The Best Things To Eat At Citizens Bank Park

"Locations: Leinenkugel Bar (section 141), Liberty Landing (section 143), Goose Island Bar 3rd base gate for beer; Cocktail “beer” bats are available at sections 112, 204 & 323 Only a few things in life make you feel powerful just by holding them: Excalibur, Thor’s Hammer, and the beer bat at Citizens Bank Park. And since only one of those is real (or so we think), we suggest grabbing this ridiculous collectible the next time you're at the ballpark. The towering mug flows with 24 oz of beer (we recommend Leinenkugel's Juicy Peach) and will run you around $25 (and an extra $10 if you want the home plate stand, which you do, because how else will you display it in your living room?). Yes, it’s absurdly expensive, but it’s completely worth it for a souvenir that feels as special as a Phillies' victory." - alison kessler, candis mclean

Been to the holiday pop up bar twice and enjoyed it. The first time was great—the decor was on point and there’s Chrismapolitan drink was phenom. Five stars. The second time was 3 stars. My friend ordered a mocktail and I ordered the same drink. They gave me the mocktail and her the alcoholic drink when they returned. I only knew because I had the drink before. Thank goodness because she would’ve drank it if I didn’t know. Then, I ordered a burger without cheese and with avocado. They brought it with cheese and no avocado :/. Anyway, I might go there again but I hope the experience is more like the first. I added a pic of me for fun because they had cute aesthetic backgrounds in the corner.

Very friendly staff. Great outdoor patio, and they welcome dogs. Beer menu was diverse, but the menu had only one Leinies on the day I was there.

Google
Drag Brunch was amazing and a must for everyone. Great drinks, amazing food and even better entertainment. The host Sorority Heights is phenomenal accompanied by Kara Edge and Iyana Deschennel today (who were not only gorgeous but engaging and spectacular). Don’t skip out on a great time and come every Sunday for drag brunch!! And to add to the amazement bartenders like friendly Mitch, hostess Ann and other supporting staff 10 out of 10 recommend!!

While visiting friends in Baltimore hubby and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat for lunch. I ordered the Asian chicken salad with ginger dressing and it was quite good. The chicken was grilled and The Asian crunchy noodles added a good flavor to it. My hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and he enjoyed it. I’ve read reviews where people have said it’s quite noisy here but we were there early around 1230 and it was quiet which was fine with us. I would return again for that salad!

Google
The restaurant bar is so adorable! They have indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor portion has garage style door/window and can be pulled up and have the best of both indoor and outdoor vibes. They have a decent amount of beer on tap. Appetitizers were good too. Pretzel was a but hard but the dip was very good!

Google
Was unable to handle a large party when they were essentially empty. Kitchen was clearly in a different building as the server had to walk outside to get food and food was cold by the time it arrived to the table. The soda gun was broken and the servers had to crack open cans of soda and they were out of flavors needed to meet the needs of customers the servers were awesome but the restaurant lacks infrastructure to meet the needs of guests.

Holloween is definitely the perfect time for Midnight Munchies 🤟🤤 and Drunchies 🎭 Located in Powerplant Live, after rocking the Moshpit at FrightFest 🦹‍♂️🦹‍♀️ is the perfect place to get just that! With a library of local beers and great fresh food it's definitely a higher level then standard Bar food, and you can never beat Maryland Crab 🦀🤟🤤

Went there for Charm City Trivia, great trivia, servers were very nice. Our orders were messed up and the food was nothing to remark on, very bland.

Yelp
Leinie Lodge & Beer Garden is like a green house, but if that green house grew beer lovers. It is a really cool spot, and there is inside seating and a whole large section of covered outside seating. In the other section there is a projection TV, huge. In the glass house I was in there are four or so TVs. This would be a cool Sunday football spot. There is local craft beer here in abundance. They had enough beer offerings for almost anyone's pallet. Also have wine, spirits and Seltzer. I came on a drissly, cold Friday afternoon. There were a few other patrons, but the place was slow for business. Better for me, because I pretty much had a server all to myself for the majority of my visit. I had two local beers, a Belgian and a dark ale. Both were very good. Also ordered wings plain with the sauce on the side. I am really glad I did, because the wings were slightly breaded and more crispy without being sauced. There was no blue cheese so I had ranch (sad). The veggies were carrots and celery which were surprisingly fresh. The weird thing is the wings were all drums, no flats. I will definitely be coming back. I really like this place. Would be a really cool spot to hang out in the summer.

Yelp
Very confident the happy hour "quesadilla" led to food poisoning. Cannot recommend. Went with two friends and all our orange crushes were warm

Sam K.

Yelp
Modern outdoor beer garden in a nice area right off the inner harbor. Could be fun with a big group of people.

Yelp
Located among the Power Plant Live! places. This was a convenient stop for us as we were walking around. The inside was cool and relaxing. All of the inside table seating is benches or stools. The bar has stools with backs. Service was ok. She took a long time bring us water after we asked. Food took longer than we expected to come out. The kitchen is separate from the actual location so not sure how big it is or how far the walk is. Food was ok. I got the fish tacos which were enough for me. The fish was not super flavorful but I liked the toppings and sauce. My boyfriend got the chicken jalapeno sandwich. It was not very good. The chicken was burnt here and there and there was not enough sauce for the dryness of the chicken and the bread. We each got a drink - 1 beer and 1 cider. Standard stuff, nothing amazing.

Yelp
I came here for their Miracle Christmas Pop Up, so the whole place is decorated with a super fun holiday vibe! They have a special menu for this pop up, with fun drinks like hot buttered rum, mulled wine, and a variety of christmas cocktails. They also have a little food menu, but we ended up not getting any food. The one thing that I found off putting was that we came in during early afternoon, and the place was pretty empty, but the waitress made a point to tell us every time she came up that there was a 90 minute seating limit. I understand when it's busy they need to enforce it, but to be so strict when the place was mostly empty was quite odd.

Walt H.

Yelp
Let's start with service!. Horrible. There appears to be only 2 staff on the floor including the bar tender which also had to deal with outside customers. Food was cold and subpar. It was such a let down. Please do better

Yelp
On the plus side, the location of Leinie lodge is super convenient if you're in the inner harbor area and are in search of a cold craft beer, and the space itself has a fun, relaxing vibe. We were there for the Thursday trivia night and had a great time playing. The beer selection is solid -- plenty of great craft brews to choose from. The service and food are the reasons for the low review. It took around 30 minutes for our chips & queso to come out, and when they did the queso was barely warm and the chips were a little stale. Overall, the service was pretty lackluster. It felt like the staff wanted to be anywhere but there. I'd come back for more trivia or for a cold beer but wouldn't choose it for a meal.

Yelp
Perhaps carry the brand of beer that is marked everywhere in the beer garden. Super hot day... Summer Shandy would have been perfect yesterday. 0% on tap or in bottles for any of their beers. (Staff was nice though)
google avatar

Mel B.

Yelp
2 stars and that's only because the location is a lot of fun. Service was unbearably slow. There weren't any NA drinks (no soda, lemonade, etc). We wanted to order food, but after standing at the bar for 20 minutes to do so, we decided to move on to somewhere else.

Yelp
Amazing experience. Highly reccomended during the holiday season....details to follow.

Yelp
Just when I finally finish writing up one trip from the summer I have to start into another one. Consider this a belated beginning to a few reviews from back in late July which starts on a decent page with Baltimore's Leinie Lodge. This was our first stop on a weekend bachelor party adventure for lunch and drinks. Now you can tell from the three stars above that this wasn't anything amazing, but if the Yelp gods gave us half stars I'd probably say they deserve an extra piece (3.5) because the ambiance and the staff were spot on. The "Lodge" had a great vibe to it with a glass window ceiling making it feel like a greenhouse (just one filled with beer). Long tables and little games spread about added into a biergarten pulse for the place. Our waitress was friendly, took our orders quickly, and kept our glasses full. I will note we were here on an early Friday afternoon with basically nobody else in the place so one would hope she'd be tentative. Moving on from those positive aspects takes us into the glorious and mixed land of beer. There were plenty of things on tap along with a few local Baltimore and Maryland brews which is always a nice sign, even if a few were unavailable. The not-so-nice sign was the lack of any ability to get a flight and/or sample a variety of Leinenkugel beers (hence the name of the place). These weren't big negatives (especially because we hit up a brewery not too long after lunch), but it's still worth noting. An even bigger note would be the food. This isn't the best note or a note that should even be written (if we're keeping with the note analogy) as my Jalapeño avocado chicken sandwich was nothing to write home about. The avocado was relatively soft (which you want) and the bacon was somewhat crispy, though the grilled chicken had a slight rubbery texture upon each bite. Bad chicken can be a big turnoff and can ruin the entirety of what you're eating. I wouldn't say this was a complete miss, but it came close. The fries were a sufficient side to tie it all together. Overall, Leinie Lodge is a fine spot for a beer and to hang for a bit. They have a great space and a formidable beer menu (just be careful about what they actually offer). I'd return if I found myself in the Power Plant Live area of the Inner Harbor again, but I'd probably skip the food this time and just go for a drink. Better Baltimore reviews are on the way!

Yelp
Great idea for a beer garden design and location. We sat in the enclosed area. Bar tenders/servers were attentive. We got the pretzel and crab dip. Crab dip was good but a little oily and seemed like there should be more for $20. The pretzel was large but a bit stale. We decided not to stay for more food after that. I was Saturday around 1-1:30 pm, and they were blasting the tv/college football game at a rather obnoxious volume. Would not come back.

Weh H.

Yelp
Very slow service and all food was cold when we received it. I didn't expect a gourmet meal at a beer garden but I don't think having your food served hot is too much to ask. Had to send it back.

Payton P.

Yelp
The food was amazing I had tried their Buffalo Wings and Tenders. I am very picky but it was very good the Wings could have been hotter so they wouldn't get cold fast but they were good and the Tenders were perfect. The service was very amazing server was funny and fast. There was a baseball game going on which was the Orioles vs Brewers and the Orioles won. It was pretty quiet in the restaurant.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch after visiting Port Discovery with the kiddies. They participate in a Kids eat for free if you visit Port Discovery so that was great. We got the burger with side of fries. It was delicious! It was juicy with a tasty aioli dressing. I'll definitely recommend. Kids had chicken fingers and fries. Portion was ok, came with 2 fingers , handful of fries and honey mustard. Also, our server was great. Only downside was they had no to-go containers for my other half of my burger. Other than that, it was great.

Yelp
So, at the Leinie Lodge & Beer Garden , where all the taps used to be Leinie's now, not a single tap is Leinie's, and they only have two Leinie's in bottles. Seriously, WTF??!!!?? Let's cater to the idiots who don't know or appreciate Leinie's at a Leinie's Lodge and serve them crap beer. Will definitely never be back.

George B.

Yelp
Lack of food on menu and bartenders that are completely closed off to talking with customers. Beer options good
google avatar

Jordan B.

Yelp
This was a pretty cool beer garden located at the Power Plant Live entertainment venue. There were a variety of beers as well as a selection of bar food. Since it is located in the Power Plant, there is plenty of parking in the surrounding garages/decks. Also accessible via Uber or taxi. Lots of entertainment venues around so a really nice option to hang out at.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Food is fine. What you'd expect at a bar focused spot. We arrived around 1 to a pretty empty restaurant. It took an hour to get our food despite ordering the kids corndog within minutes of sitting down. One entree was completely cold, and one kid's meal did not arrive with the rest.

Yelp
Leinenkugel is my favorite beer so imagine my excitement to find a Leinenkugel Beer Garden near the Inner Harbor in Baltimore! And yes, they have several other beer besides Leinenkugel, but I'm not sure why you would want anything else LOL! The ceiling is glass so even inside you feel outside. There was an outside area also with a lovely brick fireplace for those chilly days. We tried the fried pickles which were slightly different than other places I have eaten. They were more oblong than round. The flavor was great! Our bartender was so nice and offered great conversation! We stopped by on our way home one more time to use our Yelp check in deal of a free pint of beer. Stop by and see them for a fun time! When you come up from the Shot Tower metro stop they are on the right in Power Plant Live.

Yelp
During a day trip to Baltimore's harbor, we decided to end our trip with snacks and drinks at Leinenkugel's Beer Garden located within Power Plant Live. There was plenty of seating both outside and inside which was nice. The service was scattered, but friendly over all. The food and drinks were priced reasonably, but ask about any specials. When I was here they were running a $5 mimosa sampler. I had the crab dip, which was delicious.

Joshua T.

Yelp
Stopped here before a concert at the Soundstage. Beer was good and food was good, but nothing super fancy. Service was a tad slow for the place being half empty. Did enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Recommend for a quick bite to eat and beer if your catching a show in the area.

James G.

Yelp
Service was Terrible!!! A group of us had ane down on Sunday. We were planning to stay and spend money here. We stand at the bar for a good 10 minutes as we see the 2 bartenders at the other end talking to each other and not making any drinks. After 10 mins. the male bartender comes down to us, acknowledges us and that we need drinks, poors himself a coke, as says he will be back. He then goes back to the other end of the bar and goes back to talking to the other Bartender. we wait for another 5 mins and then proceed to Exit. Worst Bartender ever. Do not go here.
google avatar

Janine T.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, good service. Crab dip: a MUST. It's expensive at $13, but it's one of my favorites in town. The dip and bread are both seasoned with old bay. The bread was perfectly toasted, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dip was creamy, cheesy, flavorful. We probably could have stopped eating after this, because it was very filling. Bacon 3 way burger: not particularly special. It had bacon aioli, but couldn't really taste it because of the ratio of mayo. We were actually searching for a different aioli burger on the menu, but I think that the menu may have changed. Chicken bacon ranch flatbread: really salty, but otherwise good. It was more about the bread than the chicken and bacon, because there was less chicken than expected. My partner was disappointed but I liked it.
google avatar

Eve M.

Yelp
Decent enough food and once we got the attention of a server, (took about 10 minutes) we didn't wait long after placing our order until it was at the table. To be fair, we went on a fairly busy night but being told to seat ourselves and then watching several servers walk right past us multiple times without checking in was a little frustrating.
google avatar

Carlos C.

Yelp
My colleagues found this place and I met them there! I love Leinenkugel beer, so it was thrilling to have a Summer Shandy and try their Sunset Wheat beer. I had their Chili Cheese Tots which were very delicious. What makes the place is the experience. Long bench tables with bench seating, larger tables with regular chairs make this a very group friendly place. Not to mention outdoor seating and plenty of table games (jenga, connect 4, etc.) to play while you and your friends sip on some brews. A great spot for groups for sure. Bartender here was very friendly and attentive too. Would have wanted to try more of their beers for sure! Maybe next time!
google avatar

Paulina C.

Yelp
Had to wait for Port Discovery so decided to try this place out. First, no one is there to greet. Walked up to bar to get a beer and sat down. Wanted to order food but waitress ignore me the whole time. I waved and called several times to get her attention and finally she came. She said since I ordered my beer on the counter, I need to order my food there too. Talk about customer service. Didn't want to walk up so decided not to order.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
I don't know how this place operates during peak hours but during off peak hours (early afternoon) there is definitely a B or even a C team working. This place was so unorganized. The staff working was more worried about playing grab ass then attending to their customers. Very dirty and unkept. Not recommending this place to anyone.
google avatar

Leslie B.

Yelp
A great place to go to even if it's raining. I was looking for an outdoor place to eat, but it was gonna rain. It looks as if you were eating out but you're not. I guess it's great for people that hate bugs too. It looks like you are in a big greenhouse. So it's very bright in there. The chili tater tots were so damn GOOD! I gotta have those again. They have connect four, Pictionary and other tables games. That was so much fun. I can't remember her name but the bartender/waitress was by herself (looked like she was) and she was awesome, she didn't skip a beat. She def knows what she's doing and knew how to utilize her time.
google avatar

Kendoll C.

Yelp
An excellent beer garden. Spacious seating with many room options, games on each table floating around. Nice happy hour 4-7pm, extended on Wednesdays, with options for cheap beer from $3-6-then fancy beers are available too. They also have a pint, mug, das boot, and stein option so you can really get your drink on. We went for Bingo and Barrels night. It was fairly empty, so bar was a short wait, food came quickly. For bar food they are yummy- the nachos are massive with ample toppings, the flatbread pesto has too much pesto, the burger is juicy with fresh fries, and the pork quesadilla is stuffed!! Staff are super nice, like old friends. The Bingo MC is pretty funny, he made it entertaining. Worth becoming a regular (if you can get over difficult parking)

Brendan J.

Yelp
Beer options r meh. Need more Baltimore/DC options. Service is also meh. Waitresses seem to be more interested in chatting than taking care of patrons. I will say the nachos r excellent.

Michael P.

Yelp
BAD SERVICE! FORGOTTEN drink orders SLOW FOOD SERVICE! Does it t matter what the food is like when you fail the first 3? Don't bother.
google avatar

Bryan E.

Yelp
The Beer Garden left a lot to be desired for me. When my friends and I got there we stood by the entrance next to where a hostess would come and greet you. This is common practice at least one would think. But not at Leinenkugels! After watching a couple people come up from behind us and walk right in I stopped one of them and they told me it's open seating. I was a little annoyed because it was our first time there and there was no signage to let patrons know what the seating situation was. Next the wait staff wasn't assigned to any particular table we had to flag someone down as they were walking past. After all this nonsense we finally ordered our food. The good thing about this place is while you wait for your food the beer garden provided board games. I'm talking bout sorry, connect four, jenga and BATTLESHIP! This made me forget about the earlier miscommunications. I kept it simple and just ordered the wings which were amazing and nice sized by the way. I got honey hot and thai chili. The honey hot tasted more like buffalo so I was a little disappointed with that but the thai chili was to die for. All things considered I'll be back now that I know how the place operates.

Maria J.

Yelp
Milly was amazing! She's very funny and accommodating. Her beer recommendations were fabulous! She's very knowledgeable about the menu. If you don't like beer, she knows a beer that may change your mind. If you come here definitely ask for her!! Even though we came in when it was busy, she still made us feel important and took good care of us. Food was good, drinks were fabulous, will be coming back for happy hour during the week!
google avatar

Rebekah T.

Yelp
If you haven't yet tried Leinkugel's Summer Shandy or Sunset Wheat, you should go out and buy yourself a six pack. When given the opportunity to try the rest of them, you need to head on over to the Beer Garden. My guy and I love to try new beers, we travel to new places and make it part of our trip. The best thing about visiting a brewery is getting to try each and every type of beer they offer. We ordered up two samplers, minus the ones we already had. The Berry Weiss was another great light summery beer that I would love for them to bottle. All of the beers were between 4-5%APV except for the Leinenkugel's Big Eddy Snow Drift, that sucker is a Vanilla Porter at 9.5%APV. If you have already tried Leinenkugel, you have to come here. And if you haven't tried Leinenkugel, you REALLY need to go.
google avatar

Kameron J.

Yelp
Arrived here with 3 friends for a bite to eat. Was blatantly ignored by a server, had to harass another server to bring us drinks and take over our table. After an hour of waiting most of the tables around us had been seated after us and were already eating. We asked about our food and got an excuse about sharing the kitchen with Luckie's. Another server said she'd go get the manager but never showed. Finally our food and appetizer comes out 30 minutes later and fries were cold. What a waste of 2 hours for sub par service and mediocre food.
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
You walk in and it is bright and clean and a nice temperature. Cool thing they have all sorts of games right on the tables for you to play. Jess was our server and she was great. She even helped us tie break or cards against humanity game. My Wife ordered the Chicken Caeser Salad Wrap. I ordered the classic cheeseburger. The Wrap was literally a caeser salad in a wrap, croutons and all. The cheeseburger was tasty. The fries were perfect. We enjoyed our meal.

Yelp
This is a very unique place in Baltimore. There are rarely any other beer gardens in the city! This is one of my favorite laid back places in the city because I love Leinenkugel beer and the the food options are just right. I usually get a buffalo chicken wrap, but have also gotten the crab dip. They're both above your average bar food. Both the indoor and outdoor sections have games you can play if you're in the mood. The patio offers a table next to a fireplace also. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable meal and some great brewskies!

Priya B.

Yelp
Millie was amazing and is so accommodating with our large party! 10/10 recommend this place!

Christine P.

Yelp
Bartenders tonight were so rude. Waited to order a drink for 10-15 minutes politely at the bar. No acknowledgment that they see me. Continued to take orders from people that came to the bar after me. Bathrooms were disgusting that are outside the restaurant. No toilet paper and not clean. Go to Luckie's it just as busy and the bartenders take your order in 5 minutes. They have clean bathrooms and a better playlist.
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
I have stopped here two or three times over the last couple years, and it is a cool little place. Not very crowded....but still feels intimate. This outside bar is located as you walk to the POWER PLANT. I love sitting outside, enjoying a cold beverage, and people watching. Food is tasty, but nothing fancy....and the staff is nice. They have specials on both food and drink.....Welcome to Baltimore! (does not matter if you live here, or are visiting)
google avatar

Sha T.

Yelp
Good idea but, the pricing is a bit off. I came to Lennie's via the Springbeerfest 2012 event. The event itself was cool but, I was a bit surprised Leinenkugel's did not have some type of food special for the revelers. The beer was delicious. The summer shandy and the Honey Weiss are two of my faves. I ordered the Sonoma snack platter, which is 18 bucks by the way...it comes with a variety of Italian meats and cheeses. Delicious but, not worth the 18 bills that was paid. I did however like the idea of the outdoor band, fire pit and timed hoops game. It pulled me back in to the "beer garden" atmosphere. The decor says beer garden but, some of the prices say gastropub...they may want to fix that.
google avatar

Louise W.

Yelp
While visiting friends in Baltimore hubby and I stopped here for a early lunch. I had a very good Asian chicken salad with ginger dressing. I hear this place gets quite crowded and noisy so we lucked out. No crowds and quiet.
google avatar

Doug B.

Yelp
Great place to hold a happy hour event. Held one there last night and looking to have many more in the future. The staff was very friendly and their food is great as well.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Such a fun little spot. Stopped in here for an afternoon happy hour, ordered some drinks and appetizers. Any 90's kid would appreciate the games they have out on the tables. Our server was super friendly and suggested some great beers for us to try. Nice ambiance and just a short walk from Inner Harbor.

Yasmin G.

Yelp
This place can get busy. The staff deserve patience, especially as most places are short staffed. It's not your servers fault! They are human beings doing their best! Be kind, this place is definitely worth the wait. My server Millie was fantastic, and gave great service. Happy hour is 2for 1 all drinks 4-8 pm during the week. Don't knock it til you try it. Great beer, good atmosphere, give it a chance! Never written a yelp review before, but had to after getting to know the staff here. Kindness goes a long way. Will be coming back
google avatar

Becca H.

Yelp
Came here during the around the world bar crawl on 9.21.18. Cute little bar, friendly staff, epic stein holding contest (which, by the way, I lost lol). Didn't get to try the food, it was our first stop and we weren't hungry. However, I could definitely see myself coming back here!

Adam D.

Yelp
They get real busy at lunch time, and the wait may be a bit longer than usual, but the beers they have here are excellent. Nice atmosphere and the nachos are real good.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Service was stupid slow. We just missed happy hour but decided to dine here because it was close to the Char City Clue Room and it looked like it was popping. They had several board games available and we took advantage of that and played as we awaited our food. Our food came out after an hour of placing it and even when it came out it came out in waves. People were missing things and sides were coming after being asked for several times. The sad thing is that our order was fairly small and wasn't that intense to make. We had two turkey clubs, one chicken tender plate, and a hamburger. The sandwiches don't take much cook time and the chicken tender plate is all fried so come on now. Sadly, the order took so long that once our server gave it to us we had to ask for boxes to go since we didn't want to miss our slot at the Char City Clue Room. Overall, don't come here if you're hungry. They'll starve ya.
