Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen

"It’s a family affair at this authentic Tuscan restaurant, from the top-notch meats and cheeses sourced from chef Francesco Lenzi’s family farm in Pisa to his mother’s limoncello. The chef uses traditional cooking techniques from back home and often pops out of the open kitchen to greet diners like family. Start with antipasti or an iI primi like Risotto Taleggio e Tartufo and then try the flavoursome Filetto Alla Rossini. Reservations are recommended." - Michelin Inspector

Dear team of Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen, Thank you for such a wonderful evening. I really do not know how you elevated everything beyond the superb meal on offer. We were so touched by your thoughtful and attentive and unassuming service. It could not have been a better experience.

You can never be disappointed by this restaurant. It’s a hit for those craving authentic Italian in Bangkok. The chef brings ingredients straight from his family farm in Italy. The vibe is warm and unpretentious. You can see all the actions through open kitchen. Prices are not cheap but fair for the quality. The wine list is a highlight with a large selection of prestigious bottles but offering a solid value.

The food was okay, nothing extraordinary. Creme caramel was nice, while the mains could be improved. As some have mentioned, the pasta was a letdown. Both rigatoni dishes were undercooked and *cold*. My rigatoni pomodoro was also weirdly bitter?? I struggled to finish it because of the bitterness.

The restaurant was a really nice setting but there are many things that should be improved. First of all, I don't like the staff standing and looking when we eat and also standing and listening to our conversation. I went with my colleague and the staff are all looking at us as we are the only customers at lunchtime. Make us feel very uncomfortable. Thai woman and Thai guy served us. They should train the staff how to be manner during customer dining. Even when we said give us a minute if we want anything we will called. Second, we ordered lunch set 4 course menus. Please see the photos attached that showed the portion of cat food 🤣 The price was incredible overpriced, and red wine by the glass vost almost 900 baht lunch coat around 1200 Thai baht, which is excluded Services charge and Tax. Third, I never see any restaurant that serves half of Panna Cotta 😆 🤣 😂 I don't mind paying for expensive food if we get what we pay. The only good thing is that the food was tasty and well prepared with a beautiful decoration.

**A True Italian Gem!** I had the pleasure of dining at lenzi recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The highlight of the evening was without a doubt the pasta—authentic, fresh, and cooked to absolute perfection. Each bite transported me straight to Italy with its incredible flavors and perfect textures. The sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the handmade pasta beautifully. The chef clearly knows how to craft traditional Italian dishes with passion and precision. Good service as well and they have a valet for parking!

Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen in Bangkok delivers an authentic slice of Tuscany, offering a memorable Italian dining experience. From the moment you enter, the rustic ambiance combined with a modern touch sets the perfect tone for a delightful meal. Starting with their antipasti, the cold cuts selection is a standout – beautifully presented and high-quality, it’s a fantastic way to ease into the meal. Their homemade pastas are deliciously fresh and capture the depth of traditional Tuscan flavors. The risotto is perfectly creamy, with the rice retaining just the right bite, showcasing the chef’s expertise. But the real star of the menu is the Fiorentina steak – cooked to perfection with a seared crust and juicy, tender interior, it’s a must-try for meat lovers. For dessert, their gelato is simply divine. Each scoop is creamy and packed with authentic flavors that instantly transport you to Italy.

My second time here but first dinner. The service is very good and interior is nice. Somehow at end of meal the lights became brighter and the mood was more cafeteria which at 12k for food and wine ruined the evening. The wines are fairly priced and good. The bread and olive oil were fine quality. We ordered their cheese and meat appetizer which was interesting but lacked more variety in the cheese selections. The seared scallops in beetroot were good but didn’t come out hot more cool side which is a pity as freshly seared is way better. Out pasta was on the dull side not much flavor in the ragu. Was hoping the mains would be better. Again tasty but nothing special in the wow department. It felt all dishes had sat about a bit before being brought to us. No super distinct flavors and again everything we received was slightly on the cooler side…..which for my guys seared steak at 1800 bhat was a disappointment. Just didn’t hit me as eating anything spectacular for flavor after trying many dishes.
