The 26 Best Restaurants in San Juan, Puerto Rico

"Chef Ruben Guzman’s superb cooking over an open fire makes the Miramar Food Truck Park a must visit destination in San Juan. Signature dishes include the choripán sandwich with chimichurri, roasted chicken thigh, and grilled catch of the day, often spearfished by chef Guzman himself. The grilled eggplant is a superb vegetarian option." - Paulina Salach Antonetti, Alicia Kennedy

Next level food truck here. Wood fired grill. Every food item is elevated to its fullest potential of flavors. Same amazing flavors in the first to the last bite. Only regret is not getting to try every item on the menu. I had the Roasted Pumpkin soup with chorizo, grilled chicken thighs over chickpea stew and rice. Also added a side of the fresh cut fries from a recommendation while waiting in line.

Looking forward to seeing what the local food trucks had to offer. This one certainly did not disappoint. The bacalo fritters were very lite and airy not like the flat fried fritter I'm use to. Love the food truck scene here in santurce

This place is well deserving of 5 stars on everything! We tried multiple menu items and were blown away by each one! The Choripan was THE BEST I’ve ever had- the chimichurri on top was what set it apart. Others in my group tried the rotisserie chicken and empanadas. Empanadas weren’t quite filling, but a great appetizer with another meal. Drinks nearby were a perfect addition.

The food is amazingly delicious. I’m traveling with foodies and we’ve been to many great restaurants. This is my favorite meal yet. Well done.

As good as promised from other reviews! We tried the choripan and shrimp roll - both were delicious. Showstopper for me was the rice and chickpeas though ❤️

wow. absolutely delicious!!! we got the chicken thigh + shrimp and chorizo sandwiches. Chicken thigh fell apart when we cut into it (in the best way) and the brioche bread encasing sandwich was to DIE for—so crumbly/slightly crispy and buttery. So good that we are coming back again for our last night on the island!!!!!!!!

Choripán was excellent! The fries were also really good.

Best barbecue you will eat in the world coming out of a small food truck with a fire pit to the side. The idea and the concept is out of this world and the chef in front of the grill is really a master. If you visit this food truck park in Miramar make sure to stop at this jewel. I recommend the Pollo a la Brasa!!! Also try the choripan.
