"Locally grown tomatoes and fruit, Ventoux spelt and pork: the chef hits the spot every time courtesy of modern recipes rich in Provençal accents, like baked croaker paired with fennel in aioli and a foamy bisque or a cassolette of gambas and squid. Excellent value for money and a knock-out view of the Ouvèze from the spacious contemporary dining room." - Michelin Inspector
We had one of our best dinners of the month in Provence at Bistro Panoramique tonight. This is one of two restaurants at this location in the old medieval town part of Vaison La Romaine. The room was beautifully mid century modern with a fire roaring in a stove making the restaurant amazingly comfortable on a cold rainy night. There’s a great view better seen doing the day. The food was brilliant and served very competently without hovering. An amuse bouche came immediately consisting of a thick mushroom soup with a cheeses cookie and a seeded cracker. Starters were a cassoulette of prawns in a seafood broth with a stuffed ravioli. Main course was slow roasted chicken with mushrooms and truffles and fish of the day - hake - in a citrus sauce over risotto. Desserts were a deconstructed Black Forest cake and a pineapple with passion fruit mousse and coconut cream. A very nice and reasonable wine list and help choosing a vin blanc cote du Rhône to accompany the meal. Overall a meal to remember. And the restaurant is just steps away from a parking lot. We were sorry we are leaving tomorrow or we’d be back.

Excellent welcoming by the owner and whole team.
Everything has been made to make the stay smooth despite huge delay on the road!
Thank you for the great food and wine list too, not to mention the new comfortable rooms!

Great French restaurant. The welcome was done by the chef himself and ensured we had a pleasant seat in the restaurant (all seats are pleasant by the way).
From appetizers to desert, the food was superb. My wife and I had different plates and tasted the skills needed to have combine different tastes.
The service is polite and welcoming.
You can see in the back the chef and his team working hard, you can see art taking shape!
I would highly recommend this restaurant. Please make reservations in advance!!!

This review is for both the bistro and the guest room. 5 stars for each!
The bistro is the rare combination of a great view having food and service to match. The menu was thoughtful and perfectly executed. The drinks were great. The service impeccable.
The guest room was a delight. The perfect location, quiet and cozy room, kind and welcoming hosts, and breakfast each morning with the fantastic view.

The fixed price menu was really reasonable and food was quite good but the service let it down a bit. We spent a long time waiting around to have a drink served and didn't get any bread until we asked with our main menu where as other tables had it brought over to them
straight away. No one came to fill up our wine or water or ask if we wanted anymore. Even when it came to paying we went up to a bar because we waited for at least 10 minutes after our bill was brought to us. Perhaps they were under staffed that evening as it came with high reccomendations but we wouldn't go back.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable room and attentive staff member, Cathy, who assisted us in locating dinner reservations when much of the town's dining was closed. Delicious breakfast. Lovely setting. My only suggestion would be to more fully separate bathroom from bedroom in chambres.

Cute second floor room but felt ceilinged for hobbits. Our unit did not have a shower. No reception, meaning checkins are difficult esp if you are travelling without data plans. Breakfast is delivered to room. Feels more like airbnb than hotel.

Great place with a beautiful view of Vaison. Staff is friendly, professional and accommodating to any of your needs (in my case, nut allergy). Food is a feast not only for the mouth but also for the eye. Would love to come back more often if only it wasn't always fully booked
