A 24 Hour Itinerary to Eating at the Best Restaurants in Charlevoix’s Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie | Eater Montreal

"For a pastry-forward start I go to Les Bonyeuses, where loaves are made from 100 percent Québécois grains and the pastry case includes pattes d’ours (bear paws) filled with pastry cream and chocolate croissants." - Ivy Lerner-Frank

What a magical place, wood stove for all sandwich, toasted bread pizza etc. Food is incredible, staff are always smiling, an oasis of joy and laughter

Very disappointing. My chicken ranch panini sandwich had the taste of fish, maybe salmon. My wife's sandwich too. They try to be "a cool place" and the decor works well but the prices are much higher than other local stores selling the same products.

Good place to eat. They use local ingredients. We had a ciabatta eggs press and was delicious.

Of course the ambience can not compete with the cute cafes in touristy and pricey town center. But here is no que and fair compatible prices, and baked goods are fresh and tasty.

Great place. The food is really good and the ambiance is super too. I asked to replace my sandwich in a salad and they did it for me. Great service and nice employees. The pie 🥧 to go are really good too. You must stop there.

I love how homey this bakery is. Once you step in you're greeted with loads of local products like pates, cheeses, honey, etc., You have full counters stocked with croissant, breads, danishes, etc. And you can also see a wood oven for pizzas as well. Staff were helpful and friendly and were so patient while choosing (because they have so many options). They even have a fridge for local beers as well. For lunch, we opted for their sandwiches. I chose the smoked salmon one which was SO fresh and good and the thing I love is that they display the sandwich "fillings" so you can pick which one you want and then they'll put it in toasted bread for you so that it's nice and fresh and the sandwich isn't sitting in the fridge getting soggy. I also got one of their soups that day which was the onion soup and you can opt for a small slice of baguette with baked cheese on it to top your soup. Overall I found this place super inviting and I just want to try everything in it. Will definitely come back.

Food is great, however there are sacrilegious and satanic decorations in the washroom. They gave me quite a scare, I had to keep my friend with me as I urinated. The pastries are great nonetheless, just keep a rosary close at all times.
