The 28 Essential Prague Restaurants

"There still isn’t much intermingling between plant-based and omnivore dishes on the average restaurant menu in Prague, but the city does have a surprising amount of vegetarian and vegan restaurants. Clear Head is undeniably at the top of the heap. The long-standing (mostly) vegan restaurant offers up a quirky, starlit sky aesthetic along with a robust menu. Patrons can choose from a something-for-everyone menu that includes meat-free burgers, quesadillas, “tartare,” and even a version of Czechia’s national dish, svíčková (traditionally made with roast beef, vegetables, gravy, bread dumplings, savory whipped cream, and cranberries)." - Dan Clapson

"Clear Your Mind at this Vegetarian Restaurant Lehka Hlava, which means“clear head,” has been a mainstay on the steadily growing vegetarian scene in Prague since 2005 and features an interior that can be only described as magical. One room is painted deep blue with stars. Another is purple with a lizard painted on the wall and has tabletops of colored glass. Along with freshly made juices, they servelemonades, non-alcoholic cocktails, and samurai shots of Asian teas, as well as wine, beer, and cider. Themenus change regularly andincorporate seasonal ingredients and produce."

I’m a vegetarian from India and getting vegetarian/ vegan food is a challenge when we travel abroad. The place is no doubt very good. The staff is warm and welcoming and the food was equally good. The steward recommended for fake meat which was good. The beverages and the nachos were good too. Overall a good experience and a convenience for people like us in cities like Prague where getting vegetarian food is a big challenge.

Google
This was such a great place — I visited twice in a row and both times were fantastic! The food was consistently delicious, the staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was just great. It quickly became one of my favorite spots. Highly recommended!

Google
The place is soooo pretty, it has a nice starry night painted ceiling, it really makes you feel amazed. The general sensation is warmth :) The location is great as its practically the middle of Prague. The waiters and the waitress were both super nice, the food was brought very fast. The food was good, I would love to see the Svickova made with seitan (but thats just a suggestion 😁 as I love it). This restaurant has been recommended to me many times by my friends, and now I can recommend it too. Have a nice day!

Google
Really had a great time eating here. We shared a platter and there was ample food for 2. The lemonades were lovely too. Try the raspberry one- it was made with lots of real raspberry and was so nice. The burrito wrap was a bit hard but fillings and dips were nice. Recommend.

Google
Delicious food, portions are generous with most dishes. Atmosphere is unique but I really liked it. Service was excellent, as I had started to expect in Prague. Everywhere I went the staff were great.

Google
Incredible food and atmosphere! Everything we had was good. Even the meat eaters in our party enjoyed their food. The restaurant is so creatively decorated, I've never seen anything like it. Highly recommend.

Google
Very good food and service. The furnishings is not really my style, but that's just personal taste. Soup was a bit cold sadly and portions also smaller. Nonetheless it tasted great

Yelp
This restaurant was a welcome reprieve as a vegetarian who has been traveling. Usually, it's difficult to find a quality vegetarian restaurant in other countries. I ordered the avocado tartar, which was really good! I recommend it with the bread so that sort of like avocado toast. I also had the broccoli steak, which had a really good mushroom taste to go with it. The drinks are also very good. I had the green juice which was amazing.

Yelp
Visited for lunch without a reservation and was able to be seated quickly. Restaurant has a quiet and cozy feel. It is very colorful and gives guests the vibe that one is sitting outside under the stars having a nice dinner. I also loved the background music (chill vibes) of the restaurant. Waitress was fantastic. The bao bun burger was really good! Bbq sauce and mustard type sauce over tofu with vegetables in a pillow soft bun was the perfect combination! For desert I had the vegan snickers which was close enough to the real thing, especially once the caramel was poured over it! Wow! I really enjoyed it especially since I haven't had a snickers since becoming a vegan. The lemonade was fantastic! I loved that it was sweet enough to balance the carbonated soda mixed with it but not overly powerful and fresh with no syrupy taste. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Prague and I hope to visit again.

Yelp
It's a vibe! The space twists and turns through caverns and into space. Spiritually themed art sets the tone for deep dive into a world of flavor. If you don't come with a clear mind you'll certainly leave with one. Don't miss it! Plant based paradise.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for ambiance, and this place certainly has it. Upon entering, we were led to a room with a giant orb lamp on the ceiling spilling with plants, and moody yet warm lighting. On our way out I noticed a cool private room centered around the fish tank- maybe call ahead to see if that's available! Our waiter was very warm and friendly, quick to offer suggestions and smile with approval as we ordered. We started by sharing a rosemary potato gratin. This wasn't bad, but it wasn't mindblowing either- a bit on the dry side. My partner was originally thinking about getting a main entree that used these potatoes as a base, and was glad he picked something else after we tried it. He wound up settling on a spaghetti and veggie meatballs dish, which he said was good but not great. I got the pick of the night- kimchi pancakes, a fusion of Korean cuisine and traditional Czech potato pancakes. They were phenomenal, and I would definitely recommend. We also got some drinks and desserts, which were solid. Most of the other diners in our room were couples on dates and were pretty calm, although there was one pretentious hippie lady talking smarmily nearby while we dined. Overall, this was a very pleasant meal, and a good price point. Fantastic atmosphere, superb staff, and solid food, though some options will knock your socks off more than others!

Yelp
I loved the ambiance -- the decorations are super interesting and we actually got a room to ourselves for dinner. The mock duck was pretty good and the vegan snickers had a very satisfying snap. Service was great and our food was out quick. Will definitely return. This is a 100% vegetarian restaurant.

Yelp
I did not anticipate that the best food I would have during my trip to Prague would be at a vegetarian restaurant, especially considering I am not a vegetarian!!! I had the chimney which is a delicious concoction of goat cheese, spinach, coconut milk and potato, with a balsamic reduction and other wonderful flavors. Beautifully presented and simply delicious! We also tried the green curry and it was equally delish. The decoration of the restaurant is whimsical and the service was very attentive. I really loved this place. It's not on a main road so if you are not looking for it you probably won't stumble on it. The only reason why we went there is because we went with locals who are regulars. Super highly recommended.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food here! I had the bulgur risotto. It's supposed to come with tempeh, but they ran out and offered me tofu as a replacement. I accepted and I'm glad I did. The tofu replacement had a sausage-like texture and was well-seasoned. I would request this the tofu on future visits because it really made the dish so tasty.

Yelp
If you're a vegetarian traveling through Prague (or living there), this needs to be on your list of places to go. EVERYTHING on its menu is amazing and it is a welcome reprieve from all of the touristy options that are also in this area. Here is what you need to know: 1. This is some of the best vegetarian and vegan fare out there. Seriously. 2. GET THE TOFOIE GRAS. As a total meat eater, this made me think I could give up the meaty version. It's incredible and smoky. 3. There is a wait and limited seating so try to get a reservation. 4. There are a selection of incredible and healthy cocktails - both hot and cold. 5. The vibe is quiet and quaint so you have the chance to really catch up with a friend. 6. There's a sister restaurant across Prague 1! Highly recommend this spot if you're in Prague. Whether you are a vegetarian or not, this place is absolutely worth the time!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Similar to their other restaurant, Maitrea. The vibe here is very chill and the atmosphere is cool. The Maitrea burger was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My meat eater friend loved it as well. Service was nice, food got their kinda slow but it was a Saturday so I don't blame them. Highly recommend

Yelp
Excellent food & fantastic service.. our server was awesome. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
Amazing vegetarian food, gorgeous interior, and hefty portions. Highly recommend! My partner and I had a long day walking around the river area, and this was the perfect spot to end the day. Reservations recommended.

Yelp
GREAT vegetarian/vegan joint!! Their daily lunch deals are KILLER! With it came french onion soup and the dish of the day, which I swapped with the dish of the week which was a beyond burger with avocado, beets, and a tartar sauce! YUMMY!

Yelp
Came here with my friend for our last dinner in Prague a few weeks ago. The place was pretty busy when we got there, but since it was just the 2 of us, we were able to squeeze into a bar-type seating area. The restaurant is very whimsical and mystical looking, with lots of celestial themed imagery throughout the entire seating area. After perusing the menu, I decided to get their Czech seitan roasts, while my friend got their risotto. I also decided to get an Asian Dub Passion non-alcoholic cocktail, while my friend opted for a glass of wine. Our food came out pretty quickly after we had ordered, and while the seitan roasts were pretty good, I thought it was a little too sweet. My friend, however, loved her risotto. I thought my Asian Dub Passion was amazing, and overall, we had a very nice experience in this restaurant. I do wish they had more vegetarian takes on Czech dishes, but I was glad that there was at least one on their menu. A solid choice, if you happen to be vegetarian, in Prague.

Yelp
A cosy intimate restaurant, super food and terrific servers. Very relaxed atmosphere - maybe a idea to make a reservation as it's not a large restaurant - that said , we were seated every time.

Yelp
We ordered the share plates for the Appetizer and main. We probably only needed one- Tons of food. The spreads were delish. The burger and taco also very tasty.

Yelp
I will be coming here for my 5th, 10th, and 40th year anniversary dinner with my partner, this place is that special to us. The food never ceases to amaze me, a non-vegan, and I tend to get lost in that starry sky above. Utterly romantic place with supremely good food (good for your tastebuds and good for health). Cheers to you, clearhead. May you stay our restaurant for many years.

Yelp
They only take cash which I rarely have. They are pricy but the apple strudel was really good.
google avatar

Yelp
Over-hyped mediocre vegetarian restaurant with less than friendly service and shady charges on bill for tap water ($1USD per glass). Nothing we ordered was particularly bad - just bland to adequate. You're better off walking a block to Golden Tikka (an Indian restaurant) if you're in the area. Vegetarian/vegan restaurants like to position themselves as being more than just a business - as doing better for the world. I'm not sure how that sits with turning a basic human necessity like water (people usually enjoy with every meal) into an overpriced capitalist commodity. My guess is - it doesn't.

Yelp
One of my biggest worries about traveling to Praque was being able to find vegetarian food. While researching, this was the first restaurant to pop up. And now I know why. The food was DELICIOUS. We didn't make reservations and luckily were able to get a table. However, I recommend making reservations. What we realized about Prague and a lot of other European cities is that if the restaurant is full, they tell the walk ins that they're closed. They don't give a wait time. So you literally have to walk in at the right time to be able to get a table. When we told some of our friends we were going to Prague, they immediately recommended this restaurant and they aren't even vegetarian. We were kind of sketched out while walking here because it's down an alley and it was at nighttime. So if you feel like you might have taken a wrong turn, don't worry.

Yelp
Great vegan/vegetarian spot. If you can, see if you can be seated in the starry room. The ceiling is super cute. We made reservations but depending on the time, you'd be okay just walking in. We got the hummus to start and split the Big Clear Head, its a meal for 2. Both were delicious! This spot is right around the corner from Hemingway Bar. Pop over and check them out afterwards for a great specialty cocktail.

Yelp
It's an excellent vegetarian (and perhaps one of the very few to be fully so in the lend of roasted pig legs and sausages). We ended up there with a group of friends to please our vegetarian friend & we were not disappointed. Eclectic decoration, friendly staff, nice selection of meals and drinks, including non-alcoholic juice mixes. The service was a tad slow and this place absolutely needs a reservation every evening of the week because it gets completely full each night, but that's about the only complaints we had. So - amazing place, can but recommend!

Yelp
Lehká Hlava (Clear Head) was recommended to us by fellow vegetarian friends who had recently visited Prague, and ended up being our first stop for food - we were not disappointed! The restaurant itself is small and cozy, and we did see a few people waiting for their tables. The wait staff is extremely nice, and helped answer any questions we had about the menu. Everything is super reasonably priced, too! We were surprised at how much we got for just shy of $45 USD. The food was pretty amazing. We were surprised at the variety of dishes (tacos, burgers, but also gratin and Thai curry). We shared two appetizers, and two mains, and were pretty full. My favorite was the red lentil soup, because it was super hearty and full of seasoned vegetables - I highly recommend it, but with the rice on the side. The tofu "foi gras" was interesting: not bad tasting but not super yummy. We were also really hungry when that dish was served, so devoured it fairly quickly. The quesadilla was extremely cheesy, but isn't that how a quesadilla should be? :) I left feeling pretty full, which is always a nice feeling when trying a new place. I would definitely recommend Lehká Hlava to any vegetarians or vegans looking for a healthy and hearty meal.

Yelp
This restaurant is a must when in Prague! They had many delicious vegan options. All ingredients tasted very fresh and we will absolutely go back! The restaurant atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. In the pictures: Dish 1: Noodles of batatas salad with gently spicy zucchini falafels, fresh vegetable, coriander, avocado and smooth cashew dressing. Dish 2: Grilled goat cheese with walnuts, served on potatoes au gratin and spinach leaves in coconut milk with garlic, basil pesto and balsamic reduction. Dish 3: Thai green curry with tofu and vegetables, served with jasmine rice.

Lily A.

Yelp
Cute place, nice atmosphere & decor. Nice healthy menu items. I do wish it was a little more vegan friendly. There were a good handful of vegan items, but most were only vegetarian. Nice for a 1-time stop however. :)

Yelp
It's so refreshing to see a vegetarian restaurant amidst all the beer and meat in Prague. I didn't have a reservation and was dining alone so I sat at a little table outside the main concourse. I'm not vegan anymore but I still enjoy exploring raw cuisine. I first had the hummus and spread appetizer which wasn't amazing but definitely satisfies a craving for something cleansing. I loved the cucumber pasta. It had a good balance with the pesto and it wasn't too overpowering or raw-tasting. One of the best raw meals I've ever had! The raw cheesecake was a little rough in the texture but it was still good! Definitely try it if you're looking for a healthy option in Prague!

Yelp
I read about this place on here, thanks Yelpers you did not disappoint. What excellent food!!! Okay so I went around 4:45p thinking I won't need a reservation. MAKE A RESERVATION. The hostess/waitress let me sit as long as I didn't kind being out before my tables first reservation at 6p. No problem for me, I had ballet tickets anyway. Super nice of her to try and accommodate me and even with that I never once felt like rushed. I had a glass of sparkling water. Water is always more expensive than beer/wine I swear. I then had the hummus to start, and it was Devine! For a main I had the seitan gyro plate. I wish I could eat it everyday, it was so good. Who would know it was all vegetarian. DELICIOUS! Looking around the place was filling up bit the staff were so nice and friendly, never rushed and never rude. The guy at the table next to me ordered a burger not realizing it was a vegetarian place. He ate the whole thing then looked at his date and said sorry you couldn't eat any it was so good but it was meat. Haha. Apparently even he couldn't tell. Their flavors are great and veggie or not I wish I found this place sooner, wo I could go back and try everything on the menu. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
A vegetarian restaurant that puts the vegetarian palaces of the US to shame. Blows away any vegetarian restaurant in Austin, Texas. Better than any place I have eaten in Berkeley, California. Who wudda thunk that the country of fried cheese, roast duck and pig's knees would have the ultimate vegetarian restaurant supreme? This is an intimate place in the old city, south of the tourist district. It is magnificently painted in a fantastic dark red mix of paisley, native American, and art deco. It's small - maybe nine tables. My guess from looking at the clothes and the customers - that the other tables all contained young female poets, eating with their graduate student boyfriends. We started with soup - me with a garlic vegetable consomme, love of the life with red lentil and coconut milk. Her soup was not the standard yadda yadda thai-style vegetable soup that Americans get on coconut milk night. It was edgier, less sweet, not spicy but with a demanding/fascinating taste that came non-trivial flavor mixing. My soup was a simple all out industrial strength garlic play. Prague a city of romance? Not after this soup, baby. But at least I didn't have to worry about the bats flying over the National Theatre. My main dish - four appetizers on bread - returned to the "hard-to-put-a-finger-on-it" complex original flavors that come out of the Lehka Hlava. Both the menu and the staff tend to be coy about saying what the flavor blends are. I tried to channel my inner Craig Claiborne and Sherlock Holmes to decode the ingredients the four wonderful bowls I had in front of me. I never solved the mystery - but my mouth was in heaven trying to crack the puzzle. My wife was frustrated with happiness. She finally found a place with lots and lots of wonderful options for vegan desserts. (She almost never gets dessert and she likes dessert.) But my wife ordered the sweet potato noodle salad with zucchini falafel, avocado, fresh vegetables and cashew dressing. (Not as spectacular as my four dish extravaganza, but nice enough.) She was so full when she finished her salad, she couldn't have pushed a molecule of dessert down her throat with a crowbar. Her leaving the restaurant without getting her raw vegan chocolate cake with lime topping and hempseeds was the saddest moment in our visit to Prague. How much do I like this place? Thumbs up! Toes up! Bellybutton up! Everything up! I wanna go back!

Yelp
It is a awesome vegetarian place, they have vegan options. Great vibe. Burger was awesome. Waiter and waitress was nice. They offer English menu. Very close to Charles bridge. After dinner we walked by the water.

Yelp
We loved the Clear Head combo platter for 2 (which costs 525 Kč; one of its pieces was the the best vegetarian sausage I've ever had, and now I want to try to find its equivalent back in the United States! The decor was cool; I loved that the ceiling had tiny holes lit in it like stars. Check the photos! The hostess and server were friendly and spoke English. Visa and MasterCard work only if the numbers are embossed (raised), and gratuity can only be cash. Water costs 20 Kč per glass.

Miraj S.

Yelp
We found this beautiful restaurant near Charles bridge. We ordered pitta n humus along with side of bread. After which we ordered quesadillas. Everything was delicious, freshly prepared and substations were made for our dietary restrictions. Good family restaurant. Good for Jains.
google avatar

Yelp
Simply delicious! The service, atmosphere, presentation, flavor, value... all on point!
google avatar

Marine G.

Yelp
Hopefully I was able to find this restaurant ! When it comes to not eating meat in Prague, others don't really have options. I felt very welcome there and I had a wonderful quesadilla with fresh ingredients, delicious guacamole and salsa. I also ordered homemade lemonade which was a bit too sweet but it was still good. The restaurant design is really cute and authentic, I really loved it. I highly recommend it if you're vegetarian like me or maybe tired of eating meat in sauce.

Michelle P.

Yelp
Considering I still crave the potatoes au gratin 4 years later, this is a must visit for vegetarians and anyone who wants to explore this beautiful part of Prague. My walk to Lehká hlava was probably one of the best parts of the restaurant. The meals are pricey for Prague, so try to come here when it's a special event or if you're just passing through Prague and want an experience. There is a line to get in, many times. I've been here 3 times so far. I have always wanted to try their "breathatarian" meal, but considering it was pretty expensive, I couldn't bring myself to it. There are great vibes here. The waiters are fast. Potatoes. Get the potatoes.
google avatar

Lasse W.

Yelp
This is by far the best restaurant I've visited while in Prague. We had the Tofoiegras (tofu foie gras) for a starter and OMG it is freaky delicious! To die for. This is a cozy joint with all vegeterian food, which pleases me greatly. I had the Thai curry, and my girlfriend had the cheese burger. We recommend both!
google avatar

Carlos E.

Yelp
Wonderful surprise. A Zen-full ambiance and beautiful decor, with great, healthy and delicious variety of food. I tried the Cantonese Tofu and Crispy Vegetables and loved it. Try the Refreshing drinks like the Lavender lemonade or the Thai ginger lemonade. Service is friendly and kind. Good location, short 5 minuets walk from Charles bridge. Make sure to make reservations, we went on a Monday night an although the waitress was kind enough to accommodate us , the place was sold completely booked and many people without reservations where turned away.
google avatar

Bob F.

Yelp
Great vegetarian dishes. We had the lentil and cauliflower soups and both were delicious. I had the veggie risotto. Both the lentil soup and risotto had a great medley of both flavors and textures that kept me very engaged during the meal. My wife and I have one more night in Prague and we have already decided to come back tomorrow night. This place has around 8-10 tables and is very popular. Reservations are a very good idea.
google avatar

Calin D.

Yelp
Vegan & Vegetarian food at it's absolute best! Make Reservations Now! Trust me, it's worth it. What can I say? I wish Chicago had a Lehká hlava! The place is a hidden gem down a little alley, so be sure to double-check your location! Once you find it, even if you don't have reservations, give it a try! The wonderful staff will try to get you a table if one is available. Also, this was one of the only restaurants in Prague to give me... wait for it... WATER in a Carafe! Yep, you read that right - cold water, lots of it, with a glass. The sample plate for appetizers was great! Do you know how difficult it is to find decent avocado guacamole in Prague? It's difficult my friends! And this one was almost as good as the hummus, baba ganoush, and... tofu pate' that was honestly my favorite. (Though I truly dislike the meat variety of pate' and foie gras for ethical reasons, the guilt-free version here is amazing.) After a few rounds of wine, (lots of choices there), and two baskets of the amazing brown bread that arrived for dipping, I had the grilled veggie skewers - wow, just, wow. I was so full when I left I actually looked forward to the walk back to the hotel! If I go back to Prague, this place is first on my list!
google avatar

Hannah P.

Yelp
This place. It's just...so good. Prague has some of the best vegan and vegetarian food I've ever had. And this is at the top of the list. Every dish is creative, complex, with wonderfully contrasting flavors. Whoever is in charge of the menus is truly masterful. Daily set menus are always worth trying, but a few of the classics are worth trying. The Maitrea Burger...better than anything at Maitrea (their sister restaurant). And the traditional Czech dishes are phenomenal. Very heavy, but that's the norm. Big serving sizes, cute decor, and decent prices. Very popular so book in advance if you're coming during high traffic.

Caroline V.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Every meal we ordered came fast and were absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend trying their Tofoie Gras! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The decor is also very cozy.

Yelp
This is THE place to go for veggie and vegan food in central prague. We were so lucky to get a table at 8pm on a Saturday, and the two larger groups in front of us had a long wait, so make sure you book if there's more than two! The restaurant itself is cozy, with a nicely lit interior from this cool mushroom lamps on the tables. The ceiling is painted in aboriginal Australian style, which was really refreshing and looked incredible. Food wise, it was hands down the best food I've had in Prague. I had the burger which was so so so good, and the fresh bread bun was also such a good touch. My partner had the meatball spaghetti and also sang it's praises for days afterwards. We didn't try desert, but I will definitely be revisiting if I'm back in Prague.

Yelp
Lehká hlava is a beautiful and captivating must visit. If your looking for an atmospheric wonder and some of the most flavorful and realist tasting fake meat on the market this is your spot. Each room is uniquely decorated in a wistful and dreamlike environment. I recommend the group starter and group meal that offers a wide array of different options in one dish so you get a broader array of tastes. As a vegetarian that does not like the taste of meat, the fake meat was not my forte as it was too realistic. However, there are vegetarians who would enjoy the replacement and I am certain that non-vegetarians wouldn't even notice that they were not eating meat! Overall, it was a great experience. The service was a bit slow and slightly forgetful, which put a damper on what otherwise would have been a completely ideal dinner. Regardless, I high recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Interesting menu, great food & ambiance. We loved the lamps on the table. The restaurant has a great vibe.

Yelp
Wow! I am a dedicated carnivore, or at least omnivore but Lehká hlava (rough English translation is Clear Head),a vegetarian restaurant in Prague, is one of the best restaurants (combination of taste and value) I have ever visited, anywhere or anytime. Really! We came for lunch after a morning at Prague's Communist Museum, also a must see. The 15 minute walk skirted the tourist craziness of Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square and helped our party of five, including two dedicated pescatarians/vegetarians work up a big appetite. We started with the "Little Clear Head," an appetizer sampler including hummus, feta cream, sun-dried tomato and peanut pesto, green olives and a small salad. We also ordered a small guacamole dip. The dips were all super fresh and accompanied by wonderful Czech bread for dipping. It was a auspicious beginning. For entrees, two of our party ordered beet root burgers, one ordered veggie kabobs, one had a ratatouille special and the last had a toasted goat cheese salad. All were outstanding! The beet root burger was simply the best veggie burger I've ever had, huge, crispy and fresh with a nice side salad. ( While I ate the whole burger, my daughter said it was easily large enough to share.). The grilled goat cheese was delicious ; the salad greens were good but not distinguished. The ratatouille was delicious and just the right size. The veggie kabob was roasted to perfection, particularly the tofu, and came with a delicious barbecue sauce. It also came with potatoes au gratin, that rivaled many of the restaurants we visited in France in the first leg of our trip. For drinks, I had a crisp Czech Pinot Gris, a daughter had a Pilsner, and we had one ginger lemonade and one carrot-ginger-apple juice. Being Americans, we asked for ice for the lemonade and juice and they were great cold. The price for all this was 1380 KC, less than $70.00!!!! From a quality perspective, Clear Head rivals Greens in SF at food truck prices. A meal here is definitely deserving of deviating from the beaten path on any visit to Prague!

Yelp
For a no veggie person I have eaten a lot of veggie food recently. Anyway, lehka hlava was a highly rated restaurant on yelp so I wanted to try it. Not very easy to find. It is located in a narrow street but with a good gps in your mobile you will eventually get there. The place is small and cozy and the decoration is super cute. The waitress gave us a table by the window and it was good to seat just beside the heater. I really took my time to study their menu because I have never tried many of the dishes they serve anywhere. I went to the veggie burritos. Sincerely I wasn't expecting much from it but it was surprisingly good. It comes with a big portion of (unnecessary) rice and a big salad. My friend went to humus + plus some bread and it was OK. For drinks we had the cactus beer (yeah, cactus, from mexico btw) and I had the grape soda that tasted like Tesco lemonada haha. No desert because I ate too much rice.

Yelp
We loved this place! My boyfriend and I have been conscious of not eating much so much recently, and this would be vegetarian heaven! After trying out Czech cuisine which is just mostly meat and potatoes, we were looking for something less heavy. The food here was great- who says vegetarian food can't be yummy? This restaurant definitely proves that stereotype wrong. We ordered two macaccino drinks, artichoke dip with bread (can be replaced with gluten-free chips), a beetroot burger, cucumber spaghetti, and two "cheesecakes." This all came out to be around $30USD. One thing that really disappointed me was the inconsistency of their cheesecakes. My slice was obviously a lot harder and grainier while my boyfriend's was more creamy and tastier. But I love the restaurant's desire to promote less meat consumption and it's creative menu.

Yelp
Well, do not come here if you are ultimate steak lover and cannot be satisfied without proper beef steak. If you are, however, open to experiences or if you are vegetarian, this place is going to surprise you in a really nice way. It is not that famous and easy to find but once you find it, it feels like finding a hidden gem. The ambiance is super relaxed and friendly, you immediately feel the homy atmosphere and the positive vibes. I am not vegetarian myself but whenever I come here I truly enjoy the food and all my guests who are dedicated meat lovers have appreciated this place as well, which I consider a great compliment. If I can recommend, definitely start with their hummus or ideally the combo platter. Both are great to share in the middle. I really like their curry and their veggie burger is also outstanding. But from what I can say you cannot really go wrong with any of their meals. I can highly recommend this place to all vegetarians who want to introduce the vegetarian cuisine to meat lovers as this place really knows how to make the vegetarian meals taste great even to carnivores :)...and the prices are more than affordable!

Yelp
I'm not a vegetarian and I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The food was fantastic! We shared the hummus appetizer. The hummus was chunky enough to know you were eating the real deal and not what you get at the store. The fresh garlic taste was quite nice without being too much. For my entree, I chose the combo platter that had quesadillas, kabobs and salad. The kabobs were especially good. For dessert, I tried the heavenly hot chocolate. I'm still thinking about that! Mmmmm

Yelp
This place is hard to find!! The streets don't cross over so be sure you walk past the Hemingway bar and then make a right. It's was also closed for a staff meeting when we tried to go. We had to come back and then there was a lot of reservations. We were able to get a table for a certain amount of time. I was happy to finally be getting a vegetarian meal since, Eastern Europe is definitely more meat and potatoes. The atmosphere reminded me of the 60's hippie dippie vibe. We sat in the room where the sky was painted and there was twinkling stars. We ordered one red lentil soup and the soup of the day. They were both super flavorful. And then we shared the veggie kabobs with potatoes, salad and a bbq sauce!! Everything I tried made me want to come back and go through the menu. It is no surprise it has become such a hit in Prague!

Yelp
Good service, and great healthy food! Tried the raw cucumber spaghetti with pesto and was amazing. Price was good, and staff was friendly. The place is medium to small size, but it was not full when I came in though you might need to wait. Had soup of the day as well, pumpkin with pumpkin seeds delicious. Highly recommend for single or couples since tables are small and the place might not fit a group larger than four to five people. Update: on the way out I saw a huge table for a big group of 10 people so disregard that part :-/
