well seasoned if a little over sauced for my tastes this is a good place to get a quick lunch. I had the 3 Barbecue Tacos, chicken brisket and pork a side of beans and collard greens and a tea for about $25 out the door. Help yourself to the tea, order at the counter and they bring it to you. Eat local and support local restaurants.

Food was amazing. I got the Original brisket pizza and the Trinity to share for 3 people. You could easily feed 4 people with the portions given. The price is quite low for the amount of food.

UDATE...4/20/25...... this place NEVER disappoints!!! The okra was the best I've EVER had!! Perfectly seasoned & lightly fried!!! We had to wait a little while longer, but we were given an extra side of brisket & the delicious peanut butter banana pudding!! Oh my my my!!! Everything was delicious!!! I love their white lightening sauce!!! It added a nice touch to the tacos!!! No complaints EVER about Legends!!! The staff are friendly & so helpful!!!! The food was delicious!! I had brisket tacos & my husband had the brisket sandwich! The brisket was tender & juicy! The crunchy coleslaw was perfect on the tacos!! The bbq sauce is not too sweet & not too smokey it's just right! The seasoned tots were really good & so was the fried okra!! The servers were nice & friendly & helpful. We will definitely go back again. We want to try the peach bourbon chicken pizza 🤤

My husband and I were just at Legends for the first time, and yall. I got the brisket sandwich, my husband got the dry rub ribs, and sides of baked beans, greens, hush puppies, and okra. Now my husband smokes brisket by which I judge all other brisket by, and this stuff was legit! And the ribs…omg the ribs. Didn’t even need sauce, but Legends makes several flavors of BBQ sauce. My favorite is the Peach Bourbon. My husband got the pineapple habenero, and we got some OG. It was so good you wanna reach out and slap your mama. The portions, especially for the price, were very generous. The atmosphere is super nice, and the GM Christine is as sweet as she can be. We are already planning our next visit so we can give their desserts a try…

We stopped in on our way back to Albuquerque, NM. This place is amazing! The food was fantastic… I had the “Whatever the Hell Burger” and it was off the chain! Mac&cheese, smoked turkey, cheese sticks and it was delicious! If you’ve never been to Clarksville, give this place a try! 😋 Thank you, Legeneds!!!

This is not your typical barbecue joint. The menu has some wonderfully creative dishes and I will have to go back to try more. I had the Trinity, which is a combination of fries, tots and nachos with pork, brisket and chicken on top, covers with cheese and barbecue sauce. It is the ultimate in comfort food and so good. All three meats are good. Good smoked taste and tender. The sauce is good as well. My bride had the taco trio. The brisket taco was the favorite but all three were good. Every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. The owner brought out a side of Mac-n-cheese for the grandkids just to bless us! Kevin is his name and he is worth the visit all by himself. The sides are good as well and they are thinking of adding barbeque quesadillas to the menu! He let us sample those and I pray they are on the menu next time! The restaurant has been there for a while and is a quaint comfy place that feel at home in. I will be going Back! The burger menu looked phenomenal!

I came here with my bf after seeing them featured on TV. First impression: the pulled pork sandwich had no flavor. I'm not a fan of putting any sauce on smoked meats, but the spicy BBQ sauce really saved it. My bf realllly like the blueberry BBQ sauce. The baked beans, green beans, mac n cheese, and fries were all good. The brisket sandwich would be the reason I return. The brisket was great and I'd like to have it topped on some nachos.

Food was absolutely the worst BBQ I've had in my life and I've had some bad BBQ! Service was ok because of the lady's age so I can deal with that. Having to order smoked wings at least a day ahead in order to get some because "the cook has to go grocery shopping," is totally ridiculous! Pulled chicken and ribs were less than flavorful... try NO FLAVOR AT ALL! Sausage belonged in a crab boil bag with the way it was sliced. Almost $70 bucks later, I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog kennel. Thanks for nothing Oh yeah, and the GREENS was a complete joke! I'd love to know who cooked those because it's a whole embarrassment and they shouldn't be allowed in the kitchen!!!!!

You're well taken care of from the moment you walk in until you're rolling out the door, stuffed and satisfied. Madison, Jeremy and all the top-notch dedicated crew keep doing what you do best! Great lil BBQ joint on Riverside. They are veteran owned so a big plus in our books! They serve some pretty decent barbecue here. I just was sad that they were out of Brunswick stew and the brisket. I tried the pulled pork. Very tasty and moist. The barbecue sauce is a vinegar based sauce with just a tiny hit of spice. Hands-down, the cinnamon apples were superb. The boss man especially enjoyed them on the apple bottom sandwich. He said the potato salad was quite unique. We differ on our opinion with the baked beans. I feel the baked beans were relatively good, but by far my favorite was the hush puppies. They keep a relatively clean environment and funny signs in the restroom! I was too full to try dessert. And they didn't have any cobbler for the boss man to try. But other than that, we enjoyed our experience here and will definitely give it a try again.

We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it did not come with any sauce, just dry pulled chicken on a bun. I am not sure if that was a mistake but I added bbq sauce and it was good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and overall would go back if we knew it would be quicker.

Ordered chicken tacos, green beans, Mac and cheese, and a side of fries.. the order of fries was 5$ and I will include picture.. they were cold, not seasoned and I got like literally 10 fries. Chicken was dry, green beans had no salt at all, Mac and cheese was okay.. the bbq sauce was good I'll say though.

I will admit I saw this on Best Bite in Town in the Food Network. Well it was great! Both my husband and I ordered the Mamba Burger-I ordered Hush Puppies. I always want to try a new hush puppy. Legend's did not disappoint. My husband ordered seasoned tots-they had good flavor but were even better with a touch of Legend's homemade BBQ sauce. We also had the Toffee Butter Bundt Cake-so buttery good! And the banana pudding good as well both homemade. We found ALL the calories!!! We will be back!

Legends was suggested to me by a customer, so I made a beeline after work. I was in the mood for some barbecue nachos. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the young lady sensed it was my first visit, so she started explaining the popular menu items. They have a nicely creative menu, and the specialty sandwiches sounded great, but I was locked in on those nachos! Based on her recommendation, I also got a Trash Taco - essentially a fully loaded breakfast taco. I ordered both with pulled pork. The nachos have a house made queso and what appeared to be house cooked chips. Some places try to melt shredded cheese on their nachos, and I find it never works for BBQ nachos. The queso was perfectly mild & didn't break with the sauce on it (which sometimes happens). The portion size was substantial for one person. The Trash Taco had pulled pork, cheese, hash browns, eggs, and (unfortunately) raw onions. I was able to pick around the onions. Had I been more aware, I would've ordered it without them as I find them inedible. My fault, not their's. You order at the counter here, and they bring your food to your table. Two different employees came by to make sure everything was great. It was. They are so friendly here! You have to give them a shot. For fairly early on a Saturday evening, the dining room was mostly empty. You should not pass them by.

UPDATE: Every year I come back to Tennessee this is one of my favorite destinations. Brisket and spare ribs on point! The Habanero Mango sauce packed a bigger punch than I remember! WOW it's spicy! Will burn every tastebud off your tongue! Love, love, love this joint.

Absolutely fabulous BBQ Joint! Hands Down The Best You'll find in town! & our new Family Favorite ! Incredible family atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door! So welcoming and knowledgeable about all their unique creations ! Our daughter struggles to sit still when we are eating out and she even made herself a friend with the owner and chef playing peek a boo while we finished our meal. He gave her crayons to color and she was set! Legends forever has us on their regular lists now !

Ordered for my family. First impression, the place was dirty. The floor still had food on it from the previous day. I had to wipe off the highchair before my child could sit in it. Nobody was upfront when we entered. The ice machine was out of ice and nothing was stocked. The food was dry and no flavor. I was really excited to try this place but would not recommend it.

The older gentleman cooking was nice, and so was the one who brought us our food. the Cashier we had today seemed like he was in a bad mood, and shook his head rudely when we ordered. The food wasn't good, I could've made the nachos in my microwave; and the chicken sandwich was dry and had nothing on it. The soda machine was dirty and tasted odd. The pros would be that the men's bathroom was clean, they had a lot of seating inside and some outside. But don't bank on eating outside because the traffic is loud. In conclusion, we drove 30 minutes for a bad experience. I would not recommend this to any of my friends or family and won't return due to better options.

The food here was phenomenal! Even better was the service. The workers were smiling and looked like they enjoyed their job. The owner was very passionate about his job. He even let us try the Pork n' Roll even though we didn't order it and it was delicious. It's a cinnamon roll with pulled pork and honestly, it was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. It's a must try! I will definitely be coming back :)

What can I say... this place has unbelievable barbecue! We had The Trinity. I'd definitely recommend it ! Also their desserts are awesome. Make sure to try the banana pudding shake !

Who is really good little pricey, but it is good food fingers crossed I like the restaurant I like the atmosphere is very well. Seating was really good. It got really packed and it was really loud in there but overall it like a three stars.

I've eaten here twice extremely warm family friendly environment. You are treated like family. There extremely accommodating as well not to mention if you're military you get a discount as well the owner is prior military as well. I've been to all the restaurants in the main part of Clarksville and only eat at two places strawberry alley and black horse and this place has topped them both best food I've tasted in a hot minute they should be a 10/10 restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch to go today. It was so cold inside that it hurt my review. However, the staff were so kind and respectful, and I felt welcomed. I ordered the rib lunch with two sides. When I left, they gave me extra sauce, too. When I got home, I enjoyed meat falling off the bone as well as homemade macaroni and cheese. I ordered the green beans, too, and I found them to lack flavor. Overall, I have found a great little BBQ place, and I look forward to going back.

My favorite go to has always been BBQ and when I visit a new place I have to see what they have. Especially my first time in the south I have to have BBQ. Legends does not disappoint. I had the napitime. A mix of brisket and sausage topped with coleslaw. With a side of baked beans. The beans were so yummy!! Collard greens never had them they were great. I was told vinegar is in them. They had me with that love food with vinegar. Gotta try this place. So quaint and staff is amazing!! Wow!!! So good!! Highly recommend!!

The food and service are top notch. We ordered the brisket and then were given the burnt ends to sample. We got a pound to go! The owner is so friendly and super passionate about the food and his customers. Be sure to try the Oreo Banana Pudding!

Best BBQ in Clarksville and THE nicest staff and owners. They are always coming up new and different menu items to temp you to try like the dessert tacos and bbq flatbreads. They also have a +1 program to feed those in need. You won't be disappointed.

Really enjoy the barbecue here. My whole family are repeat customers. Legend's has plenty of seating and they're open for more than just a few hours a day -some of the outstanding local bbq is totally limited for seating... or totally limited in the hours they keep. This place should be showcased on Diners, Drive ins and Dives -they have plenty of creative signature dishes that express their passion for good food. Terrific food!

Absolutely delicious! Fresh food and amazing flavors! Had all the BBQ standards but so much more as well. Kevin and his wife are great people. First time in after driving by dozens of times and we are kicking ourselves for not stopping in sooner. Had the Brisket Tacos and the Bone Crusher Burger. Top Tier BBQ! Can't recommend this enough! The deco is cute and well suited to the family feel of Legend's We will be back!

We had a 5 star experience here at Legends. My rib tips were nice and smokey with excellent seasoning and the fried okra and baked beans were quite good too. My wife got the chicken tacos with onion rings and green beans. I was quite surprised because she does not like condiments, but she loved the BBQ sauce. She's not a fan of coleslaw either but she was putting the coleslaw and bbq sauce on these tacos and sucking them down like they were going out of style. We will definitely be back for more!!!

Mac and cheese is good if you like a lot of cheese Didn't ask for it, but would've liked some spicy bbq sauce. every table has ketchup , bbq sauce, and louisiana hot sauce. I was offered free cobbler for my next visit because they had none when i asked for it. very kind and clean

I loved the welcoming atmosphere first to begin. Second the food was phenomenal absolutely what barbecue food should be. Finger licking good. And the owner of the new restaurant opened was very professional, spoke with us customers while we ate. I recommend this restaurant highly and am honored to rave about it.

Relocated from Tiny Town Road, I believe, we were excited to see a new BBQ place a little closer to the areas we haunt in Clarksville. Legends moved to Riverview Drive, which extremely accessible to us, so we went for dinner. It's a nice place on the inside, big dining areas, and the people were friendly. We ordered and paid at the window, and they brought the food to our table. Mister ordered the pulled pork sandwich with mac & cheese and coleslaw. I had the pulled chicken with mac & cheese and baked beans. It was all pretty good. I was rather surprised to see how small the portions were for the amount of money spent. I'm used to getting much more bang for my buck at one of their competitors. I might find myself back at Legends at some point, but for now I'm going to stay with my regular BBQ place.

Their dirty pork fries are amazing and great portions. Staff is really friendly and food comes out fast. They keep their restaurant really clean. They close a little earlier than other businesses so check the hours before going.

Just down from Boston visiting family they took us to their new location on Wilma Rudolph Blvd great experience food was amazing we had the Trinity holy bang bang bang big portions and the taste was amazing try some of their BBQ sauces so good and their milkshakes took me back to my childhood had an amazing food experience will definitely go back before we head back up north

My first time at legends, and I was not impressed in the least. Delivery of the food was great, presentation was good. I had the rib platter with two sides of okra and collards. I am mediately noticed that the membrane was not removed off of the ribs, which made it hard to remove the meat. They had a nice park and a light to medium smoky flavor. There was a slight tug to get the meat off the phone which was great. High side of collards were bland and absolutely lifeless. I okra was crispy on the outside, but totally raw on the inside. My wife had green beans which were about as bland as you cook get. Overall, the ribs were OK in flavor but without removing the membrane, it took the life out of the ribs. Will we be back? Probably not.

first and for most, AMAZING FOOD! we barely moved to Clarksville less than a month ago.. seeking some barbecue & this place DELIVERED a phenomenal meal! owner is an amazing man, super friendly & welcoming.. took my 2 year old for a tour of the kitchen lol! this is a must if you are looking for good people, local & even BETTER food! The food at Legends is legit. I've now had brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken and they are all amazing. The sides are fantastic...the mac and cheese is phenomenal and the slaw, baked beans, tater tots, etc. are all really good. The owner greeted us and even brought over a free sample of the new oreo banana pudding. I wasn't sure about it, but after the first bite I was hooked. It is sooooo good. The atmosphere is laid back and it has a great, family feel....while at the same time providing space for a date night. We loved everything about our experience at Legends and will absolutely be visiting regularly moving forward. If you haven't stopped by yet, do it...you will not regret it.

My review is only based on the food. I ordered door dash and everything was great with that. My ribs were great! Juicy, tender, and very smoky. Potato salad not so much. It tasted store bought and bland. Collard greens were dry and not very flavorful. I put some of the bbq sauce on them and that helped but they were lacking in flavor.

My family and I wanted to try Legends while we were in town visiting since we'd heard such great things about it. It did NOT disappoint, and it was even better than I could have possibly expected. The food was DELICIOUS. We were all trying each other's food to experience the different options. It was so good that I had to try their dessert, which was also amazing. The service was also amazing- the staff was very friendly and personable and really seemed to care about customers. Kevin and Trinity in particular stood out to me. We felt very taken care of. We will be back again soon, and I am excited to try more of the menu.

The most delicious, tender & lean brisket I've had since living here in Tennessee now. I'm Texas born & raised so I know good beef! I had a brisket plate with collard greens & mac n cheese.

Do not pass this place up!! The food is incredible, we tried the pulled pork, brisket, and rib tips. For sides we had fried okra and Mac and cheese. It was fantastic! The interior of the restaurant is nicely updated with a more modern feel. Bathrooms are spotless and also newly remodeled. The staff was wonderfully friendly and the on duty manager was sure to stop by and introduce herself. Will definitely be returning!

When it comes to BBQ, I'm very particular. We both had the pulled pork sandwich with fries, which were great! The regular hot sauce is delicious!
