I had an exceptional experience at Lemaire at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and welcoming. The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive—and every member of the staff made the evening feel special. I highly recommend!!!

Dinner at Lemaire in the beautiful Jefferson Hotel was one of the best meals I’ve had in Richmond. The space itself is gorgeous—refined and romantic without feeling uptight. The food was incredible. The polenta with chorizo had such a nice contrast between creamy and spicy. We started with raw oysters, and they were so fresh and well-prepared that my girlfriend, who had never tried oysters before, ended up loving them. I had the pork porterhouse, which was super flavorful and paired perfectly with a citrusy green sauce that really lifted the dish. The collard greens with bacon tasted homemade and rich, like something your Southern grandma would make. The salmon was cooked just right—crispy skin, tender inside, and perfectly seasoned. The mocktails were another surprise. Each one had layers of flavor and felt thoughtful and balanced. Honestly, they were fun enough that we didn’t miss having alcohol at all. Lemaire is the kind of place you go when you want to treat yourself to something special. Amazing food, great service, and an atmosphere that makes the night feel like a real occasion

My husband and I had dinner there the last weekend for the Christmas decorations. The place was stunning and the food unique but delicious! Our server was attentive. We sat in an intimate room of the restaurant. My husband got the beef tenderloin and I had the organic chicken. Even though delicious, I felt the chicken was a little dry and overcooked. The sauces definitely elevated the chicken. For dessert I brought home the eggnog cheese cake which was yum! I’d definitely go back when they change the menu so we can try something new. Definitely go for Christmas. It will make your visit even more special.

Lamaire is currently not in its coveted location at The Jefferson. They are currently located in a private space adjacent to TJ’s Restaurant and Lounge. While remodeling is competed, the rich atmosphere that Lamaire commands is on hold. That is where the differences end. The wine card is extensive. As we are Rioja fans we picked a beautiful bottle of 2012 Viña Tondonia Rioja. Simply Excellent. We had the Burrata with Heirloom Tomatoes (locally grown in Hanover) as our starter. I had the Herb Grilled Swordfish and Michele had the Pork Porterhouse. Both main courses were spectacular. Dessert… wow. My apologies, I did not take a photo of the dessert menu. I must admit, before arriving at Lemaire my expectations were very high. I travel extensively and try to eat healthy. I dine at mid to swanky restaurants. Lemaire’s cuisine may have been the best I have ever had. I had a few bites of michele’s Pork Porterhouse and asked myself, “how did they do that”? Details always matter. The top of the menu read, “Happy Birthday“. Nice touch. 👍🏽 We were assisted in our dining experience by Candy. Warm, kind, and professional. Thank you for ensuring our evening was perfect. You rock! We will definitely return to Lemaire.

Our team of pet sitters met at the invitation of our generous leader of the pack :) We sat at a long table near the windows enjoying drinks, conversation, and the delicious farm to table food. I had the tri-color quinoa salad which was served with fresh arugula, avocado, pickled onion, tomato, and feta. I tasted a very bright dressing lightly covering the entire salad. What a delightful dish as well as experience. Wait staff was professional, engaging, and attentive, but not overly so. It was such a wonderful experience. Thanks to all present. Such a lovely setting inside the elegant historical Jefferson Hotel!

I can’t rave highly enough about the service and hospitality of Lemaire and the Jefferson hotel. We had nothing but pleasant experiences during all of our encounters with the staff. The food here is exceptional - yes it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for and it’s top quality. We stayed two nights and dined here for dinner both nights. Honestly I couldn’t choose a favorite dish because everything was so delicious. Love the Gluten Free options too - the waitstaff even brought me GF bread. Such a treat!

What a deli holiday lunch with my lady friends! The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. The food and drinks were very good. Our waiter was exceptionally kind and courteous, a real charmer. A most impressive outing. It was well worth the drive from the peninsula and Williamsburg.

For this Yelp review we are going to travel back in time. We are going to leap back 6 years and 6 months to a time when my wife was my fiancé. The date was March 23rd in the year of our Lord 2018. We were celebrating her 39th birthday. I remember being pressed for time in researching a fancy restaurant. I eventually ran out of time and just needed to pick something. I wanted something posh and elegant with a long-standing reputation of quality. Lemaire received a AAA Four Diamond Rating in 2016 and has been recognized by local publications like Richmond Magazine and the Times-Dispatch on multiple occasions. I know this review is a stretch since it was 6 years ago, but I took great photos to help me remember. We evidently got the pork belly and crab cake as starters. For the main course my fiancé got the scallops, and I ordered the filet mignon. You can tell from the photo my filet was cooked to a textbook perfect medium rare. I remember our whole dining experience was professional and posh. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I'm confident that in present day 2024 and beyond Lemaire is still setting a gold standard.

This was an excellent dining experience when we were in Richmond the last time. Conveniently located within the Jackson hotel this establishment serves up nothing but the best! This time, we were there for dinner, and our server was excellent at making recommendations for our enjoyment. The service was impeccable; everything was pristine, napkins are folded when you step away from the table, and overall conversations with the weight staff are polite and informative. They make excellent recommendations as far as food and drink or concerned. We had the crabcake and the Manakintowne lettuces to start, and had the halibut and sea scallops for our main dishes. With such a marvelous meal, we then treated ourselves to dessert - chocolate ganache tart and coconut panna cotta were delicious, especially with a nice glass of tawny port. Definitely Recommended - can't wait to try breakfast and lunch the next time we visit!

We recently stayed the night at the Jefferson and decided to give this award winning place a try for breakfast. There was no hostess and each employee (3 in all) said wait a minute, let me get someone, and the 3rd just ducked around the corner. Needless to say after quite a long wait while we detail studied the menu... and no one came back. We left. This is an Award Winning Restaurant? If no hostess is available, why can't the employees set us? How hard is that? Absolutely worthless... definitely not coming back for another try. 0 stars for service and 0 stars for not having back up hostess instructions. I give this a 2 based solely on lack of service, and leave this for you to try

We had breakfast at Lemaire today and really enjoyed the experience. From the host to the servers, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with a ton of natural light. A well rounded menu with something for everyone and we felt that the prices were very reasonable. I had the eggs benedict and it was excellent and my husband had the three egg omelet. So delicious. I will definitely go back again!

We visited the Jefferson Hotel's Lemaire restaurant lounge for drinks and appetizers. The drinks and food were very good, though the bar area is a bit small with limited seating at what appeared to be four to five cafe tables with chairs. They do also have a bar to sit at. For food, we really enjoyed the fried deviled eggs. The four half-eggs came with some ham and greens as well as chili sauce. They were delicious. We also ordered the cheese charcuterie board, which came with fig jam, fresh fruit, four slices of bread, four slices of cheese, and a scoop of pimento cheese. It also was very good. Friendly staff did their best on a busy night with a smile on their faces.

I met my friend for drinks and dinner at Lemaire when I was in Richmond. This is located in the Jefferson hotel. I had not been in the hotel in almost 20 years and don't think I had ever tried this restaurant. It was honestly so so good! The server checked on us the right amount and although we planned to eat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation, we enjoyed our drinks at a table by the bar and then were seated by the window when we ordered our food. The ambiance is the historical aka dated vibe, but after we had dinner we walked through the Jefferson and WOW. It is just as beautiful and honestly stunning. My friend and I took a photo. Our food was so good! We got sandwiches... I got the crab cake and she got the BlT. She got a Cosmo and I got espresso martinis. The food was better than the drinks, and the drinks weren't bad. Just not "instagrammable" as they say.

We ate at the current replacement for Lamaire called TJs. The crabcake was delicious, as was the deviled egg appetizer. We ordered the peanut soup, which was "ok". It was really nothing special, just like melted peanut butter with a little liqueur added. The side salad was not edible, it contain several off tasting greens, most of them bitter. The coleslaw was the most bland I had ever eaten. No taste to it whatsoever, just like a dish of shredded cabbage. A friend ordered the burger,which was fine except the pungent cheese in the burger. Over all is was a fair dining experience.

Bartenders were nice and quick but the espresso martini was sooo watered down. It was definitely not made with real espresso. I could see straight through the drink. It tasted like an iced coffee when all the ice melts. The glass was hot out of the dishwasher too. Not the most appetizing for a martini

We were in town visiting family and stopped here for appetizers and dinner. The hotel is spectacular and the restaurant was super cute on the inside. Our waitress was super nice and did a great job. I had the afternoon delight and it was super good and refreshing. The fried devil eggs are a must try!! I don't even like devil eggs that much and they were killer. We also had the fried oysters which were good and I loved the sauce they came with. I bet the dinner is good here but its worth it to stop in for a drink and appetizers.

Date night with wifey - Parking - They have a lot available for customers a block over, but vallet at the Jefferson was the move for a special occasion. Check In - We arrived 25 mins early, so we grabbed espresso martinis, and oysters at the bar. Martinis were above average and oysters were delicious. It took 7-8 minutes to get any recognition, but once we did the service was good. Dinner - Our waitress was great and had good recs! We started with the Risotto and short rib appetizers. The Short Rib was the best I've ever had and the risotto was good. We followed that up with the Tenderloin entre and Mac & Cheese side. The Tenderloin was very good, but the best part of the dish was the leak bread pudding - amazing! The Max & Cheese was better than the Rissoto. Desert - We got the cheese cake to go and it was bomb! Best I've ever had. Service was good, ambience was great, food met or exceeded expectations for every dish. Check it out!

Celebrating my birthday and wanted to do something special. I've been eyeing Lemaire for a while but to be honest I'm not a fan of getting dressed up to go for dinner. But when it's your birthday and you've eaten at just about every restaurant that allows flip flops, you sometimes have to splash out for the food. Flip flops stored away, fancy outfit donned, reservation secured...I'm doing this! Oh and my husband came along for the ride. After studying the menu, reading reviews and viewing all the photos of my fellow Yelpers, we had a good idea of what we wanted to do, and it involved eating an embarrassing amount of food, but we really wanted to experience Lemaire. So here we go... We were greeted by our server Lori, who was phenomenal. Her vibe matched ours and the service she provided elevated our experience. I reviewed with her the items we wanted to eat and I left it to her to course it out. First things first, beverages. My husband got the old fashioned. I haven't been drinking so wasn't sure I was going to have anything but made a game-time decision to get a half bottle of Bordeaux. Mind you it was expensive ($60), but well worth it. I looked up the wine and it was highly rated and after tasting it I get why. It was lovely. For food we got fried oysters, Caesar salad, raw oysters with mignonette, scallops, filet, pork chop and chocolate mousse cake and coffee for dessert. We left it up to Lori to figure out the order of things and how it was served and she did a great job. We started with the fried oysters, which had the best fried chicken crust and they were served with bread and butter pickles, ham and hot sauce with a remoulade. Jeez these were good! Next up was the little gem Caesar salad. Loved this appetizer! The dressing was more like a Caesar vinaigrette, which a appreciate. And the anchovies...honestly just fry up a bunch of those and let me devour them. Then the oysters on a half shell with mignonette. They were good but I had bits of shell, which was a little off putting. I mean, they opened oysters way better than I can, so who's complaining. Next up was the scallops entree with blue crab succotash. We split this too and my goodness that was a good decision. Soooo glad we decided to do that. No regrets. And the entrees. My husband got the cider-brined pork chop and loved it and I got the filet mignon substituting grits for potatoes. Delicious. We brought both home. And finally dessert. Chocolate mousse cake and they wrote happy birthday on the plate and presented it with candles. Also forgot to mention that Lori brought sorbet ahead of the entrees. This most definitely was the best meal I've had in Richmond and probably one of the best I've had in a long time. I'd do it again in a skinny minute. Just wish flip flops were appropriate attire.

Visited Lemaire Restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful time. Our server was Jarrod and he was awesome. Had the shrimp cocktail, peanut soup, and turkey sandwich with a tossed salad and for dessert, had the eggnog cheesecake and they were all terrific. We go to Lemaire every Christmas to enjoy all of the beautiful decorations at the Jefferson Hotel. Such a wonderful place during the holidays.

The ambiance was great but the food was unseasoned and mediocre and the service was poor.

If you like slow undercooked food, this is your spot! I'll be reaching out to the health department Monday morning. Sad. Great location.

SHORT REVIEW: YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. Expensive =YES Worth it =100% YES! FULL REVIEW: This place pays attention to detail & the food is exceptional. The elegant decor & ambiance set the mood for a perfect evening. I tried mussels, which I normally think are gross, but I did it because my husband loves them. WOW! They were actually delicious & I ended up eating more of them than my husband! The tomato salad was the best I've ever had. The tomatoes were brought in fresh from a local place that afternoon & the mozzarella ball I'll be dreaming about for months. It was intact, but as soon as you sliced it, it burst with exquisite melted deliciousness. Amazing! The staff was expedient, attentive & well knowledgeable about the drinks & menu. We will definitely be back!

10/10 experience at Lemaire! Bruce our waiter was so sweet, very knowledgeable about the menu, and helped guide us in our food decisions. He was so gracious in answering our 800 questions haha. We went with the fried oysters for the appetizer and for entrees the scallops accompanied by polenta served two ways, as well as the snapper over a succotash (no Lima beans here!). Everything was delicious! The oysters came with a house made hot sauce and another sauce that tasted like potato salad which was so weird but tasty and complemented them well. The scallops were huge and cooked perfectly. My friend loved her snapper and was impressed at how well seasoned the succotash was. For drink options, I brought a bottle of champagne of my choice which I love you have the option to do (as long as it's not already on their extensive list). The corkage fee is $25. For dessert we opted for espresso martinis LOL. If you have not been to The Jefferson Hotel, it should definitely be on your list. Such a beautiful hotel with picture worthy architecture.. and a delicious restaurant! **Note: they change their menu every 4 months or so so don't be surprised if what you see here isn't what you get!

Decided to try this place for my wife's birthday and I'm glad we did. We had an amazing dinner. Food was delicious and you can tell the chefs are top notch. Every single bite has so much flavor. Drinks were equally amazing. I had an old fashion and my wife had a gin martini which were smooth. I'm glad we decided to do dessert with a cheesecake. Which I highly recommend with a port wine. The service was excellent, they even printed my wife's name on the menu and which made it feel really personalized. They included a candle with our dessert cake. Needless to say, my wife was truly amazed. Thank you to the staff for giving us a memorable night. We'll be visiting soon on our next special occasion.

Beautiful restaurant with great decor sits in The Jefferson hotel. Really enjoyed our dinner and breakfasts. The staff is very attentive and accommodating.

Delicious! Ate here for my birthday dinner. I loved the tenderloin main course especially the mushroom and leak bread pudding!! My wife loved the rockfish almondine with the wild rice with a subtle hint of apricot. The caesar salad was perfect for sharing. For drinks, had the old fashioned with bulleit rye and my wife ordered the espresso martini. the martini was very good but not extraordinary. For dessert, we split the cookie cheesecake. Interesting choice with a biscoff cookie on top ("speculoos" cookie) , but it worked! Waiter was very professional. can't wait for the next special occasion!

Food is always amazing, service is always top notch and the setting is top notch. I just wish they would change up the menu more often.

We just had the most wonderful meal and overall experience. I made the huge faux pas in not double-checking my reservation date. My sister and I are in Virginia to visit our grandparents for the holiday season. The entire place was paceked to the brim, a huge private party was booked downstairs and I was crushed to see that I had mistakenly booked for three weeks out. Liam and GG were at the front - it was a chaotic night and they both were the most kind and respectful. Liam graciously offered to look for open seating. Then, Melissa came in. She was able to seat us after a cancellation - a Christmas miracle. We were stunned and ecstatic to say the least. Our server was Ray - again, kind, warm and professional. The bar delivered SUPERB incredibly dirty martinis, with an attention to detail. I enjoyed a Sangiovese. Then, the food. We had the chicken, rockfish and salmon. All mouth-watering and delicious. Finally, to top off this treat of an event, we shared the crime brûlée which was out of this world perfection - light, not too sweet and a touch of nutmeg perhaps? Overall, I understand the care this team took - on a busy Saturday night in the start of December. We were so fortunate and we thank the restaurant so much for accommodating us. We will continue this tradition every year (except next time, I'll be sure my reservations are correct beforehand!!!) Cannot say "thanks" enough from the "Jan 2,2024" crew. We appreciate you!

We didn't eat at the restaurant (unfortunately). We happened to walk by this building and oh my gosh it's beautiful! We stopped inside to take a peak and we hope to stay at the hotel as guests one day. The inside is equally incredible. We grabbed a drink at the Lemaire bar. The drinks were good. I felt undressed (wearing casual clothes touring the city) but the staff was very friendly. Classy place and based on the service I'd come back. We had "The Riviera" and the "Gin Ruby" cocktails.

Had breakfast here. Wanted a smaller portion size so ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was on a croissant. Still a large portion size. Two eggs on bacon lettuce and avacado and tomato. Super tasty. A little had to eat. Super tasty. The service was great. food came out quickly.

Very nice dinner on a Saturday evening. White table clothes, beautifully set tables. Menu had a good cross section of fish, chicken, beef. I had a Cesar salad that was good, met the standard for a good salad at an expensive restaurant but large lettuce leaves and a stronger Dijon flavor keeps this salad from earning highest marks. My husband had the risotto appetizer which was very fresh and unique, he really enjoyed it. I had the crab cake for my entree and it was good. Wine was very nice and the price was not overly inflated. Dessert was delicious

The Jefferson Hotel should be a stop during your visit just to witness some of the history and the elegant design. While there, check out Lemaire, it's restaurant that provides locally sourced ingredients, seasonal menus, and great New American food. Admittedly, we were a little hesitant to come with our 3 1/2 year old for an earlier dinner, but staff quickly assuaged any concerns. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we were able to get a seat outside on their patio. Our servers were great - welcoming, flexible, and quick. We ordered the risotto, crab cakes, and a few appetizers. They also have a kids menu (the Mac n cheese was a big hit). We enjoyed our dining experience and while inside is beautiful, it's worth sitting outside of the weather cooperates.

Such an amazing experience. Ask for Ryanna, she is the best. If you are downtown in Richmond and don't have a seat and drink with Ryanna, you've missed you. QUEEN!

We always enjoy Lemaire! This is a wonderful special occasion restaurant and one of the few places in Richmond where you can really dress up and not feel out of place. My husband and I dined at Lemaire on New Year's Day and had a great experience, as always. The Jefferson was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We are glad we arrived a bit early for our reservation to enjoy the holiday decorations and take photos. We started with holiday specialty cocktails and shared the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Appetizer and Butternut Squash Bisque. For dinner, we shared the Grass-fed Beef Tenderloin and Caramelized Sea Scallops. We wanted to try the scallops, but every time we go to Lemaire, the beef tenderloin is so good that we were considering just getting two tenderloin entrées. Our server assured us that the scallops were delicious enough to stand up to the tenderloin, and he was right! For dessert, we had the Dark Chocolate Delight and Vanilla Almond Mousse. Everything was truly phenomenal. Lemaire just does it right every time. The service was perfect. In fact, at the beginning of the meal, I accidentally burned the corner of the leather menu cover with the candle. Our server relit our candle and kindly answered our menu questions without me even realizing what I'd done. My husband was the one to nicely point it out and remind me to be careful with fire, but our server never said a word. He kindly went about taking good care of us as I was inadvertently lighting their things on fire. All in all, our dinner at Lemaire was a wonderful experience and great way to kick off the new year. We can't wait to return.

Had my husband's birthday here tonight. Very nice and accommodating staff. Service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We have a couple of vegans in the family who were able to have delicious meals which is rare, and we never take for granted!! Highly recommend.

We ate here for dinner before our date at the theater. We had reservations which I would recommend unless you wanted to try your luck at the bar. We were there at 5pm on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded. They bring you fresh sourdough bread when you are seated. The dining hall is gorgeous, just like the rest of the Jefferson Hotel. We ordered the Crab Cakes as an appetizer and they were perfection - perfect texture and seasoning, not salty or mushy at all. Then we ordered the Scallops and the Duck Breast for dinner and both were delicious. For a romantic date and some scrumptious French cuisine this place is a winner.

My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our 7th anniversary of marriage. We are both vegan and asked them if they had any options for us food wise. We arrived early, so we sat at the bar until our table was ready. They showed us to our table and presented us with a separate vegan menu! We were so happy! Each dish was amazing, and we even got a dessert, which is so rare at places that are not typically vegan. It was so good that we are having our daughters 18th birthday party there in September. The room is beautiful. The only complaint is that the AC was under the window where our table was. It was freezing.

We love Lemaire & we've been three times in the past year after we moved to Richmond. The decor of the Jefferson hotel is just so classy & timeless, the food are well presented, the plating is always beautiful, and the food delicious. The is THE SPOT for fine dining in RVA. The staffs were friendly & professional, and our waiters have always recommended us good wine to pair with our meal. The desserts are so fun & tasty, definitely a must!! The only thing that was I would opt for bottle of wine instead of the cocktail, the two cocktail we tried were a little underwhelming for the price, but the wine has always lived up to the hype

Lovely little restaurant in the Linden Row House. The dining room is quiant and intimate. Our dinner was very good and the staff was friendly. When the weather is warmer, would love to sit in the courtyard.

Hotel restaurants always over deliver due to location, in my opinion. This place contain great lighting quiet setting, and even elegant decor. It was a classic fine dining! The drinks definitely hit, so you'll definitely leave satisfied. I can say it hurt that dinner didn't start until 5 p.m. although I was just looking to grab lunch, I waited for dinner, and to my surprise the Flink Angus steak was worth waiting for. This place is definitely a great setting for lovely business meeting or perhaps a couples outing. I definitely recommend if you're looking for something upscale in Richmond.

I celebrated my birthday here. Initially Couldn't make a reservation online because everything was booked and couldn't reach their line. But didn't realize staying at The Jefferson hotel would help get a reservation. The raw oysters were so good and sweet. I ordered the Herb Roasted Rockfish and it was delicious. The sweet potato purée and perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts with bacon was a really good trifecta.

I loved the flank steak from my last visit here. Todays visit was just for desert and the chocolate cake did not disappoint. So decadent and indulgent! The service here is always excellent! The hotel is beautiful and a lovely stop in the downtown area.

If you are looking for great French food without a reservation, this is the place for you! They have delicious Virginia Peanuts and olives while you wait, along with a fantastic wine menu. I'd also like to recommend the Cold Salmon plate, as the Deviled Egg is no longer available.

I'm a little surprised to be giving LeMaire 4 stars but the takeaway from a recent dinner was that the restaurant didn't live up to expectations. I had the Crispy Chesapeake Bay Oysters and Bar Harbor Maine Mussels for appetizers, the Ancho Chili Rubbed salmon and Vintage Grass-fed Beef Tenderloin for entrees and added a side of the mac & cheese. Dessert was the strawberry leches cake. The hotel is elegant with a classic touch. The restaurant has different atmosphere's in the bar/dining area near the entryway as compared to the patio seating or smaller dining rooms in the wings where I was seated though I imagine they all offer pleasurable experiences in their own different ways. From a mile high I must say the meal was good and service was fine. Perhaps it's due to the grand list of dining experiences I've accrued over the years that LeMaire falls well lower in the ranks than I might've expected. The restaurant of Richmond's only five star hotel doesn't compete with Tarrant's, Millie's, or the Boathouse. It's true peers are Richmond's best, Chez Max, Julep's, and Buckheads which, along with others stand at the highest tiers of the city's dining landscape. The meal was fine and the food was tasty, but for an establishment like this 'tasty' doesn't cut it. All was good though but uninspired; though I didn't expect perfection I was looking for an incredible experience. Service was attentive but surpassable. We had no problems to speak of but I will say the farro verde that came with the salmon was too salty and wasn't eaten. Forgoing a stiff drink or wine I went with the seasonal IPA which was nice though made water the preeminent beverage of the table which surprisingly hit bottom a couple times during the meal. For $130 I expected a more memorable and rewarding experience, one that left me buzzing rather than being forgettable and overall - underwhelming.

This place is wonderful! The atmosphere was just great. The restaurant is beautiful and jaw dropping with much splendor. ALL the staff were super friendly, attentive and kind. We had a fine dinner here and then breakfast the next morning and we had equally great experiences here and with everyone we met. The food was delicious! The fresh fried oysters, the salads, the soup and entrees... everything was super fresh, well seasoned and just perfect! I loved the creativity with the pursuers that came with a bit of house-made hot sauce and blue cheese sauce. The Caesar with white anchovies was super tasty. The halibut was perfectly cooked. Every bite was wonderful! And breakfast was awesome too! Especially the eggs Benedict and the grits!!

Had a lovely breakfast and lunch at Lemaire with partner's family - the service was impeccable and we enjoyed both meals. I especially loved the Hot Honey BLT and Barvarian as dessert; it was a very filling meal and the ingredients tasted fresh.

Amazing from start to finish. Started w amazing butter and bread. Salads were very surprising. Both incredible. Then the fresh oysters and crab cake. Perfect burger, dessert and service. Worth the drive from DC

This sunny morning we decided on dining in the restaurant instead of orfeeing room service again. My party of 4 enjoyed a simple sunlight corner table this morning. We were quickly seated and paper menus were placed on our table clothed table setting. I always appreciate a proper tablesetting, cloth napkins with table cloth. Quality utensils that were clean and probably polished when the table was set. Our waiter was very friendly and wore a mask, but Jadens smile was in his voice. He filled out sparkling clean water glasses and asked if we would like coffee. Offered s selection on milks or creamer. I went with OAT MILK!!! Although I do not use any sugar or sweetener with my coffee I noticed about 5 different varieties. He went for our coffee which gave us time to make meal selections. I went with Belgian waffles chose the banana compote with hazelnut spread and toasted hazelnut it arrived with a dollop of whipped cream. Hot and fluffy it did not call for extra calories by adding butter. I poured the warm syrup on top and dove in. I enjoyed a side of stone ground grits with melted cheese. Hubby and went with Bacon egg and cheese toasted Crossiant with a slice of tomato and I believe spinach. Bro in law had a crab stuffed omelet with a side of smoked salmon(my fav) my lil sis went either the Lemiere platter scrambled eggs, bacon, warm Crossiant and delicious diced potatoes. Jaden offering more coffee when I enjoyed. A variety of juices are also available. All in all we totally enjoyed our breakfast, service was excellent as well. We agreed to dine here again even when were not staying in the hotel

Overall just so-so ... service was average, cost was high and value poor. Please know - not bad - but there is so much more that is outstanding why would anyone choose Lemaire?

One of the worst meals I have ever had. I have been to the Jefferson Hotel many times to TJ's and to the brunch. I was there recently and my party of three all had salmon that was RAW with cold bread. One of the few times in a restaurant I was unable to finish the food especially after the bill was $185.00. Not only was the food horrendous but so was service I won't be going back.

Haven't been to Lemaire in quite a few years. What a great Valentines meal! Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Spaced out, private seating, which is a plus. Great atmosphere. We got both specials, the halibut and the ny strip, everything was delicious!
