Les Deux Amis Cafe and Wine Bar

I stopped by Les Deux Amis Café & Wine Bar in San Francisco and had such a wonderful experience that felt both cozy and elevated at the same time. The ambiance is warm and inviting the kind of place where you can enjoy a slow morning with a pastry or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine. I had the chance to do a wine tasting, and every pour was carefully chosen, balanced, and truly enjoyable. To pair with it, I tried their cheese and fruits table, which was beautifully arranged and complemented the wines perfectly. From the savory side, the mushroom flatbread was a standout earthy, flavorful, and baked just right. And because I can never skip coffee, I tried their matcha latte, a smooth coffee, and of course a buttery croissant that melted in my mouth. The staff made the whole experience even better friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they serve. It’s the type of café and wine bar where you can come for a quick bite or stay longer and make it an experience. Between the quality wines, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, Les Deux Amis has quickly become one of my favorite finds in San Francisco. Perfect for wine lovers, coffee lovers, and anyone who appreciates a charming café setting. Definitely recommend!

GORGEOUS, must-visit coffee and wine bar in SOMA!!! It's beautiful inside and out with tons of plants and amazing interior design. I have only come in the mornings (I enjoyed the unique lattes like the Butterfly Pea Latte) but it transforms into a wine + pizza spot in the evenings. Excellent, friendly service and the whole place is clean and bright. Total hidden gem...come before everyone else finds out about it!

Really cute cafe hidden away but definitely worth checking out if you're in need of a coffee. We got a flat white and two matcha lattes. Both very tasty.

Although still in the soft opening phase, I checked this place out for coffee today. It’s a very attractive interior — I think extra pretty because it will function as a wine bar as well as a coffee bar. The staff were friendly. My flat white coffee was very good: small and strong (think flat white meets cortado). I hear that they’ll be open on Sundays too; which is great because many of the coffee bars in SoMa are closed on Sundays. They can't sell wine yet but hope to be able to soon.

Hella cute inside, comfortable seating, dope decor, vibey playlist and good prices. Hours right now are 730a-230p but exciting things coming as they settle in. Hoping for the shops success & glad to see them finally open. Shout out to Salem and Malia behind the bar to be, very pleasant and patient! Plus positive is the Loyalty card they offer

Several wine and matcha options but not much more. Service is quick because there is no crowd. Pizza and pumpkin bread were delicious. It's great for people who live really close. The ambiance is a whole different story. Everything seems off. They have bar stools that are short with no backs so they aren't very comfy. The long bench, which is the main seating, went for a lazy look rather than comfortable seating. The entire bench has a lean back area that is at about 25-33% grade. There are a few pillows to fill in this ackward gap but not nearly enough. The people who join you at a table are seated at lawn chairs that are equally uncomfortable. What made them think people want to lean back at a table as if you are leaning back to watch a movie. If they ever put a giant screen on the ceiling the seating is perfect to watch a show. The color is kind of a nauseating 1950's hospital green, almost a mint green. There are fake flowers and plants drapped everywhere. I wonder when they take all those dust catchers down and clean. At least the ones outside get a little dusting from the wind. Lastly, the entire set up is odd. One huge counter that's WAY TO DEEP and takes up a ton of space. Very poor non-functional design. The topper is the sloppy living room furniture tucked into 2 corners. Hire a new designer.

Just want to give 5 stars to the black woman working during our visit. She was so humble, polite, and kind even though we only ordered banana bread, she helped us with the wifi password and charger spots. Truly great service!!!!

This is my new favorite coffee shop, the green plants w hint of brown chairs/sofa and picture frames ambiance is everything. The chill vibe music in the background is just the right nose level. I had american and it was delicious. Next time, I will ask for extra hot, and the mochi muffin was delicious, beautiful & purple inside, moist w flakes of coconut. CC accepted.

a 3-month new cafe, it's not in the greatest area but is absolutely beautiful inside! the staff was so friendly and shared with me the various wine tasting events they host. the cafe was perfect for doing some light work, and there's free wifi. I went early in the morning for an ocean beach latte ($6.50) and almond croissant (sourced from starter bakery). the ocean beach latte was a butterfly pea matcha latte and I adored the flavor combination! for the almond croissant, I loved the almond topping and the paste wasn't sickly sweet, but the croissant itself was pretty soft and chewy instead of being light and flaky

Came here with my friend and Les Deux Amis was super pleasant for a work-from-cafe kind of day!! FOOD [4/5] ========== + Mushroom Truffle Pizza (5/5) The pizza was unexpectedly really good! Super warm, really good balance of mushrooms and cheese. The crust was really crunchy and light. The server even provided cheese and red pepper! + Butterfly Pea Latte (3/5) I ordered their seasonal latte. It felt a bit gimmicky and tasted a bit watered down. I liked the color but their drinks seem to be lower quality and more typical. AMBIANCE & SERVICE [5/5] ====================== The establishment has a bunch of seating and outlets. I went on a Monday and it was almost completely empty! Overall a nice place to work at, but I think the drinks could be further improved. :-)

I recently checked out this new cafe in the neighborhood and grabbed some pastries and a couple of donuts to-go for me and my friends to share. Their cake donuts are pretty food and a nice sweet treat. I also got the traditional, ham & cheese, and chocolate croissants to try and out of the three, the ham & cheese was my favorite. It was nice and flaky with a good amount of filling. There are some tables to sit and work at which is great for the neighborhood and it's nice that there is a new spot to hang out at. Next time I'll have to try the lattes here and the Japanese baumkuchen cake!

Oh a bakery with fresh pastries in the no where land. Bakery goods and cafe by day and wine bar by night. You can't miss it, there is decorations of dangling flowers in the front. Today I tried the ube mochi muffin (yes purple) with Shredded Coconut. Not much ube flavor except for the color. It was fluffy, not dense. And the Crufin. Together they cost over $12. Credit or debit card only. No cash. I was eyeing the flourless chocolate slice and I couldn't resist. It was delicious. Big chocolate covered strawberry on top. Very dense and yet crumbly. Very chocolate. Made my day! They sold out of banana bread. The pastries come from Cafe Madeleine. Beautiful place to hang out. There's a cherry blossom tree in the courtyard in front. It would be lovely on a sunny day.

So cute! I went during the day and the girl working was so nice. Tried a butterfly pea latte and it was very tasty. Menu had me so curious and I will definitely be back because just look at the pics....really charming place and a breath of fresh air. Makes me so happy to seen the area between 5th and Van Ness coming to life again with businesses.

Cute new cafe in SoMa. A little pricey but the ambience is really nice with modern deco and some photogenic moments. I was going to try the chocolate croissant but they ran out at the time. Popular! I tried iced vanilla latte and it tastes good. They seem to offer some quick lunch/happy hour food, too, like cheese board and personal sized pizzas. Hope more and more new businesses like this pop up in the neighborhood.

Extremely cute and cozy working cafe in soma - it's newly opened so it not that crowded and it's a great place to take a chill day, grab a coffee, have a chat, take work meetings etc. the service is very friendly and they customized my coffee order too and it tasted too good. I loved it.

Stopped here while waiting for repairs on my motorcycle next door and was pleasantly surprised with great coffee, pastries and service. Cute little cafe with lots of natural light and places to sit if you need to get in a bit of work. My latte was perfect and the ube coconut mochi muffin was fire. I'll be back for more

Was walking around the neighborhood and noticed this place that definitely wasn't here before! Stopped for a latte and enjoyed the nice calm, clean vibe. Really like how the place is decorated. Staff is very kind as well. I'm hoping it will become a mainstay.

Tried this cafe for the first time and had a wonderful experience! The owner was super sweet and considerate and went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying our time there multiple times. Coffee and matcha drinks were great! The decor is also lovely and tons of natural sunlight, seating and wifi. Will definitely be coming back!

Friendly and great service with amazing coffee! The ambiance and vibe of this place is very chill and relaxed. Feels like a great spot for a date or with friends and family! There is plenty of seating as well.

Great new Café in this quiet West SoMa. It's very nice to be able to have my morning coffee and delicious pastry in a cute Café ambiance in this neighborhood. I highly recommended.

Very happy to find new coffee shop and wine bar in my neighborhood. I was there in the morning so I had flat white coffee and some baked goods. Everything was good, great ambiance and good tasting coffee and baked goods. Nowadays it's hard to find good sit down coffee shop that's reasonably priced. The place looked very comfortable and inviting. I am looking forward to come in the evening and try some of their food and wine.

I 've been waiting for months for this cafe to open up near my work. Apparently it's a cafe in the morning and then a wine and cheese bar in the afternoon/evening. I saw their sign board on the sidewalk this morning and was very excited. I rushed down to grab some coffees and tea to show support for our new neighbors. Welcome to SOMA!

Really great new coffee shop at Howard and 8th. We went over for their soft opening today and met the staff and the GM. Very friendly. Great Americano and pastries.

I tried the pizza and green tea matcha latte it was good and so worth the price! I liked the almond croissant but personally didn't think the regular one was worth. Japanese cake was good but dense (I think that's how it's supposed to be though). The cafe has a cute aesthetic so I just chill there and work. They're offering discounts right now if you just ask for one!

Super cute place and the staff are very nice. Limited options for decaf but drinks are good and so are the pastries!
