The Best Sports Bars in Seattle

"This mall-adjacent sports bar is co-owned by Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor (Legion, as in of boom), so it makes sense that this is a football player’s idea of paradise. TVs everywhere, an extensive cocktail list, a soul food–influenced menu that is more ambitious (and a bit pricier) than your average sports bar. For all the high-end aspirations here, there’s nothing wrong with the smash burger, a pair of perfectly crispy, caramelized patties that feels like dessert." - Harry Cheadle, Eater Staff

Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If the term "Legion" sounds familiar, you were probably living in Seattle around 2013. So it's no surprise that Legion Sports Bar & Grill has been opened by former Seahawks (and Legion Of Boom members) Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. This new Bellevue spot is an upscale sports bar in Downtown Bellevue that adds to the list of other upscale sports bars in Downtown Bellevue. Expect soul food-inspired dishes, like cornbread-topped crawfish pasta, chopped cheese sandwiches, and deviled eggs with green tomato jam." - Kayla Sager Riley

Had a great time at Legion Sports Bar! I came in on Wednesday, 4/30 around 6pm and was really impressed with the service. There was only one server working the floor (I think his name started with a “D”), and he was awesome—super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and smooth. I ordered the deviled eggs with shrimp and the chopped chicken honey jerk sandwich. Let me tell you—that honey jerk sandwich was amazing! Perfect balance of sweet and spicy, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries that came with it were a bit of a miss (cold and a little hard), but honestly, the sandwich more than made up for it. Definitely looking forward to coming back—and shoutout to the server holding it down solo with such great energy!

Nut allergy friendly: No issues with anything I had. Time to Food: ~8 Minutes Happy Hour weekdays from 3-5PM or reverse late night happy hour Friday/Saturday 10pm-close I arrived around 7PM on a Thursday and got to sit myself anywhere. Entrance is down across from the Westin, near the public parking. Lot of TVs inside and it is decently loud with the sound of whatever sports game is playing. I was approached reasonably quickly and informed that they were almost out of oxtail and a certain appetizer. I got the gumbo (they only had two left when I was there) and the cornbread. - Gumbo (4/5): Great portions, very flavorful spice. I thought the sausage was a little tough but overall I really enjoyed the seasoning and mix of proteins. - Cornbread (3.5/5): Again, excellent big portion. It was a tad sweet for me, being a texture similar to a creme brulee where they caramelize the top. I thought it was slightly too grainy of a texture but I think some people would really enjoy this, and it's very sharable. Really polite service all around and solid portions for Southern bar food. I paid via inKind with a referral credit with no issues.

Got the happy hour smashburger and Cajun shrimp - the burger was good and filling, and the shrimp was flavorful with great Cajun seasoning. The atmosphere was quieter than expected for a sports bar, which was actually perfect for conversation, and the cool decor with local artwork throughout really impressed me. As an upscale sports bar with Seahawks connections, it’s definitely a must-visit for any sports fan. The service was exceptional and the elevated comfort food paired with crafted cocktails makes this place stand out from typical sports bars.

I had an amazing experience at Legion Sports Bar! The food was absolutely outstanding—definitely some of the best soul food in the area. The flavors were rich and satisfying, truly da bomb! The service was good too, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it is a fantastic spot for great food and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend! ---

Google
Food was excellent! Service was super friendly. A little spendy but that’s Bellevue. Lots of TVs to watch sports but still pretty upscale. A good mix. Big Seahawk fan, hoped to spot Sherm or Kam but had a good time anyway, they’ve got a great thing here! Try the Purple Reign cocktail, it’s delish!

Google
We recently made our first visit to Legion and regretted that it took us so long to visit! The southern inspired menu was delicious, the cocktails were amazing! In a time where service is at an all time low, Alika (our server) was amazing and attentive! She not only checked on us with authentic care, she stayed and shared stories with us! We could not have been happier with our visit! Thank you Legion for far exceeding the expectations that other nearby restaurants have set. You are the best of the best!

Google
I came for an R&B event so didn't eat but loved the property, decor and the staff were attentive and professional. Loved the cocktails. Will be back to try the food! Update: made it back for food and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Oxtail: smothered with gravy and fried onions. A little different than I'm used to but still delicious. 4/5 Red beans and rice: favorite of the night. Delicious. 5/5 Lemon pepper wings: a little disappointed with these. They tasted baked with not much seasoning. 1/5 Cornbread: delicious. 5/5 Yams: Delicious. 5/5

Google
The food was decent, but not as good as I had hoped. Definitely not like your grandmas soul food. Although the kale salad with steak added got a glorious recommendation. I enjoyed the fries and catfish sandwich and was told the corn bread was good. Wouldn’t recommend the sweet potatoes or the regular Mac and cheese. I love the little football pick for my sandwich. I kept it :-) GO HAWKs!!

Yelp
Location next to Westin hotel and near Bellevue square. Absolutely dry and not busy on Saturday night 8pm . I kinda like walking into non busy environments . Good n drinks and noise level are usually better. Music was perfect loud enough to enjoy but still can hear your table talk! Food and drink names were interesting . Was not a fan of my 1st drink way tooo much ice for Bamma drink 1player . Bathroom ambience didn't match restaurant ambience ! Ladies if u kno u know !! I wld definitely go back for a good game !!

Yelp
First off the food was delicious Problem came from then beer and making reservations. I had made reservations for a party of 5, when we arrived they said we did not have any reservations in the system even though I could produce the email confirmations and texts. No one would take responsibility and it seemed like they didn't believe me or care about the confusion. When I ordered a hazy IPA, it didn't taste like an ipa, and didn't look like a hazy beer, it was the clearest, more like a Pilsner, I questioned it and kept being told that I was the one who was wrong. Waitstaff should have some knowledge of the drinks and food they are representing

Yelp
Typically, I share lots of food photos but visit was a catered event. So the food was a buffet which was not okay for photos. We were in a private room and the buffet was outside the room to the side. The buffet offered all the items you could purchase off the menu. Fried catfish, steak and potatoes, collard greens, Mac and cheese, grilled veggies. The best things in the entire buffet was the steak and potatoes. The meat was so tender and the potatoes were roasted to perfection. The grilled vegetables was yummy too. We had a waitstaff person designated to our area and he was very attentive. I want to go back to have a full experience.

Yelp
This place has a lot of potential. It's a cool environment with lots of screens for watching the games. The biggest issue on my visit was the customer service. They got my order wrong but weren't sure that they could fix it since the brunch service was over. They said they'd talk to the manager, so I assumed something was happening. Forty minutes later, we learned that nothing was actually happening. There was a break in communication somewhere and the server didn't take any accountability. Instead, they offered to comp the incorrect meal - a meal I didn't order and one that they didn't even give me the option of eating. I was so hungry, I honestly would've just eaten and paid for it. When I realized they didn't have any food coming for me, I decided to just eat some wings that someone else at my table ordered. They were ok wings. The burgers looked good though, and I liked the drinks. Seems like a great place to get together and watch the games. Based on my experience, though, can't recommend them for their food or service.

Yelp
Food was good! Service was attentive I came here to watch the game & celebrate my birthday We had no idea a trivia game was happening & was told they come in on Tuesday nights which was fun! The atmosphere was inviting...I'm a mood lighting girly & appreciated cozy booth seating near the projector of the game! I'd come back but maybe would order something different to try

Yelp
I went there for a catered event and was so impressed with the food. I walked around and all the employee's were so pleasant and I enjoyed the ambiance.I want to thank Alika and Allie for the above and beyond excellent service. I will definitely be going back . I felt like I was at home with family because everyone was kind and caring. and the food was so good. Especially the shrimp and grits.

Yelp
I really like Legion Sports Bar. Legion is like if a steak house and a sports bar collaborated - heavy on the wood furniture, classy, mix of high and low tables, and football related art. Legion was founded by Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor (with restauranteur Leilani Wong) so yes, it is a true sports bar with nice paintings. It won't beat you over the head with the football theme, but if you know, you know. There are plenty of monitors so no bad views of games. On this particular day I went with a dear friend of mine who has mobility issues. She was able to navigate through the restaurant with her walker with ease. We sat at a low table and we were the only people there for the first hour. We came shortly after opening. Our waiter was also the bartender - an approachable, warm, attentive gentleman who exhibited some of the best serving skills I've not seen outside of Canlis. Seriously - he was amazing. He not only repeated our orders but he double checked after the food was served to ensure it was exactly right. He seemed genuinely committed to making our dining experience excellent. The food was amazing. I ordered the smash burger and it was soooo good. Juicy, flavorful, cheesy burger deliciousity. My friend ordered the bacon smash but only one patty and we both commented the burger to bun ratio was perfect. It was a little messy but nothing the napkin couldn't clean. I ordered the cornbread with honey butter upgrading from the fries. In no way did that make sense to me in the moment but I am a sucker for great cornbread. I gotta say - not sure if I can go back. The cornbread was so good! Soft, sweet, spongy - it was like having dessert. I tried not to eat the whole thing. I failed. I drank a margarita - our bartender server made amazing drinks. I highly recommend!

Yelp
We went here for Monday Night Trivia - Geeks Who Drink. I believe it was the inaugural event. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the screens working so it was a bit of a struggle to share one phone with 5 people to participate. Hopefully they'll get it together by next week because the quiz overall was fun and interesting. While the bar has a sports motif, it was kind of lost on me not being a huge sports fan. But I could definitely see bringing a group of friends for a Sunday game. Very comfortable seating in many formats, booths, tables, high tops. Looks like they have some open mic nights. I will check that out. Happy hour drinks were reasonably priced and the wait staff was great. Nice and friendly and very helpful. We were there early so not sure what it's like when it gets really busy. The food: it's bar food. I wouldn't go here strictly for the dining. It's an overall experience. I got the deviled eggs, the crab cakes and the hush puppies (I like appies for dinner). The eggs were delicious. The crab cakes were good, not great, but good. The hush puppies...well I sent those back because fried balls of cornmeal (BIG ONES) are not hush puppies. Don't waste your calories on those. The Legion Little Ribs and cornbread are decent and my friends enjoyed the Cajun Pasta. I'll go back for trivia night and try more food because I'm sure some dishes are better than others.

Yelp
Had a reservation for a large group of folks for a celebratory dinner and without a call or text from the restaurant to say they canceled our reservation our party showed up in full only to find out that the restaurant decided to host a private party for the Seahawks (OTA's ended early). It would have been nice for the management to call so we could change our venue since this reservation was made in person. Oh, and the restaurant manager and Seahawks representative were not very nice about it. That's some bad mojo for the Seahawks going into the next season.

Yelp
Lovely weekday happy hour to check out with girlfriends. A nice selection of foods and drinks for affordable prices. Service was great: attentive but also gave us the space we needed. We got there around 4 and there were only a few other patrons. We walked past Earls and STK and a few other places that were packed at this time. It's off the main road making it harder to see and I'm assuming, overlooked by people just walking around looking for a place to grab food. Absolutely get the honey butter cornbread. It's delicious. We polished off two orders.

Yelp
I went just after work, and the place was dead dead except for a few tables. But the server saw me, came over -- I knew what I wanted (the jambalaya) and service was quick. The jambalaya rice was outstanding, but I wasn't sure if the shrimp was a little off. Otherwise decent food and reasonable.

Yelp
Awesome spot! Went for brunch. The corn cake (it's like a fancy pancake with cornbread mixed in) were incredible!!! Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Finally had time to check Legion out! Service is impeccable. Each and every staff member that walked our table if we needed anything through out the time we waited for our meal! The presentation on our food is amazing! Very appealing and pleasant! Taste is amazing! Has the PERFECT amount of spice that can appeal to everyone! Our first time here and also just happened to be Soulful Wednesday that they showcase once a month. Live band! Such a vibe! I looove it here! I was honestly having a rough day, I'm leaving here with a HAPPY SOUL! P.S. the crumbled cornbread crust on the red beans and rice is a creative touch! Love it! (STK COULD NEVER LOL)

Yelp
My friend has always wanted to check out a sports bar within the US and see how their style and culture is like. He suggested this Sports bar since it had better food and the such, so of course, knowing me I booked the reservation. When we arrived, it was a "seat yourself" type of thing so I was like ok... and then realized that the venue was barely full. Got it. I did though enjoy the atmosphere and the ambient of the vibe. They literally played Arianna Grande all night and by all means that's a slay for me, give me alcohol and I'll be hanging out at the place all night. Their drink menu is extremely extensive, and a little bit too much for my taste, but I did order some non-alcoholic drink for the night. I order some lavender drink, I totally forgot what it was called but it was delicious and pretty. It was a Lavender Lemon type of drink. The waitress was nice and she told us that they ran out grits, collard greens and some other menu item, but still they had the plantains which were important for me and my friends. We ordered the Jambalaya, and the Gumbo. Wow, they both were EXTREMELY delicious! I have never had a gumbo or a jambalaya before. It was something new to me, so might as well. And yes, because I am Canadian, I don't have access to these types of foods. And me and my friends ordered a bunch of plantains for the table. I did enjoy the place, and that they can take a lot of friends and large parties. And that they do offer free parking in the area. It's just a bit pricey for the food and the stuff they offer, other than that, it's a decent restaurant.

Yelp
We came for brunch and left with a friend! Alika at The Legion Restaurant was absolutely fantastic -- from the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcomed and completely taken care of. Her energy, attentiveness, and genuine kindness turned a great meal into a perfect experience. The food was amazing, but Alika is what made it unforgettable. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Finally was able to try out Legion and and OMGosh!!! This place is a perfect sports bar! Watched a few Monday night NFL games! We tried three items off the menu and ALL were phenomenal! Our server Francisco was perfect! Didn't see Sherm or Kam to thank but I'm sure they will be there next visit!!

Yelp
Came here for my friends birthday. She had reservations so all 12 of us fit into several tables together in a section of our own. We ordered several appetizers and drinks and shared the various plates. The good: the cauliflower, the steak bites, and the wings were amazing! The cornbread was delicious and came with honey glazed in it so it was similar to a dessert! I know I'll be thinking about those steak bites later on as they were mouthwatering good! Grits were tasty too! I'd taken a sip from my drink before the photo and I love how they poured and delivered drinks to the rim! Service was excellent as our server was amazing: he attended to everyone's various needs as we weren't all on the same timeline, as drinks and appetizers arrived at different times as people ordered all the time where drinks and food was flowing constantly. He also knew our separate dishes & orders when it came to the bill! He was excellent! The restaurant adds gratuities to parties over 6 people. The music was good and the decor was sports-good as a couple of Seahawks owns this bar. For our birthday girl they gave her sparklers-in-a-sundae and singing which made her day extra special! Restrooms were clean! The bad: location is slightly trickier to find, if you are used to using Apple Maps, as this is on the outside of Lincoln Plaza, across from Bell-Square Mall, but down an alleyway not on the main streets. The cost is ridiculously pricy for what you get. Example: wings as an appetizer is $22 and you get 5 or so with dip, a couple of carrots and couple of celery sticks. Drinks are Seattle-priced $16. It's good, but for the venue it seems ridiculously high. The cornbread was priced reasonably at $5, so why were wings $22, were they organic chickens? The Mac & Cheese seemed on the extra-bland side, as I'd thought it would've been perfect for toddlers or children's menu. Overall, great experience and fun event with delicious food and drinks!

Yelp
Amazing, so flavorful! The catfish nuggets are my absolute favorite. This is the place to visit for southern cuisine on the Eastside! I thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails as well. My friends brought me here for my 36th birthday dinner and I loved the kick back vibe. Great food, efficient service and really delicious cocktails. I will be back. One note for improvement is the deviled eggs. With how delicious everything else was I am sure it was an off night. They didn't really taste like anything. But everything was so good I can't even call that a complaint.

Yelp
Decided to try Legion for a date night last Saturday. Our first impression after walking in was sad hotel lobby bar vibes. It was dead for a Saturday night and the atmosphere was honestly depressing. Unfortunately, our experience did not get any better once we were seated. After I initially ordered our drinks, our server came back after a few minutes and asked me again what drinks we ordered. Same thing happened when we ordered our appetizer - the Garlic Ginger wings. From my understanding they were a limited time special menu item. The server came back a few minutes after we ordered them asking to clarify which wings we ordered saying that he couldn't find them in the system. This was the last time the server came to our table to interact with us. After we finished the wings (which were actually good, btw) we waited about 20 minutes for our server to come back to our table, as we wanted to order entrees. During this time I watched (we could see behind the bar from our table) as he made drink after drink for this table of women that had come in. He was paying them plenty of attention and chatting them up as he delivered the drinks to their table, neglecting his other customers in the process. It appeared that he was the only server actually taking orders, while also making drinks at the bar. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed that night, I don't know. After 20 minutes with no contact from the server, we decided to get the check and leave even though we hadn't ordered entrees. After I approached the bar and asked our server directly for the check, about 10 minutes passed without our check, so I went and asked again, pretty annoyed at this point. All that to say, absolutely abysmal service and I do not recommend Legion at all.
google avatar

Cheryl G.

Yelp
First of all, on line it said to reserve a table. So we did. But the time we get to Legion, there's no one at the front to greet you. We were confused about how to get our table. After walking around looking for someone to help us, one of the bartenders sat us down in one of the smallest tables that had a"reserved" sign. But when we looked around there was about 3 booths occupied with 1 person. There was 4 people in our reservation, they could at least offered us a table large enough to accommodate 4 people. The food was okay. Gumbo was salty. But we loved the jerk chicken pasta. If you're a drinker, I suggest ordering "Grave Digger" it's a Smokey taste to it, delicious!

Yelp
Perfect place to pull up to and watch your favorite game on a Sunday with good food! I also have been here for the lounge portion and events , and it is spacious with plenty of seating. Staff are always friendly and prompt. Def would suggest checking it out . Try the gumbo and collard greens if you like a little spice

Yelp
First time in . I was impressed with the decor and ambiance. Love how the bar is sectioned off so if you want to be social, you can. I ordered more than I thought and had a great attentive server Hailey. She gave recommendations and was very personable. I went for brunch and had cornbread buttermilk pancakes and a side of bacon. She suggested getting bacon inside but they were filling enough. I stayed for the game so I had the wings jerk honey w a lavender drink called Sittin pretty. It was good and priced right. She made sure my water was refilled and I got some beignets to go I loved how the powder was on the side for me to add. The only thing that was missing was napkins in the bag which was odd. I'll definitely be back because I liked how the place wasn't as obnoxious and the crowd was diverse. The prices were what I expected from an upscale place but the taste matched.
google avatar

Marcie S.

Yelp
Made reservations here to have dinner before Snowflake Lane and had no expectations of what to expect, but I am so glad we came in! It was loud, yes, but also kid friendly and somehow still intimate. The staff was super friendly and helpful with their recommendations. I'm just going to say it - I felt like a kid again and I loved it! I had an order of the deviled eggs with a side of Mac and cheese, and my cocktail surprised me and came in a giant "caprisun" type pouch. It was amazing. My kids smashed on their buttered noodles and my mom had the shrimp pasta (she recommends I try it next time). My husband said his burger hit the spot. The only complaint came from my husband, who said, and I quote, he's "a little disappointed in the size of the TVs for a bar owned by Richard Sherman and Kam". But to me (and everyone else not paying attention to Thursday night football) this wasn't actually a big deal lol. We'll definitely be back again!
google avatar

Yelp
Walking in, the hostess was very nice. We were there when it opened for lunch so it wasn't filled with sports fans yet. The food was so good! With the guidance of our waitress we picked some great flavors. The greens...yum with a kick! The catfish was really nice as was the rest of my soul plate. My sister had the salad and she really enjoyed it. The ambience was warm and it was very clean. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
New sports bar on the eastside right across from the Westin hotel. I wanted to love this place because we don't have anything like it on the eastside: jerk chicken, corn bread, collard greens, REAL SOUL FOOD. But this place is a bit different. The prices are insanely inflated for what it is- taste wise. The Mac n cheese lacked flavor- salt and more seasoning needed. The fried chicken sando was - crispy and flavorful but a bit small. The sweet potato fries were super crispy, not sweet at all though. The drinks were the show stoppers but a drink is ~$18 so they add up quick! If they had HH, I could get by it. I do still wanna come back to try their jerk chicken & corn bread. Staff are friendly and helpful w/ drink suggestions, kudos!
google avatar

Yelp
Great disappointment. We were concerned walking in when we saw the "Please seat yourself" sign in the front at the hostess stand. Once we walked into the main restaurant we saw no service staff so we sat at the bar. It took 12 minutes for the bartender to come around and talk with us. The restaurant was only half full. My fiancée has celiac and, when we were told that it was still brunch, noticed inconsistencies in the allergy labeling on the menu. When we asked the bartender, she simply said that they are not good with accommodating food allergies... so we left without ordering anything.

Yelp
Came here on a date night for the featured live music. First impression is Las Vegas or LA vibes especially with the amount of security roaming. I'll be honest they didn't put me at ease it actually made me feel like I needed to be aware of my surroundings felt like I couldn't really relax. They were always walking around so it kept my head on a swivel. Hostess and servers were great! and helped us get seats closer to the music after we were seated farther away, they also got us our drinks super fast. Genuinely love the service here everyone's so nice. After deciding to sit at the bar we ordered the Pork Chop first (Allow 40mins to cook) along with a Deviled Eggs, Collard Greens and Collard Greens. The Deviled Eggs were really tasty! Collard greens were ok, Cat Fish Bites were delicious' and the Pork Chop was ok. Good music, menu lacked that small bites bar feel and atmosphere was lively but loud had to yell to speak, security constantly roaming made it feel sketchy?

Yelp
Will this BOOM or BUST? I am a 12 like any respectable Seattleite. But I gotta be real, if this restaurant were a team it is playing at the lower 1/3 of the league. I'll start with the good. The service was good. The hostess and waitresses were all attentive, attractive, and very sweet. The food came out promptly. Ambience was what would be expected of a higher end sports bar. Dimly lit, dark furniture, and TVs everywhere. However, IMHO, it was relatively uninspiring and felt like a stuffy cigar old boys bar. Those with light enduced seizures, beware. The multitude of consecutively placed screens (playing different games) was a bit overwhelming. There were plenty of available tables on a Tuesday night. We came for the Happy Hour, only to find out that it was limited to a chardonnay, red blend, and the FAAFO (like a whiskey sour but with other juices and sweeteners). The food was limited to mac and cheese, sweet potatoe fries with garlic aioli, collard greens, cornbread, deviled eggs with shrimp. I'm not sure how much of it was original recipes, but it was all ok and seemed premade. The sweet potato waffle fries with aioli were tasty. We also had the kale caeser salad which was not at all a caeser, other than maybe in dressing. The sweet cornbread crumbles did not do it for me when my palate was expecting it to taste more like a caeser. They need to change the name. The Mac and cheese was good but maybe a little more salty than i care for and the prices were definitely high, even with HH pricing. My group really wanted to be big fans, but sadly it was a bust...Sorry Richard and Kam.

Yelp
The southern cuisine was as good as you are going to get anywhere. collard greens, sweet potato's, plantains, fried chicken/waffles, fries, red beans, the CORN bread, all fire! Nice ambiance and TVs, service (Juan) was great. Highly, highly recommend. Last, but not least Kam Chancellor was at the restaurant and was super cool, ask if we liked the food and chatted us up and took a photo.

Yelp
This was my first time here and I will for sure come back. The bartender was cool and attentive. He made sure he checked on me and the drinks hit. It's a sports bar atmosphere so it's perfect to stop in and catch a game

Yelp
A group of friends and I came here over the weekend to watch the basketball game and grab some food and drinks! It was my first time at Legion. We ordered margarita flights and I ordered the free agent cocktail. The margarita flight came with 5 different flavors - they were good but not worth $40 in my opinion. You also have to have 2 people minimum to share a flight. The free agent cocktail was delicious! Perfectly sweet, fruity, and refreshing. For food, I ordered the jambalaya. It was flavorful and tasty but not necessarily worth $22 in my opinion. The service was very slow. Our server was nice, but it took him awhile to come to us to take our order throughout the night. We got there at 6pm and didn't leave until after 9pm. Love the ambiance here! Love how it's more of an upscale sports bar - definitely a great place to watch a game. There's also a DJ that plays once it gets later! I'd definitely come back here! It is on the pricier side but pretty much expected when you're in Bellevue.

Yelp
Due to an Xfinity internet outage on Sunday morning, we were forced to watch Football elsewhere so we decided on Legion Bar for their brunch menu. The place was quiet on this Sunday morning at 10 when the games began. We both ordered the Eggs Benedict (Ham)... aka traditional. There are other offerings of the "Legion Benedict" as well. They were outstanding. Served with seasoned country potatoes, the Eggs Benedict served up an actual slice of baked ham. This was not canadian bacon, or some shaved deli meat. This was an actual baked ham. It was smokey and salty. The hollandaise went beyond the standard by adding a little spice to the mix. Not too spicy but just enough peppery savory to elevate the dish. I will return for more brunch outings.

Yelp
Went there for a quick lunch, midweek. Delish food, Gumbo and Beignants, sexy sporty interiors! Server was on point and really attentive, he pushed experience to get that 5 stars! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Such a fun new restaurant/bar! I'd attended a private event once and wanted to come back to fully experience the restaurant so I visited with a friend on a Saturday night around 10pm looking for drinks and appetizers. We didn't realize there was a UFC event happening that night but there was a fun crowd assembled to watch and the hostess advised the quickest service would come from the bar, so that's where we settled though there were a few tables open. The bartender quickly greeted us warmly and passed over a menu folder that turned out to just be several QR codes to be scanned. I prefer that to touching a paper menu, so that worked for me. I started with a yummy mocktail called "Sittin Pretty" which was delicious and I love when mocktails are served in proper cocktail glasses. For food, I tried the Southern Fried Catfish Nuggets (well seasoned and battered- so good! Ask for their house hot sauce too, trust me), baked Mac & cheese with truffle oil (the truffle oil really went well with the seasoning of the Mac & cheese and would've have it any other way-- delicious), soul deviled eggs (standard deviled eggs, honestly, nothing to write home about and kinda weird that there's 3 to an order, I'm used to an even number for some reason), and southern buttermilk cornbread with honey butter (this was the star! You must try it). Portion sizes (other than the deviled eggs) were quite significant and shareable and felt like a good value. After the sporting event was over, they played good hip-hop/r&b music until closing time around midnight. I will say the website says they have a late night happy hour but doesn't specify which days-- the bartender advised it's Sunday to Thursday. Not a problem for me but just something to note. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
NEW SPORTS BAR LETS GOOOOO We were hyped to eat here because of how upscale it is. Didn't really know what I was getting myself into and was pleasantly surprised with the selection of soul food and the amount of media coverage with their opening. I made a reservation for 5 a couple days before for a regular table (there's an option for high or regular) but put in the notes that I wanted the best table for photos for Instagram and food and was put in a small table because we had 4 not 5 come Music was LOUUUUUD. I am talking you can't really hold a conversation with the person next to you unless you're all up in their grill. Servers have to come real close to hear you. Lighting is pretty dark. Lots of people for Friday night at 7pm especially families so that's cool. The food came out super slow. We got it at around 8:40pm and we got there at 7pm. I was super hungry. We didn't order apps because we just wanted the food and go to our next thing but had we known it would be close to 2 hours we would've ordered some. We did get the plantains and those were yummy. If you get the pork chops they let you know it comes out slow so they gave us the option to have all food out staggered or at the same time but we said staggered. They forgot to bring it out and then all our food was pretty cold and we ordered the shrimp toast but you could tell it was just reheated so it didn't taste good. Crawfish pasta was good but I thought I'd be able to taste the cornbread more. It could be because of the food getting cold that maybe it got soggy? Pork chops were crispy and yum but juxtaposed with the cold grits underneath didn't taste that great and I didn't want to send the food back because I'd be there another hour. Not about that. Alrighty so it is still their first few weeks so I'll give them that because I am sure it's stressful Friday night. Fast forward to the dessert. They knew what they were doing with the rum cake. One of the best desserts in Bellevue. It has pop rocks and that was really pleasant. The sauuuce is yum. The bread pudding was really good too but the RUM CAKE So the fried plantains and rum cake really pulled thru. Next time I want to try the fried chicken and book a booth. But man the wait really knocked down some stars

Yelp
I gave it another chance and it was great. Tasty food and attentive service. They are in a terrible location, on the parking area if a dying mall. Need aggressive marketing efforts but food and service good.

Yelp
Large space , decent menu. Bellevue prices for food and drinks so beware of that. Park below in the parking lot for Lincoln square. They have HH at night too!

Yelp
Had to check out Legion after hearing so much about it. This is a soft opening so gonna cut em some slack. Over all great vibey spot, with great service and decent food. Was cool to see Kam Chancellor there interacting with guests. Ambiance: 4/5 looks like a great upscale spot to watch the game. Imagine Joeys and twin peaks had a love child and Legion is it. Nice vibey lounge with a ton of tv's to watch the Seahawks! Only comment is, in the left side dining area, there are a row of 2 tops along a wall that just shouldn't be there. We were originally sat here and then asked to move. Nobody wants to sit there, gives the feeling of being stuck in the table nobody wants next to the bathrooms and cut off from the rest of restaurant. Should just get rid of them. Also whoever is in charge of music there, should be in charge of music at every lounge. Throwback 90's r&b all night, vibes were immaculate. Service: 5/5 hostesses greeted us right away, we were sat immediately. The servers and even the people bussing our tables were all super friendly. Our server in particular was great on walking us through the menu and making recommendations. The manager even stopped by to check on is. The service is top tier Food: 3/5 hate to do it but the food was hit or miss, then again, this is the soft opening so that they can improve and fix what they need to. When I hear "elevated soul food" I think of Communion, one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. And at the price point, I had high expectations. Shrimp toasts had great flavor, just the bread to shrimp ratio is off, needs more shrimp (or less bread), but the sauce was a saving grace, i wanna dip everything in it. Chopped cheese was just ok, soggy fries. Jerk chicken was really good but one of the chicken pieces was extremely dry compared to the other one. Drinks were also hit or miss, big fan of the f.a.a.f.o tho.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour on a Thursday (happy hour is from 3pm - 6pm Monday thru Friday). We walked right in and sat ourselves - there was plenty of seating available. We weren't very hungry so we just ordered some sweet potato waffle fries to munch on and an old fashioned and a Moscow mule. The fries were very crispy and tasty. The drinks were also good and generous. The servers were attentive and came around multiple times throughout our time there to see if we needed anything else.

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed considering all the hype. My family and I went there for dinner so I don't know if they're better known for their late night parties? I absolutely love the Seahawks and I really really wanted to love this place and was excited to eat here but sadly, everything was mediocre. The food was ok, it wasn't bad but nothing really stood out. Our favorite was probably the Cajun pasta and we got to try something new (I forgot what they called it but they looked like liver meatballs) There were 6 of us but we were seated at a small booth that would've been comfortable for 4 people. The chair upholstery looked old too. Service was good. Some parts of the place were pretty cool. They had a Legion wall and cool posters of athletes at the entrance. They also had a replica of the Lombardi trophy.

Yelp
Great food, setting, atmosphere & service. Love this place and will be back. And you can watch the game from anywhere in this place.

Yelp
One of the coolest sports bars I have been to in a long time! Great location right across from the Westin in downtown Bellevue. Me and my team went here for a lunch meeting. Had aps & lunch. Apps were the gilled cauliflower, chicken wings and catfish nuggets! ALL WERE AWESOME! The nuggets were moist, tons of flavor, chicken wings were flash fried with just the right amount of seasoning, cauliflower was great, with just a small amount of spice to it! I had the smash burger....SO GOOD! Beef was seasoned great, good sear, and I paired it with the garlic fries! NOW FOR THE COOL PART. We are sitting there laughing having a good time, then RICHARD SHERMAN & CLIFF AVRIL walk in! Being a huge Seahawks fan I was geeking out but my inner voice said "Andrea don't just run over there, be cool, they are just people"...so I left them alone! I wanted to scream HEY SHERM...but that would have probably gotten me thrown out! My fiancé is such a huge Seahawks fan, he will completely lose it when I tell him about this!! GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere and vibe for sports games and the olympics. The appetizers were super good, love their garlic parm fries and their chicken wings.

Yelp
This was my second time here with friends. There are TVs everywhere. We came to watch the Seahawks game. The dry rub lemon pepper chicken wings with homemade herbacious ranch were to die for. The food is very expensive, as are the cocktails. The beer selection is fantastic, but the wine selection is minimal. We brought our own wine and paid a $35 corkage fee.

Yelp
It's a bit of a confusing walk from park to restaurant entrance but the ambiance is nice! We sat across from the bar on Friday night and it wasn't packed but it had a nice crowd. The DJ was not the best, his mixes didn't flow, but the actual songs were good music. We had the bartender as our server and they recommended the choose 3 soul food meal and it did not disappoint. The fried chicken was VERY well seasoned, moist, and juicy. All of the food was delicious and the cornbread was perfectly Crusted on the top. The Mocktail really had the full flavor of lavender and it was delicious! I'd go again
