Leilua hall is yet another titan of the Charlotte food scene to come from the Supperland/Haberdish/Andalo folks… the lobster mini tacos were our favorite. The yellowtail crudo was outstanding, and the service was impeccable and extremely sharp. Can’t recommend this place enough, whatever you’re in the mood for! Will definitely be back.

A great date night. We sat at the raw bar, which was fun to watch food being prepped. For appetizers I recommend the tinny tacos. They are a very flavorful bite. We also got the yellow tail hamachi, but preferred the tacos. We split the fish main course and got two sides. We can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes.

The service was brilliant, our servers were attentive, friendly and took time out to thoroughly explain the menu. Brilliant decor and good vibe. For drinks we ordered Pie in the Sky, City Bird and Pisco Chicha Morada all went down very well, all enjoyed it. Yellowtail Sashimi and Fried Avocado tiny tacos were excellent appetizers, the Hawaiian Roles were delicious. Unfortunately, the entrees didn't mwet the standards of the appetizers and drinks. For some reason all the entrees were overly salty and just overall not exceptional at all. The Seabass was OK but with too much salt. The Jerk Duck fell very well short of authentic jerk standards and had to be returned. The Saffron Honey Chicken and Grilled Maine Scallops were decent, but not exceptional. For the sides, we enjoyed the Lemon Rissotto, but the Confit Domino Potato wasn't tasty.

The beauty of this Charlotte restaurant might leave you speechless. Every detail has been so well thought out. It has a very chic art deco interior, making for a gorgeous backdrop to some of the most delicious dishes. The menu is just as well thought out. They’re offering simple staples with robust flavor profiles. The must try dinner dishes are the Yuzu yellowtail crudo, Confit domino potatoes, Bone marrow & shrimp, Masa & cheese and of course the tiny tacos. We had a big group & their team was friendly, attentive & very hands on. It was the best experience!

My partner and I came to Charlotte for a weekend getaway and we were excited to dine at Leluia Hall. We had previously dined at Supperland and loved the atmosphere and service there. We scheduled a reservation for 4:30pm given that we were to attend a show at 7pm Uptown and wanted to take into consideration traffic from the soccer match that was happening at the same time. We were glad that we did that because we didn't leave from our dining experience until 6:30pm. The dining experience was impeccable! From upon entry of Leluia Hall we were greeted by a host at the door to usher us in. Once at the hostess booth, we were then escorted to our table. When we arrived there was one other couple dining, but by the time we left, the restaurant was completely booked. Our waiter asked if we had any allergies and I indicated that I had a shrimp and bleu cheese allergy. The waiter notated this and proceeded to explain the restaurant's concept and menu. We ordered cocktails (Manhattan for him and the 4R Negroni for me, btw, the 4R Negroni was fabulous!) and appetizers (Hawaiian Rolls and the Oysters Oaxacofeller) and were given ample time to just enjoy and take in the scenery. The restaurant still holds some charm from being an old church and the decor was just gorgeous. As we dined on appetizers, we were informed that one of the dishes (the oysters) needed to be remade as there was possible cross contamination with one of my allergies. We waited a little bit for a new appetizer to return and it was well worth the wait! My partner and I ordered dinner shortly afterwards (him - the Sugar Steak Prime Filet and Brussel Sprouts while I dined on the Potato and Roe side to finish eating with my Oysters appetizer). We passed on getting dessert, but were gifted a complimentary slice of cheesecake which we enjoyed when we returned to our hotel room later that evening. Overall, the experience at Leluia Hall was totally worth it and we hope to dine there in the future again!

The cutest place. My drinks were phenomenal. I had the expresso martini and buttered rum. Both were crafted very well. My food was good. Nothing too fancy. We went for brunch. I ordered the lump crab omelette. Nice sized portion. My favorite park of the experience was the decor.

It was good however we didn’t like that several patrons came and went with management (Michael) inquiring about the service and food. But he never noticed once stopped to ask us literally walking around us. Now on the other hand Rhea was great she was attentive and fast. The drinks were great and the food was on point. If you decide to stop by try the bone marrow and shrimp it was amazing . However we probably won’t be beck because of management only.

The food was excellent. The church is divided into multiple levels, and the Art Deco interior made me feel like I walked into a grand dining hall from old times. But it felt overpriced - some dishes were even more expensive than Supperland.

Really good food. Probably one of my favorites in Charlotte. Drinks were good. We had a waygu tartare mini tacos which were small but so flavorful. Yellowtail crudo also delicious. We had the prime ribeye cooked medium rare and the Chilean sea bass with crispy aged rice in the side. The food was all cooked sooo well. The meat and fish were not overly seasoned but so good. The crispy aged rice was spicy but a good balance with the meats. We were so excited, that we forgot to take pictures of this. Guava cake was okay. It was unique but after a couple bites I was over it.

This place has been living rent free in my head since the rumblings of its opening began. Finally popped in for a birthday dinner last night. It did not disappoint! Have you ever had/heard of creamed onions?! You're welcome. The total revamp is splendid, courtesy of the team who brought us Supperland. We also enjoyed the scallops with trumpet mushrooms and lemon risotto. Delicious. You MUST try the Chilean sea bass wrapped in sweet potato. Loved the Hawaiian rolls to start. Everything we had was wonderful, and Brennan was a terrific server!

One of the newest additions to Charlotte's fine dining scene, Leluia Hall serves up delicious entrees, fabulous cocktails and memorable desserts in a wonderful setting that evokes all the best qualities of an upscale Southern restaurant. Like it's sister restaurant, the incomparable Supperland, Leluia is housed in a converted historic church in Dilworth, and you can still imagine the sounds of a Methodist choir echoing though the airy, open dining room. The main level, with its magnificent cocktail bar dominating the space where the pulpit once stood, is a cacophony of sound and activity, but our table in the corner of the mezzanine felt delightfully secluded. The remarkable setting at Leluia is just a prelude to the fantastic food and outstanding service that we enjoyed on a recent visit. The Rum Old Fashioned that our waiter recommended was refreshing and delicious, and the Hawaiian Rolls we ordered for a starter were melt-in-your mouth amazing. We also enjoyed the very tasty Tiny Tacos (the Yellowtail Sashimi and Lobster are both great choices) before diving into our entrees. For dinner, my wife ordered a perfectly cooked 10-ounce Prime Filet with sides of Risotto and Confit Potato, while I tried the incredibly flavorful Jerk Duck, which I enjoyed but found a little too spicy. The very helpful sommelier recommended a delightful Spanish red to pair with the dishes, and we topped off our meal with slices of the wonderfully rich Creamy Cheesecake and the AMAZING Fudge Cake. I was extremely impressed with our entire experience at Leluia Hall and can't wait to go back for another visit. While the menu isn't quite as compelling as the one at Supperland, the steak was as good as any I've had in Charlotte and the cocktails alone are worth the trip. Highly recommended!

Nice first visit. I will have to visit again and try other items in the menu. I was excited for the duck but it was not very flavorful to me. However the tuna crudo is as amazing.

We enjoyed our first visit to Leluia Hall! We're big Supperland, Ever Andalo, etc. fans, so we were excited to come in on our anniversary to celebrate. The positives: - The space is absolutely gorgeous - you can tell how much love they put into restoring this old Charlotte gem - The drinks were excellent - fun that they have a bit of a tiki vibe with those! - The food was also excellent. We shared the bone marrow with shrimp and homemade purple masa tortillas (incredibly flavorful and unique), the picanha sugar-rubbed steak (beautifully seasoned and cooked), the potatoes (definitely crispier than we expected but good) and the creamed onions (the star of the show in my book - the sauce they came in was addictive, and the onions were beautiful). - Dessert was stellar - one of the best basque-style cheesecakes I've ever tasted! The critiques; - Our waiter was not very friendly. The hosts downstairs were wonderful and made us feel very welcome (they even let us explore the wine cellar downstairs!), but it felt our waiter was having a bad night or something - he barely engaged with us and wasn't super attentive. - The air conditioning seemed to stop halfway through our meal, which wouldn't have been as noticeable if we had been downstairs, but it got pretty warm up in the mezzanine (granted, we did come on one of the hottest days of the year, but we didn't expect to be warm indoors). - The mezzanine in general - it was a cool space, but the vibe and excitement seemed to be on the main level. All in all, we would definitely come back and give Leluia Hall another shot (I really want to try one of the seafood entrees!). It often takes a few months to work the kinks out, and the food was extremely memorable!

The restaurant group behind Supperland has done it again with their new restaurant Leluia Hall. I've been three times now and it's one of my new favorite restaurants! I've tried a lot of the dishes and have really liked a majority of them -- fresh and savory flavors with toasty tropical nods! Very friendly service as well. Appetizers: - Hawaiian Rolls with toasted coconut butter - Sea Bass Ceviche with acidified pineapple juice, tomato, sweet potato, plantain chips - Fried Coconut Shrimp with coconut-jalapeño ranch - Yuzu Yellowtail Crudo with piquillo pepper, fresh coconut, coconut milk, citrus, and ginger - Shrimp Aguachile with lime, avocado, red onion, cucumber, and house tortilla chips (The fish sticks, rice dish, and potato pancakes don't have enough flavor/ flavor falls flat and I've tried them multiple visits) Entrees: - Pan-seared Black Cod with trumpet mushrooms, sunchoke puree, star anise, and tamari beurre blanc - Chilean Sea Bass wrapped in sweet potato with avocado chimichurri, brown butter, and lemon (highly recommend) - Saffron Honey Chicken with beurre blanc and chili crisp (highly recommend) Sides: - Masa & Cheese dumplings with cotija cheese, roasted corn, and popped corn - Vegetable Saute with pickled mushrooms and seasonal vegetables in coconut aminos - Potato & Roe Pancake The cocktails are fantastic! And wine director Michael Klinger has created an exceptional wine menu and beverage director Colleen Hughes' cocktail menu does not disappoint. The restaurant is two floors with two bars, and a private wine cellar room!

This is a great new spot! We love how this restaurant group takes historical buildings and preserves the foundation of what the building once was. This is no different. A church now a beautiful restaurant with many features of the church still present. Service started off a bit slow but then got into a flow and we enjoyed our server. The meal was also top notch and we think we like the food above Supperland. We were disappointed by the cocktails, most drinks were very sweet forward. Our favorite items of the night (because we couldn't just choose one): tartare mini tacos, sea bass, waygu beef, and vegetable sautè. This is a great spot for any celebration!

Unreal dining experience. Perfectly captures the southern North Carolina aesthetic and charm. Such a great date night with my beautiful wife with awesome wait staff and bartenders. Easily one of the coolest spots in Charlotte. Can't wait to get back.

Leluia Hall is a stunning and thoughtful addition to the excellent restaurant group that includes Supperland, Ever Andalo, and Haberdish. Like Supperland, Leluia Hall is housed in a beautifully restored church, and while some of the original décor has been preserved, the updates breathe new life into the space, giving it a fresh and vibrant feel. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. We were promptly seated upon entering the charming lobby area (with a reservation), setting a positive tone for the evening. A nice touch was being offered still or sparkling water, with an optional infusion of lime, cucumber, or mint--a small but memorable detail that elevated the experience. To drink, we ordered a glass of Chardonnay and the Chicha Morada. The Chicha was a non-alcoholic option and absolutely delicious--refreshing and flavorful. Our meal included: Chilean Sea Bass - Expertly cooked and wrapped in sweet potato, this dish was a standout. The chimichurri added a bright, herbaceous note that balanced the sweetness beautifully. Jerk Duck - Incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The portion was generous, and the accompaniments--pickled vegetables, jalapeño, a creamy sauce, and a crisp salad--added layers of texture and taste. Potato & Poe - A savory potato pancake topped with salmon roe. While it was enjoyable, I was hoping to try the other potato option, which was unfortunately sold out. Vegetable Sauté - A medley of perfectly roasted vegetables, with the pickled mushrooms stealing the show--absolutely crave-worthy. Overall, Leluia Hall delivers on both food and service. It's a welcome addition to the Charlotte dining scene, and I'm already planning my return to try the other potato dish, the sea bass ceviche, and more from their tempting menu. Highly recommend! Minus 1 star because they were sold out of a few food items. Also had to pay to make an online reservation. I'd rather have to pay if I didn't show up.

They did it again! The same owners of Supplerland blessed CLT with a seafood restaurant. Bless up. The location itself is on the fringe of South End and Dilworth, so easily accessible with great parking. The inside of the restaurant was so crisp with the interior decorating and with the location of the bar and oyster bar. The vodka oyster shooters were incredible, maybe that's why the table got 10 in total. The appetizers all hit with their own mouth watering flavor and cooked to perfection. My only criticism is the bone marrow portioning could have been more. The jerk Duck was so tender and juicy fillllllled with a perfectly balanced jerk flavoring that wasn't overly hot. Our server was always there to help the table whenever we needed something. The Leluia staff worked together to best serve their customers. A1 first experience. Leluia, welcome to CLT!

If they lower the prices, I'd gladly bump this to 5 stars and hate to see a few bad reviews on this platform. Acknowledging they are brand new, we had awesome service, flavorful dishes and great drinks. Decor is beautiful and has an upgraded Supperland vibe but just very pricey for what it is. Only true criticism is that the mini tacos are laughably small, for $14 you'd think it's more than a single bite. Jerk duck was one of the best duck dishes I ever had as well.

Leluia Hall has been living rent-free in my head since it opened. I waited for the right moment, and when my parents planned their first-ever visit to Charlotte, I knew this would be the dinner to close out their trip. I booked nearly a month out. The only time available was 5 PM on a Tuesday, so yes, we were early-birding it while the dining room slowly filled up... and honestly? No complaints. We had the space to soak it all in. The restaurant is inside a beautifully restored 1915 church with massive windows, vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and a whole section of seating that looks like an HGTV dream sequence. It's elegant without being stuffy and feels like Southern charm meets secret society dinner club. The Tonidandel Brown team also runs Supperland, Haberdish, Growlers Pourhouse, and Ever Andalo. Chef Christian Medrano had been teasing me for months on Instagram with specials, test dishes, and plating so beautiful it felt personal. So the anticipation was real, and I'm happy to report: this was hands-down one of the best meals I've ever had in Charlotte. Maybe the best. Service was top notch. Julia, our server, was warm, funny, and had clearly tasted everything on the menu. She was basically our food Sherpa. And then there was the garnish tray. Yes, a tray of fresh fruit, mint, cucumber, and citrus slices brought tableside to flavor your water like we were checking into a boutique wellness resort. Totally unexpected and now completely necessary everywhere I go. We started with the tiny tacos: lobster and wagyu ribeye tartare. The lobster was dressed in brown butter aioli and lemon zest, tucked into an heirloom masa shell with a violet blossom perched on top like it was about to walk the red carpet. The wagyu tartare tacos were rich, velvety, and had just the right amount of serrano heat. Both were bite-sized mic drops. The saffron honey chicken was my favorite of the night. It's cooked confit then finished on the plancha for crispy skin that crackles like a sitcom laugh track. It's glazed in saffron honey beurre blanc, layered with chili crunch made from fermented black beans, and finished with lemon. Rich, juicy, and unforgettable. The Chilean sea bass came wrapped in a thin sheet of sweet potato, resting on a smooth avocado chimichurri with brown butter and lemon. It was so delicate I felt like I needed to lower my voice. The whole roasted branzino, a special that night, came with charred herbs, mint, house-blended sazon, black garlic, black lime, sherry vinegar, and smoked jalapeño oil. Absolute flavor bomb. We also had the creamed cipollini onions with shaved parm, espelette, and thyme, which had us spoon-fighting. Chef Alex surprised us with the Masa & Cheese which had masa dumplings, cotija cheese, sweet corn, and popped corn on top. Like if mac and cheese and a street festival had a baby. For dessert, we had the fudge cake. Julia poured warm fudge sauce tableside over a dense chocolate cake until it cascaded down like it was staging a takeover. It sat on chocolate milk crumble with toasted vanilla ice cream slowly melting into the mix. Rich, dramatic, and perfect. By the end, we were painfully full. My parents have been on a serious diet streak, and I'm 90% sure I broke it in one sitting. Worth it. We had to walk the South End Rail Trail just to function again. And even during that walk, everyone was still talking about the food, the experience, the sauces, the ambiance... all of it. Pro tip: parking is mostly street. I got lucky out front, but give yourself some time to circle. Leluia Hall is something special. The food is as thoughtful as the design. The energy is warm but elevated, and the kitchen clearly has a lot of love behind it. Huge thanks to Chef Medrano, Chef Chris, Chef Alex, and the team for an unforgettable meal. An absolutely amazing dinner and a great date night. Although sold out of our first option the staff and their alternate recommendations was spot on. The food is delicious and fantastic presentations. The Jerk duck was beyond my expectations as well as my girlfriend's Chilean sea bass that we paired with vegetable saute and the confit domino potato. Recommendation to book your reservation in advance to enjoy this place. Also make sure to check out the wine room in the lower section.

My girlfriend and I heard about this new restaurant on Instagram and really wanted to try it out. They are booking pretty far in advance (likely since they are new) I booked reservations two weeks out so unless you don't mind sitting at the bar I would recommend planning ahead. There isn't a parking lot but lots of free parking around the building so give yourself some extra time to parallel park. Let's focus on the good first. The food was amazing but honestly the service was even better. Our server was super knowledgable about the menu, they bussed our table after each course and we felt well taken care of the entire time. The restaurant is in a renovated church and the interior design was stunning. The meal was also very tasty. My partner and I shared an appetizer, 1 protein, 1 side and a dessert. That was enough for two people. Now the bad, honestly there isn't a lot to say in this category but I would add that the garnishments were a bit over the top. We ordered the crispy rice and the lettuce on top could make a mini salad. But overall I highly recommend visiting!

Prices are shameful ($$$$) and small portions are too (1/3 Cup ceviche!) The atmosphere is great and service is fine. Flavor of the food is just ok and doesn't warrant the price.

Completely upset with the way we were treated. My girlfriend and her husband had a party for her 50th birthday in the wine room downstairs which was small but nice. When my friend and I went down to put balloons up before everyone came the waitress was there, and she seemed to have attitude from that moment on. Now, I have to say the bartenders upstairs were great! However , our waitress acted like she didn't want to be there. For instance, when I asked which potato's were better she said, I don't know. Everything was beautiful for my friend's bday party and the food was good, I was already texting my son that he needed to try it. The dinner was over and we were waiting on them to bring candles to light the cake when the manager came and told my friend and her husband that they were kicking us out, that our server didn't feel comfortable and safe waiting on us any longer. Completely shocked, we were like what??? She accused my husband of something that was inappropriate which was untrue. She wasn't even downstairs when my husband popped a ballon and a guy that was in our party took a picture of him. It was a funny picture NOTHING inappropriate at all! We were all laughing at the picture and when Stevie came back downstairs our friend showed her the picture and she went and told manager. He came and told us we had to leave without even asking what happed or anything, just said we have to leave. My friend, her husband (which is attorney) and all of us were completely shocked by what was happening. I felt so sorry for her, she was in tears. We are all business professionals and some own our on businesses and would never act inappropriately. I know I would want to know if any of my employees were treating my customers like we were treated, very unprofessional. Will never return. It started out so nice and ended terribly for my friend.

Leluia Hall is a refreshing take on the traditional surf and turf concept. The flavors are coastal with a splash of southern charm. We snagged a last minute resy the day before my birthday when we realized they were officially open for business and they truly made my day! As a gluten free foodie, I was blown away by the number of options available. Perfect setting for a date night. The Apple a Day cocktail was so expertly crafted and made me look at Mezcal through a different lens. The ceviche was fresh and fun - the sweet potatoes were a welcome addition, despite my skepticism. Everything we tasted was well plated and flavorful though our entrees (jerk duck and honey saffron chicken) were a smidge on the salty side. But the best bite of the night was easily the Creamed Onions. Looking forward to returning for a sugar cured steak and some tiny tacos!

I knew it would be excellent--because what else would we expect from the masterminds behind such local faves as Supperland, Haberdish, & Ever Andalo--but Leluia Hall far exceeded my expectations on every front. From the inviting curbside appeal & lovely landscaping, to the downright GORGEOUS interior, epic service, and array of steak and surf options to appeal to a variety of palates, I believe that you will leave feeling a sense of joy, gratitude, & praise well aligned with the name of the establishment (Ha-Leluia! ). For my first visit, I had to try the fish sticks that I kept seeing on the Gram. With blackened cod and shrimp & lobster mousse, this elevated childhood classic did not disappoint. The Brussels Almondine--a nice detour from the balsamic & bacon variations that we more typically see--were also on point. I anticipate that reservations will be hard to come by, but absolutely look forward to future visits. Cheers!

The restaurant itself was beautiful and had a great feel. The hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming. At the price point, I expected much higher quality food and service. Server was short with us, when I asked if the spring fever cocktail was good, all she said was "yes it's good" seemingly unwilling to sell the drink further or provide more details. My mother in law told her that she was not ready to order just yet and the server said "how about we start at this end of the table first and come to you last" instead of giving her adequate time to make a decision. Portion sizes of appetizers and entrees were small and lacked flavor. I don't plan on returning.

Best (bar) dining experience I've had in a long time. I got the Sea Beanie Tini that was light and refreshing (despite being spirit forward) almost like an elevated slightly dirty martini. Excellent! The Brussels, shrimp aguachile and stracciatella dishes were all SO good, I can't wait to go back to try a full meal. The decor was beautiful they've done such a great job with the design too! Highly recommend.

Leluia Hall certainly looks the part but falls short on value and execution. We are huge fans of this restaurant group and greatly enjoy their other restaurants as they each have their own unique twist to a great and delicious dining experience. In my honest opinion, beneath the polished surface that leluia hall presents, there are some significant gaps between expectation and execution. Drinks and appetizers are stylishly presented, but the appetizer portions are small, especially given their inflated price. There's a sense that garnishes are being used to fill out the plate rather than to enhance the food. Service is trying to put on a good face given the long wait to its grand opening, but it's clear the staff could use more consistent training. It seemed that their staff was either nervous or just low in confidence. When food delays occur, the fallback seems to be lemon or cucumber wedges or bite-sized "distractor" plates--not exactly the kind of proactive hospitality one expects at this level. Oddly, those lemon and lime wedges aren't even offered for water at the start, making it feel more reactive than thoughtful. Atmosphere-wise, the space is aesthetically appealing but suffers acoustically. It gets loud, and conversations echo, making it hard to settle into a comfortable evening. Also for some reason, it felt more as an upscale lunch rather than an intimate dinner experience. The lighting is very bright inside which is truly one's own personal preference. When you first walk in, it's a low lit sitting area but then immediately changes in brightness as you enter the main dining room. Compared to their sister restaurant in the area like Supperland & other upscale contenders in the CLT region, it seemed that Leluia Hall's prices run 15-30% higher across the board--without a matching bump in quality or consistency. At this price point, that matters, well at least to me. In a strange way, it feels the leluia hall concept is riding the tailcoat of Supperland. It's too similar in feel and a more unique concept could've been played better. As for the food, everything we ordered was delicious. Wasn't a huge fan of the popcorn as garnish for the masa and cheese plate. But to certainly give credit where it's due, their Jerk Duck was perfectly tender & the highlight of our dining experience. Leluia Hall certainly has potential, and with stronger kitchen execution, better staff training, and more honest pricing, it could become a standout. For now, though, it's style over substance.

Excellent anniversary dinner, birthday dinner or upscale date night. Drinks were great - I had the Blushing cocktail which is their take on a cosmo, smooth and delicious. We loved every menu item we tried, definitely recommend the hawaiian rolls with coconut butter. The sashimi taco was a great bite (although serving size is small), we had the sea bass entree was delicious. Overall, service was top notch, the space is beautiful, price is on the higher end for smaller portions. I love Supperland and will have to try Leluia Hall again before deciding which I prefer!

Just got home from a Saturday night dinner so my thoughts are fresh: Parking - there's a slightly busted up lot diagonal and on-street parking in the neighborhood. Service/Ambiance - our waitress, Jess, was really helpful with recommendations and really friendly. We were seated upstairs, and I was sweating by halfway through dinner; there's no air flow up there, and heat rises, so I was pretty uncomfortable - like, I bailed on dessert just so we could get out of there, which is rare. Some ceiling fans would go a long way. I was also surprised at how many people were dressed super casual; based on Supperland and Bonterra, I assumed this would be a dressier casual place, but almost all the men were in shorts, and I even saw some athletic wear. Food - we started with the fried coconut shrimp, which were pretty bland. For dinner, I got the chicken - which may have been the best chicken I've ever had - and the fella got the black cod. They were both so good we couldn't decide who won! We got a side of Brussels to share, and they were almost too salty to eat. Overall, Leulia Hall was solid, but they still have a few kinks to work out. Looking forward to trying them again... and sitting downstairs.

Great with allergies, just ask for the allergy menu! Labeled nut free, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Salads and veggies are great. Fabulous sea bass. The lemon risotto was incredible!

This place is a joke, they overcharge for everything, I got dinner plus a drink, and they charged $6.50 to pour a liquor drink neat versus in a mixed drink, so it was $20 for the liquor $6.50 to pour it neat and another $1 for club soda, seems to me they think the location dictates they can overcharge based on the clientele.

The place is beautiful, bright cutting edge and just a pleasure to walk into. The staff is friendly and the crowd attractive. The menu is interesting not overly large or intimidating, but they were out of half the entrees ... so I can't really tell you how good it is, because what we coukd order was limited . Felt like we were offered leftovers and it wasn't late or Sunday night. Prices are staggering.... this puts this place in the Steak 48 ( they always have everything) $$$$ category. And the game changer.. no valet parking. Take note management, Fox and Falcon and Georges didn't have valet parking. They are closed, their competition is thriving with valet. They direct you to a gravel lot across the street. Ladies in my family don't understand why church doesn't have valet . Now, if you want a delightful evening at half the price, go to their other location Ever Andolo in NoDa. It's more casual as is the neighborhood so the ladies won't have the stilettos on. And they have everything on the menu and it's all outstanding. Lots of hype on Leluia but consensus around town seems to be, pretty but I wouldn't go back. Conclusion? If you want to overpay to be at the new place that has half it's menu, go quickly, place won't last long unless the pockets are very deep. Have the ladies wear comfortable shoes .

We had a terrific experience here. My group of four finished everything we ordered. We ordered the Hawaiian rolls, the steak, the lemon risotto, and the avocado cake!! Plus the drinks were great and refreshing as well. Everything was perfect, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Make the service match the cost. And don't make customers box their own leftovers (has happened twice), that's not fine dining. Taste is good, but overpriced for the way the restaurant actually runs. I'll wait a while before going a 3rd time, hopefully they improve.

Round 2 just as good! A little copy and paste from supperland but can't complain bc supperland is top notch. Keep em comin!

Ugh, I was so excited that it's pains me to give 2 stars...but I'm just calling the balls and the strikes here....exactly as Leluia Hall threw them at me. My wife and I were excited to go out for our Anniversary.... we got a babysitter to ensure we could enjoy a quality dinner ($75). For the main course I ordered the $130 wagyu ribeye. The server brought out the 2 sides and my wife's Sea Bass. A minute or two later the food runner brought my wagyu ribeye to the table.....as she tried to set it down she dropped it on the floor. She was so embarrassed she ran away leaving the server to clean it up. Insane to witness this childish train wreck. The server immediately said he would get me another steak. After about 10 minutes the manager comes by saying they need about another 10 minutes for the steak to come out again. By time the steak comes out again, my wife is done with her dinner....and we are both done with our sides. So realizing I have a 16 oz steak to eat I asked the sever to bring me whatever side he could bring out immediately....so I actually had something to eat with the steak. Well as I sliced in to the steak it was completely obvious that the chef rushed it out and didn't let the steak rest before the pre-sliced it (see photo).....because of this it was bloody juicy plate and very very tough to eat. To the managers credit he did check in on the new steak and when I honestly told him and showed him the quality he immediately offered to comp it. Which is a nice gesture....but doesn't really make up that I paid for a $300 (plus tip) dinner....and literally what was suppose to be the highlight of the meal was ruined. Not to mention my wife ate alone. And that steak wasn't completely comped because the xtra $16 side I ordered due to steak being recooked I had to pay for. Outside do the main course being ruined which ruined the entire experience......a Mai Tai or cocktail in general is $20. Sides are small. Honestly feel like the owners realized people like their other restaurants.....so they'd opened this one with higher prices and serve mediocre stuff. So in the end paid for $400 (babysitter, cocktails, appetizers, dessert) for a ruined anniversary dinner. Why did I not give 1 star? In all honesty I kick myself for going here....literally every time in my life I've gone to a new restaurant I've had terrible luck like this....so giving them 2 stars as I should know better at this point than to try a new restaurant. That's on me. So a curved scaled 2 stars it is....instead do the honest 1 star they earned. Edit....I couldn't do the 2 stars.....1 star it is....after all I went here for the main course....just calling the balls and strikes.

The Wagyu was OK, the salad was fantastic, the take-home coffee cake was amazing. And the drinks were fantastic.

Have loved visiting Supperland so we couldn't wait to try Leluia Hall - and it did not disappoint! The menu was well thought out and everything we tried was simply amazing! The taste and seasoning of each dish was spot on - I asked for salt & pepper and it sat unused as everything was perfect as is. The decor was amazing - loved the china too. The owner stopped by our table - it was just the perfect night out! We had relatives in from out of town and they felt spoiled by such a wonderful dinner. Service staff was great. My only suggestion would be a coaster for my drink - maybe something cute and retro that I could steal as a memento for a great evening. Thank you to the entire staff and chefs at Leluia Hall!

Gorgeous setting; original and eclectic menu; food, service and drinks were outstanding. It's a full experience. Our waiter, Kevin, was outstanding and gave us great recommendations. Will definitely be back

Had the privilege of visiting Leluia Hall for the first time a few weeks after they opened. The food is positively outstanding as well as the service. From the group that brought you Supperland and Haberdish, you get the same level of detail -- not only the beautiful environment of the restaurant, but in the food creations. My business partner and I were greeted at the door by Chris, one of the hosts, who expertly guided us to the reservation stand. We were greeted professionally, with the right amount of enthusiasm and courtesy, by host Sydney. And were then escorted to our table by Talia. I do appreciate being asked if we're celebrating anything special but we weren't. We really just wanted to check out the food and the restaurant. Stevie was our server and was absolutely lovely. When we asked, she gave her thoughts on menu items and asked a few more questions, including if we had any allergies, to help us zero in on what we were in the mood for. She also gave us the recommendation on wine that would work well with our order. We started with the bone marrow and shrimp which I have to say is my all-time favorite. Absolutely amazing and beautifully presented. We enjoyed Wagyu Pichanasteak and had additional questions about it. Max. one of the managers, spent time with us at our table to answer all of our questions about this amazing cut of meat. The brussels almandine is top-notch as well -- on par with the Brussels at CG (another restaurant). Lemon risotto was perfection. We finished off with the amazing cheesecake. I highly recommend the restaurant just for the amazing service by the front of house, and the incredible creations by the chefs. The interior is positively beautiful. Next up for me, the oyster bar or the lobster Thermidor!

My daughter and I had dinner here, and we were both absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and just the right mix of upscale and comfortable. We had the fish sticks for an appetizer - they are so good! For entrees we ordered the ribeye and the sea bass--and let me just say, both dishes were outstanding. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find a place that gets every detail right, but this one did. All in all, this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

What a great addition to the Charlotte restaurant scene. We found them to be very quaint, exciting and delicious. The ambiance is perfect. Our servers Johnny and Kevin were outstanding! You won't be disappointed.

What a dream! From the staff, to the service, to the food, everything was impeccable! Even when an item was forgotten, it was immediately rectified. Highly recommend the Crab Louie and the coconut shrimp. Powerful flavors and things that I would never think to put together that were just magical! Sea bass and desserts were also top notch. Bravo!

I was really excited to try Leluia as I am a huge fan of Supperland. It wasn't bad, however Leluia is more expensive and not as good as Supperland. The prices are bordering on ridiculous ($47 for cod and $68 for NY strip with no sides) and the quality does not justify it. The menu is missing something and feels random. The decor is nice and our server was great though.

My girlfriend and I chose to have our anniversary dinner here and had high hopes. We had heard nothing but great things about this place and were super excited to try it. Boy, were we let down. We had a reservation, which we showed up ~13 minutes early for. We didn't expect to get seated that early, but given it was a Tuesday evening, we thought maybe they'd sit us 5-10 minutes early and if not, we'd get a drink at the bar. When we get there, the host tells us our table isn't ready and asks us to sit in the lounge. They made us wait the full time before seating us. I assumed we'd be walking into a completely full upstairs dining room, as the downstairs was full. Nope, a 60% full dining room with empty tables galore. So we just had to wait cause y'all felt like making us wait? This would have never been an issue, or even a 2nd thought, if the waiting hadn't continued. We sit, our waiter is cordial. We suggest drinks to which he recommends the Watermelon Hemp THC drink. Thought nothing of it until he informs us "I just had one and it is so refreshing and delicious". My girlfriend and I both took a mental note of the statement he had just made and adressed after he left. "Did he just admit he's high or did he have this drink yesterday and he just means recently?" We move on, I order a beer, my girlfriend orders a cocktail. 10 minutes go by and we put in our food order, which around that time my beer comes. I'm a gentleman, so I won't take a drink until my girlfriend has hers. Another 10 minutes go by and now my girlfriend and I are betting whether her drink shows up before or after our appetizers. Sadly, I won and her drink did not come before the appetizers. We ask the waiter where the drink is and he assures us its on the way. We finish our appetizers, still no drink. We ask the waiter a 2nd time where the drink is. He tells us it's coming out shortly. another 10 minutes goes by and we ask a 3rd time "where is the cocktail we ordered?" ~40 minutes after ordering, the cocktail shows up 8 minutes before our entrees. Since we were having steak my girlfriend wanted wine with dinner and really didn't even want the cocktail at this point. Once the drink came we got the most half-assed bs apology for what happened. "The upstairs bar is closed and our POS system was sending the cocktail tickets to the closed bar". It was 8:30pm, has this been happening all night and y'all did nothing about it? You've been open almost 6 months and you still have Night 1 type issues? Why did it take us asking 3 times for you to actually look into the issue? Anyways, they charged us full price for the drink, didn't comp anything, didn't even send the manager by to address anything. It's a JV operation for a place with a $130 steak on the menu. The only reason this got 2 stars is because the food is solid; I wanted to give them 1. However, we dropped $250 on dinner 2, which is coming out on the light end at this place, and got treated like we weren't even wanted there. We won't be back and we will be sharing our bad experience with those we know.

Overall good but the food price is high for what you get. I want to start that the service was great. From when we got out of our car they saw I was in a boot and ran out. Offered to use the ramp and met us there so I didn't have to use the stairs. Server and manager were great. They seated us immediately due to my leg even though the rest of the party was parking still. We started with the rolls, fish sticks, stracciatella, and shrimp. Fish sticks were the best. The cheese really lacked flavor. Rolls were good but I didn't love the coconut butter personally. Can't comment on the shrimp as I'm allergic. I ordered the waygu ribeye and it was good but not mind blowing for the price. Huge portion and great to share though. Husband got the sea bass and he said was average. Lemon risotto was bomb, Brussels were great too. Didn't love the onion side as it was sweet. Masa was ok but the flavors just seemed all over the place without a theme. Our friend found aluminum foil in her food, it was clear they used to cook and missed a piece. Manager was mortified and took the dinner off and offered to remake. Since it was clearly part of the cooking she wasn't concerned. We got the fudge cake which was good and smaller for two people. The salt put on the ice cream was just overpowering and too much. Small pinch of sea salt would be ok but we didn't eat the ice cream part became it was so overwhelming. Overall services was impressive. Food, they still have some work to do for the price.

I'm honestly sad to have to do this because I was so excited to try Leluia. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner and pretty much everything was a disaster from the beginning. We ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer which came with four big coconut battered shrimp and all of them were tragically over cooked and over chewy. I had to speak up to my waiter because he never came around to ask how they were. When I did speak up, he did graciously have them replaced with a new order, which was better but still not great. The shrimps were chewy and tough and overall the dish was simply lacking. I ordered a $25 glass of Cabernet and it had mass amounts of sediment in the bottom of the glass. I didn't mention this to him because it was still drinkable but I shouldn't expect that in such an expensive glass of wine. Next we ordered our entrees. I ordered the $85 wagyu picanha, medium rare with the $6 side of herb butter to top the steak. If you've never had a picanha before it is the king of steaks and one of my favorite cuts. It's supposed to have a nicely rendered fat cap on top that gushes flavor with every bite and with this being wagyu I thought I was in for a treat. Well the steak came out mildly warm, yet somehow also charred, so the herb butter would melt, so that was a waste of $6. The fat cap was not rendered at all making it a dense chewy piece of fat on top of a cold steak. My girlfriend got the 10oz prime filet and it was to be cooked medium. I could tell the quality of the steak itself was high but it was not properly cooked for her as it was sort charred on the outside and med rare+ on the inside. The flavor was not great to be honest, but the meat was quality. We ordered the fried mushroom side which was visually interesting, looking almost alien and it was a fried oyster mushroom cluster I think. I bit into it and it had no substance, only fry batter, was not good at all. And then we also got the potato pancake with salmon roe, which was also luke warm when it hit the table. I took one bit into with the salmon roe and almost spit it up. It taste like fish ass. In then end I'm very disappointed with the experience. At that level and cost of dining I expect a much much higher delivery even if it is still in the early days of opening. To their credit, after I complained of the picanha and the mushroom dish, they did take it off my bill, which should be expected considering neither was edible and I sent them away. After all was said and done, I still spent $200 including the tip and it's safe to say that I won't be returning. Very disappointed.
