We had a fantastic dinner at Les Canailles and absolutely loved it! The place has a simple, cozy vibe that made us feel right at home from the start. The menu is where it really shines, packed with creative takes on French classics. This spot might look unassuming, but the food is truly spectacular. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

One of the best dining experience I’ve had in Montreal, most restaurants don’t even hold a flame to this one! The place was charming w/ great service, and not only was the food unbelievable, it was beautifully presented. I highly recommend every item pictured (which is everything we had!) 5⭐️

Had a great experience here it’s a bring your own wine restaurant so they pay more attention to getting more flavour in the food which is always good. Waiter really nice and polite bilingual didn’t get his name but very unprofessional and attentive. Went with the cod to start then salmon tartare which was amazing presentation and taste was really enjoyable experience. The menu is small which is better and they do have specials, l do prefer restaurants with small menu the food is always better quality and staff have more knowledgeable about everything.

I’m not amazed with the food. Magret de canard is slightly overcooked and the gravy didn’t bring out any special flavor. For the paella, I would’ve liked the taste of seafood to blend in more in the rice. They were pretty generous in the amount of seafood in the plate though. Service was also excellent and price is decent as it is a bring your own wine.

Hi Nice little restaurant in the east . Excellent cuisine . Well prepared duck breast with yam puree and mixed carrots . Prices are way lower then in the downtown restaurants for equivalent Haute cuisine I will definitely return Second visit Warm Brie And angus aaa beef strip loin With carottes purée. Second guest Salmon tartar Lobster ravioli Third guest Beef tartar Angus AAA beef strip loin All Excellent Service was excellent 👌. Reasonable prices Cheers Mike

Great food at an ok price. I used to come here 5 years ago 5 service at 50$ was unbeatable well now they do a 3service with digestive (sorbet with alcohol) for 75$. so prices are a climbing but the food is good at least you can still BYOB hehe l

I have heard a lot of this restaurant before and always wanted to visit it since I like small restaurants with great food and bring your own wine option. This restaurant is a complete disappointment except service. The place doesn’t look the same as on their website. The actual menu is completely different from the menu on the website and the presentation and taste of the dishes is awful!!!! Food is tasteless and without great presentation. Dirty wine glasses, very old furniture, ice making machine was broken ( no chance to cool off your wine, extremely loud. I don’t understand why people are still going there… I think really by habit. Maybe this resto was great once but not anymore. Only service was descent. Our waiter Vincent was doing a great job! I will never come back there and will never recommend this dingy place.

Les Canailles has a delightful French fare, perfect for big groups. Our waiter was very friendly, took his time to explain the menu 3 times! To ensure we all got a chance to hear the menu properly and ask questions. Highly attentive, wonderful service. It is however loud, so if you want a quiet romantic date for two, it is not the place for that! The food was delicious especially the risotto but I was not super impressed with dessert. I would likely skip it next time around. Note: BYOB place
