The food was spectacular, with so many flavors and vibrant colors. It looked good, tasted good, and felt good eating it. The eggplant was solid, topping most of the other similar restaurants that serve this. The staff were all spectacular as well and will stop by and have a chat with you if you allow them to - very enjoyable stuff. Best part is after your meal, you can stop by next door at their sister bar for some amazing cocktails.

I’ve had their house rice a few times but the last couple of times it’s been a small amount and I don’t see pine nuts. I got probably 1 bite of chicken in my plate. The plate isn’t even 1/2 full, they spread the rice so it looks like a lot but I was able to stack all my rice in one corner of my box. $16 for a side of rice is insane. It’s embarrassing.

The food was really good. I enjoyed the different flavors and textures. Definitely will try again. The inside had a nice atmosphere too.

Vibe & Service This spot easily handled our 10+ group on a quiet night. Staff was genuinely helpful and attentive throughout our meal. Menu Surprises Lebanese-Mexican fusion sounds exciting, but feels more like two separate menus living side by side. The tacos? Purely Mexican—no Lebanese twist in sight. Standout Bites The appetizer sampler played it safe with standard baba ganoush, labna, and grape leaves. However, the fried cauliflower stole the show! The warm pita arrived with that perfect soft-meets-crispy texture we all crave. Sip Worthy Their pomegranate cream soda packs a tangy yogurt punch rather than sweetness—unique and refreshing. Main Event My chicken shawarma wrap was decent but forgettable. The side potatoes arrived disappointingly soggy, though the powerful garlic toum sauce nearly saved them with its bold flavor. Bottom Line 3/5 stars. Great for groups and solid service, but the kitchen hits and misses. With those soggy potatoes and identity-confused menu, I'm not rushing back despite the cauliflower's valiant efforts.

I played in a music festival where this restaurant was my venue. The staff was the best!! I forgot my ukulele In Long Beach, and they got me one!! So nice, food was great, customers had a great time! Parking is tricky but worth the search.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is always a pleasure to return to Fullerton. Les Amis is always on the menu - especially when the Dixiedelics are in town. The service is always gracious, and you just can’t beat a summer evening outside in Downtown Fullerton! If you’re looking for a memorable evening with good food, good friends, good wine, and good times, then Les Amis is the place for you!

This hidden gem is a must! A friend recommended this spot for a great meal. So glad we decided to stop in. Was greeted right away. Seated. Place seemed empty maybe it was just the time of day. 4pm on a Sunday. Either way definitely worth the stop. Tried the potatoe balls, chicken kabob plate and chicken wrap. Food was tasty and fresh. Loved the garlic and hummus spread. The lemonade was also fresh. So many great things to say about this place. Our server was also attentive. Thank you Le Amis ❤️ will definitely be a returning customer

We had a wonderful experience here for dinner. A very eclectic place with great food and music. The service was very friendly and helpful. They even had their own beer which we had to taste.

Yelp
The most delicious food, kindest service, and wonderful music and ambiance! I've been eating at Les Amis for about 15 years now--since my college days--and it's always been an authentic, cozy space. I still remember the first soup I ever had here; it had flavors I'd never experienced before, and I've been coming back ever since. I love bringing my friends, family, and partner here. The owners are the sweetest, and the service always makes you feel at home. Everything on the menu is delicious, but I especially love the cauliflower dish and the mint tea. Les Amis will always be one of my favorite spots, and I'm so grateful for the many memories made here.

Yelp
I've dined at Les Amis several times and usually enjoy it, but this visit was a real disappointment due to poor service. The food was great -- we ordered cauliflower and garlic naan (basically a single slice of garlic pita for $7 -- pricey). Our server, a tall younger guy with a beard, gave us minimal attention. I spent about 10 minutes trying to flag him for refills, and when he finally came over, he said, "I saw you looking around, do you need help?" -- as most of our drinks sat empty. Inside wasn't busy (maybe five tables and a few at the bar), but we got almost no service. We had to ask the owner, Juan Carlos, for more pita, and even though the restaurant was slow, it took 15 minutes to get it. He just put in the order instead of grabbing it himself. To close out, we had to ask the server multiple times for the check -- he walked away and went back outside to clean the patio. I eventually had to go to the bar to pay, and when I mentioned the bad service, I got attitude from the bartender. Les Amis has great food, but this experience really missed the mark. Hope it was just an off night, but it left a bad taste. Will try again but hopefully things will be changed

Yelp
So glad we stopped in! This will be one of my go-to restaurants for fresh and flavorful Lebanese dishes. We were seated outside on the patio, we were treated to live music on this evening as well, there is additional seating both inside and at their bar. Highly recommend the fattoush salad, it was bursting with fresh flavors and herbs, we also appreciated the fresh pita and hummus that was served with our meal. I'm already looking forward to returning.

Yelp
This is my new favorite place! The parking is easy. You have to pay after 9pm but it's free before. The service is on-point and the food is absolutely delicious. The house rice is amazing!!! It comes with ground beef, nuts and cilantro on top. I am sure you can get it without the toppings. The owners are nice. She even got woman of the year. So humble and kind. I will be a regular for sure. Can't wait to go try more items. Oh, the iced tea was so fresh and tasty! Please go!

Yelp
Never been to les amis after five years living in Fullerton. What have I been missing..did take out Friday night and had the chicken plate with a side of potatoes ball's. I was hooked and went for an early dinner this afternoon. Such a nice quaint mom and pop style restaurant. Food is excellent.. service is excellent.. ambiance is superb.. situated off wishire and harbor. And surrounded by other great restaurants.. your not bothered by traffic...and great place to people watch..going to other places.. lebonese stew was so full of flavors..I'm hooked... drinks refreshing on a warm afternoon...and lemon mint water was refreshing too they offer instead of regular water.. I enjoyed my meal ..was relaxing.. outside..with music to soothe the savage beast who had a long day...this will be my taco Tuesday instead of tacos...

Yelp
I brought 2 of my friends here for lunch today & all of us ordered the trio kabob combo which came with a side of salad, rice, hummus, & garlic sauce. We were also served pita bread & pita chips as starters. As for the kabobs, I had the lamb, chicken, & steak. Everything was delicious! I was glad my friends enjoyed it as well. This is my 3rd time here including pre-covid times & the quality of food hasn't changed which goes to show why they're still open! The texture of all 3 proteins were tender & perfectly seasoned. I was hesitant to try the lamb bc it can taste gamey but it wasn't at all. The salad tasted fresh & clean. The basmati rice was so light & good. I love their hummus & garlic sauce. Service was beyond excellent. Can't say much about the ambiance inside since we sat outdoors & it was nice.

Yelp
Located in downtown fullerton off the recently opened to traffic "walk on wilshire", this was a restaurant I really wanted to like, no...LOVE. Unfortunately, it was a big NOPE. Here's why: 1) Live music! LOVE LIVE LOVE it. But it was cold, so we opted to sit inside. Inside the owner is blasting music completely discordant with the outside. I see your audio setup inside, just pipe the outside to the inside. So the night began with an aural assault. Can't hear the family at the table nor can we hear our server (who keeps apologizing and asking us to repeat things because she can't hear us.) 2) The food. Taste was OK, but for a senior chicken plate with hummus (1 stick = 4 squares of dry chicken) $15, and anemic shawerma wrap $17, and my full plate (2 skewers) which i asked to try a lamb and a steak. Lamb with 2 skewers would have been 28 and 2 steak skewers are 27... SO 1 of each is.. 28! Ok i can deal with that, but the lamb had the texture of liver. Pasty. Bleach. I washed it down with a glass of Adyar red wine $15. Total for 3 people, 3 dishes, no apps or dessert, and 1 drink (wine) $95 with tip. It also pisses me off when they suggest the tip starting at 20% AND they calculate it on top of the tax. You don't tip on tax!

Yelp
Best falafel I've ever had. Lots of flavor and not too dry. Will be going again. Service was pretty good even though there was one person busing, running food, bartending, and taking orders

Yelp
Fun Middle Eastern Experience..... Pros: Excellent food. Big menu. Very friendly service. Cons: Parking can be tough during weekend evenings Star Ratings: - Overall: 5 - Location: 4 - Ambiance: 4 - Menu: 5 - Food Quality: 5 - Food Portions: 5 - Service: 5 - Price: 5 - Value: 5 - Parking: 3 My wife and I were in the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles during the Veterans Day weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday in the family. On Saturday night, 9 of us went to a long time favorite restaurant in the heart of Fullerton.....Les Amis. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Location: Central. Right in the core of downtown Fullerton (which is also a con...see below). - Menu: Large. Les Amis bills itself as "Lebanese", but the menu had lots of Middle Eastern favorites from areas outside Lebanon. - Quality of Food: Excellent. My wife and I had the "Mediterranean Shrimp" platter ($31) which they describe as "skewers of shrimp with vegetables in a cayenne pepper, lemon zest marinade and garlic butter sauce accompanied by hummus, pita bread and side salad". It looked and tasted as good as it sounds. I don't know what other members of the family had, but everyone seemed satisfied. The table shared 2 plates of a dessert called "Chocolate Biscuit" ($9) which was pudding inside a soft biscuit served in bite sized pieces. It was mighty good. - Service: Very friendly. The owner's family took care of our large table and were always around to help out. - Atmosphere: Casual and popular. Most of the tables in the main room and large outdoor patio were occupied during our 90 minute meal. Nice vibes. - Parking: Plenty when it's not busy. Not much on a weekend evening. Cons: - Location: About a block from the Times Square of Fullerton which means the location is easier to find than parking on weekends.....even though there's a big lot right behind the restaurant. - Parking: See above. It just depends on the day and time. Overall, Les Amis is a fine choice for Middle Eastern food with a focus on Lebanese specialties.

Yelp
We did not expect service and food and ambiance to be so excellent here. It was a last minute decision to stop in to try Les Amis. The music playing outside caught our attention. Very relaxing type jazz music. There is plenty of seating outside, however, we decided to make ourselves comfortable at the bar for this warm Saturday evening. The inside is darker and more romantic but both inside and outside are good choices for either dining in options. Our super attentive and enthusiastic bartender Edward was our server for the evening. Always smiling and always checking in on us. I absolutely loved this service. We ordered appetizers and drinks for the evening. The Labneh and the Kraidis were our apps of choice. I was suprised with how much I liked the Labneh, Arabic cheese that tastes similar to sour cream. Of course, you need to like sour cream in order to enjoy this app. The Kraidis was a sauteed shrimp app and very delicious with that garlic flavor. We will be back to visit our new friend Edward real soon! Thanks for the amazing service and food!

Yelp
Decided to give Les Ami a try for lunch based on positive reviews from friends. They were able to accommodate our large group + dog outside on a Sunday afternoon. Since we hadn't eaten here before, our hostess gave us a wonderful rundown of the menu. Based on her recommendations, we tried the potato ball appetizer (yes, they were better than Portos), the salmon couscous salad (a wee bit too lemony), a cauliflower pita wrap and a lamb shawarma wrap, the house rice, and the chicken shawarma quesadilla. We all enjoyed our food. Memorable mentions would be the house rice and cauliflower pita wrap. We would eat here again!

Yelp
Finally got to try this place! Second time's the charm! We ordered two platters of chicken kebab and one plate of beef shawarma (not pictured). Both were great! The chicken was a little bit dry but overall great. The waiter was very patient with all of our questions and checked in on us as well. Great customer service experience. The vibes indoors were great as well, had a nice ambience and the decor was intriguing, tying up to a cozy vibe all around. I got the baba ganoush and it had a smoky eggplant flavor. The soup of the day was good as well, I think the waiter said that Wednesdays was more of a vegan day but other days, the soup can be meatier. It really had a variety of choices, from hummus or baba ganoush, basmati rice or house rice, to salad or soup of the day. Wonderful place! Oh and they also serve chips and hummus before your meal.

Yelp
Really cute, great food The service is a bit slow but it's just one guy manning the whole place for lunch. I loved my 4 appetizer plate, the cauliflower was great, the watermelon salad was bright and fresh, and the hummus and dips were delicious. I will definitely be back. Get the fries with the garlic sauce.
google avatar

Richard G.

Yelp
The servers were polite. The food was wonderful. I had the wrap and my friend had the salmon couscous salad. Both recommended. We ate outside on the patio... it was a lovely day and it was clean and not too noisy.

Yelp
What a gem! Eating inside felt like you were transported to another place and time. The ambiance and music was mysterious and fun, the staff so friendly and helpful and the food so full of different flavor combinations, including the dessert so that was so nuanced and more delicious with every bite. My son just started school here and it will definitely be one of the places we will go to when visiting, and will be highly recommended to any one else visiting

Yelp
Les Amis is an absolute hidden gem! This is Lebanese food at its finest--everything we ordered was amazing. We had the steak kebab and falafel, and both were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
I absolutely love coming here. The atmosphere is delightful and the food is delicious!!! Some personal favorite - the falafel quesadilla, salmon cous cous dish, and cauliflower tacos. Every time I've come, the very kind owner comes by to check on the guests. The happy hour menu is awesome as well. Highly recommend

Yelp
We visited for Valentine's Day and they got us right in at our 7 pm reservation. We sat up at the bar and found the place charming. It's small inside but the outdoor patio is large. I'd definitely like to sit out there for lunch when the weather warms up. Anywho the patio is heated and they have blankets for guests too! Service was good but they were packed for the holiday. We waited over 45 minutes for our meal, but thankfully the food was tasty. I had as house salad with chicken and a side of hummus. My boyfriend did the steak pita quesadillas with rice. All was very flavorful and the perfect temperature. Give it a try!
google avatar

DeLayne B.

Yelp
The food at Les Ami is excellent! It's a Mediterranean vibe and the decor is amazing. They even have live entertainment some days, you can call ahead and find out. There is a large, nice patio to dine on or inside at tables or the bar and there's also a speakeasy that opens at night. We were just popping in for a drink and appetizers, so we tried the garlic shrimp and the fried cauliflower. Both were wonderful! I highly recommend Les Amis and will be returning again soon. The owners could not have been any nicer.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant with fun decor and a sunny patio in downtown Fullerton. The service was very friendly and accommodating in confirming whether dishes contain dairy. I enjoyed the Fattoush salad with shawerma lamb (no dairy). The crispy, thin pita chips add a nice crunch and satisfy you, and the bright, herby dressing pairs well with the rich, savory flavor of lamb. Crave worthy. They also have "regular American style" coffee that's not on the menu, and I thought the way it's served on a tray is a cute touch. While somewhat pricey, I would come back here again.
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great food, convenient parking. We came here for lunch on a weekend and sat outside. Our server was very attentive. The baba ganoush was great! Pita was fresh and portion was fair. For entree we shared an appetizer sampler and lamb wrap. The wrap was smaller portion than I expected, but overall all was delicious. Would definitely come back here
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Food looks great! Staff is super accommodating for our large party. Come here with friends!

Yelp
Had the pleasure of dining at Les Amis while visiting the area for the weekend. We didn't have reservations, the restaurant was busy but accommodating despite how busy it was. We started at the bar for wine while we waited for a table and then made our way to the outdoor patio. The food was delicious and authentic! My mouth is watering just looking back at my photo. For our visit we opted for small bites and enjoyed the live music they had that night. The restaurant is family owned and you could tell they take high pride in service provided and ambiance. 10/10, I wish I was closer so I could go and try the full menu!
google avatar

Abeeha H.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to catch up here with our previous plans being diverted and Les Amis was a pleasant surprise. The interior decor and the ambiance was perfect for a nice and intimate moment. The lighting and individual decorations all reflected Lebanese culture and really brought us to a finer dining experience than other restaurants. We started with hummus (3 out of 5) and pita chips (2/5), and then moved to some baba ganoush and pita (4.5/5). For my dinner we had falafel wraps with fries and toum (4.5/5) and my friend had the tacos arabes (she said they were really good I can't rate them). I would say the falafel was well seasoned and retained good texture and flavor in the wrap. Very good! The service was really good, and she even gave us infused water yay!

Yelp
It's a nice cozy little place in downtown fullerton and we came on a friday night for dinner and were able to get seating easily. It was nice they even have lap blankets in case you get cold sitting outside and need something to cover up to keep warm. We lived the ambiance and service. We ordered the fried cauliflower which I felt the vinegar was a bit heavy handed where some pieces were move sour than the others. Gf got a wrap and I got the curry shrimp which was good. They ran out of salad or soup i wanted so gave me a choice for a lentil soup which I thought gf would enjoy since she likes lentils, but the soup was a little too heavy handed on the aromatics too. All I could taste of the soup was the mint flavor which was a bit overpowering. Given it could be my lack of experience with the cuisine but other than the curry shrimp which was good, the other two were a bit too much even for me. Server did note that I hadn't drank a lot of the soup so I did mention it was too aromatic for me.

Bonnie C.

Yelp
The owners are lovely, community oriented people. They fed the hospital staff during covid. The food NEVER disappoints. The fried colliflower is to die for. The salads are so fresh. I always bring out of towners. They always want to come back again!!
google avatar

Blanca F.

Yelp
The food was fresh and so delicious. Started with the complimentary pita and hummus and then the steak shawarma wrap with side salad. Had the mint tea and baklava. Love the eclectic ambiance and music. Friendly and attentive service always a plus.

Athena H.

Yelp
We love this place! Anytime we are remotely close we make plans to stop and grab lunch here. Everything we've tried is delicious, from their lemonade, tabbouleh, cauliflower wrap, humus, coffee, chicken wrap and the garlic sauce and potatoes!!! And the service is always friendly and very helpful. It's such a beautiful restaurant inside and out on the patio. This is my daughter's go to restaurant for birthday dinners and special events. Can't wait for our next visit already
google avatar

Jami M.

Yelp
Les Amis is one of my husband and my favorite spots! I always get the Les Amis Platter. You get a variety of some of their best food. My husband is in love with their fried cauliflower. Service is always great. They allow pups on the patio which is always a bonus and they have jazz on Saturday nights! Get yourself there! I just gotta remember a photo next time I go...

Ruby Z.

Yelp
Everything was so flavorful, even the mint cucumber water was delicious. Great service and the atmosphere was relaxing.
google avatar

Terry M.

Yelp
Great Lebanese at a good price! Perfect ambiance for a small get together or a date night, and the service is always spot on! They have traditional dishes as well as fusion items like a shawarma baked potato or quesadilla, all options are worth the trip. :)
google avatar

Lacey O.

Yelp
This spot is so fun, we felt it had a 90s gothy vibe and the food was so good. There is funky Arabic music. Beautiful candleabras, lights on every table, vintage dishes for the appetizers, just so fun. Reminded me of the gypsy den in Costa Mesa. The food was wonderful especially the potato balls. And we had great service. We will definitely come again.
google avatar

Vanessa H.

Yelp
This food was very exquisite the most amazing food I have ever tasted, as first time guest here it left my mouth all sort of flavors overall amazing 10/10 would recommend to a partner or a friend!!! Definitely recommend the 4 choice appetizer which was amazing!!

Yelp
Love this place! Delicious food Gyros Cauliflower appetizer Wings (yes wings) Shrimp! Hummus Lunch time staff is always friendly and good at their job Indoors is nice but outdoor seating is even more chill imho, you can't go wrong either way My only minor gripe is the recent price hike, but what are gonna do, times are tough lol
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE the roasted cauliflower appetizer with some pita bread to make my own little wraps/tacos

Ava D.

Yelp
i went while there was only a couple of other people eating there (a wednesday at 4pm) and the service was good. the waitress was very attentive without being overbearing. the restaurant itself has great decorations but is a bit dark and warm for my taste. the food was absolutely delicious. the pita chips with hummus was a great appetizer and my chicken wrap was delicious! i highly recommend eating it with the tahini sauce. i will be eating here again.
google avatar

Yelp
We came for Mother's Day and it was amazing. Great service and food. 3 of us shared the appetizer platter and their house iced tea. Delicious. My momma was happy

Yelp
My daughter and I ate here for lunch a few months and had a great experience. Service was top notch, and the food was so delicious. So I thought it would be a great option for date night with my wife. Had a reservation for 7:15 on 5/25. We arrived right at 7:15. The couple in front of us also had a reservation. But the hostess never asked their name, which I thought was odd. They were sat in about 10 mins. We then waited another 10 mins before anyone checked us in. They again never asked our name for the reservation. The hostess said it would be 5 mins. We then waited 30 mins and nobody ever came out to update us on the status of our table. At one point the hostess was right next to us bringing a dessert out to someone on the patio. She didn't even look in our direction for an update. So we left at 7:50... with a 7:15 reservation... with no word from anyone. Apparently they do not honor reservations. The hostess seemed as if we were putting her out by being there. Les Amis obviously let anyone walk in with no regard for people who took the time to make a reservation. With the plethora of great dining options in Orange County. I don't know that I'll ever be back.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE Les Amis! Indoor and outdoor dining available but I love sitting outside with a bottle of wine! Parking is easy. They have a public parking garage across the street from them. Everything that I've ordered here were delicious! I love their fusion menu. Delicious! The soup... mouthwatering and flavorful. They also have a whiskey bar next door at night. Great vibes. Must check it out!
google avatar

Jeannie M.

Yelp
Not very busy for the Thursday afternoon that I went! It's. Hidden gem! They offer blankets for your lap when you dine in which is great because I'm so easily cold! Waitress was so nice with giving recommendations and really knew her stuff. Food was very delicious with quality flavor. Ambiance was perfect for a date night or an intimate dinner with friends.
google avatar

Soraya S.

Yelp
I would definitely return! My man and I got the platter for two and were more than satisfied. The baba ghanoush, cauliflower and salad were also hits. Great service and nice, serene, romantic ambiance!

Marisa R.

Yelp
I ordered food ahead of time for my 30 min break because if I order in person it will take too long, and due to the nature of my job I can't just go back to work and eat food there. So normally I eat on their patio by their takeout side, not on the sit down side, but this time they kicked me off their patio. They said "you can't eat takeout on the patio" I didn't have time to argue, but that was not okay. It's 2 days before Christmas, I tipped them on my order, and it doesn't make sense why I can't eat their food on their patio. I cried in my car because what the heck. Also their meat section of the plate was like 1/4 meat and it was deceivingly on a bed of greens to look more full than it actually is. Not a lot of meat.

Oscar A.

Yelp
Tasty vegan options and great ambiance with live music (jazz) on the patio. Service was great as well.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is so tasty and the cauliflower appetizer is a must try. One of the yummiest places to eat at in downtown Fullerton

Yelp
Delicious Lebanese food! Huge portions that left us leftovers for a few meals! We ordered the family meal with shawarma chicken and steak meat. Both were seasoned perfectly and very moist. The sides were all made perfectly, including the garlic butter. I could eat that with anything... the kibbeh were also delightful. Can't wait to come back here!
