Les Chalets du Mont d'Arbois

When I dreamed of my perfect ski vacation and imagined what a chalet in the French Alps should look and feel like, this was it. Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois embodies everything one could hope for in an alpine retreat, charming, elegant, intimate, and wonderfully cozy. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire staff. Every team member, from the reception desk and concierge to the restaurant, spa, and housekeeping staff, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Their attentiveness and genuine care made us feel not just like guests, but truly valued. The shuttle service to town was outstanding, always prompt and reliable, so we never had to wait long. The chalet’s location is ideal, sitting right at the base of the gondola, offering one of the most unique ski-in/ski-out experiences we’ve ever encountered. It made our days on the slopes effortless and unforgettable. A special mention must go to Antoine and Germaine at the ski shop affiliated with the chalet. Their professionalism, warmth, and expertise elevated our ski experience even further, they were simply outstanding. Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois is the definition of alpine perfection. If you’re seeking a luxurious yet welcoming stay in Megève, with impeccable service, cozy charm, and unbeatable access to the slopes, this is the place.

The hotel is a beautiful chalet, with the best crew, from the front desk, concierge, waiters, everybody had an incredible attitude towards service. The quality in general was excellent, the only suggestion is to improve the valet service. The hotel is locatel far from town, so unless you arrived by car, you will need a shuttle to go downtown, and the ski area. The thing is they are not very well organized and in our experience they let us wait sometimes more than 40 minutes, they said we will be there in 5, and we were with a 10mo baby waiting for the baby to arrive for much longer than expected, they always left some excuse, sometimes the traffic, sometimes the other guests, any way... I didnt felt comfortable on that service, apart from that, the hotel is great, the Spa is amazing, and the people in the concierge will do anything to plan your whole trip. I Would come back, no questions asked.

This hotel is a scam, I paid over 2500€ per night for a 65m2 Alpage suite. I ended up in a fake suite with a weird layout… ||Basically I would have had the same experience with a basic normal room. The hotel understood my complain but said they couldn’t not do anything… honestly I have never seen this I my life. How can you care so little about your customers… your reputation. ||My advice, don’t book here, it’s not at the level.

Silence, Spa, and Super-Staff! 🤫✨ A great stay. The atmosphere is "Classic Luxury": think cozy wood, deep armchairs, and zero noise. My Survival Kit: 1. The Room: Edelweiss room with view facing the pool and the valley. The silence is so deep and therapeutic. 2. The Spa: The evening massages resurrected me for the next day of skiing. 🔋 3. The Staff: Absolute great. They went on a "Mission Impossible" run to town on a Sunday to get medical mouthwash for my son. 🦷🚑 Note: You need a shuttle to get to the slopes, but the drivers are faster than me walking, so who cares? Highly recommended for the peace, the food, and the kindness.

Very disappointing stay. There is a kids’ play area but no nanny or supervision, and it isn’t properly equipped. This left me not knowing where I could safely leave my daughter. The pool is also not heated — many guests were complaining that the water was cold.Very disappointing stay.

Chalet Mont d'Artois was a spectacular base for a week of wonderful skiing. The Navettes were efficient, the service at the Mont d'artois ski shop was amazing and the hotel and all staff very friendly and efficient. Thank you for a glorious week

Bathroom very small with no shower and ventilation. Toilet closet is separate room but the air ventilation is internal which means the toilet air is ventilated into bathroom rather then going outside. Bathroom has not air-ventilation so the air from toilet stays at bathroom. Heating in the bedroom is also not strong enough so if you open the door a few times for balcony access the room gets cold quickly.

Firstly, I was surprised to learn that Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois is no longer a Four Seasons property. Many guests, myself included, may choose this hotel expecting the high standards synonymous with the Four Seasons brand, only to find the experience far from comparable. The hotel is significantly overrated when considering the standard of service and facilities provided. Key concerns include: • Kids Club: The advertised kids club is essentially an empty space, lacking qualified staff to supervise or engage children effectively. • Spa Facilities: The spa was disappointing, with a non-functional sauna and an unheated pool. • Reception Staff: The reception team was neither polite nor proactive in ensuring a pleasant stay, which was disheartening. • Agency Booking Issues: I booked through an agency, yet the hotel did not respect the commission arrangement, which reflects poorly on professionalism. Overall, the service, amenities, and management do not justify the premium reputation or cost of this hotel. Regrettably, I will not consider returning to Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois in the future, nor can I recommend it to others.
