We ordered the cabbage, mushrooms, and fried polenta — expecting polite vegetables, got a full-blown performance instead. The cabbage came out looking all humble, then hit me with smoky, crispy confidence like it had a PR team. The mushrooms were dark, rich, and mysterious — the kind you’d definitely text at 2 a.m. if they were human. And the fried polenta? Golden, crunchy, and so comforting I briefly considered legally adopting it.
The staff were effortlessly cool — that rare mix of genuinely nice and “we could all be in an indie band together.” The wine was delightful, slightly chaotic, and made me feel 15% more philosophical by the second glass.
By the end I was sitting there, fork in hand, questioning whether I could move here. If vegetables always tasted like this, I’d be a better person by now.
Five stars. Would cross borders again for another round.
