L'Entente, Le British Brasserie

Came here for the fish and chips and it did not disappoint! Their tartare sauce was perfect. Actually everything we tried was pretty good. We ordered the Shepherd's pie and Poached Pear, Endive Stilton & Walnut Salad as well which were both well-made. The restaurant had a warm casual atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded but I would still recommend to make a reservation just incase. All the servers were friendly and accommodating. Def worth checking out!

we found this on TheFork and decided to give it a shot even that we’re in Paris. We decided to try the English food which was actually very good. I had a salmon and it was delicious with potatoes and string beans. We also had the shepherds pie glasses of wine, green salad, the waiter was excellent. English perfectly are in English indoor outdoor seating. I like the indoor atmosphere. It was a really good fine if you’re in the area make sure you check it out.

It’s often not easy to find good British food in Britain. Let alone on the continent. What I found was a great surprise. There was the warmth, atmosphere and good humour I look for in London.. and don’t always get.. combined with the art and love of Food, and taking time to enjoy life and maybe why food seems so emotional to the French. It is life. It is joy or a wasted opportunity.. So I opted for something that can either bring back the smiles of childhood or bemoan the world.. fish and chips. All of the food was delightful and I stuffed myself silly. The host was very helpful and good humoured and added to A great evening. It was a delight and like good memories I will return.. maybe try the recommended pies next time! A must visit. Loved my time here.

Best Shepherd's pie I have ever had! This English restaurant is pretty pricey, a beef Wellington at 40+euros and the pie itself at 22euros. Honestly, the pie was so worth it, the Wellington, not so much. The meat was chewy and a little tough to cut, whereas the potato was crispy on the top and soft & buttery on the inside. The meat in the pie was juicy & had an amazing taste. Great atmosphere, had gone with friends & we spent 4 hours there. The waiter, who might also be the manager was very friendly, had a ton of jokes to crack & was very kind to us. He did well to check in on us now and again & ask if we needed anything else. Their homemade lemonade was wonderful, nice kick of lemon & very refreshing. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding & a slice of their chocolate cake. Both were heavenly! All in all, worth a try, depending on what you order, but too expensive for my liking.

I’m was craving a full English breakfast and it’s not so easy to find one in Paris so I was thrilled when I found this place. I ordered their version called ‘The Full L’Entente’ which was okay because it did the job, however for €26 a plate I expected more. The extra black pudding for €6 was generous and delicious. Ordered a Bloody Mary too, which was also delicious but it was served in a wine glass so in 3 gulps it was done. Overall…I’m sure they can do better.

The food was incredibly good. We loved the beef Wellington and the faux fillet. The dessert are incredibly tasty. I recommend that place if you want to tast the best of the British food.

Average food, small portion but expensive. We eat outside & staff was friendly, but didn’t follow up (they stayed inside majority of the time)

Great meal last night. With bonus of being close to Tuileries so we popped to see Olympic Torch after. Highly recommended, food & service excellent.
